<Peter Parkman> What's your opinion on friendship with humans?
<Enver Marshall> Humans? Depends I guess. Most of them are alright. I don't mind them any. Why, what's up?
<Peter Parkman> Well I still consider myself human, for the most part. And yet feel like I need to distance myself from a specific one for... reasons.
<Enver Marshall> Well, we are still human. In a sense. But if you need to distance yourself from anyone, human or vampire, doubt it has to do with the fact it's because they're human or vampire. Might be a gut reaction to being around them. They do something to you?
<Peter Parkman> No. Just things Keara has said. Can't see how a legitimate friendship would work with a human if they can't know what I am.
<Enver Marshall> Well, truth be told does anyone really know what or who someone is? Take me. I'm one person for work, then another outside work and another around Keara. That sounds bad, but it's not. I find running my businesses to work best when I'm professional, but once outside of work and with Keara, that aspect of me usually drops. See what I mean? What has Keara said, exactly?
<Peter Parkman> Alright. So it's fine if she sees that I bleed blood that looks like something out of a horror film, or that I have to drink blood, or that I burn to a crisp in the sun? It's cool that she knows I'm never warm because I'm a vampire?
<Enver Marshall> Think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself there, kiddo. There's really no hurry to go around spouting off to this person that you're a vampire. It's one of those scenarios where you've got to sort of feel out. Some humans can be trusted with that information and some can't. Simple as that. Just like some people can be trusted to know about your past and some can't. Not much different, I reckon.
<Peter Parkman> So you think it's fine, then? If I trust her, to tell her? And she won't be killed, or forced to be ...turned?
<Enver Marshall> My suggestion is pretty simple, truth be told. Take her some place where there's some weird **** going on. Maybe the QZ or the catacombs. If she;s been here long enough, she'll have adapted or noticed something isn't all that right about this place. See how she handles whatever weird **** you show her that doesn't have anything to do with you. If she does alright, give it a few days and key word here, slowly introduce her to something about yourself. You can't just go around showing off your fangs and feasting in front of her and expect her to be alright with it. So start small. And I'm not going to kill her, unless she becomes a problem. Meaning, she tries to kill you. And I'm not looking to sire anyone, most of all a woman. Have you met my wife?
<Peter Parkman> She's already seen a fadebeast. She already knows something's wrong with this city. She already knows there's something wrong with me. I told her I wouldn't say. That I couldn't. That it might put the both of us in danger. She hasn't pushed for more information.
<Enver Marshall> What do you mean she knows there's something wrong with you? There ain't really anything wrong with you, Peter. You know that, yeah? But what do you think she knows?
<Peter Parkman> I'm not sure if you've met me, Enver. I'm not the best at being suave in front of other people. She hinted at 'liking' me. I told her I couldn't. For reasons.
<Enver Marshall> You couldn't like her back? Well, no wonder she thinks there's something wrong with you. Especially if she's not half bad looking. You know, if you like her back, which it's alright to, I could always let Crash go back to ******* around and take her in my employment. It'd be no big deal.
<Peter Parkman> I've vowed to never have sex again. I don't think it's going to work.
<Enver Marshall> Why's that? Were you a priest at some point in your life?
<Peter Parkman> No. I've been informed that if I impregnate someone a monster will tear itself out of their gut. Fatal to a human. I'm not sure I'm willing to take the risk.
<Peter Parkman> What's your opinion on friendship with humans?
