Kira paced back and forth, not that she heard her footsteps anymore. It was a little unnerving really. Now she was like a ******* Ninja, making no sound. Or if she wasn't careful she'd turn into a Kira balloon, but at least she could only go about 10 inches off the ground so she couldn't float away. It took a lot of practice however to learn how to walk without looking like she was drifting. Standing still as well.

She flopped down on her bed, petting Sof. "What am I going to do.." she said softly. She needed help. There was a tug on her shoes, she sat up, eyeing the fluffy white dog. "Himesh.." she said, then Tucker came in. She took out her cell phone, sending a text message to Lexy to see if she would meet her at the mall, over by the shark. She had a childe she wanted her to meet, though she already told her that he declared his love for her. Maybe she could tell her if it was true. Her track record, no. She didn't want to believe it. Although she would still go along with the plan to free her from David. She was sure Lexy would be happy to hear that.

She put her phone away, heading downstairs to get Reggie. "I have someone I want you to meet. She's my best friend, like a sister to me." she said. Then there was the fact that the woman was protective of her, she figured that she would want to meet Reggie. "I asked her to meet us at the mall."

She blinked as she started to drift but she felt herself being pushed. She looked behind her to see Tucker pushing on her legs. "That is not amusing!" she said. It was like she was on wheels all the time without the feeling of touching the ground. She hoped this was the last change she went through.

Kira looked to Reggie after side stepping the dog. "I figured we could just speed over there, so when you're ready.." she said.

Reginald was sitting down on the couch as usual he was flipping through the channels not really expecting to find anything more interesting then what his life has been like lately. He just laid the remote down beside him a smirk tugging at his lips while he closes his eyes thinking. An image flashed through his mind about tying a string to Kira's ankle and having her float up in the air. A Kira balloon, he could imagine walking down the streets with her everyone goggling his balloon not realizing it's a undead vampire. He couldn't help but to laugh as he let the daydream wander from there.

He hoped that Kira was alright up there though, maybe he should go check up on her? He started to get up before plopping back down. No it's best he didn't, she needs time to figure out how to deal with it herself. He then started to think about what they spoke about the night before. He declared his love to her and oh boy was she overwhelmed. Just hearing her freak out the way she did confirmed that those other guys must of hurt her pretty badly. He was going to enjoy putting an end to the marriage multiple plans popping in his head each involving David tragically meeting his end.

Reginald smiled as he watched Kira move down the stairs his eyes following her. When she spoke of him meeting her best friend though he shot up and was all sorts of excited. Finally meeting someone else who brings Kira happiness! "Right on, I can't wait to meet her Kira." He said the excitement clear in his voice and smile. The mall where it all began, where a simple cheeseburger was enough for him to give his soul to her happily and where his new and exciting life began. He blinked a bit as she started to drift then looked down at her feet and couldn't help but to laugh. He pointed at the dog and slapped his leg doubling over he was laughing so hard. "Oh hell that is funny! Where is a camera when you need one?"

Reginald settled down and then gave her a slight nod. "Speeding over there sounds good to me, Race you?" He said excitement still clear in his voice. Blurring he sped off towards the mall.

When Alexandrea's phone started to beep at her, she had to ignore it. She was busy at her workbench in her shop, decorating a new hat. The soft felt was a creamy off white colour and the band she had just glued into place a dark blood red with a single silk rose in golden yellow sewn on the side, slightly closer to the back than the front.

Setting the hat down on an empty head form to dry, Alex wiped the glue from her fingers before checking the message. It was from Kira, who wanted Alexandrea to meet with her... and he new childe?

"Hmm. Interesting..." The blonde murmured softly to no one and then stood, calling out to her own childe, Breyanna.

"I'm taking a break, watch the store for me?"

Not waiting for a reply, knowing that Breyanna was always around either sleeping or hacking in the office, Alexandrea made sure she had a fresh severed head for Orin in case the coast was clear to give him a snack and left the shop to head over to the shark tank.

Sure enough, no one else was there... at least not yet. Taking out the head, she hand fed it to the shark and gave him a kiss on the top of his head before Orin swam away with his treat. She felt a draft in back of her and looked around, startled to see a strange young man standing right behind her. She wondered how much he had seen.

"Um... hello?"

There wasn't much else to say. Whether or not this was Kira's childe, Kira hadn't mentioned his name. And whether or not he was certainly a vampire. And may have just witnessed Alex behaving in a way that no human should ever see...

Damn. She really had to start being a lot more careful. Briefly Alex considered just killing him, whomever he was, just to make sure he didn't report her.

Kira rolled her eyes, he was having too much fun with this floating issue of hers. He disappeared before she could hit him. She quickly sped off after him, but it had been the first she used that power with her new issue. She couldn't stop herself and ran right into Reggie, knocking him down and she fell. "Damn.." she felt like she just hit a wall, but it was Reggie. "Sorry, I forgot I hadn't tried that power after my floating problem." she got up.

She smiled at her friend, "This is my childe, Reginald or Reggie." she said, she looked over at Reggie. "This is Alexandrea. I call her Lexy, others call her Alex."

She looked over at the water with the shark in it, she wondered something. She went over to the water, pressing a foot down but her shoe went in a little. She backed away. "Okay, floating does not mean I can walk on water." she said. Oh well. She looked at Lexy, "I'm having a little issue with floating, drifting, my feet don't touch the ground. Learning to walk and fight all over again...it sucks." she said with a sigh.

Kira went and sat down in a seat so she didn't have to focus on keeping her feet planted. "Sorry Lexy, were you busy?" she asked.

Reginald stopped at the meeting place not thinking about this being a mall and appearing out of nowhere he looked around noticing a woman turning to say hello to him. Oh crap, was he going to have to kill this beautiful woman? Wait maybe this is the person he was going to meet.. What was taking Kira so long this was a race. He just stood there for a moment looking at her until Kira suddenly slammed into his back knocking him over on his face.

"Ugh, who drives a car in a mall?" He asked before getting up and seeing it was Kira. Ah Problems stopping that explains it. He dusts off his clothing and smiled though happy that Kira finally made it. He felt her absence even though it was so brief.

He looked over at Alexandrea then and his smile grew significantly as the introductions were made. "Hello, it's a pleasure to meet Kira's best friend. I think I will stick with Alexandrea though." Alex just sounded to male and didn't suit her and Lexy just seemed too personal.

Watching Kira though his smile faded and he pulled out his gun as she stuck her foot in the water aiming it towards the shark with careful eyes if the thing made it close to her he was going to unleash every single bullet he had at it. His breathing stopping, finger on the trigger and safety off. When she backed away though he lowered the weapon and put it back in it's holster before shaking his head. Not wanting to interrupt her as she spoke to Alexandrea he just waited his turn. When she moved to sit down he followed her and sat down close to her letting his attention drift towards the other woman.

Alex smiled in relief when the stranger did indeed turn out to be Kira's fledgling. He was a nice enough looking young man just a bit too skinny and bookish in Alex's opinion. The sort of lad that if he had still been human, Alexandrea would have wanted to cook for and fatten up. And not necessarily to send to the shark.

The momentary observation was gone as soon as the rest of what Kira had said started to sink in. She couldn't help but remember one of her favorite episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (back from before Alex herself was a vampire..) called, 'Hush'. The villains in the show had been known as ''The Gentlemen' and rather than walk, they had floated. Drifting where ever they wished to go. It had been one of the creepier Buffys.

This Reggie's holding out a gun towards her beloved friend Orin did not escape her notice, however. But she said nothing at the time, just filing his reaction down for future reference. A 'shot first and ask questions later type', Alex decided and fought down the snap judgement she was close to making about him.

Joining the two at the bench, Alex held out her hand to Reggie. "Well, good to meet you, Reginald." Alexandrea said as her hand waited to shake his. Always the first thing Alex did when meeting someone new. She tried to keep an open mind about him, Alex knew she could be over protective when it came to her Kiwi, but something in her gut was on alert with this one. Maybe it was just because he had been ready to shot a helpless shark trapped in a tank. Or maybe it was due to Kira's track record with men. Not that Alexandrea was one to judge when it came to having a successful romance.

Alex looked Kira over curiously. "When did this start Kiwi? Have you tried dancing yet? I bet your beef cakes will make plenty of cracks about how light you are on your feet after they get a load out of this latest change."

"Thanks for comparing me to a car hitting you." Kira muttered. She shook her head, "Reggie, chill. I wouldn't stick my foot in there if I didn't know it was safe. That shark is like a mascot." she said. Not that the shark would have liked her foot, it would turn to ash in its mouth. She closed her eyes a moment. Reggie was also protective of her.

She looked at her friend, "There are few other strange things that I need to tell you about." she said, she suppose she had been so busy with Reggie, many things slipped her mind. "The floating, just recently." she said, When Lexy brought up dancing and the beef cakes, her face went blank. "Oh no." she said, "Unless I get better at this controlling, I can't dance. I'll fly off the stage. ****." she ran a hand through her hair. "Okay, just need to cancel my stuff, they can carry the show on their own. To repeats next week or something.."

"Well, good thing I'm not a tap dancer or I'd be really screwed." she joked. She sighed. "I don't understand why I'm going through so many changes. Floating, I got wings. I about really fucked up on that one, getting myself seen. I think it was too crazy of a story to run with." she said. "Cat eyes, freaky *** shadow."

The night she discovered the wings the hard way, Windy had found her. He also changed, some kind of wind power. She wasn't about to bring him up right now.

"Reggie is a killer. I think he's having some issues with anger management. Not that I'm one to speak about that one.." Kira said, there were plenty of times she had lost her temper. She had thought about them hanging out at a club but she didn't think Reggie was ready to go back to one, plus it was hard to talk over the music.

Reginald rubbed the back of his neck. Having just recently turned and not learning many social skills yet he felt bad about pulling the gun out on the shark. He probably shouldn't of done that he just wanted to protect Kira. Probably not the best first impression he wants to give her best friend either. "Yeah sorry about that Kira.. Just seen a shark and you sticking a blood filled foot into the water of the tank thinking you lost your mind and were going to go for a dip with it. I know you are strong and all but I am not sure you can wrestle with a shark in water without missing a few limbs. Sorry but you should know that I lived a sheltered life and my social skills aren't all that great. Still the thought sticking limbs inside a shark tank just seems... Not right?" He laughed nervously.

Turning his head to the side slightly he smiled happily as he reached out to take Alexandrea's hand giving it a firm shake. "Yes very good to meet you, I have wanted to meet you since the day Kira first mentioned you. " It was true he had wanted to meet the woman to see if she was truly as good of a friend as Kira claimed she was. He wasn't so good at the subtle questioning though so he sat there while the two started to talk to one another.

Trying to figure out a way to test Alexandrea to ask her questions that would tell him if she truly was a good friend or not. He wished he could just interrogate her like he did Dave the other night and give her a good shake down but that wouldn't work at all. First off she was probably smarter and stronger then him and second... Kira really might grow to hate or punish him severely because she would find out. He laughed lightly as to not disturb the two when something funny was said between them but it was rather dry as his mind was focused on other things.

He gave Kira his full attention though once she spoke his name though. Nodding along with her about him being a killer and having anger management problems. He never experienced it before when he was a human, the worst it got was when he threw his keyboard to the ground and smashed it. That was just childishness though and happened several years ago. "Yeah, it's like a bubbling rage that wants me to rip everything apart and if they die to easily take it out on their corpse sort of rage. I don't really like it at all. I guess it will just take time for me to control or master. Maybe like in some of the movies I watched learn to flow with it, not fight it but let it become a part of me?" He raised his shoulders in a little shrug not knowing what to make of it himself.

Reggie didn't bother to stand up, taking her hand while remaining seated besides his Sire, almost as if he was glued to her side. Shaking his hand in return, Alexandrea pursed her lips but tried not to frown as he made excuse for his behavior and laughed nervously. None of his actions or words impressed her.

At times it was difficult to not use her enhanced empathic ability on others but she always tried to make an effort. This time she didn't bother to try at all. As Kira's new childe spoke of having been wanting to meet Alexandrea, she did go ahead and frown. He wasn't being completely honest with her, there was something he was holding back. But what?

She sat down herself, on the other side of her friend, and chuckled as Kira brought her up to speed on all the changes that had been happening to her. It was startling, to say the least. So many different things almost all at once. Alexandrea worried for her friend, it was a lot to cope with. And now her Kiwi had a new childe on top of it all?

The conversation went back to Reggie and he confirmed what his Sire told Alex about his temper. Which did nothing to put Alexandrea at ease concerning his character or motivations. She knew many killers these days and while some did have trouble with emotions, most had control over their tempers. No longer worried about invading his privacy, Alexandrea went ahead and used her full empathic nature to examine the young man. And couldn't help but grin.

HE planned on testing HER? Alex chuckled again and shook her head, his intentions so clear that Alex had to wonder if his temper wasn't the only emotional aspect of his nature that he had little control over.

She gave him a nod in a show of sympathy and then shook her head at his question.

"Well, I'm not an expert on the Killer Path... Reggie. But I know quite a few that have been at it for a few years now. Perhaps they could tell you if 'going with the flow is the right way to go. As far as letting it become a part of you however? It already is. The sooner you come to terms with that and the fact that you won't ever be the same again, the better."

Kira shook her head at Reggie, "You really need to start being less protective of me. I know what I'm doing." she said, most of the time anyway. She put herself in danger a lot but its what she lived for. "Besides, I lose a limb, I can heal it back." she said, looking around to make sure they were alone. Now explaining away what someone just saw might take some effort. Maybe a magic trick? It was what she was going to say her floating problem was.

She rested her head on Lexy's shoulder a moment. "I have no idea how to help him. Think something strange happened when I sired him. Has emotions when I'm around, has none while I'm not." she said. 'His devotion is a little overwhelming..' she added in Lexy's head.

"I'm hoping that maybe...things will get better over time, and he has time to get used to this new life.." she said.
