Yes! And it's much easier to level up now than it was years ago. A pure blood human will still level the slowest of the bunch but they can be right up there on the leader board, the guy in 4th place right now is a pure blood human! :)

All of what has been said above, and more! None of us bite and we're very happy to help. If you can't find anything listed and it's about canon, this is always a good resource to check out.

To me, it's really a personal preference deal.

I don't like the pure human path, but I'm also impatient when it comes to the grid and I feel they level way too slow for my enjoyment - I have several sorcerers, though. The longest pure human I had was around a year before I ended up going, "Yeah no, I quit" and turned her.

I think it's certainly a challenge and if its one you're up for, I highly suggest giving it a try. Writing humans is fantastic because they can be clueless, they can be aware of everything, etc. They can be antagonists, protagonists, for vampires, against vampires - its very much your story and you can build around it.

We have a handful of human writers who are also really great resources for information, too.

If you ever want to try something different, you're allotted four character slots in total for free (after that, you have to either kill off a character or purchase another slot for 30 karma, after donating in the karma shop to the game or through patreon).

I agree with the above wholeheartedly. It's worthwhile to play a pure blood human, but I found that leveling my human slower than his counterparts was frustrating. I've much more enjoyed the human classes, but that's entirely a personal preference. However, a pure blood human was fun from a story standpoint and I highly recommend that you follow your inspiration where it takes you!

If playing a pure blood Human, my advice would be to build your character away from fighting NPCs. While generally I advise the opposite, in the case of a pure blood, they level so slowly that the EXP you get from a potential win, won't really help if your character's stats are so low that you regularly end up losing the battle (-4 energy with every fight and pure bloods rarely have more than 50 at maximum).

If you do wish to proceed with being a pure blood that fights, I recommend getting some friends who can get you some decent weapons. It can help you fight more effectively, but even so, you're going to spending a lot of time with Zombies. I would instead invest in Stealing and Mechanics. B&E can be entertaining. Or focus on Business and Speechcraft to be a money maker.

With all that being said, it really depends on your play style and how you enjoy yourself. ^.^

Welcome to Path, everyone! :D

Don't be shy about asking for help or posting on the forum
Please be sure to read the rules and
the best tip I can give you is quoted below;
Doc wrote: Word of advice... Do not rush through the tutorial. I know you want to.. everyone does. but every time you complete a task it renews your energy. Don't waste that energy.. Use it to build your character levels.
Also if you are a roleplayer, I always think it's a good idea to consider starting a journal... which is a solo roleplay thread, and think about what kind of backstory (if any) your character might have had before now.

And if you are playing a vampire, I strongly suggest messaging your vampire's sire here at the forum. <3

But most importantly...
Have fun!

at the hour change, and it depends on your stamina. About 5 energy points I think. Usually enough to do the next task on the checklist which gives you 40 (or 50?) energy. I'll pm a link to some other tips, milk that tut hub for as much exp as you can! ;)
