She giggled and then put her arms around him, cuddling in close to him and then blinked. She looked around the room and then looked up at him and tilted her head. She had forgotten he was more of a work a holic and a stay at home guy now since they had gotten together. She had gotten that way too, actually. We don't have to stay love. We can leave any time you're ready.

[Pi dArtois]

It was interesting though, to see so many vampires in one place. She didn't mind she didn't know any of them, she didn't care if she talked to someone, but wasn't anti-social so much as comfortable with her own company. But she was ticking over her plan, running it through her brain and wondering, if this was an indicator how it could be.

Only vampires, for vampires a.. .. sanctuary. It gave her ideas, this event (outside of the weirdly fetish connotations of the naming). It made her (more than before) build the housing for vampires. To feel safe, to have places to go where they could be... understood.

Like here, where blood was served and everyone was comfortable. You might not know everyone, but you certainly knew that everyone else knew. Your secret. Sitting in a lone Queen Anne, (as squeezed into the corner as a person could get without actually standing in it and facing the meeting of two walls), Pi watched.

He looks around, as he turns her so her back is against his chest so they can sway slowly to the music with his arms around her waist. “No, let’s stay, for a bit at least. It’s good to get out for a bit and relax, away from the house and work.” As he says this he feels his phone vibrate. Pulling it out of his chest pocket he takes a look and sends a quick response before putting it back. “That was Zephyr wondering where we were. I told her to come on over and gave her directions and the dress code. I think she’ll show up in a few.”

[Lorelai]

The blonde rest her head on Levi’s chest for a moment, afraid to look up at him after the chastising she gave herself. He may have nodded but she hadn’t seen it and he hadn’t verbalised his acceptance and so she allowed herself to focus on the moment itself and suddenly realised that they were perhaps dancing; even though Levi didn’t do that.

“I really am sorry Levi,” she said looking back at him after a while. “I just couldn’t help myself. I love you too. And you are very handsome and extremely intelligent. I have told Pru that.”

She wanted to do as her conscience had suggested and kiss him, but he had suggested that they don’t do that sort of thing in public, so she didn’t, however she couldn’t stop her focus shifting from his eyes to his lips. Biting her lower lip she swallowed and fell silent.

[Serendipity]

She turned so that her back was against his chest and swayed with him. Her eyes scanned the room, watching all the people. Seren gave a nod to his words, though, she didn't truly believe that. It was always best at home. Home was safe, or as safe as you could get.

Time in this city had made her paranoid. So much so that she jumped when his phone went off and then sighed before smiling. "This will be nice for her. Shes not been out yet." She then began to get worried. She hadn't been out yet and she hoped this would go well. She didn't want the girl to vanish due to, god only know what that could happen here tonight.

The sight of so many vampires together in one place was almost against logic. To her knowledge, vampires were fairly solitary creatures, choosing to remain tight knit groups, rather than one that gathered in a single place. Shya glanced at the faces around her as she moved through the crowd, taking in the way they acted together when in the face of their own kind...and only their own. There was no risk of human involvement, and they were free to be the creatures they were always meant to be.

Her knowledge of other vampire was limited, and the only one she had come into contact with, at all, was Enver. It was about time she moved outside of the bubble she had created. If there was even a chance she might find a friendly face, then it would be worth a shot. The only way to find out, was to actually go. And now, here she was. Surrounded by unknown vampires.

[Levi DAmico]

Levi brought one hand up to stroke the back of her head as they continued to sway. The lull in the atmosphere made the dim light seem darker, the music seem morose. Another apology came and passed him by because as she kept talking, he recognised that she once again kept talking about Prudence. He shouldn’t have minded that he was voted second in her life, but he did. He should have been more startled by her off the cuff admission of love, but he didn’t. Levi felt predominantly numb, right up until he felt his phone buzzing against his heart. Levi sighed angrily and withdrew. He took out the phone, checked his message and looked down to Lorelai with dead eyes.

“I’ve gotta take this… Uh… What do you wanna do?” He wasn’t insinuating that she leave with him, but he was giving her the option.

[Zephyr (DELETED 5643)]

The night had been dull, just practicing the piano as usual in her room and getting frustrated with herself, until the buzzing of her phone gives Zephyr some relief as she sees it's Jan. finally the evening would be more exciting as he wanted her to join them at a party. After searching for anything to where she hurrys out excited.

Zephyr fumbles with her phone to tell Jan that she's arrived, almost tripping with her heels on as she enters the place. She straightens her small black dress a little and spots her Sire from across the room, waving and going as fast she can without falling on her face.

[Lorelai]

Lorelai hadn’t even realised what she’d said, though all of what she’d said was true. Still when he pulled away she couldn’t help but wonder what she’d done, that was until he pulled his phone out.

“You have to go?” she asked, sounding somewhat disappointed. “I understand. I might just stay a little longer. Unless you desire my company? Am I allowed to come with you?”

She wasn’t sure if she should leave as she had half promised a dance to Mordechai and there was the chance that Prudence might yet show up. Her hand instinctively reached for his free hand; whether she was saying goodbye or hoping to stay at his side was unclear, she just felt that in that moment she needed to be close to him.

[Janoric]

He sees his child walk in and turns Serry to see her. “Child, glad you could come, you look lovely.” He says to her, making room at the table for her, pulling Serry with him to make room. “How was your day Zeze, would you like something to drink?” He ask as he pats Serry’s rear before moving away, seeing if the child wanted anything as he went and topped off their drinks.
