--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Paige: Paige had been trying to find Harper's Playground and visit the wraith Danicus, but she had gotten lost along the way. She proceeded to take her frustrations out on the nearest human, who she dragged into an alley and threw against a wall.

Cristiana: Cristiana was just leaving work at the club when she seen Paige snatch the human. Her brow rose, she followed taking off her high heels to be quieter as she watched to see what Paige would do.

Paige: Paige was not torturing the human so much as breaking it apart against the brick wall until its face was unrecognizeable. She let the corpse fall and licked the back of her hand, orange eyes narrowed childishly. She hated this search. She hated the wraith, and she hadn't even met them.

Cristiana: "My my Paige, fancy meeting you in this lone dark alley." She said stepping out from the shadow cast from the ending of the light of the streetlamp. "Things not going your way tonight?" She said stepping over the bloodied male.

Paige: Paige levitated backward a foot or so, then stopped. She had nothing to be guilty of, she shouldn't retreat. Besides, she still had that tarot card in the pocket of her work uniform. The woman who had been thoughtful enough to gift it to her after the Mardi Gras party would not harm her. "I'm afraid not," she whispered. "Cristiana."

Cristiana: Crissy leaned against the wall, not caring what was rubbing against the arm of her coat as she lit a cigarette she pulled from her pocket, "What seems to be the trouble?"

Paige: "I couldn't find a building," she stated and looked down at the disfigured body. It was already getting cold and hard. She had a remorseless look in her eyes.

Cristiana: She glanced down following her eyes then looked back up to her, there was no remorse or pity in her eyes. "Hunny, it was fate he died tonight. Don't look so blue. Now what building were you looking for?" Said the woman who looked and acted so much like a human she could blend right in and also employed as many of them as she was allowed.

Paige: She felt a little better and relaxed, orange eyes softening as she looked at the woman. She whispered "Harper's Play...ground..."

Cristiana: She rose a brow at her, "Well the club is right over there." She motioned toward Wickbridge then pointed south of the club, "And the mall, 8th Dimension is right oover there. Next building, the desolate area over behind the mall, That is Harper Rock Playland. Is that the place you are looking for?"

Paige: She nodded gently and rubbed her fist, then lowered her levitating self to the ground as much as she could. She would go to the club first and get a drink. She didn't have the energy anymore. It was almost as if she had spent it beating someone to a bloody pulp.

Cristiana: She took out a wipie pad and handed it to her. "Here clean off the blood and I will take you over to the club, get you something warm like Whiskey in your belly." She shrugged out of her jacket and offered it over too.

Paige: "You read my mind," she whispered gratefully and wiped the coagulated blood off of her fists and suit jacket. Her work uniform was a three piece suit, a blue tie and a vulture pin on the lapel of the suit jacket. When she was sure it was clean, she walked with Cristiana toward the bar. "Do you own that place?" she asked.

Cristiana: "Which one? I own the wedding shop inside the 8th dimension mall but not anything else on this side of town. I don't own a lot of buildings! Three of my stores and the club!" She chuckled like it was barely anything at all. "Unless you count the apartments, I have a lot of those around town. So if you ever need a place to stay, let me know!"

Paige: "Thank you," she whispered. "Mr. Groom is the same way." Her employer owned many buildings. When they arrived at the club, Paige stayed nearby instead of sitting down.

Cristiana: "Mr. Groom... that name sounds familiar." She waved over the bartender asking for two Whiskey's holding the sour. It was the end of the day for her but not nearly time for bed, she had a few hours yet. "So why did you look like that when .... you know, you did that in the alleyway?"

Paige: "I'm not sure what you mean," she rasped just above a whisper, "I can't see myself in a mirror to know how I look." For all she knew, she was hideous. She had felt ugly even as a human.

Cristiana: She leaned in closer, "Like you were sorry you did it. You should never be sorry for killing someone." As she said it, the bartender came back with the drinks looking at her with a sour expression but knew better to say a word.

Paige: "I was not sorry," Paige whispered and took a sip of the drink. Then she looked at Cristiana. "I thought that you were going to scold me." She had been punished so much for being unable to control her violent and dangerous behavior, that she thought everyone felt the same about it.

Cristiana: "Why would I do that?" She chuckled sipping her drink. "It's not like another one of those humans isn't being born right now. This earth is over populated as it is. People die, so what." She said shrugging. "Do you think I have never killed anyone! Oh hunny... sometimes you have to do what you need to do."

Paige: She nodded. It sounded simple, but "But I must be careful not to be caught. My sire says I am reckless."

Cristiana: She laughed, "You shoould see me when I am mad! Now there is a sight! .... last time I flew into a rage I killed, 8.. maybe 9. I can't remember the exact number. Right in the middle of Cedar Court. I sent other humans running for their life!"

Paige: Paige smirked. "I prefer to kill them in their homes," she admitted. There was nothing quite so gratifying to Paige as using uninvited guest to violate the safety and security of peoples' homes.

Cristiana: "Well I don't have that gift... yet." She laughed. "but that is a good way to do it. Now imagine, me in a tizzy over the lastest thing and flying off the handle as i so often do... then killing the nearest human, letting their blood drench me and walking down the street. First one to say something gets a knife slitting their throat. Ahhh good times."

Paige: Paige licked her lips and growled happily at the thought. She could imagine the woman covered in blood and baring her teeth after ending a dozen lives. After a moment she whispered "If you ever need, I can drag someone out of their home for you."

Cristiana: "Hmmm.... " she got a deliciously wicked idea going on inside her head. "Or just unlock the door for me. Although... I do draw the line at children. I won't harm one. Let's go find a yuppie couple!" she slammed the glass down on the table ready for action.

Paige: Paige had to finish her glass quickly, then she rose and walked with Cristiana again. She was careful to move her feet as though she weren't levitating a fraction above the ground. It was unnoticable to humans anyway. "What is a yuppie?"

Cristiana: "Oh a rich stuck up piece of crap who thinks they are better then everyone else, living in a nice house fooling everyone around them into being something more important then they are. So you know, like me only human version." She laughed nudging her shoulder heading in the direction for Cedar Court. It was one of her favorite places to torment humans.

Paige: Paige stalked the sidewalk. She had done this a number of times, and knew what to look for. "A small car. And no toys in the yard. Perhaps... wine bottles in the garbage." She sniffed the air and glared at every house thoughtfully.

Cristiana: Cristiana stopped at one of the houses, after inserting a key she motioned Paige over, "Hey hold up, I want to grab something." She went through the house in the dark like it was well known to her. She grabbed a battery operated screw driver and handheld saw. "I think these will do nicely!"

Paige: Paige studied the tools quietly, then nodded as she hungrily thought of them cutting into soft flesh and cracking bone. The raven-haired vampire was so excited that she forgot not to levitate.
Cristiana: She chuckled, "Anything else you can think to grab out of my garage? Some rope or duct tape? I fix cars here so I pretty much have anything you need." She said stepping out into the night mentally taking note of the surrounding houses. Some were other vampires. Finally she looked out pointing to a house just across the lawn. "Those people just moved in. No kids funiture or beds. That one might be a good place to start."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Paige: Paige went into the garage and emerged with a soldering iron, which she handed to Cristiana. "I will be right back," she whispered. She slipped in through the humans' window, then unlocked the front door and left it open, thus inviting Cristiana in. At least, she supposed that was how it would work. She had never done this before, and was salivating with excitement.

Cristiana: Crissy motioned her back outside. "Hold on I want to show you something." She made sure the door was locked. "Now hold your hand on the knob and use your mind and will to unlock it...." She didn't need to be crawling threw a window.

Paige: Paige closed her eyes and with her mind commanded the door to unlock. She heard the click and pushed it open. Fascinating. With a soft growl, she levitated inside.

Cristiana: *she followed inside with a devious smirk on her face* Now see, so much easier, right?

Paige: The house was completely dark. There were some empty wine bottles on the counter, just as Cristiana had predicted. The vampire's orange eyes glowed with dark purpose as she surveyed the silent home with a nod. The couple was sleeping heavily in the master bedroom. The other bedroom was an office. After she had staked everything out, Paige started flipping on lights.

Cristiana: *while Paige looked around she jumped up and sat on the counter in the kitchen, watching her go from room to room with the open concept of the kitchen to the est of the house. She leaned over grabbing a knife out of the holder. When Paige stopped, a knife made a soft thud into the wall beside her. Crissy just smiled*

Paige: Paige raised an eyebrow at the other vampire. She was smiling so sweetly, it seemed like this was her way of playing, not trying to actually stab her or piss her off. With a soft growl she took the knife, then walked slowly across the kitchen and past Crissy. The suit-clad vampire took a second knife, looked at Crissy, then took a third knife. She then began juggling the knives, having fun in the humans' lit up kitchen. The humans' lives were hers, so their kitchen was hers.

Cristiana: OOhhhhh now that's a trick. *as she juggled, Crissy reached over grabbing knife after knife. One second they were in her hand, next there was an outline on the wall behind Paige of where her body stood.* I think, when we wake them up, I should play with them.

Paige: Impressed, Paige nodded and stopped juggling. Drunks hated light, and they would be awake soon wondering why every light in the house was on. "Shall I wake them?" she whispered. She was fine with playing and taking her time, but would hurry it up if Cristiana was ready.

Cristiana: ... set a fire. *she said reaching up into a cabinet grabbing the vegetable oil. Her eyes fell to the stove* That aught to wake them up pretty quick.

Paige: Paige watched her pour the vegetable oil out onto the stove. The tumbler reached out and turned the stove on. They could have fun with them before they died of smoke inhilation too. Soon the smoke alarm was screaming, a fire was roaring on the stove, and the humans were stumbling drunkenly out of their room.

Cristiana: *Crissy jumped off the counter tossing the bottle of oil at the door before they came running into the room. The couple started screaming, more at them then the fire. She smiled looking at the two.* Oh Do Shut Up! *she said, oddly they did. They stood staring at her. She looked to the husband and put the drill in his hand* Now make sure that hole is in her head. .... the male nodded heading toward his wives head with the drill.

Paige: To Paige's surprise, the humans were complacent as cows. How was she making the man drill into his wife's brain? Engrossed, Paige stared as the woman jerked and siezed beneath the other human as the drill whirred and the house filled with smoke. She pulled the male away after a few moments of this. The soldering iron had been plugged into an outlet on the kitchen counter. She gouged his eyes with it, smirking at his screams.

Cristiana: *revving up the saw she came over telling him to stop screaming. He did, his voice failed him even though his mouth moved. She began with his feet, cutting them off first. She looked to Paige as she tossed the left foot to him* Catch!

Paige: Paige caught it and began throwing it up and down. Blood flew everywhere, including on her and her suit. She didn't seem to mind. "I like it when they scream," she whispered, but she didn't know if Crissy heard beyond the roar of the fire.
Cristiana: *she cut off the other one then took him to the fire carrying him like he was nothing. She rested his feet or lack there of into the flames* I must carterize the wounds right away Nurse..

Paige: She juggled the two feet and sniffed the air. It was like hell in there. Paige was sweating, but she didn't need to breathe. Fire was slowly filling the house, and so was the scent of roasting human flesh. She watched Doctor Cristiana work.

Cristiana: *grabbing the last knife in the holder she cut off his shirt and began surgery* Paige do you remember which one was the small intestine? *the smoke didn't seem to be bothering her*

Paige: Paige shook her head no, then realized Crissy was paying attention to the man's insides. "No," she whispered and stepped close behind her. She leaned over her shoulder to stare, then reached into the hole she had made so she could try and find it. "Here."

Cristiana: *she ripped the wound wider, wide enough his entire gut was showing* No, that's the large intestine. Right down here by the bowels is the small intestine. And this.... *She stabbed the knife sharply into it* Is the kindey. When you hit this in a fight ... they go down quickly.

Paige: Paige was familiar with the kidneys, and she nodded. "I used to be a paladin. I know the organs," she whispered softly. The Russian girl put a hand on Crissy's shoulder. "We should go."

Cristiana: *she nodded, then swept up her weapons. In the blink of an eye she was waiting by the doorway,* Waiting on you dear... *Crissy was covered in the darkened sut but barely seemed to notice*

Paige: Paige hurried after her. There were sirens in the distance, someone must have called the fire department. Stinking of smoke, she made her way back to The Metronome. "How did you do that earlier," she rasped. "That man listened to you like a puppet."

Cristiana: *she fell into a chair, knowing the people would be working to clean up after sending the customers home for the night. She waved for them to get a few drinks* It's one of my gifts. I can do it to you too. My favorite one to do it to was Micah. He'd start to sing...

Paige: "If you make me sing, I will hurt you," she warned her and a worker came with a couple of tinted glasses filled with heated blood. They had colored straws in them. Paige sipped and stared at Crissy. She realized that she had made a friend.

Cristiana: *Crissy took a sip then looked at the girl like seriously. She passed the glass to Paige* *****, I want my whiskey straight up. You know my bottles or do I need to remind you. *the girl went away in tears rubbing her hand like it hurt but nothing was there, no trace of blood or hint of a sore*

Paige: Paige took the second glass. "How is it that you can have whiskey?" she asked. She had never heard of allurists before. Paige herself was a shadow.

Cristiana: I can drink and eat like a normal human. I can even taste it. I don't drink blood unless I have to. We allurist can do a lot...

Paige: "Allurist," she mused. "I see. Interesting." Her orange eyes studied Crissy for a moment before she lowered them and took another sip from her straw.

Cristiana: But, *she leaned in close. One finger extended from herside of the table out toward paige, the elongated finger barely pricked Paige when the spot welled with blood.* Sorry, I was about to say I act more like a killer at times. It's been worse since I merged bridges.

Paige: Paige licked up her black blood. She hated her blood, it made her feel as though she did not actually exist, like she was a projection rather than a reality. "That is why I have been trying to find Danicus." The wraith had been eluding her.

Cristiana: I can see them as well. *she said softly as the bartender brought her the drink backing away slowly when Crissy's eyes shot toward her* Why is it you are trying to find him?

Paige: "I heard that he can teach you new abilities... I wish to learn so I can kill paladins better," the young vampire said just above a whisper. With blood in her mutilated throat, she could better speak, and it was apparent that she had a heavy Russian accent, though she was raspy and seemed physically uncomfortable to speak above a whisper.

Cristiana: Oh that one. Is he a new one or something? I ... don't remember him. You kids and killing those paladins. *she shook her head* One of these days they will rise up and stalk from house to house..

Paige: "Let them come, I will tear them apart," she growled and instinctively reached for her sword, which she hadn't brought.

Cristiana: *she waved a hand* Yes yes, always ready to fight. You really need to learn when to fight and when to stand down. ... like now, stand down..

Paige: Paige relaxed and leaned back. That did feel good, but it was a dirty trick. At least it felt better to relax. Paige regarded her and asked "When the paladins come, you will stand down?”

Cristiana: No, I will beat them into a bloody mound leaving them pissing themselves. But... it doesn't mean I have to fret about it now. I train, and work, and train.. and kill.

Paige: "I cannot just simply make myself stop fretting," she insisted softly. "I wish that it was that simple." There were instincts within her she sometimes lost control of. It had been getting better since she got a job, but sometimes it felt pointless.

Cristiana: I think it is easier when you have other things to distract you. I never seen the point of constantly thinking there was someone out to get you, because if you think about it the only person really out to get you is yourself. With negative thinking. *she sipped her drink slowly* And the cops if they ever figure out it was us.

Paige: "They might," she grumbled, "We left their bones behind. The detached limbs will be incriminating, and the puncture wound in the woman." She didn't seem very concerned. She felt better after all of that.
