--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Diamond Dreamfire: She had woken up on the deck of the boat. She didn't realize how long she had been asleep but when she looked at her watch and noticed the date...she had somehow lost an entire day. The attack from the paladins must have made her more tired than she thought when she healed. Waking up, she stretched and went to go find a human before stopping off for breakfast.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: CC had had an eventful night, what with rescuing Pru's sleeping body, cleaning it and trying to wake her up. She hadn't been able to carry out her promise to Mordechai yet, and she hadn't been about to do it over the weekend. She'd been the hostess and she'd had her business head on, not her personal head. However, the threat he'd made to her still rankled her and annoyed her, crept about under her skin like a bug that needed to be caught and smooshed. She got up from the chair she'd been trying to relax in, kissed Pru's cheek and then headed out to find DD and tell her what had happened.
Diamond Dreamfire: Kennedy hadn't planned on attending the party giving the it was CC that was throwing it and the animosity that was lingering between them since her feelings for Mordechai had been expressed. She wasn't dating the man and yet CC had acted as if it was the crime of the century. CC surprised her though even with saving her on the hunt. These were all thoughts running through her head as she properly discarded the knocked out human after feeding and she went to go find a burrito to eat. Maybe it was time to sit down and talk with CC after all. Quickly she pulled out her phone and sent a text to Mordechai. 'I will be home late. Going to see CC. Things look promisingly better.' After that text was sent, she followed it up with one to CC. 'Where are you?? I think we should talk.'
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She had made it to the station, from the docks, and was about to head in to catch a train back to the centre of the city when her phone went off. Fishing it from her pocket, she glanced at the text and smirked because it seemed that both women had had the same thought, but for different reasons. Quickly, she texted back to the woman, grinning as she did. "At a station. I'll meet you. Where?"
Diamond Dreamfire: The replied text didn't take long which was always a plus. Stopping off at the bank after throwing her burrito wrapper away, she made two deposits to DoD funds of 10 grand each. A smile slipped across her face as the bank teller informed her that the transfers had been completed and to have a nice evening. She quickly left the building and made her way to the transit just down the street as she popped off a reply in return. 'I'm at a transit as well. I don't care where we go...we just need to talk. You're pick...' Finding a bench...she sat and waited.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She grumbled softly at the woman's indecision in her next message. The old DD wouldn't have said that. The old DD would have given a location and then rocked up late. She sighed and thought she needed to go to Pru's bar, make sure it was all running ok and see if anything needed doing while Pru's LAZY *** was asleep. So she texted the woman back. "Fine, I'll see you at Coastside Station then. I need to be near there anyways. Be there when the train gets there."
Diamond Dreamfire: Tapping her fingers against her phone as she waited for the train but still unsure which one she would need until CC got back with her. Just as the train to Coastside pulled in was when the text came through and she perked her brow. That was convenient. Stepping on the train, she took a seat and thought over how the conversation would go. Well it would depend on what was said and if Verbena would be mentioned...the girl was sweet and DD liked her but she still had a lot to learn about the job she was taking on and to have been DD's replacement...well that wasn't suitable at all. It was DD's job and she was going to get it back. Her right leg bounced (a habit she had that most thought was a nervous twitch) and she placed with the necklace with the initials C.D.M. artistically meshed together as she got lost in her thoughts. She couldn't judge how the talk would go until she was there.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: CC jumped the train to Coastside she knew would be along soon enough and paced back and forth in the emptying carriage. Emptying, because she had a big *** sword on her and she looked threatening in her Lara Croft looking outfit. As she paced, she was working out what to say to the woman, how to word it, afterall - it was a message from her lover to be passed on. It wasn't CC's to make up and say, these were from him!
Diamond Dreamfire: The train seemed to be running behind but then again...it wouldn't be her if she wasn't somewhat late. Looking around as they pulled up to Coastside she kept her gun at her side and the sword on her back. Whether it looked odd or not, there were several that carried large weapons so she acted nothing of it. Stepping out of the station, she saw CC standing on the corner waiting for her. "Hey..." She called out as she started for her.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She reached the station and stepped off, having only been coming from River Rock, it didn't take long at all. She walked out into the street and stood, waiting, until the next train in deposited DD from it's belly. The woman called to her and she nodded her head in return. "Hi." Then there was nothing more for it, she needed to get it done before she chickened out now that she was faced with the woman. She stepped around behind her, pulled her down the alley and sliced her throat wide open while leaning in and whispering angrily into her ear. "That, is from your **** toy. He sends his best wishes to you - right about the time he threatened me!" Then shoving her roughly forwards, CC stepped back. Her business was done now, so she turned and made to head down the other end of the alley to sort out the Saloon.
Diamond Dreamfire: She wasn't sure what to expect when CC nearly charged at her and drug her down the alley. Looking behind them as she wondered why they couldn't just talk on the street, her body was telling her that something wasn't right. Looking back as they stopped, everything seemed to move so quickly that she was surprised at what came next. The slice upon her throat and the whispered words in her ear. Her hand came up to rest against her throat, holding everything together so that she could talk with a growl to follow. "We aren't *******!! He also would -NEVER- send such a message. What the **** is your problem?" CC had turned away and started off. There was no way in hell she was letting her get away with attacking her in such a way. She will inform the sisters and Mordie later but this...this one was hers to deal with. Screw the middle man. If this was going to be how they worked out their issues then fine. Rushing her, she pulled her Enchanted Longsword that Cliff had given her from her back and swung at CC. The blade quickly and effectively delivered the very same wound to CC.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: CC was too busy going over everything in her head that she needed to do, to realise that DD was coming up behind her until it was too late. The sword whipped around in front of her and cut accross her neck smoothly, while CC spun around, bloody sword still in hand and again cut deeply into DD's neck. Her teeth were gritted together, eyes flickering with anger as she advanced upon the woman. "How ******* DARE you! HE sent that to you with what HE said to me. You have an issue, you ******* take it up with him!"

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Diamond Dreamfire: The second attack came as CC spun around to confront her. She was pissed now that she didn't have the ability to even respond to anything that the woman said to her. CC needed to get over her **** and if this is what she wanted. Fine. She swung her sword again in defense and a deep glare in her eyes. CC wasn't going to get away with it and DD sure as hell wasn't going to lay down at her feet and let her beat the **** out of her. She was done playing nice guy if CC wasn't going to let up on the attacks.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She raised her blade again and easily deflected the woman's attack, spinning their blades in a circle until she twisted her hand and cut her own deeply into DD's sword arm shoulder. "What? Cat got your ******* tongue?" She smirked, "Or did my blade finally stop the stupid ******* drivel from spilling out?" If that were true, maybe her sword could do other things. She had fucked up DD's turning and broken her and she'd tried a number of ways to try and fix her, make her right again. But nothing so far had worked. Maybe beating some sense into her would! Her body spun to the side, light on her feet, before her blade once more swung down hard and fast, aiming at her head.
Diamond Dreamfire: Glaring all the more as the woman avoided her attack and sliced into her again. A whispy sound eminated from her as she tried to groan but nothing would be able to come out be heard since CC had nearly taken her head off with the first two attacks. She was livid now as she swung at her again. Missed. How in the hell did she miss. All she had been doing was training and that had been going well. There had to be something that was keeping her from striking CC but she didn't care...she was going to land a hit, no matter what. Just as she was watching CC come around again, this time she was aiming for her skull...DD put up her sword to avoid the attack only for her eye to go flying across the alley. First she tried to behead her and now she was ******* with her looks... hell to the **** no. DD brought her sword around again for another attack but CC had moved to prepare again. The woman was clearly deranged and this was definitely a matter she would be bringing up to the Daughters of Destiny as well as Mordechai.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Almost. She'd got an eye out and as she retreated a few steps to look at the woman she cocked her head. "DD? You back to yourself yet?" She hoped that the knock to the head, the cut that had taken her eye, would have knocked some sense into her so that she would have her DD back, so she waited, still in the defensive position, to see if it had worked.
Diamond Dreamfire: Swinging again at CC as she asked if she was herself again. Who did she really think she was? An alien from outter space. Seriously. This whole not being herself was getting old. Yes, there were changes but didn't mean she wasn't still the DD she knew or even the Kennedy she knew before that. She aimed for her and missed again. Now she was annoyed.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Well, that must mean no then, she thought as the woman swung at her. Her sword came up in reflex and knocked away DD's sword. She swung once more at the woman's head and missed, but that was the point, it was a feint. She ran up the wall to the side of them and then backflipped down, sword first to try and hit the woman's head ""DD! I ******* want you back! I miss you. The REAL you! Now for ****'s sake. Knock yourself out of it!!"
Diamond Dreamfire: She wanted nothing more to yell and scream at her about how she was herself and just because there were some changes since her turning, didn't mean that she wasn't the person that she knew. Falling backward as CC swung at her and she blocked her attack but the force has caught her off balance and her sword dropped. She furrowed her brow in a mean and devilish glare as she moved to grab her sword once again and charged at her. She was going to pay especially now that she would have to wear a ******* eye patch. She was a ******* dancer not a damn pirate. She gunned for her arm to chop it off and get the sword away from her.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: CC's sword came down on DD's arm, once more slicing into it deeply as she fell through the air. However the woman had charged as she was dropping, and DD's sword sliced cleanly through her thigh, making her drop awkwardl to the ground in her landing.
Diamond Dreamfire: She wanted to growl and whimper at the same time when her arms was sliced into again. As she looked over her newest wound, she frowned before her eyes danced back over to CC and saw that her blade finally landed another hit. Bravo to her! Wasn't where she had planned but she was getting desparate to return the favor to her for all that CC had done to her. Nodding her head barely but matter-of-factly still, she was pleased with the outcome of the latest hit.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: ******* arm. Again. What good was an arm shot in knocking sense into her? Stupid aim! Her eyes cast about and spotted the fire escape, deciding it was her best chance at getting to smack her about the head. She backed up a few paces and then ran full speed at DD. A cartwheel first before her feet found the ground to press down and spring up. Her sword once more caught the woman's arm and then tried for her head, missing again - but that was ok. She continued her run behind DD and jumped onto the big bin and then up to the fire escape. Up the ladder she went, eyes on DD the entire time, then leapt off the landing and swiped - aiming for her head with a cry of the woman's real name. "KENNEDY!"
Diamond Dreamfire: Watching CC closely as she moved. She wasn't going to let her catch her up no matter what and if she could block an attack...she would. Perking her brow as she watched her climb the fire escaped and pull off acrobatics that most would only see in movies. DD tried to step out of her attacks but her arms were getting sliced up before she unexpectantly vanished to do another circus act off the fire escape. Her eyes watched her but the blood running down her arm was making her lose her grip. She took her eyes away for only a second. It was when CC yelled out her real name that no one but Mordie used since CC always refused as if Kennedy had died and was replaced by the dance she had taken in under her wing, she looked up as CC was falling towards her with her sword aimed right for her. As her blade stuck through her skull, she vanished into a puff of dust. She heard of people summoning others and maybe that is what happened. Someone had looked into to help her and noticed that she was being attacked and saved her...what she didn't expect was to look down and have no body and her world was dark and grey. Suddenly she felt lost and scared with a twinge of anger as she didn't know what it was that CC had done to her.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Her blade went deep into the woman's skull and she crowed in triumph..... though that crow choked and died in her throat as the woman vanished into dust. She stood there and simply stared at the pile, her voice coming out in no more than a whisper. "DD? Kennedy?" She looked around, hoping it was some sick joke, but there was nothing, just this dust. She knew, deep down inside of her, she knew that she'd just killed the woman. It hadn't been what she was trying to do, it wasn't what she'd wanted, so how? How had it happened?! She dropped to her knees as the sword clattered from her hand, tears running down her cheeks while staring at this sad little pile of dust. DD's sword lay there, gleaming in the dust and CC carefully picked it up and wiped her own blood from it carefully. She hugged the sword to her chest tightly and put her own one back into place. Her tears flowed freely down her cheeks as she zombie walked home in complete and utter disbelief at what had just happened. The entire time, DD's sword was pressed to her body as it was the only thing left of her that CC had to hold onto.
Diamond Dreamfire: She sat down as she waited, hoping for some answers but nothing came. There was nothing but silence but then again if she listened hard enough...it wasn't silence but there were actual whispers. Some sad, some happy, some sinister even. She had never experience anything like this nor had she been taught that one day she might have such an experience. All she wanted to do was go home but there was nothing to help her, give her direction. She was stuck and lost.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Every: text: Why did you kill DD?
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: *Replies* That.... was real? That... happened?
Every: text: Yes. It was real. Do you want to run or do you want to go out like the fighter you've been telling me you are?
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Stares at the phone, not really knowing what was going on then replies. "I.... what?"
Every: Every let out a small puff of air before she replied once more, leaning against part of the tree that she was resting in. "You are going to be killed for killing DD, by DoD."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "Why? It's nothing to do with them. This was between her and I, and it's not what I wanted. I never wanted this, not THIS!"
Every: "CC, DD is a member of the Daughters of Destiny. She signed our code of conduct and thus, gained our protection as we have offered for you. With Prudence gone, I'm acting Crone and that is why I am contacting you. That is why it is my business. You attacked a faction member."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "I didn't say you personally, I said DoD. It's a family, sire and childe, issue that started the moment she was turned. It pre-dates DoD. As for Pru, she's just asleep. When she wakes, she'll tell you. She'll tell you this has been going on for a while. But I didn't want her dead. I never wanted her dead. I just wanted her back! I wanted my friend back!"
Every: "You hit a member of my faction. That's why it's DoD - a faction made up of family. And Pru is not asleep, she's dead. She's in the Shadow Realm, and she already knows about what's going on. Superbia went to see her last night, just after both of us found out by watching the news."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "No. Pru's asleep. She's just faded out again. She does that you know. Zones out. And DD's mine. I made her. I brought her here. I didn't kill her. I wouldn't kill her! It was a fight. We've fought before. This is all wrong!"
Every: "...CC, it's a temporary death. Remember what happened when Tytonidae attacked you, that you had to go to that place with no colors?" She bit her lip while she then continued the text. It was almost like talking to a child, "Both DD and Pru are in the Shadow Realm."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "No. I've seen Pru. She's not there, not dead. She was on the news you see, so I know she's not dead. When you're dead - you go poof, like I did. She didn't so she can't be. And DD..... no. If she is. It wasn't me. I wouldn't do that, not to her!"
Every: "Prudence is a killer. Her body does not reduce to ash or shadows, CC. It remains behind, her spirit is sent elsewhere. I had two people check DD's memories. She's dead and you're the one that killed her."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "But..... no! Just no!"
Every: "Do you want to go out in a duel, just me against you, or do you want to be hunted in a group, CC? It's your decision." She pressed send as she stood up, checking her watch while chewing on her bottom lip in thought.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "I don't want to die. I didn't do this! I wouldn't! Please. Don't make me go back there again. Not again!"
Every: "Cinnamon, you and I both know that it will not be hard for me to track you down... I would much rather this be done quick and efficent. DD and Pru will be waiting for you. You need to face the result of your actions. I've shot Azariel for hurting you. I'm not going to back down on this."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She didn't respond, simply because she couldn't. Her legs had given out under her and she was weeping at everything Every had sent to her. It was all too much for her to handle and get her head around, and none of it made sense to her in her current state.
Every: The brunette tapped her cell phone against her thigh as she waited, silently debating on simply triangulating the other female before she sent a final text. "Do you want to discuss this in person?"
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She was walking like a zombie, hugging a sword to her chest while her neck and leg bled out. Her feet were on autopilot and she found herself at Zo's place and walking in unnannounced to just stand there silent and staring at nothing.
Zodiac: *comes down the hallway heading to her place when she sees her standing there* CC? *she asks. something obviously had happened, but what*
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Her head didn't turn, instead her entire body turned as she stared at Zo as if she were a survivor of something horrific. There was no emotion there, there was no recognition, there was just a stare.
Zodiac: what the hell? *unlocks the door, guides her inside and locks it shut* CC? talk to me. what happened? *eyes the bloody sword*
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She shuffled in and looked at Zo, holding out her phone to her so that she could read the text conversation that was currently ongoing.
Zodiac: *looks at the screen. jaw hangs open wide in shock* CC *begins slowly* did you see DD this evening?
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She nodded her head slowly, a frown on her face as she tried to work out if what she was remembering was real or not.
Zodiac: and did you 2 talk?
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "I don't.... I don't remember. It all just, happened. But it can't be right. I wouldn't." Her voice was a hushed whisper. Obviously that of someone in severe shock.
Zodiac: *gently pulls the blade from CC's grip and smells the blood. a faint aroma of DD clung to the blade * What do you remember happening?
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She took her phone back and in the same manner as she was talking, continued to reply in complete confusion - letting Zo read as she did.
Zodiac: oh my god. *whispers* CC, can this be true? *picks up the dropped cell phone and sees who is texting with CC. pulls out her own and brings up her old list and sends a text to the woman* Hello, Every. This is Zodiac. CC seems to have found her way to my house and I read the texts going on from her phone. Can you tell me what is going on? *presses SEND*
Every: Her lips pressed together lightly at the sight of Zodiac's number before she sent a text in return. "Hello Zodiac, it's been a while. CC has killed a member of the Daughters of Destiny, DD. I offered her a chance to either duel me, or be killed by a few of us in the group."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: CC just sat on the floor at Zo's feet. No idea what was going on around her, not sure of what had happened before, and crying. She was an absolute mess about everything and couldn't take it all in.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Zodiac: *texts* Yeah, I am sort of getting that impression as well. I smell DD on the sword she was clinging to like a blanket. She says she don't remember doing it. I am not saying yes or no on that one, but does anyone know how this all started? *SEND*
Every: "I haven't a clue, Zodiac, that would be why I sent a text in the first place. I would have asked Prudence, but she's in the Shadow Realm. I had to tell CC that her sire is not asleep." She chewed on her bottom lip idly, "She did it. I asked two people to check."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Whispers softly to the floor. "Zo. Make her wake up. Use your magic and wake Pru up. She'll fix it. I know she will!"
Zodiac: As I said, not saying she didn't. I just never seen her like this before is all. Has anyone tried to get Pru's input on this? I know she is in the SR, but a fadewalker could ask. I'd also feel better knowing DD's side of the story as well. I am not, repeate, NOT keeping you from doing what you have to do, but I think some answers would help a lot *SEND* *Looks down at CC* "Magic powers to wake her up?"
Every: "I will be asking Superbia, however, with how much trouble CC has been giving her lately with DD, and given the fact that DD is now dead - Prudence and I composed the piece on attacks ourselves - I doubt that she'd argue against it. Actually. I know that if she were here, the first thing out of her mouth would be for me to track CC down
Zodiac: *looks down at CC* Where is Pru now? *texts* Just a sec here. Trying to get a straight answer out of her *SEND*
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Her head turned a fraction to look at Zo's shoes as she nodded. "Yes, wake her up. She told me, she did. That she'd been fading in and out, zoning out to somewhere else. Well, she did it again. Yes, yes she did." She nodded her head as the broken woman chuntered away. "So, you use the rituals, cards, gypsy things - you wake her up and stop her from zoning out and she'll be fine, everything will be fixed. She knows me. Knows DD. Knows what's what. She knows this is wrong. All wrong! She just needs to wake up!"
Zodiac: "Where is she now? I can't do anything unless I am with her." *groans inside. Wondering what CC may have done with Pru's body in the middle of all of this noise*
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "She's safe" She smiled and looked up. "I washed her carefully, thoroughly. Dressed her and everything. Then tucked her in bed to wake up nicely when she does."
Every: Every sat down on the floor of her with a small sigh escaping past her lips, setting the phone beside her while she leaned forward and stretched her arms forward. Once her forehead touched against the floor, she exhaled as she waited in thought.
Zodiac: *Bites her tongue. Goes back to texting* Seems you can add body napping to all of this. Apparently she has Pru's body somewhere. Insists it is safe but I can't get out of her where she put it. *SEND*
Every: "I'll find it, although that saves me a lot of time." She rubbed her temples lightly while she nibble on her bottom lip idly, "On another note, I do need to handle this and get an answer out of her, Zodiac. I'd rather not have everyone attack her at once. I might be a *****, but I'm not a heartless *****."
Zodiac: *Hands CC back her phone* Every wants to talk to you. *texts* She has her phone again.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Takes the phone and looks at it blankly
Every: "CC, I know you don't want to die, but you'll come back and I know Bia would lead you to Pru."
Zodiac: *reads over her shoulder-nudges her* Answer her, CC
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Slowly types. "No. I don't want to go back there! I've been there twice because other people attacked me first. I don't deserve to go there again. It was an accident I didn't want to happen, I never wanted this to happen! Ask Pru. Ask her. See what she says. You think you can contact her - prove it to me without killing me. See what she has to say - she knows about the fights, she's seen them. ALL before DoD existed. Factions aren't supposed to step in on pre-existing feuds. That's wrong. You just want me dead because you hate me. You've always hated me. You helped kill me before for nothing and now - now you want to do it again. So no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!"
Zodiac: *watches the texts fly along. stands up and texts Every herself* How would you like to be sitting here with this live? she is making zero sense to me now *SEND*
Every: Every sighed and replied to Zodiac first, "Long story short, Ty was asked to help kill CC. She dislikes me from that. She also kept getting into it with my boyfriend after, thus me disliking her. As I told her before I'm not against getting to know her." And then to CC, "I know what Pru will say, we've been discussing it from the last time you attacked DD. If the situation were reversed, we would still be taking action. Stop arguing and act like the adult that you've told me you are."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "No. You wouldn't be taking action to help me. You helped the last time and the time before it was brushed under the carpet. Don't lie to me! And you know nothing of what Pru would do. I was threatened. I defended myself. We both lost our temper..... it.... happened." She frowned, rubbing her head with a groan, her anger rising again. "Killing me does nothing to help anything. It just makes one more person dead. What do I learn? You're a ***** with no compassion for a **** up. That DoD and Worthington doesn't give a **** about me, as usual. That DD is the favourite. That I mean nothing to any of you. Do you not think I'm hurting? Do you not think I'm grieving? What is the ******* POINT?!"
Every: Every's eyebrow twitched and she simply called Zodiac, that way CC would not be able to hang up on her during what she had to say. The brunette stood up, moving away from her sire and the ritual altar, her jeans beginning to slide a bit on her hips before she tugged them up.
Zodiac: *sees her phone ringing. checks the caller ID before answering then sends out her thoughts* Yesssssss?
Every: "Please put me on speaker so the twit can hear me loud and clear." She mumbled.
Zodiac: *does as she asks*you are on the air, Every
Every: Thanks Zodiac. I’m going to say this once – I have absolutely no ******* reason to lie to you. I don’t like lying, I don’t like being lied to, and I hate it when people assume that about me. Yes. The situation with Azariel was swept under the rug, but you know what, I went up to him and I spoke to him about it. I told him if he did it again, I would shoot him. You didn’t ******* sign the code of conduct, you are the one that continue to push it away. We both know that I have absolutely no problem tracking someone down and putting a bullet through their brain. Killing you will make **** even. I expect that everything, the drama between you two will be completely finished after this all. If it’s not, I’ll shoot you each until it is. Worthington does not give a **** about anyone. It’s a shitty line. It’s a line that likes to conserve drama and allow everyone to get stepped over – that’s how it’s been for a year and that **** isn’t going to change regardless. The DoD was created as a safe haven for the members of the lineage that want it. Only a selective few, yourself included, have signed up. Had Azariel not attacked you, and had you not been persistent to complain about it, we would not have it. As I told you before, pull your ******* head out of your ***, Cinnamon. You aren’t a ******* child, and you’re an insult to Prudence if you continue to act like one. Clearly, if I didn’t give a **** about you, I would not be offering you a chance to duel me. I would not be offering you a chance to defend yourself against me before you die. I’d be rounding up hitters and then you would end up in the shadow realm without a single word spoken. Had I acted like you at all, my sire wouldn't have said a thing to me. He would have shot me dead.
Zodiac: Amen *sends to her* I would not have time to blink if it was me
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "I didn't mention that fuckwit Azariel. I said the first time I was killed by the dartwats! Nothing was done then, nothing has been done since. They then hired Tyt to kill me again. For shits and giggles. Which you were a part of. What ******* code of conduct? I posted on that board a while ago saying I wasn't reading it, but if anything important needed looked at or if help were needed - someone should poke me to it. NO-ONE has told me anything about a supposed code of conduct until this evening. So how can I sign something I don't know exists? I assure you - there will be no 'even' in this. This isn't a game of cards, these are goddamn LIVES. EVEN is a callous and ridiculous way of looking at it. As for **** being over - damn right it will be. I will be by myself and disown everyone, Pru included. The double standards and favouratism are rife and sickening, and it is ridiculous that people who have known each other for YEARS and dealt with their own crap the entire time, are suddenly subjected to the whims and rules of others. This has **** ALL to do with DoD. This is between DD and I and no-one else."
Every: “I told you about a while back, CC, don’t even ******* argue with me about it. That should have been a clue for you to open your ******* eyes about it and look. Had I seen what the **** was going on before it, I wouldn’t have hit you irritating, spiteful little half-wit *****.” A cold snarl rose in her tone, as she continued to speak, “HA. Lives. We die and the strong ones return. You’ve returned once, you’ll return again. You were being rude constantly to DD and yet she continued to help you because she loves you. Because you’re her friend and you’re her sire. I don’t know what the **** has gotten between you, but anyone I know would kill for that connection you have with your childe – to have someone so loyal to you. If you want blood for being killed by Tytonidae and if you want proof that I'm willing to fight for and against you, then take the ******* duel and die with honor instead of being a coward."
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "Right, this is between her and I, sire and childe, old friends. NOT between everyone and their ******* mother - just because they like one over the other. I'm not satisfying your ******* blood lust and it's TWICE I've been killed by the dartwats. And how does killing me show me you're willing to fight for me? BS Every. You're talking it! I am not a coward, and goading me in such a manner will not work. I owe you nothing for your loyalty to DD. You go and ask Pru. You go and ask DD. You see what they say. And don't let your own feelings rule you. Because I'm done with you until I hear from them!" And with that, she closed her mouth and lay back, flat on the floor in silence - trying to regain her temper and work through what in the **** had happened tonight to try and makes sense of it all
Zodiac: *cautiously thinks* I think that is all you gonna get out of her now
Every: Her eyes narrowed and silently, the woman began to triangulate only to find that she was blocked. "Oh, I'm going to be getting her blood eventually. I shot my boyfriend three times, CC. I told him to back the **** off you or I'd kill him. I'll see you later."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: CC had been working at home, not bothering to go into the club tonight as she'd needed a bit of peace and quiet to work over some anomally in the books. Looking up, she noticed the time and knew that the shift was over and they should all be packed up for the evening and now either drinking, or heading for home. She stood up and stretched, cracking her neck, then picked up her phone and texted Leo. "Hey, going for a walk. Meet me and keep me company?" Leo pulled out his phone as he parted company from Sara and read over the text, replying that he'd meet her just down the road from the club, near the trailer park. When CC got the message, she nodded and then made her way out to meet up with him and go for a wander.
Prudence: They had been going back and forth on the Worthington forum. In the end, CC was avoiding her, and Pru damn well knew why. That wasn't going to fly. She fucked up, intentional or not and DD had died. It was time, in Pru's eyes to deal with the consequences of irrational behavior. The woman gave CC one last attempt to meet up with her and stop being a punk *****, in a few words or less. *Where are you?* The redhead texted the woman as she finished cleaning her gun for the night. It had to work effectively, especially tonight.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She'd walked through the streets ignoring everyone around her and trying to shut out the guilt and voices in her head that were clawing at her to let go, be what she was supposed to be and to be free. While others were laughing at her, telling her she'd proven them all right. She'd killed her only friend just as she had before with Zevach. Her walk with Leo was hopefully going to quieten them, replace their voices with his, so when her phone went off again she jumped and looked at it, reading it over and quickly replying. "Out walking, near the wilderness, south of the city. Why?" She kept the phone in her hand as she walked, spotting Leo just ahead and offering him a strained smile as they continued to walk and she listened to him prattle about one thing or another.
Prudence: * You know why. We have to talk about DD. I know you killed her. Everyone does.* Pru hit send on her phone right before she reassembled the gun.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Her hand lifted and she read the message, firing off a reply. "I've never denied that it happened, or by my hand. It was however an accident. And as all the facts are known to Every apparently, I'm not sure what it is you want to talk about? She's already made up her mind and doesn't give a toss that it was an accident nor that I was forced into it!"
Prudence: Pru sighed. Accident or not, CC had lost herself due to those feeling things. Prudence had told her to control them, but it seemed she hadn't explained herself thoroughly on that. *CC, this isn't between you and Every. This is between you, me and DD. There is just some **** you don't do to family. And I'm not going to listen to the ******** that I'm not family, or DD is your whatever ya want to call her so you think you can do whatever ya want to her, whenever. At the end of the night in this fucked up place, the only people ya shouldn't burn bridges with are your sire or mini-vamps. That **** goes south quick, bad. So, this is between you and me. We can settle it, or you can get it settled in a different way. It's your choice. * pru hit send and waited. *
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: SHe puzzled over the new text as she looked it over, slowly replying. "I've not done anything to you. Hell, I ******* saved your body and took care of it for you, kept it safe and fixed it up in so many ways. DD is my mini vamp, and we've been trying to sort **** out, trying to sort her out and fix her up too. So why this has something to do with you and the rest, I've no ******* clue! But I told you where I am if you want to do this face to face instead of via text"
Prudence: Prudence rolled her eyes. Typical CC. Thinking she can do whatever she wants and people should just look the other way and **** off. No. Prudence grabbed the gun she had put back together, strapped it to her back and then disappeared in a whirl of speed to the south side of the city. As she slowed, the woman called for her mini-vamp. "Hey, bitchface." Pru let her eyes wander in search of the woman, her arms crossing at her chest.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: There was no mistaking the dulcit tones of her sire, echoing down and through the streets. She looked around, not seeing her anywhere and rolled her eyes. Her feet stopped walking as she looked to Leo and frowned. "Look, you, stay out of sight. Watch and listen if you need to - just stay out of the way ok?" Leo was about to protest, but the look on her face told him otherwise, so he simply nodded and vanished into a crowd outside of a bar. Just one human blending with the rest so hopefully Pru wouldn't spot him. CC crossed the street and peered down alley after alley until she saw Pru at the other end of one, the next block over in the street. "Yo. You had more to say?"
Prudence: She nodded. "Yuh, but here isn't the best place. It's kinda open to be talking about...vamp things." She whispered the last part, then started walking towards the wilderness. "CC, ya, might not see it now, but I'm here for a few reasons. Some are my own, but some for your own. I'm sure ya know why I'm here." She looked over at the woman, over her right shoulder as she waited for CC. "It's time to atone." The woman muttered quietly, eyes still on her mini-vamp.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She'd walked with the woman, listening in a bored fashion, until she heard it was time for her to atone. Her feet stopped walking and her hand twitched to her blade but didn't grasp it or draw it, instead she just stared at Pru as if she were an alien. "I've got to do what now? You want to rethink that one? Carefully!"
Prudence: "CC, ya can't let your emotions get the best of ya. You accidently killing DD, it makes us weak and makes us look ******* petty. I didn't sire ya because you are a petty *****. I sired ya because you're strong and the ******* best. Killing DD is not being your best." Pru grabbed the strap on her back, unclipped it and brought Scarlett around. "And I still expect ya to be your best, but it's me, or the Daughters. Being your sire, I decided to leave it between us. If ya run, I'd be disappionted." She hoisted Scarlett on her shoulder, took aim and pulled the trigger without another word.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She wasn't fast enough, she hadn't been ready, and she hadn't expected Pru to be the cowardly sort to use a gun. So the gun was out, around and fired before she'd barely got her sword free. The bullet slammed into her leg and made her stumble slightly - however she was always advancing on the woman with a snarl and a slashing motion that aimed to remove the gun from her hand. "Don't burn ******* bridges between sire and childe yeh? And what the **** is this?" She backed up a few paces, her stance ready. "And what a ******* JOKE! I Have to atone, yet Aidan, Pi, Habren, Azariel and others all get a stern look and **** ALL else?"

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Prudence: "Azariel was dealt with. By Every." She moved to pu the trigger, but for some reason the woman's gun temporarily locked up on her, so she took a step back. "This has to do with our lineage. My family. DD is as much as my lineage as yours. Ya killed her. Ya weakened our blood over her liking Mordie. Retarded. I'm not putting up with retarded **** in our family." Prudence pulled the trigger again, her eyes locked on the woman's head. She wanted to be quick and efficent, and one or two to the skull was the way to see that done.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: It seemed that her blade had missed the woman, and she was still trying to shoot her. Once more she advanced and attacked the woman. "Funny how I only hear about it now, when you're trying to ******* kill me! As for DD, she's mine to deal with, not yours. Mordie keeps threatening me, so he needed to be punished. No-one gets to ******* talk to me that way or treat me like ****." She growled, her blade spinning and slicing, trying her best to strike the woman as she'd struck her.
Prudence: "**** off, CC." She snarled, knowing her sire skills weren't up to par as she thought they were. "If I.were here to kill ya, you'd be dead." She tried to spin out of the way of the blade, but wasn't quick enough. Pru moved her arm up to defend herself and cried out in rage as CC hacked it right off. Plus side was CC chopped off the arm that wasn't needed to shoot. "*****." Prudence growled, as she let another shot ring out in the night.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She was too shocked to move as Pru's arm dropped to ground, totally detached from the rest of her, so she didn't move out of the way in time as a bullet hit her just behind the ear and glancing off her skull. "I'm the *****? You're the **** who just attacked me! You do nothing at all to help me through all of this crap and then turn up like this - to make me pay for a mistake YOU caused after not telling me **** about what you'd brought me into? This right here, is what you ******* made Pru. Only one to blame is you, and you are trying to kill me - you're just ******* failing!" She continued to dance, trying to avoid the woman's bullets while getting in close enough to slice at her where she could.
Prudence: "I caused? Are you ******* kidding me? You don't see me shooting and killing every mother ****** who pisses me off do ya? Ya do it to yourself. I told ya to go to that Allurist place. I told ya to control your ******* emotions. I'm here because ya killed DD, you ****. I've never killed ya as tempting as it's been and even now.." She didn't care where she shot CC now, to blame her for killing DD was ******** and she hoped she shot her in her ******* mouth.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: "Yeh, you told me to go 'to that allurist place'. That's ALL you ******* said. No name of it, no contact, no idea. I even ******* asked around and got no response." She managed to knock a bullet away with her sword and smirked at the woman as she drove her sword forwards again, the woman seemingly continuing to back away and do nothing but fire bullets at her. CC knew that regardless of the outcome, she had won this. Pru wasn't facing her, she was backing up and using a gun. And it was pathetic - and that thought was written all over her face as she sneered at Pru, despite the bullets that had now hit her in the chest and head again, her control being lost every time a bullet struck her in the head. "Yes Pru. You're here because you failed as a ******* sire and you know it, and now you're trying to clean up your goddamn mess and save face. This has nothing to do with me, nothing to do with DD and everything to do with you. You failed me Pru and you doing this, burns the bridges between us!"
Prudence: "I'm here to save your ******* life, you *****." Pru stepped to the side as Cc's blade ripped into the flesh of her other arm. "My sire told me less then you and I know how not to act. How you act is your issue, not mine." Pru growled and stepped forward, her sights set on the side of the woman temple. A clean shot would end this and all she needed was one.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She turned and faced the woman and ran right up to her, to face her nose to nose. She felt weak, wobbly, from the lack of blood - however the adrenaline and anger were coursing through her and keeping her upright, defying logic. "Your choice Pru. DD or me. Make your choice ***** and live with it!"
Prudence: "There doesn't have to be a choice, CC. You aren't a ******* kid. You're mine, but DD is part of me and you." The woman shook her head, disgusted at the ultimatem. "I choose what's best for the lineage and that's this." Pru stepped back as CC's blade gouged her eye, the gun going off unexpectedly from her miscalculation of her mini-vamp's desire to fight. To live.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: She flicked the eye from the blade of her sword, stumbling backwards as the bullet buried into her brain. She fell to her *** but struggled to get back up again. Her mouth moved, but nonsensical sounds came out, her brain so damaged that it was on autopilot now and simply looking to survive - it was capable of nothing else at all. Her leg had two bullet wounds, her stomach one, Her heart had been blown out of the back of her chest and her head had received 3 bullets. One more, and she would be dead, she knew it deep in herself and so she was fighting to survive, to kill the other one before they killed her. Once more she charged at the woman, a gutteral cry of anger, frustration and above all pain - both physical and emotional - ripping from her throat as she aimed for the woman's heart with the tip of her blade.
Prudence: Pru spun to the side as CC lunged at her again. As much as she was pissed at the woman, for her words and inability to take responsibility for her actions, Pru still cared. What the **** was wrong with her? "Stay down." Pru wasn't sure how much more the woman's body could take, but as she spun around completely, Pru let another large bullet come from her gun, hoping this would keep CC down and not kill her. Pru could live with being a *****, but she saved CC's life in hopes of changing the woman's attitude and outlook on things.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Her sword caught Pru's remaining arm as she went down, the bullet catching her right in the forehead and killing off all remaining brain function. Pru's decision had been made, she'd picked DD over CC - it was the last thought that went through CC's mind as she fell, and it hurt like ****! But then, there was nothing. No pain, no thoughts, nothing. She was gone.
Prudence: It was done. Her task completed for the Daughter's and her job as a sire. The in-house fighting, the irrational behavior and childish antics had to stop. There was something surreal as she stared down at her mini-vamp, having taken life from her, after giving her this life. "You're an idiot." Pru grumbled, to who she was saying it to, she wasn't sure, but CC wasnt around to put in her two cents. The redhead grumbled to herself and pushed aside the pain she felt from her missing arm. Her missing eye stung like a *****, as did the scars, but they didnt matter. Pru grabbed CC with one arm by the remaining fabric in her shirt and tossed her over her shoulder and took her to a safe location that no one knew about.
Cinnamon Cherrywhip: Leo, was freaked the **** out. He'd seen everything that had happened but he had no idea who the red head with the short and bouncy do was. All he knew was, she'd fucked CC over and was now off with her body - and he couldn't do anything about it. So he turned and ran, heading for Sara's house as it was closest - deciding that after Sara, he'd find Zo. People needed to know what had happened to CC, and save her from the crazy *****!

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Leo: Leo had watched what had happened to CC with wide eyes and horror on his face. She'd told him to stay out of it though, told him to stay safe - and he'd had to do as he was told. He had no choice in the matter. However, when he watched the woman take her prone body away - he knew he had to tell someone something. CC had seemed to be getting closer to Sara, or Verbena, whatever - now wasn't the time to be wondering on that one again. He knew, about her. She was the same as CC, cause CC had told him so. So maybe - just maybe she'd know what to do, or at least she'd be able to sort things in the club and do some extra shifts. Then there was Zo to tell too..... Oh dear. Zo. But no, first things first. Sara. He slipped into the crowds and vanished, heading through town to Sara's house, where she'd said she was headed after work - he just hoped she'd not been lying.
Verbena: When the knock at the door came, Sara kicked the clear heels out of the way of the couch and turned the volume on the television set down. Roy wasn't in and, unless he forgot his key--which was highly unlikely--she knew it wasn't him at the door, either. Only a few number of people knew where she lived. Slipping the lock free, she carefully opened the door and peaked out, her expression knitted hard in concern--especially when she saw Leo. She opened the door wider and stood in its entrance, glancing him over before quickly saying, "Hey, Leo...What's up? Did I forget something at the club?"
Leo: His face was pale, worried, and he was obviously on edge as his balance was swapped from one foot to the other in a way only a dancer could. "I'm sorry Sara, do you mind? Can I come in? Or... you know... you busy?"
Verbena: "No! No. C'mon," she said, moving out of the way. It was habit, to crowd like that. It was something Roy had told her to do more than once when he realized she was living in Hamilton by herself, and then something Jimmy reaffirmed when she finally saw Roy's old partner again. "Sorry," she said again, closing the door behind him once he made his way in. The apartment was clean and rather tidy--Roy wouldn't stand for it to be any other way--and she motioned for him to sit on the couch. "What's going on?"
Leo: "Look" He said as he got inside and the door was closed, taking a few steps in and away from her, trying to put a safe distance in place - though knowing it was pointless. "I know what you are.... a vampire." He looked at her, but without fear or accusation or anything negative. "So let's get that out of the way first yeh?"
Verbena: Sara opened her mouth as though to speak, but nothing came out. She closed it, tensed her jaw, and tried again, with her blue eyes focused but wide open, hardly narrowing. "...How do you know that?" she asked. Maybe she should've denied it, or asked more questions first. In light of that, her eyebrows came together a little and she shook her head. "You can't tell anyone, Leo. I'll die, if you do, and you'll die, if you do." Oh, she'd read the New Code. She'd seen all the rules that could **** her up quicker than anything and have the bounty hunters on her head, and she was already walking a fine line with that. "Do you understand?"
Leo: "Yeh, yeh - I know. But then, I'm not really in control of myself. Not fully. You know? You should know? CC says you're like her?" He frowned, taking another step away from her but watching carefully - though still not showing or feeling fear.
Verbena: She made no move to approach or come away from the arm of the couch that she was so close to she could lean on. She didn't. She only stood there and watched in confusion, processing his questions one by one before she could answer under his quickness to have her speak. "Yeah," she said, trying to make him slow down. "Yeah, I'm like her. We're, uh...We're the same. Eat, drink, all that." But she didn't understand what he meant about not being in control of himself. Maybe it was some influence thing of CC's, but with CC not there and him not actually being in her presence...She didn't understand.
Leo: "Anyways, that's all by the by." He smiled and shrugged apologetically. "Something's happened to CC and I don't..... well, I don't think she's going to survive. In fact, she might already be dead. But, I don't know how it all works, not fully, you know?" He knew he was making no sense as he plopped down into a seat and ran his fingers through his bleached white hair, rubbing at his scalp with his fingers while the heel of his hands rubbed at his eyes. "I'm sorry, I'm not explaining this right. There was just so... much... blood. And a limb, it came off, but that woman.... she just kept going!"
Verbena: "What do you mea--....What?!" When Sara moved, she made sure to do it slow enough that it wasn't a spook, at least she thought it was slow enough. Stepping around, she faced Leo's collapsed frame and she didn't think she'd ever seen him so rough or worn out, before.
"What woman? Who attacked CC?"
Leo: He saw her move, but her voice and the look on her face meant he wasn't afraid or jumpy. He'd never truely thought she'd hurt him, not her, but with everything he'd seen that night.... "I don't know. Some woman with short, wavy red hair. They had an argument, kept shouting at each other. Then the woman attacked CC and she defended herself. The woman kept on shooting her in the head, leg and chest, until, until CC just stopped moving and lay there motionless, blood pouring out of her. But CC did well, I think. I don't know. She stabbed the woman's arms, chopped one of them off, and gouged out her eye. But.... it wasn't enough. The woman - she's got CC now. And I don't... I don't know what in the ****! But you, you're like her. I thought you might know more than me?" He looked up at her, hope obvious in his eyes as they found hers and locked onto her.
Verbena: "I mean," she started, searching in her head for anything that made logical sense in all of it. It was so much to process, so fast. Why was CC attacked? The only woman she knew with red hair in relation to CC was Prudence, but Sara swore that Prudence was CC's maker, so that didn't make any sense. "Wait, wait," she said, pushing her hand against her 'brow. Moving, she took the seat next to him and tried to piece it together. What did Roy say about them dying and that place where they went, like Purgatory? "Wait! Did CC turn to ash? Did she just...******* fall apart and disappear? You said she's got CC, still, so if she didn't turn to ash, then she's not dead. Right? Uh...Yeah! Roy's body remains, but I turn to ash, so CC has to turn to ash, too. -- If she wanted to kill her, why would she move her? Where did this happen? Was it somewhere out in the open, in public?"
Leo: He turned in his seat, folding one leg smoothly underneath himself to face her more easily. Listening, he nodded and shook his head in the appropriate places. "No, she's still whole.... kinda... Ash? Really? **** me!" That was new, and a hell of a lot to process. "Her head, it's kinda, exploded. Like, there's not much left of it the number of times the bullets entered and ran her through." He frowned and thought, then blinked and looked at her. "Wait, what? Roy is a vampire too? ******* hell! You're everywhere!"
Verbena: "Ah, crap," Sara blurted immediately. She couldn't even cover her face. Jesus, it was no wonder she kept getting in trouble. She just didn't know when to stop, apparently! "Yeah, look...Roy turned me. He's my maker, or creator, or whatever you want to call it, but you can't ******* tell a soul Leo. I swear. You don't know what happens to us when this **** gets out. They go crazy, and kill vampires for less, and if anything happens to Roy because of this, I love you Leo, but...Do you get my drift? This really means a lot more than you'll ever understand," she said, looking at him square in the eyes the same he did to her. It meant a lot more, especially considering her bloodline consisted of more Tytonidae members than she could count. It was like being a fugitive living in a detective's household. "Just...Okay," she said, letting her shoulders relax. Her eyes searched the interior of the apartment for anything she could grasp to help her think. "If she didn't turn to ash, she's not dead, it doesn't matter how many bullet holes she has. That'll heal, I'm guessing. I don't...really know about the brain, but if we can come back from ash, then...I would say so. I know it takes a lot, sometimes, and unless that woman is doing anything more to her, I don't think she's going to die. She'll just...take some time recovering, good as new. And I'm telling you, as a friend and someone that CC really cares for, you have to stay out of it. I mean, don't go snooping. Just...pretend like you know nothing at all, yeah? You're a liability, now. They won't think twice."

Leo: He held his hands up, palms facing her and a slight smile on his shaking head. "Look, I'm not going to tell a soul. You should know that already with the business we work for. First rule of the game - you saw nothing and you know nothing and you certainly DID nothing." He chuckled softly, thinking of all the **** he knew about people in this city and others. "So chill." He looked at her in disbelief when she said to stay out of it, because that just didn't compute. "What? Just forget about her? That she was attacked like that? And has now been taken by someone, to somewhere, to have gods knows what done to her?!"
Verbena: "Yeah," she answered, lifting her eyebrows as though to show it was obvious and there was no other answer. "Yeah, exactly that. -- What are you going to do, Leo? Go walking into a den of vampires with a wooden stake on hand? We're faster than you. Stronger than you. It took how many bullets and cuts and CC's still not dead yet. For you, all it would take is one. One! And it sounds like this woman's aim is pretty ******* good if in all of that chaos she still managed to hit her in the head how many times?! You can't cover up the fact that you're a human, Leo, and humans, no matter their connection, are not supposed to know about us! CC will come back. You? You won't. Look, I know you care. I care, too, so you're...going to have to trust me, on this. I'll do whatever it is I can. I know people, Roy knows people. We'll figure out what happened to the best that we can, yeah? If you have to tell anyone else...you be ******* careful. You don't know who you can trust. Obviously. And in the meantime, I'll help. I'll call around and talk to people, first thing."
Leo: "Yeh, well, I know I can't ******* do anything. That's why I'm here and why I led with knowing what you are. I thought you were saying you were going to forget about her too!"
Verbena: "I wouldn't just forget about her, but I damn well expect you to. You're going to have help Ginger at Silks and put on the best damned show of your life. With that face and that confidence, I know you know how to act. I'm off tomorrow, uh...Roy's on the schedule. I can work on it tomorrow night. Maybe some chicks from that booze cruise knows something. They're family, right?"
Leo: "I, uhhh, think so. And look, I'm never going to forget about her. I'm... hers." He rubbed his head, not sure how to explain it as he tried to remember what CC had called it. "You know? Mind control or something. CC called it.... enthrallment or something?" He looked at her hopefully, hoping she'd know what he was saying. "So no, I'll never forget about her. But I'm under no illusions that I've not got a ******* chance against any of you. Which is why, as I said, I'm here with you now and I'm going to see another after this too."
Verbena: "I know," she nodded, at last. "I didn't actually expect you to, I just...Meant that it's in your best interested to pretend, to a certain extent. To control it, to a certain extent. So that nothing happened to you, too. I don't...know anything about enthrallment, or mind control. Just mood influence and seduction and...stuff. Why do you think I'm on the floor, so much? If I can calm the aggressive guys down, the bouncers don't have to throw so many paying customers out," she smiled, then straightened up. "Who's the other?"
Leo: "Yeh, it's how I found out about you. I made a comment to CC about how you calm them down and she made a comment, let it slip. CC does it all too, then she found she could control folks. Well, one at a time. I'm her second she said." He looked at her and then slowly shook his head. "I.... can't.... say"
Verbena: That'd be something she'd ask Roy about, later, who was fast becoming her walking and talking connection to Vamp Wikipedia. If he didn't know, he'd find out as soon as he could. Controlling people was new...
"...What do you mean, you can't say? I'm supposed to just let you walk out and up to another set of fangs talking about stuff that you're not supposed to know?" Sara stared at him, then tilted her head. "Who is it, Leo?"
Leo: He smiled apologetically and shrugged. "No. I mean literally. I can't say. CC's words to my head, you know. I can't tell you even if I wanted to - because she commanded I never say anything of them."
Verbena: "Is it someone that's not going to hold it against you or CC, at least? I don't care the name, just...Care if it's someone that you know you can trust, or have a good chance of trusting."
Leo: He opened his mouth to try and answer, but nothing came out because his voice refused to work. Closing his mouth, he coughed, and then tried again - only to have the same thing happen. He sighed and shook his head. "See, literally, nothing in regards to them"
Verbena: "Well, that's extremely comforting, Leo. I'd just like you to know that, you know, in case your were confused of my comfort levels right now." Sara said sarcastically, but almost playfully. To prove it, she held up an 'OK' simple with her hand. "Just...perfectly peach, hon. Yeah... Jesus," she said, shaking her head. After a moment of quiet, she finally sat up a little more. "Alright. You call me, or text me, when you get home. Just...for my sake, okay? And then call me or text if you hear anything, at all, about what's going on. I may not answer, especially if it's in the peak hours of the day, but it'll keep me from running over tracks already tread tomorrow night, yeah?"
Leo: "Huh? Your comfort levels?"
Verbena: "Yeah. My comfort levels. My 'everything's going to be fine' levels." She started laughing, "It's just an expression, don't worry about it. I'm just saying that this person with an unspeaking name doesn't make me feel much better, but there's nothing I or you can do about that. So, you call me. Or text me. Whatever. Anything there is on what's going on, let me know. Just let me know that you got home safe, and let me know what's happening tomorrow night at the club, or anything else you hear."
Leo: "Yeh. Ok. I just...." He frowned and looked at his hands. "I just care. You know? I don't know why - cause she can be a right *****. But, you've seen it yourself. She cares about us, in the club. She deserves to be cared for back you know? And seeing her..... like that." A real and physical shudder ran through his body that was easily to see.
Verbena: She watched him under the fallen blonde hair that slipped over her shoulder. As he spoke, she nodded a little, perhaps even too short for him to catch. "I know...But that's not how you'll remember her as, and that wasn't the last time you’ll see her. Whatever's going on is beyond you and I, both. And if it's something...really bad, we'll be there. Right now, though? She's going to kill us if she comes back and that club's not properly taken care of. Right now, that's the best that we can do, at least until we have something else to work on with what's going on."
Leo: "Yeh... true." He nodded and stood up, feeling like he was in her way and she wanted rid of him. "Well, look, it's down to you now. Her life, is in your hands. So yeh. Anything else happens to her - it's her blood on your hands." It was stated, simply and matter of factly, not trying to guilt her or anything. It was just how things were.
Verbena: Sara's expression twisted when he said so and, despite how he might've meant it, it was exactly how she took it. If the woman, who still had CC, killed her between dawn and the next night, or before Sara could even get a grasp on what was happening with anyone that was her fault?
"Thanks...Leo..." she muttered, standing up from the couch after he did. She assumed he was ready to go, and that everything had been concluded, considering she hadn't wanted to get rid of him, until then. Sara opened the door and stood back. "Call me, and leave a message if I can't pick up."
Leo: He did as he always did, without thinking. He bent down and kissed her tenderly, lips to lips, massaging softly with a hand on the small of her back. Stepping back he smiled and nodded to her. "Thanks for everything Sara. When CC's back, I'll make sure she knows all you did for her. And I'll drop you a text once I'm home later. Enjoy your evening and..... good luck."

After the fight
"Jesus Christ, CC. I don't know how the **** you get up those poles." Pru grumbled as she carried the dead weight of her mini vamp over her right shoulder. Despite Pru being a much older and well trained vampire, CC had managed to land a few good blows on her. One being the missing left arm she had. The other, the missing eye. Prudence wasn't too concerned with the missing eye because it'd give her an excuse to wear a wicked pirate patch and people would like it at the bar. At least she thought they'd like it.
Prudence carried the dead weight of her mini-vamp to a place not too many people knew about. Most of all anyone that might be a punk ***** looking for an easy kill for whatever reason. Yeah, she knew CC was a difficult pill to swallow for most everyone in the community, but hopefully she learned her ******* lesson she was supposed to learn or all this would happen again, with a route that wasn't keeping her here in Harper Rock.
Pru trudged up the stairs with the top half of CC's body swinging from side to side with each step she took. "Yeah, I picked DD, but here I am taking care of your ***. I wish I could kick some sense in that mind of yours." Pru grumbled as she hit the top step of the flight of stairs. "Don't see anyone else here taking care of ya, or ever trying to help ya at all." The red head complained even more, knowing no one could hear her. It was then Prudence realized that complaining or bitching was pointless and even if she complained, it didn't make her feel better, or anything at all. Work had to be done.
Prudence kicked open a door to a bedroom that wasn't ever used, headed for the bed, hunched over it and let the dead weight drop to it. She took a step back, grabbed CC's legs and heaved them to the bed with a grunt. Prudence stared at her mini-vamp and sighed. She didn't know where the **** to start. Why didn't she kill her again? Pru groaned.
Clothes. CC needed new clothes. Pru trudged back down the stairs and grabbed a plaid knee length skirt, dark blue tank top and some towels. The redhead went back upstairs after putting up a message on the DoD board once things had been settled. Only she didn't go to the bedroom. Instead, she went in the bathroom on the second floor and started to make a bath. After it had been filled about half way, the woman went back to the bedroom, grabbed CC by her tattered shirt and hoisted her back up on her shoulders. She grunted at the weight again. "So, we've got to clean ya up." Pru said, as if CC could hear her.
Once in the bathroom, Prudence set a heavy, but limp CC on the toilet top. She took a step back and looked the woman over. She'd seen her naked before, but this wasn't something Prudence wanted to see again. Sure, it was just a body and a female one, but the woman didn't enjoy seeing her naked. "Here we go." Prudence shrugged and went to work undressing CC. First her shirt and bra, then her shoes. She sighed once Prudence realized that getting the rest of CC's clothes was going to be work. She snapped her fingers at a solution. Scissors.
Prudence rummaged around in the medicine cabinet and pulled out a small pair of scissors. With a concentrated look, Pru cut the sides of CC's bottom clothing and hoped that it would work out as well as she thought it would, once the woman pulled her up. It worked well enough, when Prudence draped the now naked body over her shoulders and carried her to the tub. She counted to three and then tried to put CC down gracefully, but failed. CC's bottom half of her body hit the tub and its sides hard, but Prudence shrugged. She'd heal and bruises were better than blood dried on your skin for days. With a much more gentle release, Prudence let the rest of the body fall in to the water, after putting a leg inside the tub.
"I don't have all that girlie weird **** you have." Prudence warned CC as she grabbed the wash cloth she had found and put some liquid soap in it. She rubbed the cloth together to make suds and then nodded her head. Good enough. Prudence grabbed the woman's arms and started washing them, followed by her neck, chest and back, once pulled close to her. But there was blood in other places too. Like her legs, stomach and probably the below the belt areas. Prudence groaned and then changed her mind set. If she was at a crime scene and this was what she walked in on, she'd cope and look at it detached. Prudence grabbed a leg, pulled it out of the tube and then got to washing. She followed suit with the next one. Then, Prudence went somewhere she was pretty sure she'd never go on a chick. "I got a really nice outfit picked out for ya in the other room. So let's finish ya up and see how bad *** ya look!" Pru spoke at the uncomfortable interaction between her mini-vamp and her. Once pru was pretty sure every area was cleaned [as much as she was going to touch things], the redhead grabbed a bottle of shampoo and looked at CC's hair. All she had was shampoo for auburn to red hair tones. "Beggers can't be choosers!" Prudence shrugged, grabbed the wash cloth and got CC's hair as wet as she could. When she was satisfied, Prudence squirted the shampoo in her hand and then globbed it in CC's hair. There was no affection to her touches. CC needed to be cleaned and it was her job and she was going to do it as quick and as efficient as Prudence could. She rinsed the soap out of CC's hair when Pru was sure the task had been managed successfully, then let the tub drain with a quick pull to the plug.
A towel was grabbed from the sink's top and wrapped around CC's body, as best as Pru could wrap it around the woman's body. She groaned, leaned down and hoisted it back over her shoulder. The towel was lost from the awkward moving, but Prudence didn't care. It wasn't like she was looking at the woman and it wasn't like she could see much anyways at the angle. Pru grabbed the other towel and covered CC up half assed and put her back in the bedroom, on the bed. She grabbed CC's upper half of her body and pulled her up towards Prudence so she could put the tank top on her. "Yeah, so not putting any panties on ya, but sometimes it's good to air **** out or whatever." Pru wasn't going to share her drawers with CC because that was really ******* weird. The red head gently let go of CC's upper half of her body and then grabbed the skirt. One leg went in it, followed by the other before Prudence yanked it up to the woman's waist. Once it was there, she twisted it so she could zip and button the thing up. With an accomplished smile, Prudence pushed off the bed and wiped her hands on her own skirt. CC looked awesome. No one would **** with her, if she was up and walking around on the streets. Pru moved to the dresser, grabbed a pony tail band and brush and got to work. CC's hair was really soft and long. A pony tail would make it off her face and easier on Prudence. So, a pony tail was what CC got.
-----
Prudence stared at her mini-vamp on the bed, not sure how long it would take for her wounds to heal and for the woman to have some sense about herself again. With CC being a living vegetable in a few words or less, Prudence cut out the light, went downstairs and claimed the couch by the door. Scarlett was on the table next to her, as well as Layla in case someone found either of them and wanted to start ****. This was her mess and CC was hers. She'd deal with her and if someone wanted to get in the way of that, she'd hurt them. Or worse.
