~A quick summary of events thus far~

With your permission, I would like to humbly reintroduce Vasik, the Prince of Demons.

Vasik is not kind, nor is he negotiable, pleasant, or just. Why would someone take interest in a saint of madness?

Because, somewhere deep inside that crude, jagged mind, lies an innocent boy, still human in a vampiric shell. His name is Logan, and he is the true foil of all that is Vasik, the true “owner” of their body, and the true end to all that Vasik is and will be.

These boys battle for their right to exist in this fiery-headed, whiskey-eyed vehicle and to use it to their ideals, but each act of their own contradicts the other, leading to a never-ending cycle of strife. While Logan starves himself, blood lets, and sells blood to blood thieves, Vasik hungers and preys on innocent human lives.

The first days after their siring, Vasik arose from Logan as suddenly and powerful as a car wreck. Frenzied on confusion and lust for power, Vasik fed, [censored], and killed dozens of women, actions which lead Logan to be suicidal. Vasik’s zealous frenzy subsided in time, bringing about Vasik’s true nature.

Vasik believes that he is a prince from a land of fantasy, a prince that was once endowed with the power to control demons of shadow and molten earth. He believes he has been transported after death to a new realm with a body of potential, one that can rule as it did in his previous world. He believes he is innately superior and destined to be absolute ruler.

But when Vasik finds comfort in a mouse after a nightmare, he finds himself accompanied by another, what he and Logan refer to as “The Mirror.”

The Mirror can manifest itself in a look-alike body in Vasik’s mind, invisible to others but very much a physical threat to himself. The Mirror calls himself a tutor to better Vasik in his conquest for strength, but whenever he shows weakness, The Mirror drives Vasik to cruel acts or beats him severely. However, when this is witnessed, it is seen that Vasik is merely abusing himself. This was witnessed by Paige, his temporary roommate. Vasik and Logan search for ways to exorcize themselves from the demon within them and from each other, from death to rituals.

Catherine Nilson, Vasik’s sire, wishes to help preserve Logan and Vasik by dispelling The Mirror and finding a way for them to live separately or in peace. To do this, Paige was drafted for the task of watching Vasik and to overview any episodes with The Mirror. Although they grew close after hunting together, Vasik was driven by The Mirror to punish Paige violently and humiliatingly after suggesting to Logan that they research rituals to banish Vasik from their body. The result was catastrophic.

Vasik often finds solitude in his venue, The Lions Den, named for his Leo zodiac and obsession with felines, where he can exercise control, charisma, and leadership while enjoying women, music, and drink. Vasik often occupies the body because of this since Logan sees it as a compromise for him not spending more time stealing and killing.

Vasik’s ultimate goal is to learn to become the most superior vampire and to lead others in his path, but he knows he is too weak to carry out such deeds. In the meantime, he establishes connections, loots, and grows a stockpile to foster a healthy environment for his future, supported by The Mirror, whose identity is yet to be known.

Logan, on the other hand, is sweet, quiet, and in denial of his current status as a vampire. He starves, attempts suicide, and sells his blood in attempts to slow Vasik down. With his suicidal tendencies, it makes it difficult not to explore death to separate the personalities, but Vasik and Catherine will not allow it. Doc, however, his grandsire, fully supports this idea, even though there is a risk for failure since the body of a killer is the same one possessed even after death.

Still, Logan uses his very infrequent time to get to know the brood, sketch, and make peace with all Vasik has done in their past. He dare not provoke The Mirror any more, for he supports the eradication of Logan.

This is the story of the trio of madness.

Vasik slumped into his familiar old abode, the abandoned shop. Blood and glass littered the floors and glistened the walls, just as he had left it. But a second look in the unlit room revealed caked-on graffiti over the stains. Vasik wasn't sure to mourn, feel violated, or feel liberated. It was a sign he must move on.
He lifted up the abused, over-turned couch, coated in mysterious stains from the occasional "passerby." Avoiding these stains, he sat on the far end, slouched back, and stared out the once boarded up (lack of a) window.
A being without breath was he, but he mustered a sigh from deep within his lungs, no misty cloud, for his body was sharply cold. The air was so frigid, he felt ice crystals forming around his bluing lips, an unusual clash with his deep-red hair.
As he rest his right arm on the arm of the sofa, he felt a light tickle and movement brush against his hairs. It was his familiar friend, the little grey mouse.
Did he still feel protected by such a frail beast? That one day, that dreadful nightmare was halted by the power of this totem. But alas, he was a Leo, a lion of darkness. He heard the Mirror stir within him...
"Crush it..."
Vasik bared all his pointed teeth, the Lion's Jaws, and growled in anger. He should have never come here. The sharp fangs gritted and ground.
"Look how terrible you've grown. I can't say I'm proud, but I am pleased."
Vasik was taken aback. Something was different... He lifted his hands to feel his teeth. They were all edged like shark's teeth, frightful in appearance. This had never happened before. Logan brooded within them, but Vasik grinned at the monster he was becoming. He had noticed he was taller, stronger, fiercer; all the traits of a growing killer.
Maybe he would surpass his own sire. The thought made him chuckle madly in delight, but the Mirror jutted him back into reality.
"Now... CRUSH IT."
Vasik's giggling came to a halt at the Mirror's command. His face turned down as the tiny rodent sniffed around his lap. He picked her up in his razor claws.
She showed no fear.
Vasik stopped for a moment. Why was this little creature such a threat? A corner of his mouth raised, feeling deep in his gut he was on to something in the identity and weaknesses of the Mirror.
Slowly, echoing whispers crowded his mind, causing a sharp, crippling pain.
"Ugh!" He gripped his head, tugging at his hair a little for relief with his free hand. The whispers grew gradually louder until they were screams and yells. "KILL IT," it shouted repeatedly until it blasted in his ears.
"AGHHH!" Vasik clenched the mouse and threw her out the window, missing the broken boards. He stood up suddenly, as if worried, listening for any signs of life. There was nothing.
He scoffed at himself in nervousness. How could he hear a mouse in the snow, several yards away? His eyebrows furrowed down as his eyes widened in fear and confusion.
Fear?! He felt no fear! Not for a mouse, ha! He was the prince of demons!! A mouse and a lion, what a fateful tease. Still, shaken, he rushed out of the building, not looking in the direction of the window.

The next night, the Mirror possessed the young man to become an arsonist. As the blazes burned the place to the ground, he would not look back.
