Since Sirens can enthrall. Why don’t they just use their thralls to procreate?

They totally could, but there's no guarantee it would work given how low siren birth rate is.

Ya'll have been really helpful, really appreciate it. Sorry, I just keep thinking of questions. Here's one I had asked on discord but deleted because here seems easier:

Do clothes react to shapeshifting of Sirens hulk style where they tend to rip or whatever according to the changes. Or is there some mystical property related to it.

Mainly this is so I know if there are clothed human headed birds flying about, or what happens to pants when a Jorogomo suddenly has a spider lower torso. (I also just realized a reason for my Jorogomo to wear a kilt...)

This question also applies to allurists/killers with that animal shapeshifting ability.

Hoping that maybe the above question could be answered. Only bumping this because I wasn't sure if it was seen since I'd responded with Moria without asking another question before.

I looked for that one, as it pertains to shapeshifters. I swear it was asked before but I don't remember how it was answered ... and didn't find it while looking on my phone. I'll try to look later on again.

BUT I think the clothes don't go along for the ride when a vampire shifts into meaner things.

It could be different for the fae types, maybe their clothes are all illusions anyways when they shift into a human form?

And I could be wrong about the vampires' clothes too, I know I have seen both ways roleplayed. I liked having the losses of clothes in my rp cus it plays into the 'stuck without clothes again' running gag I've tortured Alex with for years, lol.

Demifae shapeshifting doesn't make the clothes change shape, so if they grow in size, it'd make the clothes tear, yeah.

Vampires, if I'm remembering what David said correctly, is the writer's choice.

Ah, ok, thank you. Gonna be sure to work this in when I have one of them do it.

Josh, I kinda remember him saying that too but I'm confused at to the how and why (and the when, lol)?

How can vampires shift with their clothes... but the fae races can't? I'm not trying to argue, swear to swiss chesse <3 lol

it's just a thing that I keep wondering about... and looking for but not finding in the earlier pages of this thread.

not sure of the fadebeast part...but david has said more than once that the actual shift was more of an illusion than a true shift, hence being able to carry weapons, not needing to be nude unless wishing it, the last time it was brought up his answer was that when first learned, nudity was better as able to hold illusion better, but with time and xp could also transform clothes, weps and small items to take with.

Is the most relevant post I could find, searching the Help and Advice forum for the keyword “shift”. Provided that’s actually the canon, I think that explains?
