Hey there! Welcome!!! :)

Feel free to pop into the ooc chats and ask for help anytime you need answers.

And if you are still in the Tutorial Hub? Tip. Don't rush through the checklist. Each task you complete renews your charry's energy so don't waste that extra gas, use it to get more exp and then do the next task when you're getting low on energy. ;)

Well looks like I'm the newest noob actually this is late so there are already more newer people than me

-walks in, finger gun and tries to play it cool-
-put elbow on counter but misses and falls-
-gets back up like it didn't happen-

So this is a lil late but I just wanted to make a post anyways get that proper official hello in to this place, and I'm not good at these so excuse dopey me. I especially have never use these kinda of forums where they're just threads, I could from the wetpaint/wikifoundry RP sites where there are pages so everything is divided and organized with a sidebar to visually show where you are, and quick navigate.
So if I seem stupid... I kinda am. When I see nothing but text when navigating - I just kinda get overwhelmed. Luckily this doesn't apply to roleplaying, I am a fan of making my own super long paragraphs of replies.

I don't know if anyone really looks at this thread based on ... well timestamps of the previous post, but to the one person who replies or even just reading...
Hi ... i love you.
https://youtu.be/VoW9czgQBqE

Jk, I've already gotten a beginner guide's welcome, I guess this one is more people..-y? Personal I guess but like not as in I expect you to tell me your fav color or fav scary movie just a 'Hi'.

On that note - usually my username is ShadowbladeMosssky (13 yr old me being CrEaTiVe) or Shadowblade but I guess our character's name by default are our username which is another thing that weird/different to me. My RP style is more third person so like 'Sinister rolled his eyes and stood up,' not 'I rolled my eyes and stood up.' and I speak very third person about my characters and I will never call myself my characters name or expect to be address my their names. I also kinda hate my IRL name which doesn't make things easier, soooooo
Please don't call me Sinister or Sin. Shad or Shadow is fine.
I realize I'll prob have to put that as a signature or something or maybe make a new avatar that's just text saying that xD

but anways this is longer than I thought, so yeah that all I can think of to say c:

PS - prob should've mentioned Idk how to RP here, and I'll say now I can't do chat RP, I prefer threads because I just get disconnected with too many people typing and posting and the scrolling especially if it doesn't even pertain to me or my character - it's just overwhelming.

Hey there and welcome again (I'm the player of Alexandrea as well, so we've already 'met').

Have you had the chance to read any of the Wiki yet? If not, I really suggest checking it out, especially the parts about the roleplay and Canon.

And I am exactly the same about chat rp. It is so overwhelming for me, it usually triggers my anxiety just by going into a chat room. 8-X

I also suggest you start with looking at some of the open threads and then just dive right in.

ETA
with multiple characters, you can link them all to one master account. If you really wanted to, you could create another account with your preferred moniker and then link your other characters to it. Just keep in mind which account you are logged into when you are posting. (I've posted with the wrong one myself a few times! :)) )

LOL see that right there, I can tell you I will never be able to remember your the same person. My brain just doesn't' connect things so I apologize if future me repeats things to you or constantly forgets. The multiple acounts things just kinda makes me brain dead just thinking about it and Idt I'll be making other character for a while at least.

I did read over the Introduction and haven't broken into the detailed history yet. My free time is limited so I break things into pieces and tackled them slowly - which is why I'm now getting into introductions when I started a day or two ago.

I have thought about replying to a thread tonight or starting my own I'm still just slightly intimidated. Also I haven't gone over my character's siring or figure out his backstory yet so I kinda just want him to be amnesiac who kinda just woke up vampire. I may post in the planning section and just see if I can come up with spontaneous ideas with others.

Welcome again to Path. As far as roleplay goes, you don't need to be intimidated. I think you'll find that Path caters to all levels of writer, and we don't have anything like a minimum post length. Threading (play-by-post, or descriptive forum based RP), is usually the norm for a lot of writers in the community too. I think you'll find that as long as you can get across what you're trying to say, most players are going to love writing with you, and based on what I've seen, you are pretty articulate, and your writing is pretty distinct. You shouldn't have any problem at all.

I look forward to seeing what you do with your character!

Hello. Not exactly a new player but one that went on sporadic breaks for long periods of time. You can call me Dre. Looking forward to getting back into the writing.
