As Kira tended to her weapons, Alexandrea took care of hers as well. She paid extra attention to the blade of her sword. She had managed to find and hold on to a high quality longsword that glowed with enchantment. It would be gone within a year but she had no way to know that. The idea of having to break in a new thrall had never crossed the Allurist's mind at that point. And the idea that her Morgan might one day die on her never would enter the blonde's head until it was already too late.
Alexandrea's mood then was an extremely satisfied one. Alston had done well and she watched with a huge grin as his used what was handy in his environment to dispatch one more of the night's undead creatures. It was still a little soon to know for sure what kind of Vampire Alston Hughes would be, but the young Killer showed a lot of promise and skill. Now that he had seemed to start to adjust to things.
The hair on the back of her neck stood up for a moment, and for a brief moment Odin came into Alexandrea's mind. But... 'not' Odin. The once familiar feeling of being watched had stolen across the edge of the Allurist's mind but was gone as quickly as it arrived. She looked behind her out of habit, or reflex. She didn't really expect to see anything there. Certainly not Odin, he had stopped stalking Alex ages ago.
And she didn't see Odin, or anyone. Just some late fall leaves blowing in the autumn breeze, a hint of winter in the air. She shrugged her shoulders and looked back at her friend and her childe. "Well I'm not tired and I'm up for almost anything. It's up to Alston and how he feels. It IS his first night. We need to keep that in mind despite him being a natural at the hunting so far."
