Meet will face and face. All is well, all is well. Alone come yes? Yes. The otter meet the Kami.
The text sent out to Luffy, the Shadow waited in her newly acquired apartment, within the Quarantine Zone. It was a lovely place, she thought, although the sounds of the dead were just as obnoxious as the screams within her mind. The place was empty, as the woman preferred it, since that was how almost all of her other places were. It made sure that nothing was hiding to spy on her, or attempt to do harm, as she had started to become worried about, even if the worries held no truth. Silence was the music that filled her sanctuary, only accompanied slightly with a ballad of winter, wind and snow dancing to the tune. The woman stared out, watching the denizens of the QZ shamble about, the weather seemingly not even phasing them. They seemed so oblivious to what was going on around them, though so was Kamikaze, in a sense.
You know he's going to try and kill you, dear sister, don't you? Just like Tytonidae. He can't be trusted. A dagger to the throat, when you least expect it. They're no better than those filthy human paladins. They all need to die.
Rei's voice had become obsessed with violence, as of late, giving Kamikaze a shiver down her spine. She didn't like it. She just wanted her to be the nice sister that she remembered, before Rei had passed away. Waiting on a response from Luffy, Kamikaze sat, attempting to deal with the barrage of voices. The fact that she was in the Quarantine Zone would have probably explained why there were more voices, and why a lot were either extremely angry with her, or scared and wanting to go home. The voices began to meld together, into one cluster of noise, within Kamikaze's head, leaving her disoriented and lost. On the bright side, she wasn't surrounded by people, living, dead, or ethereal, so that at least kept her from freaking out, at least externally. Internally, she was beginning to panic, pleading for the voices to stop, for them to leave her be. Cries fell on deaf ears, as the screams and cries of the damned would carry on. The woman covered her ears, tight, buckling over into a fetal position, her cries echoing through her empty flat, the broken English nonsensical at best.
Shh, dear sister, shh. Accept your fate. Also, you really need a shower, love. It's been... months. It's a good thing you are where you are, though... You blend in, stinking just as bad as the mindless fools on the ground floor.
Still screaming nonsense, the Shadow curled tighter to a ball, though her phone was cushioned by a few coats that she was wearing. Clothing was tattered at best, covered in who knew what, though what they lacked in cleanliness and condition.. they surely made up for in layers. A few insects scurried along the woman's body, passing over her as if she were nothing but a part of the floor, albeit a rather loud one. She was still screaming, pleading, crying, anything to get the voices to stop. Her voice was beginning to give out, yet she still persisted.
