*Frowned slightly, snapping out of the comical mood she'd had moments before. She watched the exchange between Vic and Kenny without saying a word, knowing now wasn't the time for her usual antics*

:::"Sorry, babe. That's my budget.":::

He couldn't deny a sense of disappointment in his chest when she spoke those words. He had looked forward to what she might have been planning for those three nights. But, he couldn't help getting even a little excited at the idea of finding out what this blonde woman wanted. He had never met her before and having spent the amount of money on him as she did, **** had to be interesting.

When Kenlie moved toward him and set the key on the stage in front of him, that smile of his just grew more true. She looked beautiful in her dress and her eyes reminded him of chocolate diamonds, perfect with every facet of her soul. He knelt down to retrieve the key and eyed it, noting its resemblance to one for his bike. "Hey..you two..." He spoke cheerfully to her and Kleo, "This isn't the end of the world. I'm anxious to see what Blondie has in store for me..so should you. People in this town are batshit..could be rather fun. And we'll have stories to tell after."

Still kneeling down, he looked up at the blonde and nodded. "Looks like things worked in your favor."

Kleo grinned at Vic. "Yeah yeah, I know. And that's definitely true...batshit is a good way of describing this place, and a damn good description of the people." She couldn't help laughing at that, as related thoughts filled her mind.

A curious express came over her face when Vic addressed the blonde directly. The sculpted brow above her left eye climbed higher and higher, as she listened. "Maybe." she interjected. His words sounded too much like an ending for her tastes.

A mischevious smile began to spread Kleo's mouth, turning her lips upward. She spoke in a voice that carried.

"Two-hundred and fifty-one thousand, for my hitta."

Kenlie's gaze followed the man's strong, calloused hands to watch as he picked up the key, before she took a moment to study the expression on his features. A small smile pulled at her mouth, and she leaned a little closer to tell him something. "It's in the parking lot... Happy Halloween."

With that, she took a step back from the stage and let her gaze wander back over to the blonde with the accent.
"This isn't the end of the world. I'm anxious to see what Blondie has in store for me..so should you. People in this town are batshit..could be rather fun. And we'll have stories to tell after."
"Oh, I'm entirely curious..." She began, only to trail off when she heard Kleo interject with her bid. That grin spread again, and though she tried to hide the points of her fangs with her hand, it did nothing to muffle her laugh. "This should be fun."

A cool smile crossed the Killer's lips. There was a point to prove, after all.

"Two-hundred Sixty."

Kleo flashed Vic a grin. She'd come to the auctions with every intent of being sold but not doing any bidding herself, yet here she was, throwing up money. She couldn't say she was completely surprised at her impulsive action of getting involved, though. The bearded male up on that stage was one helluva man, a fact she'd learned pretty quickly after meeting him and hitting it off more than well. She seldom met people who, within moments, had her thinking she could trust them. Hell, Kleo seldom trusted at all. But Vic was fast proving himself to be the kind of friend she sought, the kind she considered herself: ride or die. He was a person who was truly there when **** got rough and she appreciated him more than he knew.

Her eyes stayed focused on Vic as she upped her bid.

"Two-hundred and sixty-one thousand."

Katya eyed the woman up with a quirk to her brow. She'd invested a significant sum so far, and this little twit wasn't about to outbid her. She had plans - oh, did she have plans by now.

"Two hundred Eighty."

She could have outbid the woman. Gone on and on for quite some time, if she wanted. On the verge of upping the bid, Kleo's lips pressed tight together at the last moment. Most things she'd ask of Vic, he'd do she thought. She'd gotten caught up in the atmosphere of bidding, and he'd been the only person she'd considered spending a penny on. But she didn't need to.

"Treat him well." she said, her gaze hard on the blonde. "Vic, you know where to find me, if you need me."
