Not really sure what I’m doing with this, really. Never really kept a diary or anything - it’s never been my style, but seeing as how I’ve now got an eternity to work with it seems like it might be a decent idea. Make sure nothing gets lost and I remember it, and all that good stuff. So here goes nothing, I guess.
I’m in a new city. Not sure how I got here, but I’ve been here about a year now, finding my feet. Still don’t really know that many people, but I’ve worked out a few ways I can earn and that’s always handy, really. Speaking of, I’m working on getting my hands on some real estate that isn’t my apartment so I can open a bar. Hopeful that’ll work out well, and if not - at least I tried, right? Nothing ventured nothing gained. Speaking about my apartment though, some kid broke in a while back. Think he’s a human, not like me, but I don’t hold that against him. Seemed like a good lad, so I let him stay. He steals cars, or something. Each to their own and all that. He does ride, though, so that was a mark in the ‘pros’ column right off. Met some other bikers too, on my travels, and we seem to get along quite well. Should think about starting an MC or something at some point. Would be good to have a club again. New club for a new life? Makes sense, really.
The rest of the year’s been pretty slow, though. Basically the same cycle of killing zombies to sell their ears, or breaking and entering to do basically the same thing with whatever I steal. Have got more interested in tinkering with stuff, though. Figure I need a hobby, what with an eternity to work with and all that. Haven’t made anything particularly amazing yet, but I figure I’ll get better at it with time and practice. And I’ve got plenty of time. Oh! I got a job too, working security at Pins and Needles. Bit too soon to tell what that’s going to be like, but gainful employment’s the dream, or something. Gives me time to ride and do my own thing still, got no real room to complain. All in all, things are looking pretty good right now. Just wish I could actually kill a feral vampire for a change. That’d be great.
Time to play ‘let’s see how well I keep up with this thing’. Should be interesting.
