Make It Interesting [Myk]

Post by Vasik (DELETED 5042) »

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Vasik: Vasik sequesters himself into the sewers for dawn. there, just at the entrance, he eyes Myk. "Hey babe."
Myk: “Well hello there,” he purrs. “You know, I was thinking... “
Vasik: "As we often do..."
Myk: “Yes, but I was thinking specifically about you...”
Vasik: "Is that true? What about me, hmm?"
Myk: “I wonder if it's our lack of... familiarity... so to speak, that keeps me as interested as I am in you. I wonder, that if I were to learn more about you, that my affections for you would... change.”
Vasik: "I'm a very... interesting person. I'm sure I can reel you in." Vasik winks with confidence.
Myk: “What makes you so sure, hmm?”
Vasik: "I can see it in your eyes. Your beautiful, longing eyes."
Myk: He smirks at the comment, then draws a sharp finger along the other man's chest. “So tell me something interesting about you.”
Vasik: Vasik smiles. "Well, for one, I'm a prince."
Myk: “Royalty, hmm?” he says, brushing a fang against his chin. “Prince of what?”
Vasik: "A prince of demons..." Vasik grabs Myk's chin and looks into eyes* "...and a prince of you, if you'll have me."
Myk: “You want to possess me?” His eyes look a little dangerous.
Vasik: "Not possess, rule. I want to rule you. You bring out the hunger in me, and I must have you."
Myk: He chuckles lightly, jerking his head away. “What's the difference?”
Vasik: "The difference is you aren't an item. To possess someone entails they are an object. To rule someone is so much more. To rule a person means you can bend their will, to control a soul rather than own an object. Ruling is power, conquering, not simply ownership." The fiery-headed boy flips around and whispers in his ear. "I want to conquer you."
Myk: Chills run up his spine against the heat of the man's breath, he smiles but tries to suppress it. “Oh... is that all...” He softly retreats into the other man's chest, his hands trailing Vasik's hips. “I can be hard to control... Are you sure you could conquer me?”
Vasik: The prince's hips buck gently at the touch, but almost unnoticeably. " Positive." He starts to nibble Myk's ear and growl seductively.
Myk: Myk eases forward, just out of range of those teeth on his earlobe. “Mmhmm...”
Vasik: Infuriated by his denied pleasure-seeking, Vasik straddles the young man in a flash, takes his hand on Myk's lower back to force themselves together, and grabs the siren's hair with his free hand, yanking his head back to reveal his neck. Fangs trace the hills and valleys of the beauty's muscles, followed by a gliding tongue, wet with hunger.
Myk: The movement, as well as the speed, catches Myk by surprise. He pulls his best victimised expression, but his skin is overcome with goose bumps. As the other man draws his tongue over his neck, he rears upward, bearing more skin - offering it.
Vasik: Gentle kisses make its way down the clavicle, tracing between the pecs towards the bellybutton. His hands move slowly below Myk's waist, cradling the delicate frame.
Myk: As the man makes his way down Myk's body, Myk groans and gasps - making all the appropriate noises. His hands, meanwhile, edge toward the dagger on the back of his belt. He jerks forward as he unsheathes it, craftily bringing it between them and thrusting upward.

Myk: [[You slash at Vasik, and they raise their arm to defend themselves. Your knife cuts deeply into their forearm.]]
Vasik: "Ah! You little *****...," he says with a smile. "Look at the mess you've made... now clean it up." Vasik forces the forearm wound into Myk's lips, smearing the blood across his face, using his free hand to hold the armed boy's wrist in the air against the wall.
Myk: Myk cannot restrain the laughter and chortles even as the wrist, pouring with blood, is forced against his face. The hot liquid smears against his lips, his cheeks, growing ice cold and uncomfortable within seconds. It snakes into his mouth, lining the inside like a varnish, but he still can't stop himself from laughing.
Vasik: Vasik lets out a low chuckle. "I rather like you." He admired Myk's slight insanity; it reminded him of his first few days after being sired. He released his arm from the boy's now filthy visage, black and red smeared and staining his loose hair strings.
Myk: Freed, Myk returns the dagger to his belt and paws at his face; the blood and the make-up mix like Pablo Picasso's paint palette. He approaches the other man, dropping his head to bring his forehead against the other's and then, like an overly affectionate cat, he nuzzles the man's face and licks the whole right side - eyeball and all.
Vasik: Vasik pet the grooming feline, running his clawed fingers delicately through the fair creature's hair. Vasik loved cats, had an immense affinity for them. His Leo sign dictated it so. Ferocious predators, entitled beasts, a thing of poise and beauty. Perhaps Myk was meant for him, at least as a pet. Contemplating the idea, Vasik grinned a smile most foul.
Myk: A customary purr reverberates in the back of Myk's throat. It seems so oddly affectionate and yet, so casual. Perhaps that was the best way to describe their relationship - casual. Myk rests his body against the wall, his long hair threading through the other man's clawed grasp. He smiles proudly because he doesn't know how much of a state he looks, but he takes a glimpse at Vasik's arm and stops. "Doesn't hurt, does it?"
Vasik: Vasik bellowed a chaotic cackle. "Hurt? This little thing? I wish it did, then I could finally geat some true pleasure." He growled in a low hum, smiling gleefully. He took his petting hand and traced Myks' face, pulling hair behind his blood-crusted ear.
Myk: Myk's head cants of its own volition. "You... like pain, do you?" All this time he'd assumed the man brought pain rather than took it.
Vasik: "Pain is an element of chaos. Those who inflict pain understand its power to enchant and destroy. True weilders of pain can manipulate it to bring them pleasure and others torment. Those who are hurt by pain are simply unenlightened. It is a tool, a weapon, and a gift." Vasik closed his eyes to focus his energy on the wound, absorbing its fullness and entirety, nerve by nerve.
Myk: Myk hums softly to himself, the corners of his lips curling. "How enlightening... You're right then. You are full of interesting things."
Vasik: "I won't let you down." Vasik plants a soft kiss on Myk's forehead at the seat of the third eye chakra. He snuggled down beside the boy, awaiting the moonlight to return.

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"

Myk: He spots the man across the catacombs, approaching quietly. "Hello... You found your way here, that's good. How do you like it?"
Vasik: Vasik seems out of sorts lately, expressing that as he walks up to him and looks downwards. "It's alright. Killing helps take things off my mind."
Myk: He hums gently, his concern evident. Awkwardly, he begins to twirl a lock of hair around his fingers; the black nail varnish and the bone coloured hair dance eerily against one another. "So... what's on your mind then?"
Vasik: "It's nothing," Vasik evaded. "How's my little doll?" He reeled him in close, rubbing his back.
Myk: The hug is nice, he likes the scent, it calms him somewhat, but he moves prematurely out of the embrace, stepping back to gain a stranger's distance. "I'm fine," he lies. He smirks, pewter eyes looking to similar hues of grey in the floor. "We are both fine and dandy, hmm..."
Vasik: Vasik's instincts seemed confused. He never really cared for anyone like this creature, and he didn't know quite how to respond, even though he could smell Myk's discontent. The cut-off embrace made Vasik fumble, awkwardly stand alone. He scratched his head. "I'm sorry, I don't know how to... do these things. I know something's wrong, and you have to tell me, because I'm not one for prying." It was true. If he had to pry, it meant it was too much effort and he generally shouldn't care, but why did he now?
Myk: Myk lifts his head and smiles genuinely. Vasik is so terribly adorable, he thinks to himself, and so terribly brave, straight-forward. It's rare for people to be so honest, he likes that the man doesn't beat around the bush... so much. Myk decides to reward him... somewhat. "Oh, it's nothing really..." He waves his hand as if to waft away the seriousness of it all. "Part and parcel of being crazy... nothing to worry about. I just... well, I had a strange dream is all... Strange enough to make me..." Oh damn, he nearly let the cat out of the bag. "Uh, well, nevermind!" he laughs.
Vasik: "Strange enough to make you what..." Vasik was slightly irritated by the need for digging, but the nervous laugh made him worry. Him, worry? Hah! That was a laugh. "I will not never mind." He reached out to put a hand on Myk's shoulder, a symbol of reassurance.
Myk: "Hypocrite," Myk says with a devious grin.
Vasik: "Hey... I'm allowed to be a hypocrite, because I..." He stopped himself short. To declare his feelings for Myk would definitely be a sentance to punishment and pain, for the both of them. This was tricky water he tread on. "Because I'm an *** like that." Good save.
Myk: He chuckles, somewhat maniacally - he couldn't really help that he cackled like a witch sometimes. "And what an arse you have," he grins again. He considered groping him, but ultimately decides against it. Regardless of how well the action would perform in deviating from their original discussion, he doesn't know how well it would be received by the other male...
Vasik: Vasik grins a little, but he knows that his prize is being evasive. "I know, I know... now what's really on your mind?"
Myk: "Oh, hell," he says almost as a growl. "Lots of things." Myk folds his arms and looks over his shoulder to no particular spot in the darkness. He can hear battles going on in the distance as they stand here talking as if they're at a coffee shop rather than deep under the ground where the undead engage each other in immortal combat.
Vasik: The echoes of bullets and clashing could not distract them further. Vasik was about to burst. He half growled. half yelled, then *****-slapped him across the cheek. "There's something on your mind in particular. I can feel it etching within you. Let it out, before I do." Vasik didn't mean for it to sound like a threat, but he was taken aback by his own words and anger and withdrew his hand swiftly.
Myk: Pain bristles hot across his cheek and he wakes from his daze to stare at Vasik as Vasik proceeds to shout at him. Without those lashing yells, Myk might have thought he'd been taken by surprise by a zombie or something, but instead he seems horrified and angry that the man dare touch him like that. Myk stands rigidly, his hands trembling a little, pewter eyes trembling a little too. His ear had caught a part of the blow and it was singing sharply, drowning out a few of the sounds in and outside his head. Then, Vasik threatens him and he loses it. "I dreamt you killed me." His voice, dead-serious and gravely sombre, silences those sounds in his head entirely.
Vasik: Vasik's eyebrows raised in surprise. No, this shouldn't be happening. Was this a premonition? A warning? Was this the workings of the Mirror? "It was just a dream, love." The words escaped like a soothing mother, but he wasn't sure if he said those words to comfort Myk or himself. "I would never do anything to hurt you like that," he struggled to say over the concerns in his mind. His hands started to reach out, but no, he needed distance. He felt Myk should reach out for him for physical comfort, but he wanted so badly to hold him, for him and himself included.
Myk: Myk rubs the burning cheek with the back of his hand, mirroring the actions of a cat as he not so much purrs, but grumbles under his breath. "Yeah, sure... you wouldn't hurt me, huh..." He sounds grumpy, but by the end of the sentence he's grinning and smirking again. It must look awfully amusing, the big red handprint across his pale as paper cheek and the fact that it hurt more than a gunshot was surprisingly hilarious to him. "I've been shot with less gusto than that slap," he mumbles. Myk lays his hand flat against his cheek, the chill was a relief.
Vasik: Vasik flinched. "S-sorry..." Vasik's growing killer body was just so difficult to measure in reaction. He had grown a couple of inches, he had noticed, and his strength was growing as well. "I really do care about you though." The words just escaped him. How could he do such a thing? He turned around, blushing a little, but muttering to himself. "What are you thinking? This is too much, you have to leave, now!"
Myk: Myk nods absently to the apology, seeming not entirely satisfied with it while all the time feeling happy that Vasik cares enough to say it. It wasn't an easy thing to do, apologise, hardly anyone would these days. Everyone was so happy to think they were right all the time, never needing to explain themselves or feel regret. Myk decides to show his forgiveness after the little confession, he approaches the other man, but Vasik quickly turns and blurts out something unexpected. Myk's head cants immediately, his brow furrows. "Leave?" He isn't entirely sure that Vasik is talking to him, which is an odd impression to get seeing as how there was no one else around. It seemed to him that those were the kind of words meant for one's self; call it intuition or instinct.
Vasik: "Yeah... sorry, I should probably go. Unless..." He hesitated for a moment. "You... want me to stay?" He wanted to be sure that Myk was taken care of, emotionally. He never cared for anyone's emotions. He frequently laughed at them, stepped on them, mocked them. What was wrong with him? He felt a voice rumble deep within him. "He is your weakness... cut it off!" He shook his head violently, dispelling the monster within.
Myk: "The company's nice," he says, his voice giving little away. As rudimentary as it was, it was also true that Myk liked this one. Only, it was hard to get attached and let others get attached to him. It never ended with confetti or doves or love songs, just heavy metal, alcohol and blood. Still, he doesn't want Vasik to just leave, he doesn't want to give him the wrong, or right, impression about the dream... "Relax," he coos, advancing cautiously. "It wasn't as nightmarish as I made it sound."
Vasik: "It must have bothered you some, I can smell it on you," he prods. "How come you're trying to calm me down? I must be sucking at this... thing." He didn't know what to call it. A relationship? The word was more than dangerous, it was a death sentence. Or was it? They had nicknames for each other, they didn't rely on just sex, they cuddled, oh god... No... No, no, no! Vasik started to reveal panic in his eyes. Was he... no, he couldn't even bring the words to his head. Another voice in his head, this time calm and sweet, urged him on. "You like him," it said. If Vasik's heart could beat, it would be pounding now. He shook his head again, flopping his vibrant, gelled hair around. "Sorry, kind of busy in my head. Do you want to talk about it a little?"
Myk: He chews his lip in thought of Vasik's first comment, only finding the time to hum a little before the question came and then that next statement flooded in. Myk blinks watching the panic suddenly well in the other man's eyes. He looks him over, checking for... something physical to explain it. Quizzes him telepathically for... well anything else. Then Vasik says something which makes him giggle. He nudges him with a gentle elbow, "I know the feeling," and winks. "It can be pretty noisy in my head too... so many thoughts... all at once... some of them... maybe they're not even mine," the last comment turns into a whisper. Myk steps lightly toward a wall, leaning his back against it and guiding himself into a seated position on the floor. He pats his hand on the ground beside him, it's damp, but it's not horrible. It might make for a funny image later, but Myk personally doesn't care. His pants are black anyway, much like the vest top he's wearing.
Vasik: Vasik made a hidden expression of disgust. The floors looked grimy and full of mildew, and he sure did love his clothes. It was a part of himself, a unit from his ego he must maintain, but... Something inside him wanted to not care, so he sat down at the gesture. He looked away and casually, yet awkwardly, wrapped his arm around Myk's neck, inviting him to lay his head on him. How could Vasik be this close before and look him in the eye, but not now? His motive wasn't just sex anymore, it was... connection. He longed for the silver-haired boy to be comforted by his touch, to lay on his chest or lap and find solace.

Myk: He settles into the gap the other man makes for him, albeit a little begrudgingly. His taller frame makes it a little difficult for him to sink under the other one's wing, so he shuffles across the floor to angle himself better. His head perches on Vasik's shoulder feather-like - he doesn't want to be a burden. Still, he knows he must do more than this to secure this one. "It alarmed you when I said you killed me in my dreams, no?" He glances up, reaching for amber eyes, but doesn't hesitate before speaking again. "I suppose it would... it's... err... normal... Je ne sais pas!"
Vasik: "Yeah... normal." He hesitantly looked down at the fair creature, whose hair like spun silver hung in the air like delicate cobwebs. "I just don't want such things to dwell on you. I can be... good." He never thought those words would ever escape his lips. Good? What is good? He supposed it was the definition of the bearer of such a word. Good for him would be to not harm Myk despite The Mirror. He settled with that in his mind, that good to him was being the best he could be towards Myk. The Mirror stirred in his mind, growling lowly in a near ancient hum. He started rubbing his hand up and down Myk's opposite shoulder, reassuring him.
Myk: "Good?" Myk turns his nose to the word. "Why bother with that when you can be... fantastic?" He giggles briefly, his eyes slowly becoming spellbound by the circuits his fingers made against the man's thigh. "Besides... I did not mean to sound like the dream had frightened me in anyway. I... rather found it... stimulating."
Vasik: Vasik's hair stood up. "Stimulating? How?" That gave some relief to the young man, but surprise nonetheless. He tried to remember back to when he was sired, the first death. But that was when he was born per se. He knew nothing before that except a land of "fantasy," one where he controlled demons and ruled with a clashing sword in his eyes. The siring was still hidden in his mind, muddled by the insanity that followed afterwards for some time. That was... stimulating. Perhaps death itself was not as bad as it seemed, but he knew the Shadow Realm... Then how was a dream of death so stimulating, especially brought on by someone so close?
Myk: "Stimulating for my thoughts..." Myk sighs then, seeming agitated. This was difficult for him to confess, he'd not shared his thoughts with anyone. As his mind goes to war with his will to speak, his fingers trail wispy circles toward Vasik's knee.
Vasik: The frustration grew within Vasik. He didn't understand, and he wanted to, now. But patience grew within him like a seed in his gut. He decided to back off, as painful as it was for him. "Well, I'm glad it wasn't all too bad. You don't have to say more if you don't want to." The delicate touch on his knee was stimulating as well... It tickled him, and delighted in the soft contact.
Myk: Should he say? Should he keep quiet? Logic fought hard for silence alongside fear and distrust, doubt, pride. Something more basic, and yet more powerful and mystical told him he should speak. It urged him to go, seducing logic to switch sides and tell him that a problem shared was a problem halved. "Oh, damn it all..." he groans at last. "I shall tell you, if you want to listen..." he grumbles, forcing every 's' sound into a hiss. "It's a lot, though... to say, to hear, to understand... you might get bored or... worse... disgusted with me."
Vasik: Vasik's ears twitched in enticement. "Disgusted? How could I ever be disgusted with my baby doll?" His... his doll. It was the first time he claimed ownership of the young man before him. That was a large milestone. Did he step too far? He took his free hand and caressed Myk's chin, sculpted by the hands of gods, skin as soft and smooth as rose petals. He finally relinquished his insecurity to look into his eyes. "If anyone here is disgusting, it's me. And you are by far one of the least boring people I know."
Myk: "Boring does not beget beauty," he whispers. "And beauty does not negate disgust..." He rolls his eyes immediately and turns his head to break the connection, but he knows his error. Chiding himself is hurting the one he... likes... cares about. "And you are not disgusting," he adds, looking back and canting his head a little. "Neither physically or... whatever." Myk reaches out to trail his hand along the other's cheek, his pointed black nails grazing the flesh. "You are... a little crazy though I figure. I don't poke inside minds like other Telepaths, but I read in you a lot of... tension. It's obvious you know, you don't need to be psychic to see it. But it's ok."
Vasik: Vasik furrowed his eyebrows. To be so easily readable was a weakness he had to mend. He didn't want his problems to leak on Myk, to ooze forth from his mind in a miasma of pain and suffering. "Ha, crazy. That's an understatement. But aren't we all?" He looked lovingly into the other's reflective eyes, deep in introspection. "But again, you don't have to tell me if it makes you uncomfortable." Within him, his mind was pleading, god yes, tell me, I need to know, let me know so I can rectify this, so I can comfort you.
Myk: "What makes me uncomfortable is the dogmatic hatefulness of our kind," he grumbles. "And even more so, the hypocrisy... but, I digress." He settles back against Vasik's shoulder and stares out into the darkness. It doesn't take long for his eyes to glaze over and for his brain to start thinking that his eyes are closed. The idea that he's dreaming seems to make it easier to talk, though. Rather than worrying about who might overhear, Myk settles both hands into his lap and sighs wistfully. "Vasik... does death frighten you?"
Vasik: "Uhh..." Vasik was taken back by the question. Nothing would cause the prince of demons to stand paralyzed and quiver in fear! Except for fadebeasts, he knew not why... But that was something he kept to himself. "Death? I suppose not. What is there to fear? Death isn't permanent for most of us, and even then, it doesn't seem too bad. A realm of darkness and seclusion? Wraiths and spirits? That just sounds like my old place." He chuckled. He wasn't quite sure if hid did actually fear death or not. "Death is something natural to fear though, as I understand."
Myk: "Hmm... then we are in agreement. Unfortunately, not everyone shares this view and they become frightened at the thought of passing on... Or, maybe, that I don't fully understand what it is they are fearing. I know simply that the Dark Place... uh... the Shadow Realm, is a place of terror for our kind. We go there when we die, but, only can we escape because of the Rift... This Rift that locates itself only near Harper Rock is the reason why our kind so grossly dominates this city and nowhere else. It is this fear of never being able to return from the Dark Place that ironically imprisons them here."
Vasik: Vasik could feel a slight distraction coming on. Still, it was interesting conversation. He wondered about the possibility of other rifts in the world, other mouths of Hell to which their kind could access and depend on. Still, he wasn't much for intellectual talk. "So you're saying the fear of death keeps us here. What's your point?" He asked in a curious, kind manner, as not to put Myk off from opening up to him.
Myk: Myk smirks lightly at the question. "My point is, they are doomed regardless. I want to relinquish them from their fear... but... I don't know how."
Vasik: "That's quite noble of you," Vasik observed. "Perhaps a merger of faith is in order? Not quite faith, but belief? How should I explain..." This may be the moment to open up his plans to Myk, but perhaps it was too soon... "A uniting of the vampires under a single measure, one that isn't code or rules, but an entitlement to destroy all fear."
Myk: "Not all fear is bad fear... When it becomes crippling or derogatory it is only a problem. Like this fear of the Dark Place... but, go on... I'm intrigued..." Myk decides to smile and keep quiet to let the other man talk. He knows he could debate his immortality away if ever given the opportunity; he must let the other man voice his thoughts.
Vasik: "Perhaps another time, it's... a lot to think about." His plot to raise the supremacy of vampires was a bold one, too bold to reveal at such a weak, fledgling state as his. It made him feel a little vulnerable, and what would his doll think of such a rotten plot? Would he accept it? Reject it? No, he had just claimed Myk as his own, it was too soon to lose him now. "I promise, just... some other time."
Myk: "Hmm... suit yourself then." He is a little irritated, but he doesn't let the frustration hold. Myk distracts himself with the sounds in his head, wondering why it was that whenever he was down here that it was mostly static, like radio waves reaching into an endless void. But then his thoughts creep up on him, something about what Vasik had said just moments ago suddenly blossoms in full view. "And I'm not all that noble by the way..."
