He looked between his sister, his new friend, and the woman who had just walked up and nodded after Aliyah gave her blessing. "I'll stick close. I don't want to get lost in here. Way too much going on." Nate patted his pocket to make sure his wallet was still there. He'd buy the probably over priced water bottles for the group he decided. "Do y'all want anything while we're getting?"

Beverly was confused seeing vampires and humans comingling, every human she had ever met since the change... had shot at her. These to tho, seemed fully aware of vampires, and the sweaty one.. was her sire's brother?. She would have to talk to him about that. The demure allurist acknowledged his greeting, then stood quietly, as the humans left in one direction, and Skylar was dragged off in another. Turning towards Aliyah a hesitant smile played across her plush lips, "I apologize if I was in the wrong.. It is just that I have not met a friendly human, in many years. What happens next? I have never been to a festival."

We’re up. I jump up and down and shake myself lose, put my guitar strap over my head and climb onto the stage. Our set list is pretty short; a song to grab attention, a duet with Dillon and then a familiar song with a twist. Granted, the set is a bit of a mish-mash but we're trying to show we have some range. Once we’re on stage, I don’t hold back. I mean I’m not generally shy or anything, but once I’m on stage the performer in me really comes out. Kinda helps that my voice seems to draw people in too. Another funky superpower of mine. Not that we wouldn’t draw a crowd without it; we’re damn good at what we do. I let Dillon introduce us and stuff, but I do make the time to give a shout out to my newest friend and groupie; Nate.

Beverly stopped, shocked, and turned to the stage. She had heard Skylar's voice, and there she was, on the stage, in the middle, fronting a band. The room narrowed as things fell out of focus to the sides, and her eyes locked to the allurist up front. Slowly her slippered feet moved her closer, until she had a clear view. Looking around now, she saw the two humans Dhara and Nate, and smiled softly as she heard Skylar call out to him. It seemed that her sire's friend was still intend on teasing the young man.

Charlie knew that she was late to this thing, and it wasn't usually something that sat well with Charlie. She loved to be early to everything, to scout out exits and all other sorts of things that the normal vampire thief would look out for. Ways to get in, ways to get out, who is wearing what, who is carrying what, and who would be the easiest to steal from. She licked her lips as she made her way towards the Arena, as a girl just getting used to living in Canada and their love of hockey, she at least knew the place. She stepped in and had been stopped almost immediately by a reporter of some sort. The lady had asked her a few short and simple questions and for that she had been thankful. Had she asked the wrong thing... she shook her head clear of the thought of what if. Once the woman had walked off, clearly happy with the answers, Charlie was free to see what was going on. And what was going on?
She looked up and smiled, seeing Skylar up on the stage singing. She made her way closer to the front of the stage and gave her sister a wave, thinking out to the girl and hoping that the mindspeak wouldn't throw off her sister from her song. ~Looking good sis.~ Charlie herself had gone for something simple, she was contemplating hitting both parties, so her top had a Victorian feel to it and thankfully hid most of her scars from sight. Her black slacks and black pumps fisihed off her look.

"It's not my scene, however it's important that I make public appearances every now and again. I assume that much is the same for you. I can't imagine that socializing with the masses is very high on your daily priority list." She moved over to stand beside him at the table, her hands still firmly in her pockets as she sized up the crowd that was milling around the oddly decorated arena. "So, can I also assume that you've been well? I haven't exposed any violations for you, which means that you're doing an excellent job of staying under the radar."

Rocking out on stage comes all too naturally to me, and while performing has always made me feel buzzed, my new superpowers seem to heighten that to a degree I can’t even begin to quantify. I mean I feel good just for playing anyways. Add in being able to feel the emotions of those around me and mix that in with my ability to draw people in with my voice and well, yeah; a girl could get kinda addicted to this kinda high. Natural talent mixed with superpowers, who knew life after death could be so good. This… right here. This is my own personal heaven. Add in the fact that I have one hell of a boyfriend, a family I actually like and many, many years ahead of myself to enjoy all this and it’s just wow. I really can’t ask for more than what I have right now.

With her arm through Nates, she guided him to a vendor selling water and smoothly purchased a couple of bottles. One for her and one for him. Before a word could be said about not getting any thing for Ali she was already leading him away, weaving towards the stage since she heard Skylar's band warming up a bit. "Ali tells me you go to University. What are you studying?" She asked as they found a cozy spot to stand. She offered him a water bottle, then glanced briefly at the stage before returning her attention to Nate. Skylar was good, but it wasn't her kind of music.

Pandora glanced around the surrounding area as she handed her money over to the ticket master. There was something off about this city, it was something she felt the moment she stepped foot in. Disregarding the chilling aura the enigmatic sorceress made her way into the arena, taking in the lavish decorations. This festival was very intriguing and with a new person of power she wondered what was to come. This Bancroft and Harper Rock were all foreign to her but she planned on becoming quite acquainted with it all.
Hazel orbs surveyed the area catching site of a familiar face in this sea of strangers. Pandora made her way over to the pair, a sly smile plastered on her face.
“Hello Ariadne I am surprised to see you here” She smirked before turning her attention to the male nodding in his direction.

"I'm not a public figure," he replied. "Too large now for appearances."
It was true: as a Killer, he had become monstrously large. He was almost seven feet tall now and was nearing 150 kilograms. To venture out among humans without disguising himself was no longer an option. He used his Shifter powers almost continuously: even while hunting in the sewers. Most of his associates probably would not recognize his true form anymore.
"Wouldn't--" he stopped as the human approached and greeted his sire. Some thought his sire withdrawn, but Wendell recognized her need for social interaction. It led to inane distractions and unnecessary risks like this one: food daring to interrupt Ariadne by name, a sudden need to deviate from topic, and an invariable need to make inconsequential smalltalk.
He only nodded in response to the attention -- his thoughts masked beneath a placid, borrowed face.
