I doubt it still works on wraith guides - just wraiths, but you can ask David if you want to be sure (since that's more related to game mechanics than canon really).Elizabeth wrote:If flesh gift still works on wraith guides....is it still a thing?
Meaning will we be able to do it, even tho the chapter has long ended...

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Flesh gift doesn't work on wraiths. I tried it today. It's only supposed to work on the guides...which was why I was curious if it were still possible to gift the rest of the guides some skin!

Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
I think David intended to repurpose the ritual to work on playable character wraiths - not wraith thralls.
Either way, the wraith guide aspect really is still more related to gameplay than canon, so I can't really answer that one way or the other. If I had to guess though, I doubt the wraith guides can be flesh gifted.

IC I'm really not sure how to explain these nifty gizmos and what I'm super curious about is what the heck do humans know about them? They can see them on grid and use them, and even buy them and put them in their own homes. Plus if arriving in a square with celerity alerts people, why wouldn't popping out of a fade portal in the same square do so?
If this was covered before, I apologize but can't find it.
just had a friend ask me how a fade portal would look to a human and went back to look for how the above was replied to and it really wasn't. Jenny had some helpful info (http://www.mooncalfstudios.com/pathofth ... al#p302684) but not enough for me to answer the other player.
What should a fade portal be described as looking like? Esp., for a human?

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Fadeportals aren't usually visible to the naked eye at all, even for vampires. They are completely invisible, and really the only way to tell one is there is to walk through it and get suddenly transported somewhere else. Using a fadeportal feels like being in the shadow realm briefly though, so oppressive, dark, etc. Fadeportals can be felt, but not seen, which would probably be the same for humans.

Would the oracle have given a warning about the event with the cure? Also, same question but with sorcerer double classed (You know when you are a sorcerer class, and then basically get it again, I think it's called Yen So something or other), I think they're supposed to be able to also get hints to future events and whatnot. Are things like the cure what those are referring to?

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
I don't think so. Normally when the chapters happen, David has that information prepared in advance. At this point, the chapter is over, so there wouldn't be much point. Are there any yao-jen sages active right now? If so, I'll ask David about doing something for them, for the next chapter.

Define active? Definitely one with the Yao-Jen Sage ness :) just not so heavy on the RP. If I had learnt something, noone to tell anyways.

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Still, if the information is juicy enough, it might provide incentive for RP. I'll talk to David about it for the next chapter!
Addendum: Apparently David did/does have chapter 6 related Yao-Jen sage vision fodder. I just didn't know that because I don't have a Yao-Jen Sage XD Once again, David proves he thinks of everything.

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Okay, so I'm probably just a ninny and overthinking it too much, but...
How exactly would a hacker see people in police records? Would it be as a file with their (assumed) name/alias on it, or would there be pictures/stills attached and a hacker could identify them by the stills?
This may have already been answered, but I couldn't find it when I was searching, so if it has, I'm sorry.

Have I gone mad? I'm afraid so.... but let me tell you a secret. All the best people are.
