Tying the knot

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
This RP is set on 15th January 2014 in and around Aithne Asylum.
Keara: Standing in the bathroom, she looked over her wounds. It had been reckless of her to even attempt the raid so close to their binding night and yet she’d done it anyway. She ran her hands over the faint scars on her stomach, thankfully, despite how badly she’d been wounded, she was healing nicely. It was perhaps fortuitous that they had chosen to bind when the moon was high, as this would be around the time that her marks would likely disappear completely. As she looked in the mirror and resolved never to be so thoughtless again. She then wrapped herself in her silken black robe, pulled her hair out from underneath it, leaving it to run wild over her back and shoulders and walked into the bedroom. “Time is it almost for our ritual to begin My Love. If reservations you have. Let me know now you should, as postpone we can until another night if that your wish is.” Keara hoped this wouldn’t be the case but eternity was a long time and the commitment they were entering into wasn’t one she took lightly.

Enver: He was getting bound tonight, which in his eyes was the same thing as getting married, even if they didn't really use that terminology. The method that they had decided on was foreign to the male, so he tried to relate things to what it was he knew of or had experienced already. He had been doing some things on his phone for his different businesses, getting ready for their weekend away from the city when Enver heard her enter the bedroom. When she appeared and spoke, his phone was discarded to the first surface he could get it on and he grinned at her. The male shook his head at the idea of another night. "Not unless you're not feeling up to it." His eyes went to her abdomen area, that was covered by the robe she wore.

Keara: His reply was more or less what she wanted to hear, as he didn’t immediately take the “out” she was giving him. “Well enough I am. Healed I expect I shall be before the ritual completed has been…if continue to heal I do at the rate I have until now.” She crossed the room to where he sat and placed herself between his knees, her hands reaching behind his head, so that her forearms rested on his shoulders. Her eyes sought his and when, she knew she had his attention she said, “Love you I do My Enver.” Having declared her love for him, she leant in, pressing her lips to his.

Enver: He nodded his head, believing that her wounds would be healed sooner than later; she was the fighter between the two of them so would probably know that better then Enver did. He watched her come to him, the male sitting up straighter on the bed before she found her way between him, Enver relaxing as her arms rested on his shoulders. He was nervous, mostly because he had no idea what the hell was going to happen tonight and while he loved Keara and wanted to be with her, his track record wasn't the best in terms of marriage. Things sort of went downhill from that point onwards. He cleared his throat, leaned forward to meet her lips and nodded. "I love you too. How long until we get the show on the road?" His hand moved to her robe, a finger playing with the opening as he tried to inspect her wounds as quickly and as best as he could.

Keara: As he tried to take a peek at her wounds, she playfully slapped at his hand. “Almost time it is. Just need we do to make sure that everything in place is. Moved I did the altar to the garden. So…” she stepped back and offered him her hands. “Go downstairs we can…if ready you are.” She smiled softly at him. It was strange as she wasn’t nervous about the ritual at all, even though she wasn’t sure how well it would be received by Enver. If she was nervous about anything it was what would happen on their way to the garden, as she’d prepared something by way of a surprise.

Enver: "Is there something I should do before we do this?" He asked as he stood, realizing how little he'd actually done for tonight, being the experience was completely foreign to the guy. "I could run and get whatever is needed quick." He nodded his head, a hand running through his hair as the male started to think there might have been more needed to do for something like this. As he talked and tried to make sure everything was as it should be, Enver walked them out of their place, to the main part of the second floor, where he'd hit the button to the elevator to call it to them. Once it arrived, he'd enter it with her, a bit eager, yet somewhat uncertain due to his dislike of rituals and lack of knowledge on them.

Keara: He seemed nervous but Keara couldn’t figure out why. He’d been the one to propose and she’d given him the option of postponing, so she couldn’t see how the wedding itself could be the problem. She’d done her best to ease his mind on the matter of the ritual itself too and had even talked him through the basics of it. As far as she was concerned he was as prepared for this as he could be and so she shushed him in the nicest way possible, by placing her lips to his, and assured him that she had taken care of everything. Truth was, she didn’t require much and Enver had contributed to the night when he’d proposed. As they stepped off of the elevator, she began to walk them through the hall. As they passed the piano however she stopped and turned to him. “Before bind we do…Found I did a song that my feelings for you truly do portray. Wish I do this for you now to sing…if hear it you will?”

Enver: Enver accepted her second kiss for the night, the male making what would have been a soft, quick kiss, last a little bit longer when Keara tried to break it, he followed forward a little, the male grinning wide. His eyes went to where the garden area was, as did Enver's steps before there was a pause in their destination at the piano. He looked at her from the side, then looked at the piano and nodded his head. "Yeah. Of course." Obviously they had time as she mentioned it and wanted to do it, and Enver of course trusted she knew how watch the time in regards to rituals; most importantly this ritual.

Keara: Even though she knew he didn’t like her kissing his hands, she did exactly that; she collected is hands in hers as she stood facing him, raised them up and lightly kissed the back of each before lowering them down and releasing them. Seating herself at the piano, she paused briefly to collect her nerves and began to play. Keara was not as accomplished on the keys as Alanoth but she wasn’t entirely lacking in musical ability and so she began to play How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding. It was a song she’d stumbled upon while listening to YouTube, as was her way, as she had a tendency to follow one song with another selected from those suggested at the end. The moment she heard this track she knew she had to share it with Enver and there was no better time than their wedding night, as that was effectively what this was. Her voice showed no signs of the nervousness she felt as her fingers moved across the keys and she even managed to look up at him from time to time as she played.

Enver: Maybe he was biased, or maybe his own skills at the piano were just mediocre, but Enver was always entranced with the way she played and how well Keara played. If that made him biased, so be it. He was biased about his wife to be and her talents. As she played the song, he listened, but made his way to the stool she sat on, instead of standing behind her or besides her, by the time the song had ended. When Keara was done, Enver angled his body to face her, cleared his throat and gathered her hands to kiss them as she had kissed his. He didn't comment on the fact she had done that, truth was, he wasn't particularly bothered by it tonight as he knew what it was she was trying to say and portray when she kissed his hands. Enver was blown away from the song choice and her talents that it took him a second to say something or even acknowledge the song. "That's not a song I'd ever think of giving a second thought to." Their song choices were different, her's seemingly more modern and his not so, but he respected her song choice and she, his. "It's an amazing song. I'd like a copy of it, with you singing and playing it." Maybe it was the song, or maybe it was the way Keara was in general, but what was once nerves on what the night would hold, was instantly washed away and a new emotion replaced the nervousness. "You ready to do this?" He squeezed her hands, his brown eyes showcasing his excitement for the night's events.

Keara: She waited for his reaction and couldn’t help but laugh softly as he kissed her hands the way she had his. Considering they quite frequently misunderstood the other, they had found their own way of communicating with one another, and sometimes seemed to mimic the other; this was one of those times it would seem and it made Keara smile to realise it. When he began to speak however she bit into her lower lip as at first it seemed to her that he didn’t like the song she had chosen. Then when he asked for a copy of it, as sung by her, colour rose up briefly in her cheeks and she looked away. “Think I would that you the original song far more enjoyable would find. And yes. Ready I am now with you to be bound.” Keara nodded and yet made no move to stand as she was lost in his eyes, her hands still holding to his. So full of emotion she was that, while she had been convinced that it would be Enver who would be delaying the night’s preceding, she found herself leaning in to kiss him. This kiss, was deep and full of emotion and she soon found herself wrapping her arms around him as if she had no intention of ever letting go.

Enver: He waved her off on the suggestion of the original song. "Probably not." The male shook his head, but decided to leave it there as Keara stated she was ready. He made a move to head to the garden, but was delayed again when Keara kissed him. Not that he minded any, and let her know when Enver returned her kiss, and pulled her up to him. He didn't see the delays as anything negative, just that Keara had a lot to say or on her mind before the series of events went down. "Good. I'm ready too." He reaffirmed her as Enver broke the kiss for a second, then kissed her quickly again. The male moved to her side in an attempt to prevent another delay, not wanting to miss the time frame, not that it couldn't be done next month if push came to shove. "Come on." He nudged his head to the direction of the garden and took the first step towards it.

Keara: She was about to pout when he pulled back from the kiss but when he kissed her again, she couldn’t help but smile. With all the thoughts and emotions flooding through her body and mind, she almost forgot they had a ritual to perform, so when he moved to go, she frowned slightly. Realising where he was going however, that frown quickly disappeared and she swiftly found her footing and moved to follow him, grabbing at his hand and snuggling up against him as she went. “Remember you do what told you I did…yes…? Stay where indicate I do and do not the circle enter until invite you I do…yes?” The garden itself was ready for the ritual. The altar had been appropriately dressed with linens, vegetation, candles and the like. The rope he had bought for them to use lay neatly wound in the middle of the altar and the broom stood propped against a nearby tree.

Enver: He grinned wider at her questions and nodded his head. "Yeah, I remember." He'd try his best, but hopefully the ritual didn't take that long and test his willpower, all things considered about the ritual and how they were going on about it. "I can do this." Enver assured her as they entered the garden area. His steps stopped then when his eyes went around the area and saw what she had done. Enver really hadn't expected most, or any of the stuff he had gotten the night he had proposed to Keara to be used. Mostly because he wasn't sure if what he had gotten was the right stuff or if there was something better he should have gotten. He cleared his throat when the male saw the ritual alter, something he knew would be there, but still felt a slight discomfort around. "Where should I stand?" He looked at her to get his eyes and mind off the alter and back on the end goal, which would be being bound to Keara.

Keara: Keara nodded. “Good…So…” she walked Enver to a specific spot, stopped and then moved to stand before him as she placed her hands on his upper arms. This was perhaps a mistake because without even realising it she found herself feeling his muscles. “Here…here good is. Okay? Think you behave can for five minutes while call I do to the elements?” Had anyone been listening they may have assumed that she was treating him like a child but he sometimes needed her to speak to him that way, as for all of Enver’s intelligence he had moments were he was just plain daft and Keara knew this.

Enver: She moved him where he needed to be for the ritual and Enver followed without much, or any resistance. With her hands on his arms, he stepped forward just a little bit, but caught himself before his foot planted down closer to her. He chuckled and shook his head, as if to let her know he was "on to her," as if he had thought this was some sort of test to test his willpower and skills on listening. "Got it." He assured her after clearing his throat and nodding his head. "Five minutes. Not that long at all." Enver wrapped his hands around her hands to pull her off his arms and away from him, mostly for his own need then her own. At the rate Keara was going, the binding might never get done, with Enver's assistance, mind you.

Keara: When he took her hands she suddenly became aware of what she’d been doing and momentarily bit her lower lip and looked away from him. “Yes. Not long shall you have to wait before begin we do. So long as the gods blessing we have for to begin that is.” With that statement hanging in the air, she moved away from him to the tree to collect the broom. He’d gone to the trouble of acquiring it and so she wanted to include it in the ritual. She had tied the sea themed bracelet he had given her around the handle where the brushes met the stem, and to one side of the brushes itself she had fastened the mistletoe he had bought for Christmas. Without a second though she removed her robe and took a hold of the broom. Keara moved closer to that alter, so that her back was to Enver and began. With her ‘prop’ held out to the right of her, she raised her left out to the side and up into the air so that both hands were just higher than her shoulders. Clearing her throat she began, “Dark Mother, Brilliant Father. Seek I do this eve for with you to commune. Open I do this circle so that you my words better may hear and I your presence better may feel. Let me this threshold cross for here tonight are my intentions clear and my motives pure. In your name subjugate myself I do.” Keara’s left hand dropped to her side as her right slid down the pole she held to so that she could do a sweeping courtesy. Before standing from her courtesy she placed the room before her on the ground to act as a sort of doorway so that Enver would know where to enter…or more importantly where not to cross until instructed.

Enver: He watched her, mostly because the male still had reservations about rituals. Sure, she knew what she was doing, but what if something went wrong? It was possible for something to go wrong, these things seem like something that could go awry and once they did it'd be bad all around. He hadn't expected the broom to be used, simply because that object seemed to be the most confusing to her when Enver was trying to ask her to marry him. His eyes remained on the broom, because it wasn't her, or a naked her and truth was, while he had some self-control, five minutes of looking at a naked Keara would push his buttons and test him. Tonight was just too important to let instant gratification, something Enver spent a lot of time indulging in around Keara.

Keara: Keara stepped over the broom and walked to the alter. She had already marked each of the four points of the compass with a simple glass vase. Each vase contained a candle that had already been lit and the bottom of three of them had been lined with something in which the candle sat; the three vases were lined with earth, water and ashes. Picking up her dagger from the alter she began to speak. “Cleanse now I do this sacred space, so that all that enter safe may be. Call I do for balance here and now restored to be. Ask I do with all that I am, that heed you do my call oh benevolent spirits of this realm.” She crossed to the first vase which contained nothing but a candle and knelt before it holding her hands to the sky once more. “Master of Air. Call to you I do for you here change to bring. Sweep this place of all fear and doubt. This I ask of you. Allow for clarity and reason here to prevail.”

Enver: He was still watching her, quite carefully as Keara moved around the circle. He didn't know what she meant by cleansing an area or why that was so important, but he'd ask later. He didn't think asking questions at a time like this was something that should be done, because he was worried something bad was going to happen. Like they wouldn't approve of him when he asked questions, or one of those nasty creatures would attack her. She was already wounded enough from the night before and that god damn raid, so Enver wasn't going to add to that either. When he heard something about entering and being safe, Enver figured it was close to show time. Which meant he needed to drop his drawers, as per their arrangement. He looked around to make sure no one else was around, not thinking it would be a good idea if some of her family came on by, but then again the owner and leader of the house was naked herself, so what did it really matter. Enver shrugged, looked back at the broom so as to not look at Keara and the shape of her body as she moved around and discarded his boxers and waited for her cue more or less to enter the circle thing.

Keara: She had been facing East as she had summoned the spirit of air to assist her. Having said her piece, she stood and walked to the centre of the circle and stopped just before the altar, stooping to carve a circle into the ground with her dagger before moving to the vase in the Southern quadrant. This vase contained the ashes and she lowered herself before it, adopting the same pose before she called to the spirit of fire. “Master of Fire. Call to you I do for you here inspiration to bring. Sweep this place of all apathy and indifference. This I ask of you. Allow for passion and desire here to prevail.” When she was satisfied he had heard her she moved back to the altar to carve another circle at a 90 degree angle from the first, the two overlapping slightly.

Enver: The male cleared his throat lightly when he heard the words passion and desire, his eyes moving to her body and off the broom completely. His feet moved from his spot and inched closer to the circle, wondering when 5 minutes was up. Surely it had to have been up by now. But he wasn't sure, so Enver groaned, but stayed firmly planted where he was, his willpower obviously waning by now. Once again his eyes focused on the broom and then the other needed items around the circle to refocus his control on the situation.

Keara: Moving counter clockwise round the circle she now moved to kneel before the vase containing the water. She didn’t dare look to Enver for as much as she was worried he may do something stupid, she didn’t want to do something wrong herself and she knew her concentration and therefore her words would falter if she allowed herself to look upon him before she was ready for him to join her. “Mistress of Water.” She continued on with the cleansing of the area. “Call to you I do for you here peace to bring. Sweep this place of all animosity and discord. This I ask of you. Allow for love and respect here to prevail.” She was calling to west as she did this, her hands raised once more before she got to her feet and went to draw a third circle on the ground opposite the first.

Enver: A hand went to the bridge of Enver's nose as he sighed and waited some more. Were all rituals this drawn out or just this one? Going to a courthouse would have been much quicker in his eyes (and familiar), or maybe that was just him. Come to think of it, this wasn't that bad, just particular it seemed. Was getting married supposed to take this much work on just one person's end? Enver felt like he wasn't doing much of anything but watching her do the work for what was supposed to be their binding. Due to his impatience and lack of doing anything for the last few moments, the male started to circle the circle, his eyes on the work Keara was doing. As long as he wasn't in the circle, it should be alright, he had assumed and hoped.

Keara: Adopting what was by now a familiar pose to Enver, she addressed the Northern quadrant. She was aware of the fact that he was moving and hoped upon hope that he wouldn’t cross into the circle uninvited. “Mistress of Earth,” She continued, brushing aside her fears as she forced herself to focus once more. “Call to you I do for you here stability to bring. Sweep this place of all weakness and uncertainty. This I ask of you. Allow for strength and loyalty here to prevail.” The cleansing was almost complete and she once more moved back to the centre carving a fourth circle into the ground. Having drawn the circle she remained crouched on the floor and began to draw a fifth and final circle in the middle of the others. This fifth circle linked them all together and formed what was now the completed image of the Celtic ‘Five Fold Circle’. Standing, she placed the dagger on the altar and stated “Thank you I do oh benevolent spirits for this for me to do. Cleansed this sacred space has been. My ritual now begun can be.” Now finally allowing her eyes to stray in Enver’s direction she said, “Invite I do My Love for with me to stand. Most welcome you are now for the threshold to cross and me to join My Enver. Tonight we our futures do entwine.” She was holding out her hands to him, her palms down, ready to receive his when he reached her. Waiting patiently for him step over the broom, she let her eyes take in his form. She was still getting used to his newest tattoo so it still drew her focus. She was still learning how it felt beneath her fingertips and had changed a little as it had begun to heal. Thoughts of this filled her mind as he moved to stand with her.

Enver: Finally! Enver had been called to join her, which meant that they were getting close to the actual ceremony (in his eyes). He looked at the circle, then at her and took a wary step towards it. He cleared his throat, looked around the room one more time as if expecting something bad to happen with his progression forward, then looked back at her and grinned. Enver nodded his head and took an assertive step forward, his hands reaching out for hers, finding them and squeezing them. His frame was tense, being the guy had no idea what would happen when he stepped inside the circle; maybe he'd get fire rained upon him from the skies, he'd find himself in some sort of strange magical force to push him out of the circle or do something worse. He waited and when nothing happened, Enver relaxed slightly and let his grin grow wider.

Keara: Keara smiled at her beloved and leaned in to quickly placing a light kiss on his lips. The area had been cleansed but it was far from safe and so she would now call upon her deities to close the circle for her. She hadn’t told Enver of this aspect of the ritual as it had slipped her mind and so as she spoke to her god and goddess she made sure to try and maintain eye contact with him; wary of the fact that he might not be so comfortable with this aspect of the proceedings. “Dark Mother, Brilliant Father. Ask I do that you our union here do witness. Under this,” she cast her eyes skywards, “the Mother’s inky sky, with the mark of Father’s light so full and bright upon us, wish we do with one another joined to be. Before do this we may ask I do that you this sacred space do seal. Allow not for our ritual this eve interrupted to be. This of you I beg.”

Enver: So far everything Keara had said and done didn't seem all that bad. Different, maybe, but nothing that seemed to be "bad" or negative in Enver's eyes, unlike some of the other rituals he'd been "blessed" with experiencing. This helped him relax a little more, along with her words of reassurance and the kiss to his lips. He looked up to see the full moon, then back at her, the male shifting his weight on his bare feet, feeling antsy maybe? Anxious? Or maybe just tired of standing for the last few minutes. Which was a little odd. Was this a side effect of the ritual? If it was, Enver sure wasn't about to say anything. They were getting bound.

Keara: Squeezing his hands gently she could feel the air about them change and knew her words had been heard and that she could finally proceed with the binding itself. However, before they could begin to exchange their vows, she had to be sure they stated the fact that they had come together for their own volition. “Free I am for with you to bind My Love. No-one me here today hath brought. Wish I do, with all that I am, for my life with you to share. Hope I do that you the same something similar to me can state.” She paused and waited to see if he would remember what he was supposed to say next.

Enver: Now they were getting somewhere. At least somewhere familiar to Enver. This was more or less the part of their "vows" in this situation, something he was more or less familiar with. "I'm here because I want this fine lady to be my wife. I'm here because I want to be here and came as quick as I could." He chuckled and took a step closer to her, his hand squeezing hers again. He hoped that would sum up what was needed to be said, because formality on some things just didn't feel right and being formal in this moment was when it didn't feel right to him.

Keara: With him so close she had to take a step back as she was dangerously close to throwing her arms around him and kissing him like her life depended on it. It took all her willpower not to give in to her baser instincts. She’d never felt like this with anyone and in some ways the strength of the emotions she felt and the thoughts that ran through her mind when he was close still scared her a little. With her emotions under control, for now, she continued. “Swear upon my blood I do that under moon and sun and upon all that holy is, that true to you I shall be. Give you my hand I do, for my path with yours to merge.” She let go of his hands and then offered him her left one. She’d explained that he had to grip her lower left arm with his left hand, so that their wrists touched.

Enver: He waited until she spoke the words that he knew were coming, nodded his head, looked around, then wrapped his hand around her arm, so that their wrists 'kissed' each other and then finally rested against the others. A finger stroked at the flesh of her arm, his eyes locked on her face as he caressed her skin, as if he hadn't felt it just a few minutes ago. He stepped a little closer to her, mostly out of habit and desire for the woman in front of him, his knee brushing against her thigh as he did this. "Sorry." He muttered with a laugh, his finger still caressing her arm, regardless to what he just said.

Keara: She lightly gripped his arm and practically purred when he began to stoke her skin. He was making this incredibly difficult for her but she’d half prepared herself for that fact. Closing her eyes to compose herself she soon found herself smiling as he apologised. A part of her thought he was doing this on purpose to test her willpower but she knew that was silly and quickly dismissed it. With her right hand she reached for the rope that lay on the altar and placed it over their wrists so that an equal length fell either side of them. She liked the rope, it was pretty and colourful all at once what with being made up of three different strands; one black, one white and one purple. Now they were ready to begin their vows and so summoning up what little willpower she had remaining she looked into his eyes and began. “Honour and respect you I shall from this day unto my last. Until no longer I this realm or any other do walk.”

Enver: Enver cleared his throat after hearing what Keara said, looked down at what she was doing with the cords he had gotten, again, slightly surprised they were using that one. He either picked the right one, or she was being nice, none of which he minded. "Keara, I promise to always honor and respect your thoughts, decisions, way of life and well, you, as a husband should, in every way." He paused to waggle his brows at her, even though his tone was serious and he was being serious, he was talking about every aspect and wanted her to know. "Until a night comes you no longer want or need me at your side." He didn't believe that death would ever be permanent, so he didn't feel the need to say that. Until she dismissed him from her life, he was here to stay.

Keara: His words made her smile, or at least they did until he basically said he’d be hers till she no longer wanted him; the thought of that made her frown slightly as she couldn’t imagine a day where that could happen. Shaking the negative thoughts from her mind, she reached under their hands and grabbed the rope looping one side over their hands, symbolising that one set of vows had been exchanged. “Never shall our problems me from you turn.” She began the next agreed upon set of vows. As while neither she nor Enver had spoken the words to one another before that night, they had agreed upon the keywords that should be used like honour and respect. “Patient with you I shall be…as hope I do that you me the same courtesy shall pay. Forgive I shall in times where necessary it is. So long as within me it is for that to do.”

Enver: He chuckled softly at her words, knowing there'd been a fair few times he tested her patience and in truth sometimes she tested his too. "As we enter our new journey together, I swear to be patient and forgiving in the times it's needed and required." He paused, knowing how difficult that could be for them at times, being he'd been attacked by her not that long ago and that he had once or twice needed to walk away and collect himself and come back later, but Enver had always wanted to come back, so in the end, he realized that he had become more patient and ended up forgiving Keara. "I'm not perfect, I know. Neither is my communication or ways of coming to forgiveness and being patient, but I will never want to stop being those things with and for you and will always find a way, in time."

Keara: Her words seemed empty next to his, or so she thought. She was such a fool for him and in this moment she truly felt it as she felt herself practically swoon. He was right, he wasn’t perfect but then again neither was she but she liked that, as it was their flaws that made them interesting. She reached over their hands this time and collected the other side of the cord and wrapped it over their hands. “Accept you I do for all that you are. Know I do that I too imperfect am. But know you should that perfect for me you are.” She really wanted to kiss him now to prove her love but held back from doing so as the moment wasn’t right…yet. “Hope I do, that know you me anything can tell. Confide in me your darkest sins you may and love you all the more I shall. For in all things balance there must be and accept I could not the good without the bad, as then know you I never truly shall. Open with you I always shall be. Never shall you my words need doubt.”

Enver: Enver scoffed at the idea of Keara being imperfect, because he didn't see any ounce of imperfection in her. She was, what he considered a kind and gentle soul, albeit the killing of various creatures in the catacombs and other places, but even then she was efficient and killed things quickly as to not make them suffer, another sign that she was a kind person. He knew she had the patience of the saint given some of their heated discussions on things they didn't see eye to eye on and the passion that was in her, in all forms was astounding. She was amazing and perfect. His finger stroked the length of her arm as he listened to the rest of her words and kept stroking it until he was done talking. "I accept you for all that are now and all that you will be from this night on. With that I accept your weaknesses and shall try my damndest to help make them your strengths on our journey together as husband and wife. What you cannot be, I will try and be for you, until your weaknesses are strengthened and I accept that responsibility as your mate, Keara." He cleared his throat, dropped his eyes to the arm he was caressing, smiled a little more, nodded his head and looked back up at her confidently.

Keara: He was too perfect and that desire to kiss him was becoming overwhelming. Instead she reached out with her free hand and placed it affectionately to his face. She was supposed to wrap the cord and move on but she couldn’t till she’d replied to what he’d said. “The same for you I shall do My Love. But need you do not from my weaknesses strengths to make as you my strength are. Together shall we balance find.” Her arm was tingling where he had been stroking her, she still felt physical contact longer than she should and he had been being affectionate in his own small way since they had joined hands. His touch was maddening to her and as she looked into his eyes she could have died then and there and been at peace. After a few moments of silence, having lost herself in the moment, she bit into her lower lip, the dull pain of which brought her back to her senses. She reached under their hands to the rope on the other side and wrapped it once more. “So long as in my power it is for me to choose, be here for you I always shall be. Care for you I shall when you injured are and try I shall for all your burdens that share with me you do to ease.” The mention of injury made her look down at her stomach, at which point she realised the scars had fully healed, where there had once been evidence of her antics in the raid, there was now none. With a soft smile on her lips she looked back up at Enver.

Enver: They were almost done, he was sure of it, because they'd gone through just about everything they had talked about and planned for. His lips brushed against the flesh of her palm, maybe intentionally to try and speed things up a little, because he'd been good for too damn long in his mind. "When you're in pain, I will find a way to ease that pain." He didn't emphasize the idea of physical pain, because there was more than that in life in his mind. "Your sufferings are mine to endure with you and to help end them." Perhaps this wasn't his best line, because truth was, he'd probably be in more pain, at least physically then she ever would be. "When you're down, I will find a way to lift you up again." Again, there was no emphasis on it being just physical meaning with Enver.

Keara: He was far more eloquent than she was and damn if he wasn’t making this harder on her with every word he said. She reached over their arms, grabbed the rope and wrapped it over their hands. “Your faithful companion I shall be, for as long as you me do desire. No other shall I require so long as with me you are. This promise you I can.” She was beginning to tremble slightly and as much as she hoped he wouldn’t feel it, she was sure he would. She wasn’t nervous or anxious, as the vows were almost over and they were so close to being bound that it would have been ridiculous to be nervous at this point. What she was, was full of anticipation for the moment their lips would finally meet as man and wife. The thought of that caused the trembling to increase a little and she had to remind herself that after the kiss she had to thank her deities and dismiss the elements. ‘Please give me strength,’ she begged of Nox as she momentarily looked skywards.

Enver: Was she shaking? What was scaring her? Enver looked around suddenly, as if something was about to attack them, but when he didn't see anything or anyone, he was quite honestly perplexed. She couldn't be scared of the idea of being with him, right? In his mind they already did most, if not all these things they vowed to be and keep working on to the other. "I'm yours until you decide otherwise, Keara. There's no other I want, require, or need." He stole her wording just a little and added a twist to it before Enver chuckled. "I swear it to you and to your deities too." He let out a breath of air after he said that, relieved that they seemingly gave their blessing in his mind, from lack of interruption or anything bad happening.

Keara: She knew what she was about to say next and so her upper fang found its way once more into the soft flesh of her lower lip. She had to close her eyes before she spoke again, dragging out the pause between them and almost forgetting to wrap the cord again. As her eyes opened, she found herself staring into his once more and without even looking for the rope, reached out and did what she needed to before speaking the last of their vows; a vow she hadn’t actually spoken to him about but was sure he would all too eagerly embrace. “Free with my affection with you I shall be, for my body yours is. Wish I do for all your desires true to bring. Learn we shall together how best we one another can enjoy.”

Enver: His willpower faltered when he saw her bite on her lower lip. Enver was sure they were done anyways, because they had said everything they planned on saying so he leaned forward to do what he wanted to do. But instead, Keara was talking again and saying something he hadn't expected for her to say, mostly because they hadn't talked about adding this to their vows. Enver cleared his throat, not sure what to say or do. He wanted to do a lot with the words she had said, but he was sure he was supposed to say something. "We can explore, uh." His mind was battling between what to do and what to say and after only a few words, his willpower faltered and his other arm was reaching for her and finding Keara's back. He was going to kiss her, which would seal the deal of them being husband and wife, even though he hadn't intended for that to happen, he just wanted to kiss her and have her in his arms.

Keara: She’d caused him to lose his words, which she’d half expected. Enver had one hell of a silver tongue when he was in the right frame of mind but she’d managed to silence him a few times since the night they met. When he moved as if to pull her to him, she tried to hold her ground. The vows were almost complete and she didn’t want to anger Nox and Helios by allowing their lips to touch before the appropriate moment. It was this fact alone that gave her the strength to hold him at bay, her free hand on his chest to keep him at arm’s length, even if this form of contact was causing her to lose her own resolve with every passing second. “Behave,” she whispered as if the deities may not hear her. “Almost done we are.” She gave him as stern a look as she could muster, which wasn’t much of anything, as like him her desires were far too close to the surface in that moment. Swallowing hard, she found her words again. “Believe I do that these our vows complete are. That spoken we have of our true intent for one another. As tie this knot we do, bind we do ourselves to what said has been and when we leave this sacred space, leave we do as man and wife.” They hadn’t exactly practiced this part but she handed one end of the rope to Enver so that together they could knot the rope twice and cement their union. After that she was more than happy to kiss him…she just had to remind him not to break the barrier about them before it was ‘safe’ to do so.

Enver: Behave? That sure was asking a lot, all things considered, but with a hand on his chest, Keara made it apparent that he really had no choice. He sighed and lowered his hand a little, until the hand on her back glazed over her butt, then dropped away, taking what he could before he had to behave. He grabbed the end that was offered to him, looked at her end then worked on tying them together to knot them. All in all, while this was foreign, it wasn't all that different from weddings he was familiar with. There were vows, then kissing and some other things that took the place of other traditions. When he was sure it was tied and tied right, Enver looked back up at Keara. "If I don't get to kiss you soon, I'm not sure what's going to happen." He admitted with a chuckle, his eyes wandering over her naked form.

Keara: With the knot tied, Keara bit her lower lip and looked into Enver’s gorgeous brown eyes. “Kiss me now you may…unless wish you do to see what happen shall if kiss now we do not,” she teased. She wasn’t about to hold herself back from him though and after little more than a microsecond she claimed his lips. She kissed him passionately, wrapping her free hand around him as she tried to work her bound hand from the rope without allowing the knot to be disturbed. “Leave this circle we may not yet. Stay here…please,” she whispered in his ear.

Enver: Finally! He could seal the deal with a kiss and maybe a little more. Truth be told if he didn't do a little more then kiss his wife (who was naked, mind you), it just wouldn't be Enver. Hell, it should make some warning bells in someone's head in his mind if a guy wasn't putting his hands on his wife. A slight scoff was heard from the guy. As if he'd not kiss her. Only, Enver didn't have a chance to kiss Keara, as she was kissing him before he could make the first move. He chuckled at her eagerness, his hand brushing against the flesh lower back and then getting comfortable on her butt as he squeezed it. Keara broke the kiss too damn early in his mind and started giving him more directions. "Alright." He cleared his throat, confused and would start to follow her around, while staying inside the circle, not sure what he was supposed to do now.

Keara: Pulling away from him and out of his arms took a lot of willpower but then she still had work to do. The circle had to be unsealed and the spirits dismissed and unfortunately that took time; time she wasn’t sure Enver was willing to waste. With this in mind she planned to get things completed as quickly as possible. Placing the rope on the circle, she looked to the sky and addressed her deities again. “With your blessing my immortal parents, take our leave we shall. Ask I do that allow us now to leave you shall.” She felt a change in the air about them, something that to her signified the fact that her words had been heard. “Dismiss now I do the benevolent spirits that us here tonight have helped.” Without taking a moment to pause, she began to speak to the spirits once more. “Master of Air. Thank you I do for the changes that you here did bring.” She walked to the vase and blew out the candle. Then one by one she continued the process, moving around the circle as she had at the start. “Master of Fire. Thank you I do for the inspiration that you here did bring… Mistress of Water. Thank you I do for the peace that you here did bring… Mistress of Earth. Thank you I do for the stability that you here did bring.” They were now free to leave and so she moved back to the circle, picked up the rope and place it around her neck and looked back to Enver with a warm smile, her eyes sparkling with the thoughts the lay behind them.

Enver: It seemed like everything was wrapping up in his mind as he watched Keara move around the circle and thank various elements. Was anyone "present" besides him and her tonight in the circle? He had no clue, but she thought so, so that was all that mattered and was enough for Enver to keep his mouth closed. He couldn't say for sure no one else was here, just as much as he could say someone wasn't here. His eyes looked at the broom, then at her before Enver closed the gap between them and picked her up in the traditional bridal sense. Or at least tried to. Truth was, it was a little bit of a struggle, even though Keara was tinier then him and probably didn't weigh all that much. Guess he should have practiced this somehow, before tonight. Once she was up and against his chest, Enver stepped over the broom with her in his arms and then, decided to hell with it, with waiting and being patient (not one of his strongest fortes, big surprise), held her tight to his chest and took off in a run, that would take them both out of the garden and to the elevator. Once there, he would push the button (more like jab it a few times too many) get in as it opened, jab it close again and run them back in their cell to enjoy their night as a newly wedded couple.
