--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Paige: Paige had been trying to find Harper's Playground and visit the wraith Danicus, but she had gotten lost along the way. She proceeded to take her frustrations out on the nearest human, who she dragged into an alley and threw against a wall.
Cristiana: Cristiana was just leaving work at the club when she seen Paige snatch the human. Her brow rose, she followed taking off her high heels to be quieter as she watched to see what Paige would do.
Paige: Paige was not torturing the human so much as breaking it apart against the brick wall until its face was unrecognizeable. She let the corpse fall and licked the back of her hand, orange eyes narrowed childishly. She hated this search. She hated the wraith, and she hadn't even met them.
Cristiana: "My my Paige, fancy meeting you in this lone dark alley." She said stepping out from the shadow cast from the ending of the light of the streetlamp. "Things not going your way tonight?" She said stepping over the bloodied male.
Paige: Paige levitated backward a foot or so, then stopped. She had nothing to be guilty of, she shouldn't retreat. Besides, she still had that tarot card in the pocket of her work uniform. The woman who had been thoughtful enough to gift it to her after the Mardi Gras party would not harm her. "I'm afraid not," she whispered. "Cristiana."
Cristiana: Crissy leaned against the wall, not caring what was rubbing against the arm of her coat as she lit a cigarette she pulled from her pocket, "What seems to be the trouble?"
Paige: "I couldn't find a building," she stated and looked down at the disfigured body. It was already getting cold and hard. She had a remorseless look in her eyes.
Cristiana: She glanced down following her eyes then looked back up to her, there was no remorse or pity in her eyes. "Hunny, it was fate he died tonight. Don't look so blue. Now what building were you looking for?" Said the woman who looked and acted so much like a human she could blend right in and also employed as many of them as she was allowed.
Paige: She felt a little better and relaxed, orange eyes softening as she looked at the woman. She whispered "Harper's Play...ground..."
Cristiana: She rose a brow at her, "Well the club is right over there." She motioned toward Wickbridge then pointed south of the club, "And the mall, 8th Dimension is right oover there. Next building, the desolate area over behind the mall, That is Harper Rock Playland. Is that the place you are looking for?"
Paige: She nodded gently and rubbed her fist, then lowered her levitating self to the ground as much as she could. She would go to the club first and get a drink. She didn't have the energy anymore. It was almost as if she had spent it beating someone to a bloody pulp.
Cristiana: She took out a wipie pad and handed it to her. "Here clean off the blood and I will take you over to the club, get you something warm like Whiskey in your belly." She shrugged out of her jacket and offered it over too.
Paige: "You read my mind," she whispered gratefully and wiped the coagulated blood off of her fists and suit jacket. Her work uniform was a three piece suit, a blue tie and a vulture pin on the lapel of the suit jacket. When she was sure it was clean, she walked with Cristiana toward the bar. "Do you own that place?" she asked.
Cristiana: "Which one? I own the wedding shop inside the 8th dimension mall but not anything else on this side of town. I don't own a lot of buildings! Three of my stores and the club!" She chuckled like it was barely anything at all. "Unless you count the apartments, I have a lot of those around town. So if you ever need a place to stay, let me know!"
Paige: "Thank you," she whispered. "Mr. Groom is the same way." Her employer owned many buildings. When they arrived at the club, Paige stayed nearby instead of sitting down.
Cristiana: "Mr. Groom... that name sounds familiar." She waved over the bartender asking for two Whiskey's holding the sour. It was the end of the day for her but not nearly time for bed, she had a few hours yet. "So why did you look like that when .... you know, you did that in the alleyway?"
Paige: "I'm not sure what you mean," she rasped just above a whisper, "I can't see myself in a mirror to know how I look." For all she knew, she was hideous. She had felt ugly even as a human.
Cristiana: She leaned in closer, "Like you were sorry you did it. You should never be sorry for killing someone." As she said it, the bartender came back with the drinks looking at her with a sour expression but knew better to say a word.
Paige: "I was not sorry," Paige whispered and took a sip of the drink. Then she looked at Cristiana. "I thought that you were going to scold me." She had been punished so much for being unable to control her violent and dangerous behavior, that she thought everyone felt the same about it.
Cristiana: "Why would I do that?" She chuckled sipping her drink. "It's not like another one of those humans isn't being born right now. This earth is over populated as it is. People die, so what." She said shrugging. "Do you think I have never killed anyone! Oh hunny... sometimes you have to do what you need to do."
Paige: She nodded. It sounded simple, but "But I must be careful not to be caught. My sire says I am reckless."
Cristiana: She laughed, "You shoould see me when I am mad! Now there is a sight! .... last time I flew into a rage I killed, 8.. maybe 9. I can't remember the exact number. Right in the middle of Cedar Court. I sent other humans running for their life!"
Paige: Paige smirked. "I prefer to kill them in their homes," she admitted. There was nothing quite so gratifying to Paige as using uninvited guest to violate the safety and security of peoples' homes.
Cristiana: "Well I don't have that gift... yet." She laughed. "but that is a good way to do it. Now imagine, me in a tizzy over the lastest thing and flying off the handle as i so often do... then killing the nearest human, letting their blood drench me and walking down the street. First one to say something gets a knife slitting their throat. Ahhh good times."
Paige: Paige licked her lips and growled happily at the thought. She could imagine the woman covered in blood and baring her teeth after ending a dozen lives. After a moment she whispered "If you ever need, I can drag someone out of their home for you."
Cristiana: "Hmmm.... " she got a deliciously wicked idea going on inside her head. "Or just unlock the door for me. Although... I do draw the line at children. I won't harm one. Let's go find a yuppie couple!" she slammed the glass down on the table ready for action.
Paige: Paige had to finish her glass quickly, then she rose and walked with Cristiana again. She was careful to move her feet as though she weren't levitating a fraction above the ground. It was unnoticable to humans anyway. "What is a yuppie?"
Cristiana: "Oh a rich stuck up piece of crap who thinks they are better then everyone else, living in a nice house fooling everyone around them into being something more important then they are. So you know, like me only human version." She laughed nudging her shoulder heading in the direction for Cedar Court. It was one of her favorite places to torment humans.
Paige: Paige stalked the sidewalk. She had done this a number of times, and knew what to look for. "A small car. And no toys in the yard. Perhaps... wine bottles in the garbage." She sniffed the air and glared at every house thoughtfully.
Cristiana: Cristiana stopped at one of the houses, after inserting a key she motioned Paige over, "Hey hold up, I want to grab something." She went through the house in the dark like it was well known to her. She grabbed a battery operated screw driver and handheld saw. "I think these will do nicely!"
Paige: Paige studied the tools quietly, then nodded as she hungrily thought of them cutting into soft flesh and cracking bone. The raven-haired vampire was so excited that she forgot not to levitate.
Cristiana: She chuckled, "Anything else you can think to grab out of my garage? Some rope or duct tape? I fix cars here so I pretty much have anything you need." She said stepping out into the night mentally taking note of the surrounding houses. Some were other vampires. Finally she looked out pointing to a house just across the lawn. "Those people just moved in. No kids funiture or beds. That one might be a good place to start."
