Lana's Ledger

Post by Elizabeth »

((OOC Note: This is the ledger of Lana; Elizabeth's thrall. This ledger is for materials and funds accrued for Helping Hands and may have her thoughts from time to time on everything))

She looked at all the things in the room, her jaw agape a little. Had she collected all of this? Her eyes looked to other things as she answered her own question and shook her head. No, some things she had never seen before. Elizabeth was apparently a pack rat of sorts. Knives, guns, jewelry, hankies, computer parts. All Lana could do was try to put in her mind the possibilities. Maybe she found some things to be pretty? Lana shook her head quick. Elizabeth didn't seem to be the overly vain type, minus her obsession with shoes. Maybe the things just intrigued her then. That had to be it. It made the most logical sense.

Elizabeth explained what she wanted her to do and pushing aside the urge to sigh at the tediousness, Lana just nodded, moved to her room in the penthouse and grabbed a blue notebook. "All of this?" She flicked a pen in the direction of the things, watched Elizabeth nod and then go on her way. "Looks like we're in for a long night, Nacho." Lana looked at the poor Chihuahua who was dressed in a sweater Elizabeth had to have made him. It was god awful ugly. He made a high pitched "yip," grabbed at a silk hanky and bee-lined out of the room, letting Lana know he had other things to do. "Be that way then." She shook her head, grabbed her long dark hair and put it in a messy bun before claiming a spot on the floor, crossing her legs and started categorizing everything alphabetically and with how many she had of each thing. Tomorrow she would go to the pawn shop and see how much the things were worth and see how much Liz wanted to sell them for.

It had been a busy night for Lana. She stopped at two different pawn shops to try and play the two of them against the other to get the most bang for Elizabeth's buck. She still wasn't one hundred percent sure why Elizabeth had all these things and hadn't sold them yet.

After writing the biggest amount down in her ledger, Lana sent a text to Liz to let her know she was done and waited to be summoned. The ledger was passed to Liz with a confident smile before she went back to the catacombs for the night to continue on with her research for the museum.

Re: Lana's Ledger

Post by Elizabeth »

Lana looked at more items that Elizabeth brought her. This system was getting overwhelming and also taking up her bedroom in the penthouse. She really couldn't complain about opening a bank account with a couple dollars, knowing if she needed anything, Elizabeth would pay for it. But all the weapons in her room....it was getting out of control. Elizabeth needed to collect other things that were not so big. Lana would have to suggest that, or ask her to take up the other bedroom that no one was using in the penthouse. She might actually take it upon herself to move everything in the spare room. As soon as Elizabeth left for the evening.

Lana pulled out her ledger and started getting to work. She documented all the new things Elizabeth brought her or the few items she had found herself.

Items:
  • Ancient Blade (2)
    Ritual knife (12)
    Fine Longsword (2)
    Fine Shortsword (2)
    Enchanted Shortsword (1)
    Box of Perfumes (1)
    Computer parts (3)
    Iron Block (1)
    Silk Hanky (2)
    Silver Ring (2)
    Expensive Makeup (1)

Finally, Liz stopped and listened to me. With this pack rat lifestyle, I'm going to start arguing for two or three bedrooms. One for weapons, one for chemicals and one for other things that aren't sharp, explosive or dangerous all around. I just hope whatever it is Liz has planned won't put my job at risk. Sometimes I've been having a hard time looting some boxes while she's breaking locks and seeing what's behind door number one, two and three. I'm asking for a couple nights off after everything is over and done with.

Items:
  • Box of alcohol (1)
    Box of tools (5)
    Box of toys (4)
    Legal documents (2)
    Milfoil (2)
    Monk`s Hood (1)
    Ritual Knife (6)
    Silver pen (3)
    Stationary (3)
    Wire reel (12)
I need to go to the pawn shop and see how much the stuff she gave me from last time and the things I got this time are worth. I'd suspect most aren't worth a lot, and if she manages to hold on to a few swords, maybe she can donate them to the museum. Who knows what stories behind some of them may be?

After the selling of the various supplies, Lana stopped into the bank to see how well everything had went and what the remainder of the items had managed to bring her in sales. She had deposited a generous donation from Taranto and after that deposit had nothing left in her pockets.
You have $0 on hand and $16000 in the bank.

((OOC: Lana is no longer Liz's thrall, but I want to keep all HH stuff in one place for future events. So deal. <3 ))
Man, I don't even know what all this crap is or who Lana was. This summer break all I'm going to be doing is writing garbage in this book for whatever reason. It's a good thing she's hot, because I wouldn't be doing this crap for someone who looks like a dog. Here's all the crap I'm keeping in this journal thing.

List of Crap:

  • Noise Makers X4
    Smoke Bombs X7
    Delete V4 X2
    Transfer V4 X1
    Decrypt V4 X1
