Kira was barefoot again while in the far back of the temple, what would be called The Grove. She wasn't sure if she should have put in the plants herself, she felt like she was going to kill them just by touching them. She used some of the same ideas as the patio at the shared house with Lexy when it came the little sitting area. Puppet had helped digging out a crescent moon shaped area that would be a pond.
'Kaley...' Warrior said, and kept repeating the name when Kira did not answer.
"What is it?" Kira snapped, "And why are you using that name?"
'Because you're acting like a priestess not a Warrior. Of course Dark Lady..'
Kira stopped as she put in the finally bolt into the bridge that went over the pond, not that it went anywhere but it was nice just to sit or stand on. "What is it that you want anyway?" she asked. She packed up her collection of tools, some of them were stolen from buildings, some were from the contractors that were here before. They had nice tools so she just swayed them that they should give them to her as a gift.
'Fire...need fire.'
Kira frowned, "You have such a one tracked mind. Give me some time damnit." she grumbled. She took a look around at the plants before picking up the bag of tools and headed down the hall to the main temple area. "Need some seating in here.." she said, another thing to put on her list. She headed out of the temple and headed home to take a shower.
Some time later she headed off towards the Met.
She stepped off the train and headed out onto the street, that's when she heard someone else coming towards her. Since her fight with David that pointed out that she never paid any attention to scents, she started to take notice. She just didn't care before but realized that might come in handy. "Windy.." she said softly, spinning around. She moved her upper body back in time for the blade to miss her head but it hit her leg pretty good. She retaliated with a gunshot across the throat. She stared in surprise, normally she wasn't very good at hitting people with guns unless she was flipping around, running up walls and such.
He didn't stick around for a chat this time. She headed back towards the Met and sought out a towel to wrap around her leg and hoped no one asked any questions.

Kira stared at her notebook, she would always get to three, two, or even one word left. Then she couldn't just figure out the last one, the Demi-Fae would break out. First time it just ran away, second time it cracked her skull. She rubbed her head with a soft growl. "Words always changing.." she muttered.
She tired again, getting to one word left. She stared intently at the Demi-Fae, reading off the last word. The ritual complete, Kira grinned.
She took out her cell phone and called Puppet. "Can you come to Willow Court?" she asked.
Puppet blinked, "Already in Willow Court. I'm at the other house. Why?" he replied.
Kira frowned, "Well come over to this house." she said impatiently.
"Fine.." Puppet replied, he headed over to the door and went to leave the house. "Ow! What the ****!?" he grumbled, he then heard Kira cracking up on the other end. "What did you do!?"
Kira had to take a moment to calm down before she could reply. "It's...a thrall barrier." she said, laughing again. "Guess you're stuck in that house for a day. Have fun." she said and hanged up before he could say anything else. She tossed the notebook in its spot in the altar.

December 1st, 2012
Kira sat on the sofa, in her normal way, book in hand. Her foot moved up and down on the back of the sofa as if to a beat of a song.
Puppet looked over at her and shook his head. "Is that all you ever read? History and languages? Try some fiction." he said.
"Think I'm already in a fucked up fairy tale." Kira replied simply.
"Well, at least I didn't say romance."
Kira coughed, "Oh so I can compare how normal people do such things?" she said, somewhat bitterly. She wasn't a romantic and she wasn't into that sort of thing either. Though it would remind her just screwed up her life was when it came to that department. "How long does a spouse have to be gone from your life where you can break the ties?"
Puppet blinked, "Have no idea.." he replied. "Sure he just isn't busy and avoiding you?" he went back to scrubbing the floors of the Halloween 'blood'. He hoped it was fake but it was something he had been working on forever and was now just making a dent in it. Kira still never said how she got those ghost images to work, in fact she said she had no idea what he was talking about.
Kira rolled her eyes. She tossed the book aside and picked up her phone instead. Slicing up fruit with a swipe of her finger. It was a shame it wasn't bodies with the goals of chopping off their heads. She had quite a collection of heads now, she hoped Puppet never opened the wrong freezer...well, that might be entertaining. "Deck the halls with blood and eyeballs..." she suddenly sang.
Puppet dropped the scrub brush, staring wide eyed at her.
Kira looked over at him. "What?" she said.
"No more blood damnit!" Puppet said bewildered. "You can't be serious."
Kira frowned, "I wasn't...the cabin just had a Christmas tree remember. Nothing morbid about it." she said. "String some fingers together, hang them up..." she started to laugh as Puppet turned rather pale. "I was kidding!"
Puppet shook slightly. "I never know with you.." he said.
Kira straightened up on the sofa and got up. "Oh I should soo sing that to Dru! She would be most creeped out by it." she said with a grin. She slipped her phone back into her pocket before looking at him. "Are you about done? Got some lights to hang outside."
"Why can't you do it?" Puppet grumbled. "Certainly more agile then me."
"You are going up a ladder and doing it not me. This house and the other one." Kira replied.
Puppet grumbled more as he finished up the cleaning. He grabbed the box of lights and headed outside with her. "Going to at least spot the ladder?" he asked.
"Sure. I'll even catch you if you should fall." Kira said.
"Really?"
"Of course not."
Puppet frowned, he moved the ladder over to the edge in front of the house. He carried the lights up as Kira held onto the ladder at least. Kira however got distract by Sof who trotted over with a dead bird and put it on the ground by Kira.
"Another present?" Kira said, she picked up the cat and walked off with her.
Puppet felt the ladder wobble. "Ki...Kira?" he said, the ladder tipped over too far and he crashed into a bush.
"Puppet!" Kira's voice said, Puppet thought she was concerned about him but then she said. "Look what you did to the bush.."
Puppet sighed and just laid there. "She is going to be the death of me." he muttered.

Kira's phone went off, alerting her to one of her sensor alarms had been tripped. Checking the security camera footage that she could also check from her phone, she realized she had seen this man before (Ginzburg). It was the second home he had been that was hers. "Wonder if he is wondering into everyone's homes.." she said, but Lexy never said anything about the man showing up at the other house.
"You said you had a human stalker before.."
"Oh, I joked on that. He kept coming back to the cabin for some reason. At least I've spoken to him. This one...have no idea." Kira replied, he was either human or a shadow, she couldn't be sure with just some footage from a camera. "The cabin is most likely the only one Windy doesn't know about. Now that's a stalker for ya."
Kira left the Temple and got on her motorcycle to get there faster. She might as well ask what this man was doing in her home. Of course by time she got there, he was gone.
"You should have teleported."
"Oh shut up." Kira grumbled and headed back to the Temple in time to see Lexy had shown up. The intruder fall from her mind now that she was here, it was replaced with getting Jarrett alone long enough to talk about their joint gift for Lexy for Yule.

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~ 12/02/12
December 4th, 2012
It had been just another night at the Met. Hanging out with friends, listening to the music, taking in the dancing and energy of those who showed up there. Though a quiet night sometimes didn't stay that way. Someone she didn't know, no surprise, had walked in and attacked everyone at the booth. Save for Lexy, she had been unharmed. Well, so had Jarrett and herself for that matter, the man missed. He didn't however miss her sister Dru.
Kira was about to track the man down when Dru had gotten up to do just that. She was amused that the girl would go after him and when she returned she had said she had cracked his skull with a shide. She grinned, she was proud of her sister for striking back. With his location learned, she thought she might play with him too. She got open, following most likely the same path Dru had just taken to find him at Honeymead.
She didn't use a power, she lashed out with her bladed tonfa and took out his eye. It always wasn't what she had planned to do, but it just happened. Another eye to add to her collection.
She told him she didn't mind a bit of bloodshed, but if he wanted to play he should have just asked instead of running away like a coward. She thanked him for the eye to add to her collection. She took out one of those hankies she stolen and wrapped the eye in it. Returning home to add it to the jar before going back to the Met. Dru after all wouldn't have been happy to see her new eye, but she told them that she got the eye.
Kira wasn't sure where Lexy's mind was at, maybe because she hadn't been attacked she failed to notice. She thought that they had went out to attack Damien. His eye would not be any fun, it would turn to ash. She would have to get a fake one to take its place and that just wasn't the same.
She started to hum 'Deck the halls' but with her own lyrics to it. She stopped, she still needed to put up a tree.

Running Of the FadeBeasts
Kira came back up from the small unfinished basement. "Big freezer wouldn't work too well. The fadebeasts would eat my heads.." she muttered to herself as she went into the living room.
Puppet looked up from the sofa. "God I hope I didn't hear you right.." he said.
Her green eyes moved over him, she leaned on the back of the sofa, looking down at him. "The fadebeasts would eat my heads if they were all in the same freezer." she said.
Puppet groaned, covering his ears. "Why did you have to repeat that!?" he protested.
"Just seeing if you heard me right." Kira said with a grin. "No matter, no big freezer. Shall just stick with the chest freezers. Just get them in the basement.."
"I'm not helping." Puppet replied, getting up and headed towards the door.
"You are too. Its a two person job at least." Kira said, when he didn't stop, she grabbed his arm.
Puppet had came ready for this. He took out a thing of finger nail polish from his pocket, the color changing mood one. "Go get it." he said, tossing it over the sofa. As soon as Kira's eyes widened and took off after it, Puppet took off out the door.
Kira had jumped over the sofa to catch the bottle. She wheeled around towards the door, seeing he was already gone she sent him a mind message. Just you wait until I can summon your *** back to me when you decide to run!
She huffed and went upstairs to put the bottle away. Damn man had a plan. Just because the fadebeast no longer ignored him, he didn't want to help. He was too used to the days where he could sit with them and Kira couldn't come near.
"Fine. Don't need your damn help." Kira muttered, then again she should have made Dru help since it was half her idea. First one to tackle, Surprise. She tapped a finger to her chin. Where was that one hiding at? Since it hadn't popped out when she came upstairs, but it might still be up here.
She crossed over to the hallway between Dru's and David's rooms, listening for any sounds. Deciding that it wasn't there, she turned back towards the stairs. As she got halfway down, she heard a growling grunt. She jumped forward, landing on the floor and spun around, she started to take a step back. "Catch me if you can." she said. She turned back around when it was moving forward. Off into the kitchen, Silverware eyeing the pair as they went by. Kira took a couple of steps down the basement before jumping up, grabbing a bar and lifted her body up until the fadebeast went by, giving it a good kick on the back as it went. She dropped down and hurried up the steps, closing the door.
Kira sighed, "One down.." she said, looking at Silverware. She would get that one later. She hurried off back upstairs, finding a spare set of handcuffs in a drawer she waved them out in front of her at the fadebeast in her room, Handcuff. Slowly it moved itself from its perch in the corner to follow her out of the room and down the stairs. She backed her way into the kitchen, making a note that Puppet would be cleaning the drool off the floor later. She reached the door, putting one hand on the door knob, she turned it and at the same time used Hall of Mirrors to cast her self down the stairs of the basement so Surprise would stay down there. She threw the cuffs down, stepping away in time as the other fadebeast ran passed. She slammed the door.
"Alright.." she said, locking eyes with the last one. She left the room a moment to get some silverware she had picked up cheap. She hit the metal together to get its attention. It looked like it wasn't wanting to leave the ones it already had, but being greedy it left the counter with the silverware and ran towards her. Using the same trick as before, the last fadebeast was locked into the small, unfinished basement. She bolted the door. "Wonder if I should have made it metal.." she pondered about the door. She would see how long it would last.
Kira strolled back into the living room, first feeling like tracking down Puppet and smacking him but decided to flop down on the sofa for a cat nap. Fadebeast trapping wasn't easy work.

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~ 12/02/12
December 15th, 2012
Kira had Puppet take the tree out from storage from the cabin and bring it over the house. She didn't feel the need to put it up in a house for the family, who did she have now? Mama was gone, she wasn't close to any of the extended family, no childer that cared so Dru might as well just come over to this house. If she could get the girl out of her room that is.
She was perched on strairs as Puppet put it in its stand. Yep, it was a fake tree. She didn't care too much for the smell of pine, and needles getting everywhere, fire hazards. Not to say you had to ask the tree if it was okay and for all you know there's a fae there ready to bite a limb off. "Going to spend the holidays with your family?" she asked Puppet. "All those brothers of yours.." she added with a grin.
Puppet looked around the tree at her and glared at her. "Still shopping for a replacement?" he said bitterly.
"Now, don't be like that. It's just...back up plan, in case something should ever happen to you." Kira replied innocently.
"Like I trust you." Puppet muttered as he locked the branches into place.
Kira faked a pout, "That hurts." she said but she jumped up then down to the ground next to the box of lights and other things she had for the tree. Sof was on the desk by the computer, watching intently, the movement of the garland had her full attention. Kira stopped and slowly looked over at the cat who looked at her. "No, don't you dare touch the tree, or anything on the tree." she said before she started to put the lights on the tree.
Puppet just shook his head, "I'm leaving before you start singing those morbid carols." he said and headed out the door.
After twenty minutes, Kira had the tree how she wanted it. She stashed the boxes and went upstairs.
Sof had just watched, not getting in the middle of things but as soon as she left, she jumped down and trotted over to the tree. She was now under it, looking up into the branches, watching the lights a moment before jumping up. She slowly claimed her way up towards the top of the tree. It was fine at first, she was quite happy with herself but soon the tree started to tip over. Her eyes went wide and she gave a yowl as the tree came crashing down.
Sof jumped back up on the desk, staring down at the tree as Kira hurried downstairs. Her green eyes went from the tree then to Sof, who acted like she had been there the whole time. Kira glared at the cat and growled. She was about to tell Puppet to fix it when she saw Lexy's thrall, she would ask nicely for her to fix it instead.
"Just for that Sof...you are going to be Santa.." Kira hissed, and Sof just tilted her head.

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~ 12/02/12
January 13th, 2013
Kira had fallen asleep, a book laid face down on her chest. She had looked up at the glowing stars on her ceiling but fell asleep before returning to the book.
She realized quickly she had fallen asleep, she found herself in her Inner World. The fog shifted around until she could see the fires and the water. "Now what.." she muttered, she didn't have to look down to know she was wearing a simply white outfit, she feel the soft light fabric against her skin as it blew in the light breeze.
She moved towards the well, but remembered that Warrior had thrown her in it when she took back over her body. She moved past the well, towards the fires. She could see the outline of what she guessed was the temple, something that no longer stood in the present time.
As she reached the end of the light, stone walls rose from the ground, runes of protection burned into the stone. She stared at it confused, she also realized the names of people she knew were on different stones.
"What is this about? Where are you Warrior?" Kira called out.
"Protection against them. Some hurt you but you don't seem to care. But least we forget, maybe we can see our home again."
Kira still didn't know where her first self was at but she had a bad feeling about this. This is my world, my dream, she reminded herself. She lifted her hands up, a sledgehammer appeared and she swung it towards the wall with all her might. The cracking of stone, pieces of it flew out as if it exploded. She took in a shuddering breath, the air suddenly was freezing cold. The hammer disappeared as she turned around.
Warrior stood there, same outfit with the red cloak hiding her face but she could see the red hair still.
Kira moved towards her, "I swear, if you mess around in my head I will find a way to lock you up!" she yelled.
Warrior pulled the hood down, expressionless. "Fine, I won't get involved in your social life, Kaley." she said.
"Stop calling me that." Kira replied, Warrior waved a dismissive hand.
"Dark Lady then, you hardly fit the name of Kira Kerr." she said simply.
Kira glared, "Oh just because I'm not more like you. How the hell did you end up as a priestess." she shot back.
"There are two sides, always. Kaley and Kira, the warrior and the priestess. You just mixed and confused." Warrior replied.
Kira shook her head, "By the goddess you are annoying. If I could kill you, I would." she said.
Her other self grinned, "To kill me, is to kill a part of yourself. Obviously." she said.
Kira moved closer, thinking about wrapping her hands around that pale neck or taking a dagger and stabbing her over and over. "I don't need you. I will always be me. Your time ended long ago. You have answered very little of my questions." she said.
"Don't ask what you don't truly want to know."
Kira growled at her but felt something heavy on her stomach which made her wake up. She opened her eyes and looked down. She first noticed the book and set it on the nightstand then eyed Tucker who had his front half on her stomach.
"Just because you're big enough to get on the bed, doesn't mean you can lay on me." Kira said, she looked over to the other pillow, Sof was curled up there but her eyes was watching the dog. Kira sat up which Tucker get off her but he rolled over, baring his belly. She patted his stomach. "I feel like I have forgotten something." she said. She ran through the list of names Warrior had on the wall, she couldn't place anything. "Did I feed you guys..?" she said, but no, Puppet normally checked that too. And if they were hungry they had their own ways of getting your attention.
Kira shook her head and laid back down, rolling to her side and noticed Sof had went back to sleep. Tucker had rolled back over and inched his way until his face was close to her own. "Lay down and behave." she muttered. She sighed, "At this rate, I'm going to need a bigger bed.."

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~ 12/02/12

Kira stared at the mirror. If she didn't know any better, she would have thought she was a human who hadn't had a week's worth of sleep. It had only be two days but many more of than that was filled with stress. She didn't think vampires were supposed to be effected by such things.
"You look like ****."
Kira didn't know she had her eyes closed until Puppet's voice spoke. She opened her eyes and looked over at him. Normally she would have most likely yelled at him but she only said, "Gee, thanks." she said.
"The plumber is here." Puppet added, he moved in out of the way as the large man came in, carrying a box of tools.
"What the hell happened in here? Some wild party?" the plumber asked, whistled a bit.
"Yeah, you can say that. No other questions, just get it fixed." Kira replied. She moved passed them and Puppet followed after her. She leaned against the back of the sofa.
"So, what's going on?" Puppet asked, he crossed his arms as the plumber started to fix all the damage to the bathroom.
Kira looked up at him, her eyes were tired and didn't hold the normal spark. "Not much sleep I guess." she replied. "Feel like every time I close my eyes, Warrior might try to take over. Guess I need to show her whose boss again." she added with a sigh.
They watched as the plumber moved from the bathroom, with old stuff then back inside with the new stuff.
"Why is he working alone?" Puppet asked, "Mean, he's pretty strong but, thought he'd have someone else with him."
Kira shrugged. "Have no idea." she replied, she only was looking at who had the cheaper labor costs and parts. She didn't feel like adding plumbing to her list of things she can do. The bathroom was a mess thanks to David, she hadn't felt like messing with it until now. Not like many people even used the bathroom here. Of course Dru had to go to the sewer home or the cabin if she wanted a shower, Kira had plenty of places to go if she needed a shower.
She didn't realize Puppet was now in front of her. She looked up at him confused.
"Anyway, you're stronger than Warrior. Just kick her *** again and relax. Go to the club, go kill some people, you know, whatever." Puppet said.
"I don't feel like doing that at the moment." Kira replied softly.
Puppet stared at her. "Okay, now I know you're sick or something." he said.
"Don't get sick." Kira reminded him.
"You know what I mean." Puppet replied. Kira shrugged, looking towards the bathroom.
Puppet pulled her to him without much fuss, it was only a hug. Kira was too tired to really protest. It had been awhile since she had been around any one besides Wild Man David and he wasn't much on conversation without a translation from John. Kira rested her head against his chest, listening to the steady heart beat. Any other time, this wouldn't happen. This made her vulnerable. She didn't know how long they were like that when the plumber cleared his throat.
Kira pulled away, pushing Puppet back with one hand. Puppet thought he was seeing things as she looked just fine now.
"I'm done. Here's the bill." the plumber said, holding out the invoice.
Kira moved over and looked at it. "This isn't what we talked about on the phone." she replied, her eyes narrowed.
"Pay up lady, unless you got other ways to lower the price back down to what we discussed." he replied with a grin.
"Oh, I think I have a way." Kira said with a low growl. She grabbed his arm, turning him away from at the same time so she could get a hold of his back and slammed him against the wall. "How about free, asshole."
"Kira...when I said kill someone. I didn't mean the plumber." Puppet said with a sigh.
Kira turned towards him. "You heard what he said! He was trying to rip me off. And trying to get...other things." she said. She turned back to the body, checking his pockets for his wallet and keys. "Oh look, nice little worn spot where he puts his wedding ring. I just did a woman a huge favor." she said, taking his money and put it back with him. "Clear the hall carpet. The fadebeasts going to feast tonight."
Puppet did as he was told and pulled the hallway carpet into the living room so Kira could drag the body into the kitchen. She had put bars on the basement door just in case they managed to get through the first door. She unlocked it, and quickly opened the door, and shoved the man down the stairs with her foot. She heard him groan, "Oops, wasn't quite dead. He will be soon.." she said, she closed the door and locked it back up.
Kira moved back into the living room. "Clean up the blood. I'll go get rid of his truck." she said.
"And what are you plan on doing if someone comes looking for him?" Puppet asked.
"We'll come to that bridge when we get to it." Kira replied simply and headed outside. She got into the truck and wrinkled her nose, "Nasty in here." she complained but drove off to go dump it elsewhere in the city. From there she went to the temple for some time to herself.
