Lisa moved into the doorway, her fingers trailing the pack strap over one shoulder. She could hear the man’s breath, smell the trace of last night alcohol. Tilting her head she smiled her most sweet and innocent smile, the one that showed she was only 18 when Liz found her and decided to keep her.

“So? Did you get it? I hope thats why you texted me and not for some delusion that your perv *** is going to get a date.” whistling softly as she reached the counter, with barely a slight touch to the top she turned and hopped onto the counter, swinging her legs around. Each leg on either side of the merchant. Lifting one to touch the wall, effectively trapping him between her leg and the other side of the counter.

His voice gruff showing the weakness of his fears as she leaned closer to him. “Yea..yeah I got it. I wouldn’t mess with you.”

Slowly moving her dark glasses giving the man full view of her eyes. “You reek old man. A mix of booze, fear and lust.” Sighing and shaking her head, she leaned back, replacing her glasses. “Distasteful. So?” Holding her hand out she waited while a shaky hand placed a manila envelope in her hand.

Giving him a bright smile. “Thanks.” Turning around she hopped off the counter. The man whispering to her back. “Creepy b****.”

Stopping mid stride. “You know.... its never a good idea to let loose ends hang. Half turning toward him, she lightly tapped on her walking staff. “But you aren’t a loose end right? Oh and if you are going to insult someone, make sure the creepy b**** is out of your ******* shop.” Taking the pack off her shoulder, she tossed it at the man, letting a few twenties slip out the partially zipped bag. “Oh and if you decide to put your chicken *** hand in with them. I will cut your tongue out and make you eat it.” Giving another smile she turned and walked out the shop.

The woman could feel her presence fading from this realm each night that passed. No more were her ears blocking out the noise in this realm, but focusing on a high pitched ringing. At first Elizabeth believed it to be coming from some appliance in the home, but no matter where she went, the pitch stayed the same. It didnt even leave her when the woman went outside the family compound.

Elizabeth knew she was in trouble from that fact alone. The blonde vampiress knew that ring was a warning. She had to get control of her life before it was too late. The woman decided the best way to do that was to do what she loved to do. Her tiny feet carried her up the stairs and to the roof where one of her gardens were at. She tended to various flowers, then disposed of a set of lillies. Lillies she had planted about two yeats ago. They held no meaning to her, and hadn't in some time. Once the lillies were rooted up from the ground, the woman stood, wiped her hands off and sighed. She still heard the ringing.

It seemed not even her favourite past-time could quiet her world. Elizabeth headed to their bedroom, grabbed her cellular device and sent a message to her childe with a fast thought of her mind. Do you have plans for v tonight? Shamus is still in that raid. Elizabeth hit send, then left the family compound to head to the statiom. She hoped Lisa had a better night than she did.

Enough was enough. Giving himself a glare in the mirror that had come in his DC apartment, he decided he was officially sick and tired of not hanging out with his family. Ok so he had screwed himself over, but it was time to move on and realize that he could actually move the **** on.

Knowing he needed to start somewhere, he pulled up his phone and looked through the numbers, a good number of DC were good folks, but one in particular he was fond of but hadn't really gotten to know was Lisa. She didn't talk much on the family crow, but when she did speak, she cut right to the point and didn't whine and gripe like some he could name.

Realizing he couldn't just go out and find her in his pajama's, he got dressed and then texted her, asking if she wanted to kill some zombies or something and perhaps spend some quality family time. With that done, he reread a few things on crownet and muttered about idiots who took **** for granted. Seeing one of the kittens wander by, he found one of the cubbyholes with food and fed it while he waited on her response.

As she walked slowly down the street, she heard a whisper in her ear. “I’ve been stuck in this Odin forsaken form for nearly a year. I am bored of watching more and more of these unworthy creatures be given their godhead.” Sighing she pulled the papers out of the envelope. “Fine Kas. I have something for you to do. Read these name and locations. Go watch, don't try to talk to anyone and for **** sake don't try to take any damn energy from them. Watch their habits and come back and tell me. Then if things go right you can help us get rid of some.”

She could feel the excitement from the creature. The woman loved her battles… freaking delusional tribal queens. She knew when Kasava left, the air felt lighter less tainted. Making her way back to the homestead, she paused feeling the low vibration from her phone. Tapping the button on her bluetooth, she listen to the mechanical voice recite her latest text. A delicate brow arched. Shocked by who it was.

She smiled at the message. She liked him. Sure he was a ho from what she has seen, but he made no excuses and didn’t try to pretend to be other wise. That she respected, plus he was funny. Yeah she could hang out with his flirty ***. Maybe even get him to help with their pest problem. Some family bonding, nothing brings family together like slaughter.

Hitting the button once more she spoke low, “Sure I’m heading back to the homestead. Meet me there. Have some **** I have to do, but maybe you would want to help.” Hitting send she stopped walking. Her staff lightly splashing down into water. Tilting her head she listened for how many were around, then walked on the water. With the short cut she was home in a matter of moments.

****

Inside she settle down on one of the chairs, her paper spread out in the one next to her. Hitting the button on the bluetooth once more, “Text Crazy *****,” After a series of beeps she spoke once more. “Yo Liz, on the main floor, come see the present I got for us today.”
