Hello, new person! Welcome to Path. Hopefully, you'll like it here as much as the rest of us. ^^

Hello all! I'm new, of course. I look forward to RPing (eventually) as I haven't done so in many years.

The sire I chose is currently in vacation mode and his sire is also away. How should I play the backstory when I end up writing one as suggested in the journal thread? Do I wing it? I've read the lore in the wiki, but I couldn't pass an exam or anything.

I just don't want to drive off Canon road on accident or write out the siring alone & it not "work" for the other person. Idk. Any assistance is appreciated. Cheers!

Rudy's player is actually around, just not actively on that character, apparently. You can try dropping a forum message to them, and that should send them an email, and if that doesn't get their attention then someone can nudge them your way. If they don't want to write it out, you can always just sort of agree on a general outline and stay loose with the details. But, that's all up to you two.

And it's always, always good to ask questions, than to try and strike down that canon path on your own. There are some places it can get a little difficult to follow since it's so complex, but there are always people around to answer questions.
