--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC let herself onto the boat and smiled at all she'd managed to accomplish in so short a time. The jacuzzi was on and warmed, a scented bubble oil having been dropped in first to hide anything that happened under the water's surface. The bars were fully stocked with blood and alcohol, anything anyone could think of was there, or at least everything she could think of which was fairly extensive. There were canapes being served around by scantily clad men and women, so that every taste was catered to visually. There were also however, a couple of large an imposing security men on both floors, standing at the edges of the boat, just in case. The poles were cleaned and gleaming, and a couple of folks were busy warming up ready for when the others got there. Then there was a rail of spare bathing suits, in case people hadn't thought to bring one. She had paid for everything herself, and only hoped that the Sangue all showed up - and that this wasn't all for nought.
<Prudence> entered the boat cautiously and looked around. Even though she knew she was going to a place that should be deemed safe, Prudence didn't come without a gun and a small blade. Who knew what the **** would go on in something like this? She always had to prepare for **** hitting the fan. "Uh, hello?" She looked around, noticing a lot of stuff. "Woah." She just stopped and looked at everything. So this was what parties were like. "CC?" Prudence walked around, skipping past the faces she didn't know to find the only face she did know. "Uh, this is a lot of stuff. Are these things always like this?" Prudence looked around at all the workers to put faces in her "memory bank," so to speak.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She heard the voice echoing over the groups and looked around to find the redhead with a grin. She quickly wove her way through the people to Pru's side and looked around nervously. "Yes, this is a sideline to my business. We do these cruises for corporate parties, bachelor parties, hen nights, birthdays and anniversaries. Any reason really. So long as the client has the money - I fulfill the specs they have in their minds." She looked around, chewing on her lip. "You think it's ok? Think the others will like it? There's a hunt organised for later too. I have some people arranging that for us as we speak...."
<Zodiac> *walks up the plank with a packed bag over her shoulder with Ginny following behind her. To her, this seems familiar somehow. Gets to the top and looks around. Spies CC and Pru and sneaks up from behind them both
<Prudence> "It's a lot of stuff." She said, still scanning the faces. "All these people work for you?" She looked at one face in particular, not real sure if he was meant to be on the boat or not, before looking back at CC. "It looks really cool, I just never been on one of these things before. But I bet yours is the best." She nodded, trying to give the woman a compliment about the unknown. "So who are you all expecting?"
<Zodiac> *pokes them both in the back and hugs tightly*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "I'm not really expecting anyone, just hoping for everyone?" She felt the finger in her back and jumped turning around. Her face split into a huge grin when she saw Zo and leant in, hugging her tightly, resisting the urge to do more, not knowing how the woman wanted to play it - though it nearly killed her to do so. "Zo! Hi! You made it!”
<Zodiac> Hey babes. So this is party central? *looks around* Looks good. When does the mass murder start? *grins and winks*
<Prudence> turns around sharply when she feels a poke and then waves. "Heya Zo." She said as she was hugged, trying not to cringe. "Be cool if scorpia came, and that Cree chick. I think you'll like her."
<Zodiac> Scorp? Oh please! Like she'd have time for anything. *laughs* Yeah, I never mind meeting new people
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She grinned and stepped back as Zo hugged Pru too, swallowing the growl that tried to escape as she saw the woman touching another - all while the perfect smile stayed on her face. "Mass murder is at midnight - that's when the employees have been told to be ready for and when the drugs should wear off - just before." She looked around, trying to see if anyone else she recognised had arrived yet, but there was no-one. Yet.
<Kayden> climbs aboard the boat with a few boths of the flavored alcohol that scorpia kept in the bar under his arm. Walking around one of the things he assumed belonged on a ship, he smile at the extravagant wa the boat had been done for this party. Spotting the ladies he smiled and walked over to them, setting the bottle down on a table close by. " Good evening ladies"
<Zodiac> Wicked. So, do we have quarters below? I want to set up Miss Thing's accomodations. She is very neat cat, but she needs to know where its okay to....ya know?
<Prudence> rolled her eyes at Kayden. He could be such a kiss *** sometime. Of course he brought a gift for CC. So Pru pulled out a golden gun from her waistband and gave it to CC, while glaring at Kayden. "I gotchya this on the way here." She smiled, then adressed Kayden. "Hey Kay." She nodded her head towards him.
<Zodiac> Hello, Mister Kayden *waves her fingers*
<Kayden> smiled in delight and went to kiss pru on the cheek. For all her gruffness she was a delightful woman who had managed to make him laugh more then once. Though lately he hadn't seen enough of her. Grinning he said "granny pru it warms my heart to see you and CC of course. Not to mention our feisty Zodiac."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She smiled at the guy and nodded, guessing it was Kayden from how Pru addressed him. She stepped forwards and held out her hand, grinning. "Hi. Kayden? I'm CC. Nice to meet you." She looked at the gun and smiled, setting it aside for later being more of a blades girl. "Thanks Pru and yes Zo. There's a downstairs. That's where the dancers and the... hot tub is." She grinned then, holding the woman's eyes.
<Zodiac> Sweet. Thank you *smiles* I will get her set up, change and be back up. *scoops up the cat and heads below*
<Prudence> "You wanna see what Granny Pru can do?" She growled and raised a fist, then grumped when CC practically tossed the gun aside with barely a notice to it. "I got that from kicking someone's ***! And it's real gold!" She stormed off to take a seat close to the rail, mumbling to herself
<Zodiac> You rock, Pru! *calls out to her mentally*
<Prudence> "******* right I do! Just don't give guns away every day!" Prudence shouted to a disappearing zodiac. "Changing? What the **** is everyone changing for?" Prudence looked at her clothes. "I'm not wearing something weird."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She sighed and rubbed her head as Pru grumped, doing her best to keep calm and not snap. Afterall, she was the hostess here and she needed to keep control. But with Zo and Pru here..... her emotions were going wild, for different reasons. "Thank you Pru, again. It's lovely. It's just not practical at a party - where a bottle of alcohol, is." She grinned, nodding her head in thanks to Kayden.
<Kayden> gave a wide smile to CC and then chuckled abeit under his breath as Pru grumped off. Figuring he could be good for a few hours, he followed her and leaned next to her on the railing. "ok Ill be good Pru, but only because your the scariest woman ever." WIth a wink he leaned his back against the rails and enjoyed the view of the boat all decked out.
<Prudence> "Of course it is!" She pulled out her own gun and then shot one of the bottles that Kayden brought and cackled. "Entertainment!" She looked at Kayden and then nodded. "Damn right." She held out a fist out for him to bump.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "And Pru...." She smiled, patting her arm gently. "Generally for a party, you dress up." She stepped back and swept a hand over her own outfit, indicating the slinky dress she wore. She jumped as the gun was fired and frowned, her workers looking scared shitless. "Pru. Not yet. No weapons please, not until the hunt!"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> http://www.valentinasboutique.co.uk/ekm ... 3699-p.jpg - Dress ))
<Prudence> "Fine." She sighed and holstered the gun, looking at CC. "Why? I mean ya dress nice all the time, but if I showed up wearing something weird, it's not who I am. It's fake." She kicked her feet up on a table and stared at her.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She shrugged. "Cause that's what you do at parties. You show off a cleaner version of yourself."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She remembered her promise to Pru then and pulled out her phone, typing up an invite through gritted teeth and posting it on the board.
<Prudence> "I'm clean!" She stood up and showed off her shirt. "Not a speck of blood!" She turned around. "Or dirt." She nodded. "You don't like what I'm wearing?" ((
http://s9.thisnext.com/media/largest_di ... 2BCD48.jpg ))
<Kayden> bumped fists with her and then looked down at his own outfit. He had brought some casual club clothes but at the same time he did want to relax a bit first. "how about we save the dress up for later when others get here? or would that ruin your plans CC?"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She smiled and laughed at Kayden, shaking her head. "Not at all. But you ever tried to get Pru to look.... normal? It's a bit of a fight!"
<Prudence> "Normal? What the **** does that mean?" She looked at her outfit again. "Lots of people wear this stuff. I've seen it. What ya mean is fancy. Looking stuffy." She shook her head. "No thanks."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She grinned and knew how to make the woman shush. She stepped in close and leant down to where she was sitting, pressing a kiss to the woman's cheek gently.
<Prudence> "YUCK!" Prudence scooted away. "Gross CC." Pru grumped and put two elbows on a table and sat there, almost sulking. "Where is Zo?" She looked around, still scooting away from CC, slowly.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She sat herself down and crossed her legs, totally bemused by Pru. "She's downstairs setting up her cat and changing her clothes. Perfection takes time you know."
<Prudence> "Setting up her cat? People dress up their cats now?" She snorted. "That's weird, but whatever." She shrugged. "So is this boat going somewhere?"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "No, setting up it's food and water and litter I'd presume. Think Mrs!" She laughed softly and looked around nodding. "Yes, we're heading out into the wilderness. There's a lake just out there, to the East. I thought we could moor there and swim and hunt and such. It's quite a nice spot really."
<Prudence> The wilderness. Pru's eyes lit up a little. She liked going out there. "Wicked." She kicked back in the chair she claimed again and got comfy. "I'll get down with hunting." She skipped past the idea of swimming. "And scout the area. Keep an eye on things while everyone's doing stuff." She looked to the area Zo had disappeared to. "Maybe you should check on her. She could need girlie help or something."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "You're as much of a girl as I am. As far as I'm aware." She smirked and winked at her. "Maybe one day I should just double check eh!"
<Prudence> "**** off." She scowled. "You can see I've got tits and an ***. No need to double check." She stuck her tongue out, but then held her arms out to her side. "But if it makes ya feel better." She sat there, her eyes dropping down to where her boobs were. "They're just boobs. Every chick has them."
<Zodiac> *after making sure Ginny knew where her 'business box was and setting out water for her. She changed. Swimsuit under a sarong with sandals. Hair down for once and not bundled up in several scarves*
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/4 ... SY445_.jpg
<Zodiac> *steps out and looks around. frowns to see everyone growling at each other still*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She smirked and didn't bother to wait for a second invitation. Her hand snaked out and goosed the woman before she quickly danced off laughing, before Pru could get her. However as she did she saw Zo emerge and stumbled, pulling up short, staring. She might as well have had her mouth hanging open, the way she was looking at her.
<Zodiac> *walks to one of the flower arrangements. plucks a small orchid and sets in the side of her hair*
<Zodiac> So, everyone still arguing up here? Did not need to be a mind spy to hear all that below *takes a seat*
<Zodiac> *looks at Pru* and yes dear. those are boobs.
<Prudence> Pru was about to smack the hand away when CC decided better of things and took off. When Zo came back up, Pru nodded her head to her. Her eyes went to CC and then to Zo. She had to agree, everyone was dressed really weird, only she wasnt going to be rude and stare at Zo like that. "Oh good. I was worried I was made funny." She stuck her tongue out at the woman.
<Zodiac> Could be giant vampire bee stings for all the heck I know *cackles*
<Zodiac> Did you check for a stinger?
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She walked over to Zo and grabbed her, taking her in her arms as a hand went to a buttock - and then kissed her hard. She looked so amazing, and CC hadn't seen her for a while, and she couldn't help herself.... Plus, she thought it safe - as there was only Pru here. And Pru wouldn't care. Would she?
<Zodiac> *blinks in surprise as she is smooched* Glad someone likes my dress
<Prudence> Pru snorted and then dropped her jaw. "What the ****, CC? You can't just be groping on people and kissing them." She jumped up, crossed her arms and glared at her mini-vamp. "Especially married people!"
<Aly> ((
http://images02.nastygal.com/resources/ ... 0.zoom.jpg ))Well that was quite the line to walk in on, steps stopping short as her brow perked up a bit at the exclamation. Her decision to come to the party had been split-second, noting the invitation on the Crow and deciding to pop over and see it for herself, to actually meet CC as opposed to running passed her barrage of decoys. A light smile pulled at her lips as she made up her mind to push passed the exclamation and walk into the conversation regardless. "With a line like that, sounds like I missed something possibly amusing..." she quipped, teasing coating the tone of her voice.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She gave Zo's *** a squeeze and stepped away with a wink. "Damn straight I like the dress!" 'I'd like it better on the floor' she finished off in her head, then turned to look at Pru with a blush and a grin, pointing at herself. "Allurist. Can't help myself." Then grinned wickedly. "And Zo's not married, and yours will be done soon enough. So no harm done right!"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She turned as she heard a voice and smiled at the unknown woman, nodding to her politely - she was after all, the hostess with the mostest. She held her hand out to the new woman and smiled. "Hi. I'm CC. And you are?"
<Prudence> Prudence turned around at the sound of a new voice and then turned back after sizing her up. The woman could be a threat, but there were a few of them and so far one of her, so she opted for what had just gone down. "Well, she's bound or something to Tempy!" Prudence glared at her mini-vamp. "So ya can't be feeling all up on her and stuff!"
<Aly> took hold of it in a shake. "I'm Aly. Nice to actually meet you, CC," she replied easily.
<Zodiac> brat! *she sent a tight thought directly to CC, then turned and nodded to the newcomer*

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Prudence> When CC went to go talk to the other woman, Pru walked over to Zo. "I'm sorry about that." She grumped. "She just does what she wants." She rolled her eyes.
<Zodiac> Oh, I know *speaks directly to her thoughts* Is flattering in a way I guess.
<Zodiac> won't wear this again if thats the reactions I am gonna get *laughs softly*
<Prudence> Pru blinked, not sure how to take that, so she processed it as something illogical and irrational. People could not just do what they wanted whenever they wanted to. Caused a lot off issues in her mind. "Uh, ok." Pru just shrugged and scooted to the other side of the boat, away from pretty much everyone. This was going to be a long night.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She smiled at Zo, complete innocence plastered on her face to not belie the telepathic message she'd just got calling her a brat. Then looked back at Pru, making a pretend pouty face at her while hiding her annoyance at the mention of Temperance. "But, I was letting her know how good and sexy she looked! It's the best compliment there is right!" She turned back to Aly and her face once more changed to a happy grin, taking her hand and shaking it enthusiastically. "Ohhhh! Nice to finally meet you in person. You were nice to me on the boards and stuff. It was appreciated you know!"
<Aly> Having pieced together what had happened prior to her arrival, she merely mentally shook her head though the outward appearance remained steadfast in her smile. The enthusiastic handshake was more than she'd expected, a light laugh escaping as she returned it with the same bravado that she'd given. "I try not to be a ***** most of the time, so I'm glad to know it was appreciated!" she replied, the laugh still falling freely, relaxing a bit more. She'd have greeted Pru, too, but she seemed to have migrated away from the rest so she made a note to do it later. "So, anything prompt the party or was it spur of the moment?"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "Spur of the moment. Thought we all needed something to do to relax and get to know one another with no weapons - except when we partake in the hunt, later. I think Pru's a bit antsy for that part though. Not sure she's used to being at a party...." She frowned and looked over to where the woman had gone, upset that she seemed to be isolating herself.
<Zodiac> No weapons? *she laughed as her hand slipped into her sarong and pulled out a well worn straight razor* like the credit card commercials say-don't leave home without it
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She looked at Zo and laughed, nodding. "Well, at least not drawn and brandished!"
<Zodiac> oh no. Discrete and to the point if needed *puts it back away*
<Aly> 's laugh eventually dwindled. "Are you expecting a large turn out?" she asked curiously, mind wandering back to the crow and the invitation. "Can't say I've met too many Sangues, or...most of the DoD women outside of the net."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She nodded appreciatively to Zo and then shrugged at Aly's question. "I honestly don't know. I know I'm not well liked, so that might put people off. And it's a little last minute too. But, you know. Just wanted to do something nice and relaxing. So it may just be we 5. It may be 25. Who knows. Either way - we'll have fun!"
<Zodiac> DoD? *sends a thought to the newcomer* what is that? Demons of Delight or something?
<Prudence> looked up at Zo and cackled before shaking her head. "Something Worthington has got going on in it." She pulls out her blade and starts cleaning the bed of her nails.
<Zodiac> What? Worthingtons? Oh great goddess, save me
<Aly> laughed again. "Yes, Worthingtons. Trying for something that the line seems to be lacking."
<Zodiac> Like what? Brains? Forgive my sarcasm, dear. The last time I was considered part of that lineage, I was not impressed
<Aly> Shrugging, she replied in kind. "Nothing to forgive. I wasn't a part of it for a long while for my own reasons, namely due to stupidity and the inability to hold a conversation without another jumping down your throat without actually reading what you'd said."
<Zodiac> Ah, a kindred spirit I see. Mine was more complex and stupid all in one. I was accused of something, produced volumes of proof I was innocent, but the ones who accused me refused to let the matter drop. Everything I was involved with afterwards had that accusation hanging over me thanks to them, including a possible seat on the council. I finally told them pound the entire deal up their collective asses and bother me not again
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She frowned at Zo, sure she'd told her about DoD and told her to join before. But she wasn't going to say anything, wasn't going to cause a fuss.
<Zodiac> Actually, I think my evidence only cleared me and not anything those 2 may have done in the shadows. Perhaps that is why they kept the spot light on me so long and hard. I may be a witch, but I got bored with the witch hunt they refused to quit running
<Prudence> tucked her red hair behind her ear and stood. "I got some things to do. I'll, uh be back." Prudence didn't wait to hear anyone say bye, or tell her she had to stay before the red head stepped off the boat and headed for the city.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She pulled out her phone and texted the woman who'd just left. "You'd better be! Won't be a proper hunt without you!" Then she looked up and smiled at the others. "So then, shall we continue the ***** about the fools we find ourselves lumbered with, or do we have some fun?"
<Aly> "I'm thinking fun is in order," she said with a sense of conviction. "I've had enough bitching of late to last me quite some time. I say we kick this thing off right."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "Damn right. You an allurist Aly? Or do you want some blood? From the vein or bottle if blood?"
<Aly> "I am an allurist, yes. I'm all set on blood for now, so I'll take something...alcoholic and strong if ya got it? Old habits die hard," she replied with a grin.
<Zodiac> *frumps a bit. wishing she could get drunk again* guess I am good as I am now
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She nodded her head and then looked over to one of the waitresses, making a couple of hand gestures to her and waiting for it to be acknowledged. It wasn't long before a woman came over with a tray that held two glasses of a cocktail and a small glass bowl of dark red circles. She offered a glass to Aly, took one herself and then with a smile, offered the bowl to Zo. "The drink is an Aunt Roberta." She grinned at the name and the history. "The treats there are something I.... persuaded a chef to make for me. It's little drops of blood, dried and smoked, with differing flavours. There shouldn't be anything in them that makes a vampire ill, but there is a taste other than blood. Plus, they're a different texture to try. I hope you like."
<Zodiac> *gives them a sniff* thank you *smiles*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She nodded and smiled kindly at the woman. "I had to try and get you, and others, something to treat yourselves with. I just hope.... well, we'll see."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Aly> accepted the glass with a smile, swirling it around a bit, then took a light sniff before taking a sip. The smile she'd had grew tenfold as she took another sip, and another, trying to place what was in it apart from the one bit she was most excited for. "Can't say I've had an Aunt Roberta before, but...it's damn good, and it has my favorite in it which is an added bonus! Thank you very much!" As she drank, she eyed the treats, curious about them. She'd heard of some making things such as those, and thought she might try one later. "How'd you come up with the idea to treat the blood like that?"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She shrugged her shoulders with a congenial smile. "I'm glad you like the drink. The bartenders are well trained and will make just about anything you want. This, or Champagne, is my favourite. As for the blood treats - The number of injuries I've had, with the number of scabs.... cause that's basically what they are, kinda gave me the idea when I was trying to think of something else that wasn't just a drink. Cause of course, I needed something that didn't have any additives - so the only way the chef and I could think of doing it, was with smoke. It just leaves the flavour, but nothing you wouldn't normally find in blood. Plus, they're that small - they should be ok. But this is the first time I've tried them on someone not an allurist. So...." Looks at Zo, a little concerned.
<Prudence> jumped on the boat with a bang that resonated profoundly. "Heya everyone." She waved to them all before she plopped down on chair, her arms crossed again.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> A scantily clad, VERY well muscled man approached Pru with a glass of blood and a little bowl of the treats CC had had made, offering them to her with a charming smile.
<Prudence> "Don't take candy from strangers, bitchface." Pru put a hand in his face, then wormed her way around him. "CC, what is that **** that dude is passing around?"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She sighed and looked at Pru in an exasperated fashion. "Pru, it's a party. I know all the people here and they're all employed by me. No-one is trying to hurt you in any way. And if you'd been listening - I was just explaining them to Zo and Aly. They're snacks I persuaded a chef to help me make. Try one. They're nice!"
<Prudence> "Oh. Well." She looked at the guy, finally letting her guard down towards him as she took one. "Thanks." She popped one in her mouth, then moved away from him. Far away as she worked on whatever this was she was supposed to be eating. "Wait. I'm not an allurist." She stopped chewing and glared at CC.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She glared back at Pru. "There's nothing left in it other than blood with a hint of smoked flavour. It's fine"
<Prudence> went back to chewing it with a shrug. If she got sick, that was on CC when her boat got blood and other nasty **** on it. Pru swallowed it down, grabbed her glock handgun out and started cleaning it, piece by piece. The crowd was tough tonight it seemed.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She watched Pru, a little hurt. She had tried to get to know the woman, tried to get in under her defenses - but still the woman snapped and treated her like an enemy. If it wasn't for the other night, when she'd seen the look on Pru's face as she was stabbed - she'd think the woman didn't give a ****.
<Prudence> "So what do people do at these things?" She looked up at everyone, wondering why they were all sitting around doing what seemed like nothing.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC nodded to Aly and Zo and then made her way over to Pru, sitting down beside her and looking at her with a frown. "Pru, how many parties have you been to in your life before?"
<Prudence> "Uh." She had to think for a few minutes. "None." She nodded, still cleaning her gun. "I'm a busy person. Ya don't get to be bad *** or top **** without hard work. Ya know that, CC. You worked hard to be a really good dancer. Ya just didn't sit there and stare at the pole."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "What did you do before you were turned? You didn't go to parties as a little girl?"
<Prudence> Prudence stood up after grabbing her gun and put it in her skirt's waist band. She was obviously bothered by the question. "I did things. Like worked." She stared at the water, then blinked. "That stuff was good that guy gave me. I'm gonna go find him. You should sell that ****." She headed off.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC sat there and frowned at the woman, catching Verbena's eye and giving her the signal to go and see Pru with a bowl of the blood drops. She hoped that V might be able to loosen the woman's tongue and help her enjoy herself. Because obviously she wasn't the right person for it.
<Verbena> ((
http://s8.thisnext.com/media/largest_di ... 5ACCBB.jpg )) doubted that, from the little bit she'd overheard into, but she nodded at CC regardless. Of course Bena would at least try. She touched the waiter's back and smiled, offering to walk the blood balls around for him and moved where it'd be hard for Prudence to miss her. When Verbena smiled, she cradled the bowl to the woman. "There are really good. First time I'd ever heard anything like them. Would you like another?"
<Prudence> "Yuh, she should sell them, ya know? She'd probably make a killing." Pru looked at the woman she'd never seen before, shrugged and popped another in her mouth. "I mean not that she probably doesn't make lots of money, but she could make a lot more. You work for CC?" Pru asked after swallowing the blood ball down.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She moved across the room, mingling with her staff and the humans who were there simply as blood dolls, making sure everyone was ok. While she wandered and mingled, she made sure to keep an eye on Verbena and Pru, wanting to see how it all went. It was a test for V, especially after the window breakage the other night - but she also wanted Pru to actually experience a party and to have some fun.
<Verbena> "Oh, I agree! And it wouldn't be so much about raking in the money. Money's nice, but...no one else in the city would be selling them. It's better to be a hot commodity than an expensive one, in my opinion," Verbena smiled. "Would you like another one? And, yes, I work for CC. I'm sort of new at it, but I really like the job. I've been hoping to meet new people, since I'm new to the area."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC spotted someone else - Esme - climbing the plank to come onto the boat and she wove her way through the guests to greet them with a smile and a nod of her head. "Hi there! Welcome to the cruise. I hope you found us ok? My name's CC, and you are?"
<Prudence> Pru looked at the balls of red and then shook her head. "Better not. Gotta make sure everyone tries them. I think more people will come later." She looked around, then at the woman. "So you work at Silks, or on this thing?" Her eyes drifted from the woman to where CC was.
<Verbena> "Both, actually," Bena nodded. When the waiter passed, she handed him the bowl to retake to walk them around where the pair wasn't hogging them. "You're right. Better let it move around or I'll start eating a few myself. But, yeah, both. This my first time on the booze cruise, actually. At Silks, I'm a server. Have you seen that woman dance?" Verbena mentioned CC when she caught Prudence's glance in the woman's direction. She smiled. "I can't do all of that."
<Prudence> "Hell yah I've seen her dance. She's awesome. It's why I sired her. Grade A ******* potential right there. Only the best." She nodded her head, looking back at the woman. "DD's really good too, but I didn't really know of her when I decided to try my fangs out for something more than feeding. "CC 's amazing and kinda bad ***." She tucked more of her red hair behind her ear. "She was killing **** in raids and the sewers like no business when she was a vamp only a few weeks. She's a good mini-vamp."
<Esme> the petite woman smiled and gave a small wave when the other spoke to her. She obviously couldn't hear what was said, but she was well versed at lip reading. "I am Esme. Thank you for inviting us to your party. Its a lovely boat" She said telepathically towards the woman, as she stepped aboard rather timidly.
<Verbena> "Yeah! See what I mean?! That **** is really amazing. It requires so much skill and upper body strength. I didn't know all of that, though," Bena admitted, looking across at Prudence. She also didn't know who 'DD' was, but that was alright. "It's kind of hard to imagine CC outside of our usual settings like these...But now that you mention it, I can see her being capable of all that. Even more impressive when you consider those heels she stalks around in!"
<Diamond Dreamfire> had received a text from CC before she had woken for the evening. She was shocked to see that she was being invited to a party but thought this could be good for them. Getting dressed in a pair of Jeggings, black knee high stiletto boots and threw on a purple sweater. She found the address and quickly made her way to the party. Stepping on to the boat she only knew a few people. "Hey..."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She blinked as the words came into her mind, and she figured the woman was a bit like Zo, so smiled and offered her a hand to help her down. "You're more than welcome. Can I get you something to drink, or eat, or anything at all?" She spotted DD arriving and nodded, without smiling, to her as she continued to help and chat with Esme. However when a waitress walked by DD and whispered the word 'traitor' in her ear - CC didn't miss it and took note. That woman was in for it later, as that was not professional in the slightest, and she should know the rules.
<Prudence> "Yo, DD!" Pru threw a hand in the air to get her attention. "That's DD, right there. CC made her into a vamp." Pru's voice reflected a sense of pride when referring to the both of them.
<Diamond Dreamfire> glared at the waitress as she had passed by and whispered. She was knew when CC fired her and for such a word to be thrown at her was going to try her patience. Not acknowledging the woman, she walked over to Pru and smirked. "Hey Pru, kill anything good today?" She joined the group and looked at the two that she didn't know. "What's up?"
<Verbena> 's curiosity about who DD was was quickly fixed. Her eyebrows lifted in understanding and her smile quick to come up when the woman approached. "DD? I'm Verbena. It's a pleasure to meet you." Given that CC and herself didn't have much conversation time that ventured into anything 'personal,' she shouldn't have been too surprised to only just now meet her.
<Prudence> "Yep! Well, not really, but I got a gold gun and gave it to CC. It's somewhere." She shrugged it off. "What the **** have you been up to all night? Practicing for a show?"
<Esme> shook the woman's hand with a grin. "I can't eat or drink, unfortunately." she thought to he other before she glances around to the others. "No no, I don't need anything. I am just happy to be meeting new people."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She smiled and snagged a bowl of blood balls and offered Esme one. "You can eat these. Just dried blood with a hint of flavoured smoke. Nothing there to make you ill. I promise." She smiled in a friendly manner and then spotted someone else coming in. "Oh, excuse me for two secs." She handed the bowl to a sexy brunnette who stood by Esme and offered her a ball, then she went to welcome the unknown woman - Cree - who was coming up the plank. "Hi there! Welcome to the party! My name's CC, and you are?"

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Zodiac> *snaps back to reality. shakes her head. sits the bowl down and looks around. Spies DD has arrived and walks over* So how is BB and TT doing? *pokes her*
<Diamond Dreamfire> "Nice to meet you as well Verbena. Yes, I'm DD. Are you part of the family or a friend?" As Pru began to speak, she smirked over at her and shook her head. "I should be but I was down in the swears trying to kill those damn Paladins. The fuckers are tough." Her eyes caught the sight of Zo and she smirked. "Hey Zo...we still a weekend of mayhem to do. They are doing great. Still climbing poles."
<Zodiac> *laughs* yeah, leave it to me to find a dog and cat that copies your act. *nods to the other* hello
<Cree> She felt out of place in her sunglasses and her beach hat, but **** it all; she wanted to enjoy every moment on the boat. "Name's Cree. Nice to meet you, CC." Lifting her right hand to the side of her shades, she lifted the brown sunglasses from over her eyes and placed tucked them into the collar of her shirt.
<Prudence> Cree. Pru had smelled and spotted the woman as she approached the boat. Cree had a new car sort of smell, not that Prudence had been in a lot of new cars, but she had once thought about getting a jeep and test drove a brand new one. It was bad ***. Pru waved a hand in the air. "Yo, baby Sangue. Get your *** over here when ya got a free moment."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She smiled and offered her hand to Cree to help her down to the deck of the boat. "Well, you're more than welcome! Can I get you a drink? Something to nibble on? We have allurist and non allurist food and drink here. So nothing is a problem. Just ask."
<Verbena> "Friend," Bena answered and smiled. "Prudence, DD, it was a pleasure to meet you both. If you need anything, just call!" Slipping away from the three, Verbena straightened the front of her dress. She considered it...summerish with the metallic olive color. Summer in Canada, anyway. With Prudence and company well in the midst of speaking to each other, Bena skirted around the side. Yes, the 'blissfully lost' look was something that came naturally to her, especially when she wasn't. She ended up near Esme and broke the expression to truly smile, as though she only just noticed. "Hi! Are you enjoying yourself?"
<Cree> Arching a brow, she stared at the offered hand before snagging it and planting a kiss on the back. "Thanks! I'll make sure to eat a shitload then.”
<Diamond Dreamfire> "Yes, you picked them out well and I think it's great. Gives me entertainment when I'm not practicing myself."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She chuckled at the kiss to her hand and thought to herself 'two can play at that game'. She stepped into the woman and wrapped her arms around her waist before planting a kiss on her cheek. "You're welcome to eat as much of whatever you like. The staff are all aware of what's what."
<Prudence> "Cya." Pru realized she hadn't asked the woman her name and made a note to get it later before she stood, then rolled her eyes. CC was making out with the baby Sangue already, or so it seemed. So she turned her attention to DD. "We should go hunting together when you want to hit up the sewers hard and heavy." She reminded her about their hunting get togther sometime soon.
<Cree> Hell yeah. It was her kind of gathering. "You sure are friendly." She grinned and lightly patted CC's arm, her eyes straying to the other people aboard the craft. She'd gone into beach mode, flip flops and jean shorts, included. "We can make out later. Let's mingle."
<Diamond Dreamfire> nodded her had as Pru addressed her. "Damn straight. I'm good when you are. We can kill those assholes that keep attacking me."
<Prudence> "Hey, DD. Have ya met Cree yet? She's Scorp's new baby." Pru nudged her head in Cree's direction, then looked over at Zo to indicate the same thing to her. "I think she's an Allurist like DD and CC." She shrugged.
<Zodiac> Speaking of animals-excuse me *approaches one of the servers and gets her point across. a small plate filled with shrimp and fish* oh yes, *turns to the one called Cree* nice to meet you. I be right back *heads below to feed Ginny*
<Cree> Waving a hand toward Pru and the oncoming DD, she offered another smile. "Yeah. I'm...sure? I'll be here," she trailed off, blinking. "So yeah. I'm an Allurist."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She chuckled, guessing the woman hadn't heard of her. She let her go and winked at her, annoyed at how loud and crss Pru was being from the middle of the room. "Yeh, well, you'll soon find out my motto is 'everything has a price, and for the right price, I do everything'" She chuckled again. "These are all my guys and girls from my Gentleman's Club." She then led Cree over to the shouty Pru and the others, wondering if perhaps she could make a client out of Cree yet.
<Prudence> "Uh, bye Zo!"Prudence blinked at the sudden departure, over a cat. "That's all I really know about her. She crashes with me and a few other DoD ladies when I open a gate up." She shrugged, then held out a fist to fist bump Cree. "So what the hell ya been doing with your nights? Working, or killing ****?"
<Zodiac> *returns to the deck. aims a tight telepathic message at Pru* Ginny is not just a cat! Hell, she is more Sangue than most Sangue actually are!
<Zodiac> *comes back to the small group* hello again all
<Cree> "Hanging out with peeps," she shrugged, lightly knocking her left fist into Pru's. She didn't really want to talk about paying for services, not when she was stingy with her money. "Cliff told me he'd find me a job, but he's got a short attention span. No offense..."
<Diamond Dreamfire> "No, I haven't met her yet. Hey Cree...welcome to the nut house." She smirked at Zo and gave her a hip bump when she returned. "How have you been, babe?"
<Zodiac> *bumps back* not too bad actually. 2 years at this noise now. Think I finally getting it right
<Prudence> "I know. Ginny's bad ***." She nodded her head as she replied to Zo when she came back, then looked at Cree." Must have shot him too may times in the head." She shrugged.
<Zodiac> Ya think? sometimes I am amazed Cliff remembers who he is thanks to your brand of affections, Pru
<Prudence> cast an eye over to Zodiac. "He likes it rough." She shrugged again. "Not my fault he can't dodge a bullet, or ten." She cackled.
<Zodiac> I would hope so *cackles back*
<Cree> "Pleasure's mine." She laughed, placing her sunglasses back over her eyes.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She left the group to it and wandered around, pressing a kiss to V's cheek and giving her an encouraging smile and a nod. "Well, I think that's everyone... or certainly a good crowd at least." She made her way up to see the captain, glaring into the moon as she saw the hip bump between Zo and DD. She told him she thought that was everyone and so he set about casting off, steering the boat out of the docks and onto the river. CC came back down to the deck again and smiled at the group. "Well, if anyone would like to join me downstairs, I thought I'd give a little demonstration on the pole for your entertainment, and right after, Leo will be taking to the pole as well. Up to you if you watch either, both or neither of us though." And with that she continued on down the stairs to one of the poles she'd had set up, smiling at Leo as he welcomed her down.
<Zodiac> oh wow- showtime *laughs a bit*
<Prudence> "I'll come." Prudence shrugged and then scrambled to the stairs to make sure she'd take a very back row seat. She supported CC's job choice, but she didn't want to be part of her job tonight or any night. "But I'm not watching Leo." She disappeared down the stairs after CC.
<Zodiac> *feels the boat moving* woo! *looks at DD and Cree* shall we go?
<Zodiac> *follows Pru down below*
<Verbena> matched CC's smile with one of her own and she did the same, leaving the ladies of the party to talk amongst themselves. As CC descended, Verbena loitered behind to not only be the last one to pull up the rear, but also in the event any of the ladies decided not to.
<Diamond Dreamfire> "This will be interesting." At least she had thought to CC's announcement so she followed along with the crowd as she looked over to Zo. "So two years as your big bad self...we should celebrate. Take that weekend and run amok." She smiled as she walked down to the lower level and took a seat, waiting for the show to begin.
<Cree> Chewing on her lower lip, she looked out at the water and then toward the stairs. "Eh, sure. Why the hell not," she muttered, throwing her hands up in defeat. Removing her hat, she followed the others down the stairs.
<Zodiac> *looks back at Cree as they go down* oh its not that bad I think. *offers her hand* I am Zodiac
<Cree> Reaching out, she gave the woman's hand a slap for a low-five. "Nice to meet you. Jasmine calls you Zoey. I heard a lot."
<Zodiac> oh no, I have not seen Jazzy in a while. How is she doing?
<Zodiac> *slaps her hand back*
<Prudence> claimed a seat the furthest from the pole area after coming downstairs, then looks around the bottom of the boat area.
<Zodiac> Pru? It's not cooties. You won't catch nothing by sitting in the front *giggles*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She grinned as she saw most, if not all, of them come down the stairs. She shuftied her dress up her thighs and revealed her sequin covered string without even blinking, then nodded to Leo by the music. Once he saw her ready, he pressed play and 'Welcome to the Jungle' began to beat out, and CC began her show. This was for her family so it was a display of skill and strength as opposed to the titilation she would perform at the club.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_QR5dZ8xH4
<Zodiac> *howls with the intro to the song*
<Cree> Whistled and then leaned in toward Zo, "She's fine. She says hello."
<Zodiac> need to go remind her I exist soon *nods*
<Prudence> "Holy ****, CC." Pru blurted out and then stood up and clapped. Her mini-vamp rocked the **** out of that pole and did **** she'd never be able to do.
<Zodiac> holy hell! *applauded*
<Diamond Dreamfire> watched every move that CC had made and smirked. When the show was over, she clapped and waited for the human to take the pole and show what he had to offer.
<Zodiac> impressive. I tried that once. Ended up right on my head. Ouch
Verbena cupped her hands around her mouth and wolf-whistled from the back where she stood behind the party. Clapping, she agreed with Prudence, and always had. That sort of skill and athletic display was reserved for a very small number of people and CC was one of them.
<Zodiac> or I spinned to the right and ended up going east cause I lost my grip on the pole. ouch again
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She finished her dance and gave a little bow, grinning as she pulled her dress back down and stepped off the podium. Leo then swapped places with her and walked onto the podium, taking up his position, while smiling at the ladies in his heels, little shorts and see-through top. Where CC's dance had been about her skill - his was about titilation. He was there to entertain and excite, right before the hunt was to take place so that their lust would be high. He nodded at CC, and she pressed play, before leaning against the wall and watching the routine she'd helped to choreograph.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlwazlVqiGo
<Verbena> It wasn't much different than when in Silks, in those quiet moments where Verbena would pause on her way to a table in need, drink tray in hand. Male or female, the dancers were incredible. At Leo's first take on the pole, she smiled and whistled again just over the music.
<Diamond Dreamfire> sat and watched the human. She knew what he was doing and she wasn't going to let it affect her as she wasn't interested. Maybe Sean would be and she should have brought him along, give him a play toy but he was at home hacking which seemed to be his new found interest outside of drag. She stood up and found a drink for herself and drank it down before grabbing another. Turning she watched the rest of the show and clapped when he finished. She had to give him credit...for being human...he wasn't bad.
<Prudence> looked at the human, snorted and then looked over at DD and Zo to try and pass the time until he finished his act. She clapped, only because DD was clapping, which told her his show was done.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She was a little annoyed that DD and Pru hadn't bothered to watch the whole thing - especially DD, because where was the professional courtesy?! She didn't say anything however, simply clapped and cheered for Leo herself, telling him how well he'd done as he walked back over to resume his DJ duties. She walked back over to V, letting the ladies chat amongst themselves and mumbled. "We're about to dock in the lake in the East of the city for a hunt. You want to join us as opposed to staying on the boat? You're more than welcome if you'd like."
<Verbena> Color her surprised--which would probably come in a metallic olive sort of color, anyway--but she hadn't been expecting the offer to actually join in. It went beyond serving duties, or escort duties, so far as she could tell. Verbena smiled and nodded, glancing across CC's face in a quiet habit of gauge the sincerity--she was so used to doing it to Vigilant. "Sure, absolutely. -- Hey, CC?" she caught her before she walked off and got too far away. "Thanks."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She smiled and nodded, genuinely, at V, whispering "See if you can't liven this lot up a bit. They seem a bit flat." Before slipping upstairs to help the captain with the anchor when they got to the middle of the lake.
<Diamond Dreamfire> looked up at CC as she spoke with Verbena as she could only imagine the poor girl was getting orders. She pulled out her cell phone and sent a text to Mordie. 'Hey...you should fly over and join us..We are on a boat somewhere in the middle of the lake.' She looked up at Pru as she put her phone back in her pocket and sipped at her drink.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Verbena> And how she was expected to do that, she didn't know. Bena followed CC up with her eyes before she pulled away from her station against the wall and made her way through the room. "Ladies," she asked, "is anyone interested in a drink?" Glancing between the faces, she offered a smile. "DD, are you good on yours?"
<Diamond Dreamfire> "I could use another, thank you."
<Verbena> "I couldn't help but overhear, earlier, about the things in the sewers attacking you. Does it happen often? I have the worst luck when it comes to trying to get past them," she started, making the woman--and herself--a drink. She walked it over to her, taking a sip of her own.
<Prudence> "No thanks. I can't wait to ******* land or whatever it is it's called and hunt!" Prudence got out her gun again and did a quick check of it. She made sure the clip was filled and played with the slide a couple times. Then she nodded her head approvingly.
<Verbena> "Speaking of, do you know what it is we're hunting?"
<Diamond Dreamfire> nodded her head. "Yeah it happens daily but Pru and Mordie are working with me on that to get better. I'll get there." She let Pru and Verbena talk as she wasn't exactly sure what CC had planned and knowing her...it can be anything.
<Prudence> "Uh, no?" Pru scratched at her cheek. She hadn't thought that far. "Hopefully something bad ***. Like Paladins. Ever try and kill a fae? It's ******* impossible, but a pretty awesome challenge." She shrugged.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC suddenly had a brainwave, or fart depending on your point of view, and realised that two people wouldn't see her invite as they'd left the board. One hand wound the anchor down as her other retrieved her phone and sent a text to Aura and Every. "Hey. Weekend long party on my dime. We're just docking the boat at the lake to the East of the city to go on a hunt I've arranged. You should come and join us, stay the day and then tomorrow night we sail all the way to the West and back. Ladies weekend, you know? Anyways. Would be good to see you soon. CC. xx" With that sent, she placed it back into her pocket and continued sorting out the boat.
<Verbena> was in the same boat with DD. She looked at the woman and smiled. That was where she was: working to get better at holding her own. So when Prudence said she hoped the hunt was for something badass, like Paladins or a 'fae'--whatever that was, she'd ask Roy later--she knew she was going to end up on her *** and embarrassed.
<Every Andras> Every had been relaxing with Azariel for most of the 'morning' before she went on her usual break and entering runs to gather more crafting materials. As she heard her phone go off while rounding a corner, the brunette carefully tucked herself into the shadows before reading it and sending a text in return. 'I'll try to make it, but I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to on such short notice. Maybe give me coordinates later on and I can try to teleport... at least I can walk on water if I miss by a few feet. Thanks for the invite, CC.'
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC looked at her phone as it went off and then checked with the captain for the co-ordinates of where they were. Once she had them, she sent a reply off to Every and hoped to see her. Then she made a call to her employees to make sure everything was set up and ready for them.
<Zodiac> *snaps out of it again* where are we now? *gets up and looks out a porthole*
<Verbena> finished her drink and put the empty glass on the bar. "We're supposed to be anchoring for a hunt, I think. Are you excited?"
<Zodiac> me? *laughs* depends on what we hunting. Hi. I saw you earlier but did not catch your name
<Verbena> "Apparently your guess is as good as ours! Hi," she smiled and offered her hand. "Verbena, and you are?"
<Zodiac> Zodiac *shakes the hand* as long as it isn't rabbits
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> Getting the ok from her employees, she skipped down the stairs with a grin - no mean feat in her shoes - and looked around all the faces there. "Well, looks like the hunt is on ladies. If you're ready, or would like to make your preparations, then join me on the deck it would be much appreciated. Once everyone is there, I'll explain what's about to happen." With that, she went back up the stairs again - bouncing happily - and over to the edge of the boat, looking out at the bank that was just a vampiric jump away.
<Zodiac> *heads back to her spot to change into something more suited to hunting*
<Verbena> "That'd be...insulting and one of the best April Fool's pranks I've ever heard of," she shook and let go. "Nice to meet you, Zodiac." Bena opened her mouth to say more, but CC's excitement cut her off. She couldn't help but grin and held her hand out to the stairs to let the other ladies board up to the deck first.
<Diamond Dreamfire> wasn't sure what to do or talk about. She sat down and started to play with the necklace around her neck that had the initials C. D. M. artistically meshed together. Her eyes looked around the room as she sipped from her drink.
<Zodiac> *comes up on deck in her more normal attire* something is gonna die *sings softly in her mind*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> There was no-one else on deck at that point, so when she saw Zo she smiled, extended her fangs and made a biting motion that was just for her.
<Prudence> stood up when people started talking about getting off the boat, more or less. Prudence nodded her head to Leo, then climbed up top and looked around. She'd never been this far out, she thought. "Woah." She muttered, then looked around the immediate area to see who or what would greet them once they parked the boat.
<Zodiac> Are you what I hunting? *slips her gun out of her back holster* Bang! *laughs*
<Verbena> followed up behind them, doing it nice and carefully until she conquered the steps.
<Zodiac> *looks around the dark area around them* woah! Bum-**** Egypt. Population-us!
<Diamond Dreamfire> looked around as everyone started making their way to the deck. She stood up and followed suit while she continued to play with her necklace. Once up top, she looked around for the harpy eagle and frowned when she didn't see him. She looked to the girls and dropped the necklace as she joined them.
<Zodiac> *sings into the other minds* Hunting tigers out in India! Out in, ou in, out in India-YA!
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> In her mind she replied to Zo, wishing it could be sent to her, thinking "No need to hunt, you already have me" - but she couldn't telepath it and she couldn't say it either, because others had emerged from below decks then. Only three had emerged, and she wasn't surprised nor insulted, she just smiled and nodded before explaining what she'd done in the hours before she'd boarded the boat. "Out here in the wilderness, there are humans of various sorts. Hunters, Paladins, Gangsters, Blood Thieves and your plain old Vanilla human. Earlier today, they were all tranquilised and transported out here and left in a safe and comfortable location. Not the same place as one another, each is in a different location." Finally DD emerged from the hold and CC simply nodded. "It's our job, to find each of these - one of each sex so 10 in total - and do as you will with them. All are armed - extensively - and all are pissed." She smirked, not knowing that for sure but being pretty certain of it. "So, who's up for some fun then? Teams, individuals or as a gang?"
<Zodiac> question-when did we get 10 sexes? *laughs* sorry, was just the way you said that
<Prudence> shot a hand up. "Me, **** yes, me!" Prudence moved over by DD and Zo and fist bumped the both of them. "I'll do whatever."
<Zodiac> She said 'one of each sex so 10 in total ' when did we get 8 more?
<Zodiac> or when do we get 8 more? *shuts up*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> Sighs and just looks at Zo in a bemused fashion.
<Zodiac> Well? if there is 8 more I am seriously missing out
<Verbena> couldn't really help but laugh. She nodded along with Prudence, but didn't say so. Of course she would do whatever. It was up to what everyone else wanted.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She wouldn't say anything, and she certainly wouldn't let it show in the slightest - but she was hurt by Zo's mockery of what she'd said. She'd worked hard on this and taken a lot of risks to get it done. All so they could have some fun. Now the fun was being poked at her because her phrasing had been off just a little. She looked at their faces, one by one, trying to ignore what she felt. "So, how do you want to hunt then?"
<Diamond Dreamfire> fist bumped Pru in return and smirked. "Looks like we get to work together soon than later. I'm down..." She looked back at CC and nodded as she grabbed her sword.
<Prudence> "I think we should do teams. Gangs can get kinda sloppy."
<Prudence> shrugged after thinking on it for a little bit.
<Zodiac> you guys team. I'll go solo. I do better alone *nods*
<Zodiac> *checks her loads*
<Verbena> smiled at CC and began stripping her heels off. Leaving them in a little pile, one stacked on the other, she wiggled her bare toes in preparation.
<Zodiac> *turns and whistles. a few moments later, the large black cat emerges from below. walks up to Zo and jumps up on her shoulder*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC chuckled at V as she removed her shoes, amused that she wasn't used to hunting in heels like CC was.
<Prudence> looked over at Zodiac, frowned a little then shrugged. "Whatever's clever." She jumped up on the rail after putting her gun in her skirt's waist and balanced herself on it in a perching position.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "Well, by my calculations - they should have woken up about 15 mins ago. Plenty of time to get their bearings, come to their senses and what not. So I would say - go!"
<Zodiac> *reaches up and covers the cat's back. gives CC a wink before teleporting out into the darkness*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She watched Zo go and smiled at getting some sort of recognition from her all night - then scolded herself for thinking and emotionalising like a schoolgirl. Still, if Zo thought she'd be allowed to go out there alone - she had another thing coming. CC planned on trying to find her, just to make sure she was safe.
<Zodiac> *already on the trail of something. wrapped in shadows and following the cat as it padded silently in the darkness*
<Zodiac> *watches the bloodthief laughing at Ginny's antics. picks their pockets while distracted*
<Prudence> didn't wait after Zodiac teleported. Prudence grabbed the railing of the boat, hands under the rail, took in a deep breath in and disappeared with a kick off the railing. She let go of the railing after her body completed three-fourths of the spin and dropped to the sand below the boat. "Come on DD!" Pru waved a hand with a cackle, then took off to the East.
<Zodiac> *whistles softly. as the man turns she smiles and winks and unloads both barrels into him*
<Diamond Dreamfire> watched everyone as they were able to vanish, making it easy to get to shore. She growled as she looked around, not really having powers to help her travel. Climbing up to the tallest point of the boat as she stripped out of her clothes and shoes, kicking them do the deck, she concentrated and turned into a Japanese Dwarf Flying Squirrel with meaner things. She leaped off and glided through the air hoping she would make it before she hit water. What she didn't count for in her attempts was that she would be without a weapon.
<Zodiac> *stands up holding a severed head. gives a telepathic roar* first blood is MINE!
<Malign> might have taken too long getting her things together and actually meeting up with Zoe--it was probably that guy with holes in his chest that she was worried about. No doubt was he what she was, but he was so confused and so sad. She hated leaving him there by himself. Whatever the cause for their lateness, by the time Zoe and Malign reached the dock described on The Crow, there was no boat. She almost said something about turning around--Lord knows she wanted to get back to that guy and make sure he wasn't passed out--when she caught sight of a boat, presumably, THE boat. Her eyes were much better than they had been a few months ago and how in the world could she miss Pru's bright hair? It was impossible. "I think that's them," she said to Zoe, nodding her head back towards the shoreline. "Maybe we can catch up," she suggested.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC couldn't help but laugh after she saw DD turn into a ******* squirrel. She turned to V and nodded towards the rodent and chuckled as she spoke. "You think we should take her some clothes and a weapon? Or will we leave her naked? Personally - I'm leaning towards naked myself."
<Zoe> glanced around, stopping just to the left of Malign, smiling lightly she nodded. "I think thats a good idea." She linked her arm in the woman's and pulled her along over to the shoreline, not going too fast, actually more of a small stroll along as she looked up at the sky and thought idly. "I wonder who is there that I know. I know I still have so many more to meet." She shrugged lightly and shoved her other hand into her pocket.
<Prudence> heard Zo's taunt and that only made the woman narrow her eyes and get serious. She wasn't built for tracking, but you didn't have to track if you brought the fight to you. Prudence waited until she was sure she was as alone as possible, then let a few rounds off in the air with her gun to try and draw attention to herself. Any, all, some, didn't matter. The red head crouched to the ground as she circled around a tree and bid her time for now.
<Verbena> "Naked," Verbena nodded, nudging her heels off to the side. **** no she couldn't 'hunt' like CC could, especially not in heels. "A weapon, though, would be really thoughtful. Want to help her out with that?" she grinned, climbing over the railing much like Prudence did to make the jump. She fell back in the sand on her butt and dusted her dress off when she stood.
<Malign> tightened the link on their arms, ever mindful of where the boat was. Until it finally settled near the shore, though difficult enough, not the shore they had their feet on. "Have you met Pru? I think she's there," Malign answered. She thought, because there might be more than one redhead in Worthington; she thought, because that might not be the same boat at all. "They stopped," she said, planting her feet firmly into the sand. "There's this new thing I've been practicing," she said slowly, barely pulling her eyes from the boat. "Don't laugh, okay?"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She raised an eyebrow as she heard Zo's shout - surprised and impressed she'd found someone so easily in this large expanse of wilderness. Her head looked to the shore where Pru had vanished into the trees when there were gunshots fired. She wondered if someone had managed to make it this far or what was going on. She nodded her head to V's comment and smirked. Elegantly, she ran at the bar and then cartwheeled across and flipped over the bar like a gymnast, landing effortlessly beside the woman in the sand and helped to dust her down. "You know, you should take me up on those lessons. You have a good body and you would find uses for all manner of what I could teach you."
<Zoe> raised a brow, stopping when the woman stopped, she shrugged softly and nodded. "I've met Pru, though just met, nothing really much more." She looked to the boat, nodding still, only slower and more softly. "Alright, no laughing. Sounds easy enough." Icy blue dragomir eyes slid from the boat to Malign as she studied her a moment, curiosity dashing behind those hues as she idly wondered what the woman was up to.
<Diamond Dreamfire> landed on shore but just barely. She stepped out of the water and shook off her paws before concentrating to shift back. Once she felt her back and realized her sword hadn't come with her, she cussed loudly. "****!" She growled and decided to make do with her hands as best as she could but couldn't help but hide behind a tree when suddenly shots were aimed toward her. "****!" She looked around to try and find and opening but they were trying to conceal themselves.
<Malign> shook her hands and made a few noises with her mouth. "Well, I've been practicing this thing where I teleport myself to and from places--it was a total accident at first, but now I've gotten pretty good. I've never tried it on someone else, but we could at least see if it works," she said. She was already rubbing her face, rolling her head around on her neck and doing a general shake of her body. Teleporting herself was hard enough. If she managed to teleport Zoe too, she couldn't imagine it being easy.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Zoe> blinked. "You want me to be your test rat?!" Her eyes got wide, as she swallowed dryly and bit her scarred lip where her fang had sliced into it on accident a couple nights back. "Lord help me, alright. Lets do this." She idly thought she could just jump to the boat, after all, she had super jump, but if Malign wanted to practice her powers she was far from going to stop her. She herself had some practicing to do, but she would rather train by herself than with anyone else - though for what Malign wanted to do she needed a volunteer and no one else was around to raise their hand and get her out of the situation. She teased her lip between her teeth and nodded, signaling she was ready.
<Verbena> "I'm already learning so much," Verbena answered, getting at the back of her knees. When she stood and smiled, she started walking into the dense jungle with CC. "I don't know. I can't work the pole and being watched for something so intimate is just that, for me...really...intimate. I wouldn't mind some dance lessons, though, for that reason," she nudged with a laugh. "But, as for the stage, I like to sing. I'm not so physical as I am vocal, and I don't know that there's a place for that up there."
<Malign> 's throat tightened a little. "WELL," she said a little loudly. "I assume if it doesn't actually work then nothing will happen. It's not like half of you will stay here and the other half will be there," she said, pointing. She didn't really know if that was true or not. When she glanced across to the other bank, she hardly saw anyone anymore. They had disappeared into the forest. "Okay," she said, shaking her hands again. She didn't even know how she did it. It was like she pictured herself somewhere and there she was! Malign closed her eyes and pictured the opposite bank with Zoe on it for several long seconds. When she didn't hear anything happen, she opened her eyes. "I guess it do--," she started to say. But Zoe wasn't there anymore. "Did you make it," she yelled across. "IN ONE PIECE?"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "Hmmm" She thought about it, sauntering lazilly into the forest and eyeing a naked DD who seemed to be dodging bullets coming from somewhere. "I don't see why dance lessons can't happen certainly. What sort of dancing exactly? And singing? Well, maybe let me hear you one night and I'll see if I can't think of something......" Her voice trailed off as suddenly there was a woman standing beside her she'd not seen before. She backed up a couple of steps and frowned, putting herself between the woman and V protectively. "Who the **** are you and where in the hell did you come from?!"
<Zoe> pursed her lips. She wasnt in the mood to argue, so she simple nodded and crossed her arms over her chest as she waited. Suddenly she heard yelling, as she blinked and looked around. Malign wasnt there, where she had been, instead someone else was as she laughed in surprise at being teleported. She blinked, tipping her head to the side, staring at the two she had apparently barged in on. "Well thats no way to say hello." She shook her head lightly though a soft smirk crossed her lips.
<Prudence> Her shots had seemed to cause some form of attention minutes later. Two gang bangers came her way, one woman, one male and both pretty well equipped with various weapons. A blade and a gun. Nothing she'd run away from and nothing she hadn't seen before. Prudence ducked down lowers, waited and then when the female swept her area, Pru pounced up with unseeable speed, kicked the woman in the back of her knee to send her to the ground, then shoved the blade she had straight into the top of her skull with a grunt.
<Malign> had a mini celebration on the beach by herself. That made her ability a little more interesting and a little less weird. (She counted it as something in the 'nice' column for later.) Going through the same process a little more quickly--because of the yelling--she concentrated again. This time, she pictured herself over there where Zoe was and prayed to God for a normal landing, no crashes. The first few times she'd done this, she had fallen through roofs, landed in trees and mostly just landed on her butt. It hurt. Just as with Zoe, after a few seconds with her eyes closed, it worked. When she opened them, she was on the other side of the beach with Zoe, CC and Verbena.
<Verbena> Roy could do that. Kind of. She'd only seen it once, but it was possible--the suddenly arriving somewhere. The difference was that it happened so fast, but Sara's eyes could still SEE it happening. She could follow where he'd come from, more or less. This woman, however, just...materialized. "Ho-****," she muttered, stumbling back a step when CC stepped in. She asked all of the questions that came to Bena's mind, except Verbena was softer in the face and more confused and curious than spooked, at least until the second one came. Pulling against CC's arm, she tried to turn them so that the could see both women at once. Bena's eyebrows knitted, because CC didn't seem to recognize either of them. God, Roy would beg Sara to shut up about all of the stuff she had to tell him from that night.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC spotted the other one as she was turned and raised an eyebrow at them both, her heels slowly sinking into the sand as she'd not managed to make it to the wilderness properly yet. She was still making sure V was protected, behind her, safe. Afterall, V was her worker and her responsibility. Hers. She looked from one to the other suspiciously, less shocked now but still suspicious. "Can we help you at all? This is an awful long way out to be teleporting yourself randomly isn't it?"
<Zoe> shoved at Maligns shoulder the second she felt she could, and not slip through her, a laugh on her lips as she silently approved of her teleporting powers. She turned back to the woman being incredibly rude, and lofted her brows. "Worthington Cruise, right?" She pointed a thumb at the boat in the water, then slipped her arm back to link it with Maligns again. Glancing to the two others, she bit into her lip, figuring she'd let Malign make any introductions and what not first - she started at the rude woman with dragomir slitted eyes as she leaned against Malign lightly.
<Diamond Dreamfire> was still dodging bullets which were beginning to piss her off all the more. She looked around for something and there was nothing that she could effectively use. Looking up, she smirked as the tree was good enough to climb. Pulling out her climbing and pole dancing skills, meshing them together, she took to the sky to get around the humans before she came down and landed behind them. Her eyes went wide as she was looking at a tattooed beast. A paladin. Just her ******* luck as she tried to over powered them and failed as she go shot. "GOD DAMN IT!! SON OF A *****!!!"
<Malign> cleared her throat. Tonight, she thought a posh English accent might sound best--so she tried. "Yes, Worthington Cruise as we were told. We saw it on The Crow and wanted to check it out. You see, by the time we reached the dock, the boat had already left," she explained. "We're part of the Dragomir's," she said, hoping that would make a click. Malign stared hard at CC and Verbena and before long, she was certain that they were both vampire. It seemed safe enough to continue with introductions. "Malign Dragomir, born of Eilidh," she said as if they were all royalty. "And Zoe Dragomir, born of Asher. The pleasure is ours," she said, putting out her left hand for a handshake--or whatever.
<Prudence> The other gang banger had heard the demise of his friend, or temporary ally, whichever it was and turned around, unloading a volley of bullets at Prudence, the woman cartwheeled out of the way of the hazerdous spray, but was knicked with the side of a bullet in her upper thigh as she ended the series of cartwheels. "Goddamnit!" She growled when she saw that her skirt had also endured some of the damage, then lunged herself at the gangster as he reloaded his clip to the automatic gun he possessed. A foot slammed into his gut, a punch to his face and a knee to his gut when he leaned down from the impact of each compact. He pulled his knife and slammed it deep into Prudence's side, the woman stunned for a brief moment. How had she not predicted that maneuver? Prudence snarled and shoved him off with another kick, this time to his chest, the blade going with him, before the woman decided to conserve her physical capabilities and went for something more on the unexplainable side. "**** you too." She looked towards a shadowed area beneath a tree, whistled and shoved a finger in the guy's direction. They skewerd through his abdomen, the man letting out a howl of pain before he laid there, lifeless.
<Verbena> peered up from over CC's shoulder and smiled wide at the accent. It was ridiculous...but amusing. Because laughing was rude, Verbena made herself better see and reached over CC's shoulder to hold her hand out. "Verbena Altaire. Born of, uh..." she trailed, then shook her head. Instead, she settled with a compliment. "I love that top."
<Verbena> held her hand out to Zoe after shaking Malign's.
<Zoe> blinked. She scowled ever so lightly for a hot second, but then scoffed a laugh at Malign's attempt at an english accent. She watched her stick her hand out and stepped forwards and to the side, accepting Verbena's hand and shaking it with a firm, strong handshake. After all, first impressions were important, right?
<Malign> shook Verbena's hand when it came into contact with hers. "Thanks," she said a little more quietly--and in her Canadian accent. "Twisted it myself," she added.
<Zoe> extended her hand to CC's then, tipping her head to the side lightly. "Are you always this rude to people you dont know?" She made note of Malign reverting back to her original accent, and smiled lightly. So far so good, she thought.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy!!!" Her attitude completely changed and she relaxed easily, moving out of Verbena's line of sight and finding something solid to stand on. "Sorry, had bad experiences with folks who have 'appeared' around me - usually resulting in me being dead! I'm sorry we left without you, but you're MORE than welcome to join in the rest of the weekend of fun!" She smiled and took each of the women's hands in turn, shaking them ferociously - but in a friendly way. "We're taking part..... Oh. I'm CC by the way!" She chuckled. "But yeh, this is a hunt. There are, were, 10 folks out here. 5 girls and 5 boys. All who've been kidnapped and transplanted here. The game - to hunt them down and kill them before they kill you. 1 is definitely dead, cause Zodiac got it. And it sounds like Pru has been kicking ***. **** knows what DD is up to, and there are others still on the boat who liked it there more than hunting I think. Not sure. But anyways...... Hi!"
<Prudence> Once both targets were dispatched of accordingly, Prudence decided to riffle through their pockets and scored some cash and some meth. "Lame." She had been hoping for a gun; the kind she had given CC earlier to replace the only one she had on her because she had been lucky enough to score it. "Lesson learned. Don't do drugs, dipshits. You'll die." She kicked the body of the male, then spit out the blood that pooled in her mouth from the stomach wound. The woman closed her eyes, focused on the source of the pain, the way it felt, where it hurt the most and then finally she no longer recognized the source of pain in her body. "Next." She called out and went deeper into the area.
<Malign> laughed. That was more like it. "Hi," she said back, but she didn't have any plans in killing anyone who was defenseless, or, however CC explained it. She didn't feel right. "Mind if I hang out around here or at the boat? I'm not much for killing--not very good at it," she said, adding the last bit back in her faux English accent.
<Zoe> blinked. What the hell...? This woman simply struck her as odd, instantly changing demeanor like that, as she blinked again and took a step back. "Yeah... I'm incredibly new at all this... Im thinking getting shot or stabbed at this point wouldnt be a good thing for me. I'll wait with you Malign." Her free hand slid to pat the other womans linked arm, nodding softly as she eyed the crazy-mood-swinging CC once more, then smiled warmly at Verbena.
<Verbena> watched the pair curiously before she looked up at CC, now that she was at least level with her height, if not more. "If you want to go on, CC, that's fine. I can stay here with the ladies and strike up a conversation." Besides, Prudence and the others were much more keen on the hunt. "And the whole stabbed thing isn't a lot of fun. Trust me."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> "Well, I have spare weapons if you want them? And there are some vanilla humans out there with guns and knives. I didn't know who all was coming - so I tried to cater for all skilll levels. So if you can find them - then there's no worries. Plus, kicking stronger *** than yours, is a steep learning curve. I learnt that one - Pru was damn proud of me for doing that you know. Plus, I won't let anything happen to you - you're my guests afterall, and I'd not be much of a hostess if you got hurt." She smiled, looking from face to face. "But if you really want - jump like only a vampire can onto the boat and my Leo will take care of you. He's the really tall blonde..." She looked at V as she spoke and nodded. "Well, someone needs to take a blade to naked DD. Especially if she plans on hunting...."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Malign> could teleport, but not jump very well. She was THAT girl on the basketball team in high school. "Thank you CC," Malign said and nodded her head once. She was back to trying to practice her accent. Her arm was still laced with Zoe's, though she waited for Verbena. "Is that your natural color," she asked.
<Verbena> Scrolling her eyes up and over, Verbena pulled on a blonde lock to hold it out away from her face. "This?" she asked, then smiled when she let it go. "Yes. My whole family had pretty light hair, so technically 'we get it from our momma.' Are you both fairly new?"
<Zoe> Her eyes shifted from CC to Verbena, then to Malign. "I am. Five days turned."
<Malign> "Your hair is beautiful and I'm incredibly jealous," Malign said when she could. She was about to ask exactly what Verbena meant by 'fairly new', but Zoe covered that question for her. "A month and a half," she said. "Or somewhere around there. And you," she asked.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She continued to cuss as she swiped out leg out and under the paladins to try and knock them down. She was in their sights and they weren't planning on letting her get away. Flipping backward to try and get to her feet again, she looked down at where she was shot. Her gut. Of course... She glared up at the pair as she tried to punch the woman only to get shot again by the male. She looked around and growled as she let her fangs drop and she latched onto the woman's neck, draining her while the man shot her again. "******* damn...knock it off!!"
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She saw that V had everything under control with the two new guests, so nodded her head and made her excuses and left. She really, really didn't want to do it - but she knew she had to..... so she went to find DD to give her the blade she'd brought for her. "DD! Yo! DD! Where the **** are you you dried up, stanky ****?!"
<Verbena> "About the same, yeah! Two months, or so. Honestly, I lose count. I'm new the area, too, so time goes by pretty fast in trying to learn everything on top of...everything, if you know what I mean. You're both...how did you say it? Dragomir? Is that an extension of Worthington, or something?"
<Malign> "It is! Held together by our loving and faithful, Nikolae. Or started, because I've never actually seen him. Superbia is kind of the head of Dragomir now, I think. I don't know any Dragomir she answers to," Malign said. "But don't quote me on that. And you said you're what? Altaire?"
<Zoe> She smirked lightly, "Yes, I completely understand what you mean. Ive been having Every shove information down my throat every chance I get." She looked back to the boat, wondering if they were going to jump to it soon, she'd love to sit down.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She heard CC's voice and the words that slipped from her and growled as she tried to kick at the guy. "I am not dried up and stanky. Christ...get the **** over it. You, Mordie, and I need to have a ******* meeting but first...can you ******* help me before I don't make it through the evening."
<Verbena> She didn't care either way about the boat and, unfortunately, that left her not in-tune with the other's wants. That, and the fact that she had other things on her mind. "Yes! Yeah. Altaire. It's an extension of Gregori," she nodded. At least, that was what she heard when Roy told her about it. "Are there a lot of little factions within main lines? Like uh...d'Artois. That's an extension, too, right?"
<Malign> Malign hadn't heard of the d'Artois in her search for history; she mostly only knew about the main lines and Dragomir. "I'm not sure! Who is their leader," she asked.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She followed the woman's voice carefully, making adjustments in where she was headed for trees and for the sound of the voice. Finally she emerged and found DD struggling against one and a half paladins. "What in the ****! Thought you were with Pru!" Grumbles and drops into an offensive stance, running forwards to easily slice through the female, finishing her off and then rounding on the man. She tossed a blade to DD so she could defend herself and help, then began to strike at the Paladin male hard and fast, obviously taking him by surprise.
<Verbena> "Well, I'm not sure, but I'd like to know! See, I don't know many people in this city. There's my maker, and the Altaire. And now you guys, pretty much. And CC, some other Worthingtons. But, I met someone. He said he was a d'Artois and I kind of want to...just make sure that's a safe route for me to take before I get too involved with him, if you know what I mean."
<Malign> "I get you," she said. She looked over to Zoe then. "Do you know who the d'Artois are? Has Every told you about them," she asked. She was tempted to get out her phone and text Eilidh.
<Superbia> glanced down to the pocket watch she'd fashioned into a necklace - held by a silver chain about her neck - her thumb carefully expressing the button that popped it open so she could scrutinise the time. Nostrils scrunching, she closed the watch face and teleported herself to the boat she’d been told they’d be at. "Laaaaadies!" She called out, after she’d materialised, looking around for them all.
<Zoe> She made a look as if to silently say 'Dont ask me', though her lips curled in a soft smile. "Im not too fond of my sire myself... if I can call him that. I havent heard from him since the turning. Every's been taking care of me." She turned to Malign, "I dont, though Im assuming they are a line under the Worthington's since this is a Worthington gathering." She shrugged lightly against Malign, leaning into her more heavily. She blinked, hearing Superbia on the boat, she smiled and waved broadly to her. "BEE! Down here!"
<Malign> "Oh--" she stammered, trying to right both herself and Zoe from the outburst. "Bee," she called out, as if she had cast a blinding spell on herself. "Where are you my sweet, sweet Bee?"
<Verbena> Both of Verbena's eyebrows lifted under the shag of blonde hair. Running her head through, she shook it back out of her face and smiled in a few directions for the source of the voice. "More family?"
<Malign> "Mhm! The Queen Bee, so to speak," Malign said. "Superbia."
<Zoe> "She has been helping me too."
<Superbia> Making her way down towards the other voices, she carefully dragged fingers through her hair - the glossy clear nail polish reflecting in whatever light illuminated the boat. She wore a simple pair of gloss on matt shorts in ivory, a brocade design adding elegance to the piece - along with a pair of heels, a blouse and a charcoal coat. "How is everyone doing?" She asked as she finally caught sight of people, a smile tugging at her lips.
<Malign> "Fantastic," Malign said. Again, she tried her English accent.
<Zoe> She blinked at Malign's response, again with the accents! She grinned at her, at her attempt at least. "Im alright." She tipped her head towards Verbena. "That's Verbena, we just met her not a few minutes ago."
<Verbena> "Superbia?" she asked, giving a minor glance in Malign and Zoe's directions before she smiled in greeting. "It's nice to meet you. I'm-- Right," she laughed. "Verbena Altaire." She felt that was important, in some way, given that she was the only non-Worthington or sub thereof. God forbid she be mistaken on accident and she be shoved into a situation she didn't know how to deal with.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She glared up at CC as she ran in. "I don't know where she went. I lost her obviously." Breaking free of the woman as was killed and then caught the blade that was being tossed at her. "Weapons...what a fancy idea. Really need to figure out how to be in animal form and carry those too. ******* hell...the smallest animal on the planet...my luck." She grumbled as she turned and CC was finishing off the male. She took the time to take a break and look over her wounds
<Superbia> For a brief moment, she thought Malign might have been mimicking her North London accent (one she'd picked up with the new body), and she considered sticking her tongue out at Malign, but Zoe's comment made her think that Malign was just trying out different things. She wrapped one arm around either woman in a half hug each before she offered a honey smooth grin to the woman she didn't know. "Oh, one of Nix's brood. Send my love to her when you speak with her next. She and I are friends of sorts." She then glanced over to DD "Sparkle!" It was a new nickname, thought up just then.
<Verbena> Which was unfortunate, given she and 'Nix' weren't. Verbena settled on a smile and brushed more sand from her knee as a means of minor distraction--from her brain. It kept circling the same few pieces every so often; a little bit of family, a little bit of Roy, a little bit of situation, and a little bit of work.
<Malign> "Bee, we were just talking and maybe you could help us out here. What are all the factions of Worthington? Other than us, Dragomir?"
Zoe smiled at Superbia and then Verbena, taking note on how quiet she had gotten at the mention of 'Nix'. Yes, she understood that, she herself wasnt keen on elaborating with Asher unless she knew them. She silently leaned against Malign, resting her head on the womans shoulder lightly.
<Verbena> "Would you ladies like to return to the boat? Superbia, there's a hunt happening in the thick of the woods. Zoe, Malign, and I decided to sit it out, but you're welcome to join them if you'd like. For any allurists, we have drinks available, and some food that's even non-allurist friendly. We can sit and speak there, or stay here if you'd rather."
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> CC looked around her and DD, at the wilderness they were surrounded by and so far from the boat and shook her head. "You know what else you need to learn to carry DD.... clothes. You clocked yet that you're naked?" She smirked and looked around. "You think Pru and Zo are ok? They're out there somewhere too. Alone. Fighting. We've got these two" She kicked at the dead man she'd just finished off and glanced at the woman. "I'm sure I heard Pru kill another one, if not two. And Zo got one. That means there's at least another 5 out there somewhere."
<Malign> "Whichever," Malign said to Verbena. She put her hand up on Zoe's head and carefully pushed some of her hair out of the way--like they had been sisters for years or old friends for just as long.
<Superbia> She also noted the brief note of silence to accompany the name 'Nix', and she left it at that, unsure exactly the nature of the issue there, whether good or bad. "Well there are the Dragomir, headed by Nikolae and myself - then there are the Andras, headed by Micah. The Sangue are led by Scorpia. There were once the Argent, who I believe are defunct and they were led by Liam Goodryke, formerly known as Silver Argent." She tilted her head in consideration. "There were others at one point, like the Bowstrong and so forth." She decided to leave it at that before the next topic came up. "I'm good with going wherever." She commented
<Zoe> She nodded at Verbena, smiling broadly as Malign had brushed hair out of her face for her. She idly thought to her girlfriend, her human girlfriend, that she would never see again - but dashed those thoughts away as she looked to the boat but didnt move her head from Maligns shoulder. "I'd love to. C'mon Malign, teleport me to the boat so I dont have to jump." She grinned over at her, leaning and smiling.
<Diamond Dreamfire> "I knew that I was missing clothes. Those are on the deck of the boat. I am too small when I shift to carry them with me. I can't help it. Something must have went wrong. I was supposed to be big and vicious...not...small and cute. I fit in peoples pockets..." She grunted in frustration as she stomped her foot on the already dead paladins face since he kept shooting her. Didn't do any good really but it helped her frustration...barely. Looking around as CC mentioned Pru and Zo. "I think their okay. They are older and wiser in the vampire ways than we are. I'm sure they won't have issues like we might but five...hmm....any stronger than what we just got rid of?"
<Verbena> Barely giving the boat a second glance--mostly for the sake of judging how awkward it was going to be to make the jump to get back up on it in a dress--Sara smiled when Superbia explained the different factions. From there, her attention was stolen. The names were hard to keep up with, but she was getting the main idea. "Since Zoe's keen on it, would you mind sitting and answering a few more questions? I was hoping to learn more about the Gregori," she said, toes sinking in the soft sand of the shore when she took a little step to adjust her weight and stance.
<Malign> "Okay," Malign said excitedly. "I can do this new thing Bee. It's stupid, really. But," she said, stopping her sentence there so she could concentrate. A few seconds passed and she no longer felt the weight of Zoe's head on her shoulder. "Look. At. That," she said, gesturing to Zoe, who was now on the boat.
<Superbia> Glancing towards the boat, she couldn't resist the urge to be just a little bit devious, and so she let her hand slide into Verbena's (the concept of personal space was nearly non-existent for Bee), and suddenly, the two of them were floating a couple of feet above the nearest furniture. Of course, gravity, being what it was, they were sprawled a moment later and Superbia was all laughter until the question posed had sunk in. "Oh! Oh I'd be happy to answer whatever you ladies have in mind." She said, shifting about to sit up right.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> Shrugs. "I don't know how strong they are. I just darted them and then the staff moved them out here...." She frowned and looked around the seemingly silent woods. "I think.... I think I'm going to go looking for Zo....... and Pru" she added on as an after thought. "You should go back to the boat, make sure the others are all ok. Host and stuff. I'll find the others and we can get rid of the final five then come back to the boat. Yeh?"
<Zoe> Blinking she grinned, being on the boat again. She called down to Malign, "C'mon!" As she found a comfortable enough looking couch to sit on and looked over at Bee with a soft smile. "Im glad you came. I havent seen you in a minute." She crossed a leg over at the knee as she waited for Malign to join her.
<Malign> Now left alone on the beach, Malign was once against tempted to dart back to the fellow she left injured. She didn't even know his name. Malign pushed the toes of her boots a fraction down into the sand and concentrated, mere seconds later she appeared on the same sofa as Zoe, legs crossed. Her landings were definitely improving.
<Diamond Dreamfire> "Are you sure?? You fired me so I wasn't sure if you would trust me with something like that. Especially since you seemingly have tried to replace me already." She shook her head again as she kicked the mans body and sighed. "Yeah, I'll go. if you need help then ring me. I have my phone on the boat." She turned and made her way back to the beach to swim out to the boat.

<Zoe> She blinked, then smirked at Malign. "You're good at it. Cant believe you didnt tell me you were, and led me to believe I was some test subject of yours."
<Malign> "Well! I've never done it to someone else before," she explained. "That was my first time! And it takes a lot of concentration," she said.
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She snorted softly to DD's back. "You are replaced, there's no 'trying' about it. V's in charge back there, you can just help." She then turned in the opposite direction and wandered deeper into the woods, off to find Pru and more importantly Zo.
<Verbena> How was it that other vampires had the coolest powers and yet Sara could only make them happy or sad, she didn't know. Roy was right there along with them, too. When she landed on the seat, Verbena shoved her hair out of her face and laughed, toes still gritty from the sand. "How did you guys learn to do that?!" As for her questions, they weren't important at the moment.
<Zoe> Zoe shrugged, she didnt know either, but at this point, being so new, she figured she had more important things to ask like what were wraiths and raids.
<Superbia> settled into her seat, knees carefully drawing together so that they could angle towards the arm of the couch one ankle tucked behind the other while she smiled towards Malign and Zoe, happy to see that those in her lineage were getting along. She was ultimately a very simple woman in that regard. Her people being happy made her happy. "Well I learned it a couple of years ago, back when I wasn't such a pacifist."
<Malign> "I learned it a couple of weeks ago," Malign added in.
<Verbena> Verbena leaned down to rub the sand off her manicured toenails and from between her toes. Picking her head up, she smiled between the both of them before sitting up from the dusting. "I'm envious, I'll be honest." The music was better heard there on the boat, but was still low enough to not be that intrusive. Leo the human and DJ stand-in knew his stuff, so far as Sara could tell. "So, the Gregori...What are the small factions within that line? I only know about Altaire."
<Diamond Dreamfire> She pulled herself up onto the deck of the boat and grumbled about CC's words. She was being a ***** about the situation still and it was irritating the piss out of DD. She groaned as she slipped her clothes back on and checked her phone. Shaking her head as she slipped her phone as she sighed and looked around. She really wanted to stab something.
<Superbia> leaned so that she could grasp one of her knees with woven fingers, her head tilting so that hair draped over one cheek and she could peer towards Verbena. "The Grigori? Well there are also the d'Artois, whom I've only had a few interactions with. Pi and Elliot are awfully nice as I recall. Though Pi and I were on the same side of a conflict once." She paused, trying to recall the others. "I umm...hrm. I'm not really sure there are any other distinct groups. Maybe Echo and Malachai? They seem the sort to do their own thing." She then caught sight of DD (or heard her rather). "Sparkle! Come and join us."
<Zoe> Looking to the woman who had just come up on the deck, she blinked. Well then. Did she make it a habit to always walk around naked, she wondered. She couldnt help but stare, blinking before she pulled her gaze from her and leaned against Malign, her new best friend. She idly wondered where Cree was, if the woman would join them, but pushed the thought away and sighed contentedly against Malign.
<Verbena> She nodded in time with each of Superbia's recallings. When she called out, Verbena glanced up for sight of her, smiled at the nothing she saw, and looked back at the woman beside her. "Pi d'Artois? That name sounds vaguely familiar...And I've heard of Elliot's. He owns the Necropolis and that musical supply store, right? What are they like, aside from being awfully nice? Or, the d'Artois in general. Is it a fairly large faction?"
<Diamond Dreamfire> She looked up at 'Bia as she called out for her. She loved her nickname from her though she wondered how many times the growly family members teased her about being a twilight vampire when she wasn't even close. She smiled up at her as she approached them. "Hey 'Bia. Did you just get here?"
<Superbia> drew herself up to stand - if only for a few moments so that she could slip over to DD, and wrap the woman into tight hug. She released her a few seconds later and then resumed her seat. "Yeah, I just got her a little bit ago. We're having a question and answer session it seems." She said before her attention returned to Verbana. "Elliot owns a place called Lancaster's. It was once part of the Necropolis but split off. We should go there sometime." Came the comment. "I'm not sure how large they are." Shoulders shrugged. "I don't imagine they're too big or I'd run into more of them. I recently handed out some keys for them in that month long raid...but I don't think I counted exactly."
<Diamond Dreamfire> She embraced 'Bia as she stepped close and wrapped her arms around her. "I'm glad. It's been interesting so far and I was sent back to the boat because of it." She nodded and stepped back to listen as the girls continued with their conversation, making note that she would need to get some blood later.
<Verbena> Smiling at DD, Verbena nodded in understanding, but she didn't have any more questions to be answered. "That's true. And, thank you! It's a little silly how little I know about some things so close to home," she mumbled, glancing across at the silent Malign and Zoe.
<Malign> stretched her legs out and moved Zoe just a little so that she could possibly stand. "So, there's something I have to go check on but it was great to see you Zoe, Bee. And great to meet you ladies," she said. "Talk later," she said to Zoe and then looked to Bee as well. "Goodnight ladies," she said and then, she was gone.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She put on a bright smile for Verbena to cover her annoyance that she had officially been replaced and it irked her but it wasn't the woman's fault. She nodded to her and just listened to them converse.
<Superbia> As Malign left, she waved after her, only to slump back, and lean closer towards Verbena. The woman didn't appear to have any further questions for the moment. "I only know things because I've been doing this for an absurd amount of time. It's easy to pick up things here and there if you keep your ear to the ground." She commented before her arms folded across her abdomen. "Tell me...Verbena was it? How are you enjoying this life?"
<Zoe> frowned as Malign stood. Her frown spread as she said she had to go, and then left. She lazily got up and moved over to Superbia, sitting next to her as she drew a deep breath and looked to Verbena. "I like the questions you are asking... they are questions I havent yet been around long enough to ask - yet should be. I appreciate that."
<Verbena> "Oh, it's..." She exhaled the breath in her lungs, took more in to recompensate, and offered another smile. "It's confusing, at times, and difficult to keep up with, and...trying, and stressful, and yet I love it. It was the best possible option for me and I'm trying to get settled in already."
<Verbena> "And, don't worry about it! You'll have your own set that are personal to you the more you live, I promise," she laughed, nodding at Zoe. "But, I'm glad you're taking them for what they're worth and getting as much out of them as I am. And now you know that when you have more, you can always ask Superbia here, who's been amazing to talk to so far."
<Verbena> "By the way, Zoe, I love your shoes. They look extremely comfortable."
<Superbia> Licking lightly over her lips as Verbena spoke, she noded to her comments. It seemed like it was that way for most of the ladies she'd spoken with. An arm slid around Zoe's middle loosely so that she could half hug the grandchilde to her side. "I think there is something of a learning curve, adjusting to the hearing, the sight, the smell. Realizing you can't be with the people you were with. You have to adjust your vision of life, love, and happiness. But it does get easier." She murmued.
<Zoe> smiled and nodded at Verbena, a silent thank you of sorts as she nodded. "You are right. Superbia is the best at answering such questions... though I do lean on Every for the most of it. And of course Im interested in them. They are questions I know that I need to know, so its great that my grandsire is here for me." She leaned into Bee as she nodded again, getting more and more used to the physical interaction of the vampiric race.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She stood there and politely listened. She grabbed a glass from on of the passing staff and sipped on it for a bit.
<Zoe> Zoe looked over at the newly clothed woman, smiling, extending her hand from Bee's side. "Im Zoe."
<Diamond Dreamfire> Taking the extended hand and nodded at her. "Diamond though most call me DD. Are you new to the family?"
<Zoe> She nodded. "Five days new." She shook the hand firmly, strongly, stronger than she realized as her muscles clenched in her hand from not being used enough as a Killer lately. She dropped her hand and nodded.
<Superbia> Watching the exchange between Zoe and DD, she carefully tapped her fingers against the curve of the former's hip. "You two are too nice." She said, in regards to Verbena and Zoe's comments about talking with her. "Every is a lot like my sister, but then that's what DoD does to you, I suppose. I'm blessed to be connected to the women I am." She added on afterwards. "She's my grandchilde, sired to Asher."
<Diamond Dreamfire> The grip upon her hand was stronger than she had anticipated from a new vampire and it peaked her curiosity. "Wow...awesome. What path are you and is there anything that you need help with?" She looked over at 'Bia she mentioned that the woman was her grandchilde. "I have never heard of or met Asher but 'Bia is pretty awesome."
<Zoe> Grinning, she responded. "Killer. All muscle. And help? Maybe I could use a spar to help me get started?" She offered her, hey, she didnt always need information - physical interaction was most definitely welcome. "Thank the gods you dont know him, he is a complete idiot."
<Superbia> lightly cleared her throat at Asher being called a complete idiot. Mainly because it was true. "Esme!" She said as she spotted the woman, calling out for her and giving a little wave to come join them, where they were all seated.
<Esme> Smiled as she returned to the party. She had been drawn away earlier to look at an apartment but returned as soon as she could. She beamed when she saw her sire. She had not had much time to spend with the woman since her turning, and she happily moved quickly to where she was gestured, waving at everyone before sitting.
<Diamond Dreamfire> "Sparring I hear helps. I haven't done it yet. I went head strong into the beasties." She looked up at 'Bia as she cleared her throat and frowned. She was going to ask her if she was okay but she had addressed the other woman.
<Superbia> Impulsively, just before Esme could find a seat, she untangled her arm from around Zoe's middle so that she could slide to drag the woman into a hug. "Esme, have you met Zoe? DD? Verbena?" She asked before releasing the woman to reclaim her seat once more.
<Esme> She grinned as she returned the hug, before she watched the woman's lips carefully. Her middle and index finger came down on her thumb, as she shook her head, but smiled at the others. "No, but I would love to", she thought to her sire.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She looked up and saw the other woman. She had seen her briefly earlier but hadn't met her. She walked over to 'Bia. "Who's this?”
<Zoe> blinked at the newcomer. She smiled at the woman who had been naked the fist time she had seen her, nodding. "I used to be a cop. So sparring most definitally helps." She glanced back to the other woman as Bee hugged her - removing her arm from her waist as she did it. She stared at the newcomer with dragomir slit icy blue hues.
<Superbia> Glancing between Esme and DD, she gestured towards the later. "Esme, this is DD. DD, this is Esme, she is my recently turned childe, and a new sister to the Daughters of Destiny." She commented, before something Zoe said caught her attention. "Ooh, we should share origin stories!"
<Zoe> quirked a brow at that. "Maybe."
<Esme> "A pleasure to meet you, DD." she said telepathically to the introduced woman.
<Zoe> muttered something and leaned against Superbia's side whether she liked it or not.
<Verbena> Scooting to the side, Verbena looked up at the four women and smiled. She recognized the woman from before, Esme, and even though to strike up conversation with her when she looked distracted, but more people had whisked in and escorted them downstairs in the cabin. "I'm Verbena, by the way," she introduced, glancing at Superbia to make sure she was, more or less, on the right track. She looked back at Esme. "I don't think we got to meet, earlier."
<Superbia> She leaned a little bit into Zoe's side, resting her cheek against the woman's shoulder as she glanced over towards Esme. "Well I don't mind starting. I'm sure that some of you ladies know I have a twin brother. We grew up in a very religious house, and eventually got scholarships to a local university. I got a master's in Anthropology with a focus on shamanic cultures and religions. Then I got turned and killed, and became a woman." She then glanced over to Verbena. "Your turn!"
<Zoe> She took her phone out then, still leaning against Superbia, she listened intently as she shot off a quick text.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She smiled at the woman as 'Bia introduced them. "It's good to meet you and welcome to the sisterhood. I can help you with anything you like if you can't find someone." She listened as 'Bia told her story.
<Zoe> looked at he return text, smiling lightly. She shook her head, as if Malign could see her, texting back.
<Verbena> Opening her mouth to say something--anything--she found that she couldn't with her brain working double-time to process what she was hearing. She started laughing, but only in near confusion. "Uh...Starting stories? I don't know. Mine's kind of similar, actually. Kind of. I grew up in a house that heavily emphasized success. I got a BA in French because it was easy and...I don't know. I was turned and killed and moved to Harper Rock because my maker lived here. We knew each other a long time before he and I became vampires."
<Verbena> Well, so it wasn't THAT similar to Superbia's, because she left out the brother part, but what did that matter? She glanced around and smiled, leaving the 'Who's next?' question up to Superbia.

<Superbia> Nodding along to Verbena's comments, she glanced over towards DD, her head turning just a little bit with a smile. "I believe that's going to be our Sparkle's turn." She said. "I speak French fluently. My wraith does too - but I've been teaching him English and he's been teaching me Italian." She noticed that Zoe was texting someone, but didn't want to intrude.
<Diamond Dreamfire> They were telling their life stories and DD didn't know where to begin. She bit her lip as she thought and then nodded her head. "Well...I was born in a Vegas hotel, raised and heavily guarded by the Mafia...trust me when I say that I am glad to be away from the entourage of muscle...met CC at one of her shows...learned to dance, she left, I went to look for her, she turned me and well...here I am....all vampy and rawr."
<Zoe> Smiled at her phone, texting more as she listened to Verbena. A soft scoff of a smile left her lips as she replied and tucked her phone away, turning her attention to DD as she told her story. To everyone.
<Superbia> Listening to DD's story, the mention of Vegas made her smile. "Ooh! I spent some time there a year or so back. I really love all the night life, the bright lights and the fun atmosphere of Vegas. If you ever go back, I totally want to go with you." She offered before she glanced between Zoe and Esme, who had yet to tell their stories. She left it up to them as to who would spit it out first. "Give her my love, Zoe." She commented of Malign.
<Esme> Was simple watching everyone tell their stories. She tried to follow their lips, but even with being well versed in lip reading, she didn't catch everything. Being mute, she had a text to voice tablet on her where she could type up her story if asked, but wouldn't pull it from her handbag unless called to.
<Zoe> She nodded, pulling her phone out and sending another quick text before looking over to Bee, who was looking between her and the newcomer. She stared at the newcomer, Esme? Bee had called her, she was sure. She blinked, as if waiting to hear her story.
<Diamond Dreamfire> "I would love to go with you, 'Bia. We might need to take an army with us because of the family I grew up with. Something happened that ran CC off with them but she won't tell me but knowing CC...it wasn't good."
<Esme> Noticing the look Zoe was giving her, he pulled out her Asus Transformer tablet and keyboard and quickly started typing on the gadget. The device voiced her words as she typed them. "I am Esme Darling, I was born in London. When I was 2, nearly three my family and I spent and afternoon boating, and there was an accident. My brother was lost, and my eardrums were destroyed and an infection from that left me mute. When I was 13 I went to a boarding school for deaf girls in Paris, and when I graduated I became a teacher. A couple months ago I came here to teach deaf children at the public school but a rough man thought to take my life. Superbia saved me, and turned me. And here I am. "
<Superbia> Superbia loved the name 'Darling', and she probably would have turned Esme just for that (had she known it) regardless of the thug who had been stalking her childe that evening. As it was, she listened to the story and then glanced over towards the side of the boat, wondering where CC and Pru had gotten off to. She didn't voice her concern just yet. "Oh, you don't need an army when I am there." She said with no little confidence. Maybe she knew something DD didn't, or maybe she was writing a check with her mouth. Either way, she seemed content with the idea of going back for a visit.
<Zoe> Mute. Well, that proved interesting. She watched the woman as she typed, curiously logging her facial expressions as her tablet spoke for her. She nodded, smiling. "Bee has been nothing but kind to me." She offered, shrugging softly. Her story was in depth - history that included Harper rock riddled her mind as she stayed silent though, curious if anyone had noticed that she hadnt yet shared her own story as she leaned more heavily against Bee and glanced around the small group of people that she had just met.
<Esme> Her brown eyes returned to Zoe and smiled softly, eager to hear what she had to share.
<Superbia> "We have a responsibility to each other, being sis--" Suddenly Superbia disappeared after 'flickering' like a film in a reel.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She listened to the digital voice that came from the tablet. It was cool and fascinating to her but she felt bad for Esme and what she went through. Nodding her head as she listened. Esme was intriguing. Her eyes looked up at 'Bia. "I trust you. We can give it a try. I probably should send them an email and let them know everything is okay and drag CC with us." She looked at Zoe. "'Bia is amazing!!"
<Zoe> Zoe stared at those brown eyes for a moment, then gasped as Bee dissapeared suddenly. She made a face, then frowned... then figured she'd better speak her peace before the subject matter changed as she looked over to Esme from DD. "She is amazing. She has helped me where as Asher has not. Every too. Mostly Every. I grew up in New York, New York, boosting cars. I stole cars from 13-21, and at 21 I stole the wrong car, and got caught by the cops for the seventh time. They offered me a job, and two years later I was transfered to Harper Rock. Asher was my commanding officer. He died, I buried him, and five days ago I almost died in a raid, which he turned me from. Needless to say, Asher and I have issues. Just like everyone else Ive heard from regarding him - understandable." She shrugged lightly and leaned against her seat, then looked at DD and offered her a seat, patting the seat that Bee had been sitting it, smiling softly.
<Zoe> patted her pocket, making sure that her police badge was still in it.
<Esme> 'Listened' to Zoe's story, and had several questions, but thought it better to ask them when they were in private. The main one being how she was able to get caught seven times. She thought after once she would have locked up for ages. But the more she thought about it, the more she figured if the woman had wanted to share details like that, she would have told them. Well anyways, it seemed like she had a rather exciting existence. Dangerous, but exciting.
<Diamond Dreamfire> DD had never been on the right side with the cops with being grown up around the mafia but it was a pleasant thought. One needed a friend on the inside to help especially with how this city seemed to work. When the seat was offered, she moved to sit down next to the woman. "I think a lot of people have issues with their sires but it's gotta suck since he's also your boss.
<Zoe> bit her scarred lip. "You have no idea. Especially since its Asher. I mean... he had issues in the station as comrades, but here? All I've heard are that he had enemies. Which makes it doubly hard for me, being his childe - even though I want to smack him across the face myself with a knife - or shoot him in the balls with a gun. Which, I did once, while we were still human." She chuckled softly at the memory.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She couldn't help but chuckle with her. "Well I hope things get better. CC and I don't have the best relationship either but you are in with a good group of people. The Daughters of Destiny are to help when you need it and you have 'Bia. Deal with Asher how you need to and do what you think is right for you."
<Verbena> She smiled in her quiet and watched Zoe confess. She'd never been to Vegas, never been attacked by thugs--unless you counted a hunter or two that was still giving her problems--and never had a real issue with anyone that made her want to shoot them in the balls, so she stuck to only listening and nodding in understanding at something. Until something caught her attention and she could finally relate. "My brother used to be a cop, too."
<Zoe> She smirked at DD, nodding. "Yes." Was all she said, clearly though, she understood and was nodding in agreement. "Really? Which division? I myself was tranfered to the Special Response Team unit. You know, the calls no one wants to make, we made it to." She grinned, glancing over at Esme as she wished the woman would type something and join their conversation.
<Verbena> Laughing, she shook her head. "No, nothing like that. I couldn't tell you and be completely honest. We grew up in Winnipeg, got our degrees, and he moved out here because of the crime rates; got a good job, got a wife. I lived in Hamilton, instead, so when we saw each other and talked, it wasn't really about work. He was a detective, did a lot of investigations, and then they 'promoted' him to doing a lot of desk work and he hated it."
<Verbena> "He was on a really hot trail...And one of the guys that he was after ended up...getting the upperhand. So, he killed him, and turned him. And I made him turn me. And, then his maker ended up turning one of the other criminals that he worked with. As you can imagine, our 'family gatherings' are kind of interesting, now..."
<Zoe> nodded. "I got transfered from New York -from- desk work. They decided down here that even if I had desk work, I'd still see action, so they'd better transfer me to undercover. Little did he know that I would be turned as such." She smirked, "I can imagine your family gatherings.... they sound like mine."
<Esme> She was trying to follow their conversation, but she knew nothing of the life of a criminal, or of a copper. She had a rather privlaged life, and had never had need to interact with police before, so she felt she had nothing to contribute. But she was eagerly listening to them. It was so interesting, what they had done. All she had done was go to school.
<Verbena> "Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's kind of funny how small the world is, sometimes. You got turned by your boss, my brother got turned by the criminal he tried to nab." Other than that, Verbena was much in the same boat with Esme. Roy had the interesting and prosperous life; the one with all of the stories from first hand experience. Sara? Not so much. She was only turned out of desperation and little more.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She sat and listened as everyone chatted. They were an interesting bunch and she was actually pleased that she came to this little gathering that CC had arranged despite her current ill feelings for her sire. She let them all talk as she sat quietly and crossed her leg over the other.
<Esme> Her phone beeped and she looked at her incoming message. Before keying out a message on her tablet. "Excuse me, my Realtor has found another apartment he wishes me to look at. IT was lovely meeting each of you. Have a great evening" she smiled before hurrying off the boat and in to the city.
<Diamond Dreamfire> She nodded her head to Esme as she ran off. She knew how impatient Realtor get when they want to make money especially in this city where homes were constantly desired. She leaned her head back to look up at the moon and listen to the crickets as silence fell upon the boat for the moment.
<Zodiac> *resting up in the fork of a tree. above her, Ginny sits watching. knowing she will know in advance if any of the other 'prey' is on the way, Zodiac tends to her wounds from her second conquest. --The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She was wandering through the trees and bushes, trying to find Zo. She'd said she was looking for Pru too, but she didn't really care what she was up to, plus Pru could take care of herself. She'd never seen Zo in combat before and had no idea if she could take care of herself or not. But regardless, Zo was 'hers' and so she needed to make sure she was always safe. She caught wind of the telepathic message and grinned, pleased for the woman. By her guesstimates, that was now 6 down and 4 to go, and she had no idea where they might have got to. Regardless, right now, she was out in her corset backed dress and hells, looking for the woman and her cat. And she was going to find her!
<Zodiac> *leans back. her wounds patched as best she can. by tomorrow they would be gone. closes her eyes and rests. somewhere east of her she heard movement, but Ginny was not yowling, so she ignored it for now and focuses her thoughts to CC directly* is everyone having fun so far?
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> She ducked under low hanging branches and stepped over fallen logs, sure she could sense or smell the woman - or that she'd at least been here earlier. Quietly, she tried calling out - not wanting to alert the 4 folks she'd drugged and left here in the wilderness. "Zo? You there? Zo?" And then she blinked as she got a telepathic message, chuckling as she wondered how the woman expected her to reply.
<Zodiac> *focuses on her and locates her* turn left and keep coming. you will find my tree
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> Her tree? And wait... what? How did she know how close she was, where she was? She chuckled and shook her head before she got a headache trying to puzzle it out, then did as she was told, walking along and looking up into the branches to try and spot the woman.
<Zodiac> *the sound of footsteps growing now. stays relaxed. Ginny meows softly as she spots the woman approaching the area*
<Cinnamon Cherrywhip> Her head turned and looked to the sound of the meow, grinning as she spotted the woman and her cat. Softly, she used her lips and tongue to call for the cat, rubbing her fingers together and bending down. "Ginny! Hey Ginny. How are you puss?"
