Alexandrea clapped and cheered as her Kiwi made quick work of taking prisoner of the new critter. The soon to be 'Ex-Feral', having had no clue what it had wandered into, become exhibit number one in the classroom know as the Quarantine Zone.

She noticed her childe react with his body language, cringing away even as he moved closer to study the appearance of the Feral. Once the basics were taken care of for Alston, Alexandrea planned to teach him Poker. It would help him to mask giving himself away with reactions.

"A Necromancer is one of the paths we walk as Vampires, Alston. Just as you are on the path of the Killers and Kira and I are on the Allurist's Path. I'll go into more detail later, but one day you can grow strong enough to bridge to that path, or others."

"They can bring life to the dead sometimes, like the Mooncalves. Or they can heal. I myself have the ability to help you to restore your blood thanks to crossing that path. As far as Ferals go? I am not sure. Rumour is that they used to be just zombies but after biting some of us... well. They went 'feral'."

"So, had we all enough of a look? Or do we want to try and teach it to sing?"

Alex's tone was in good humor, as if she was joking. But she was growing uncomfortable with the treatment of the Feral. It was just a dumb monster. Doing what monsters did. No reason to prolong it's misery.

Kira raised an eyebrow as he did away with a zombie. "Have you used a gun before?" she asked curiously. That was pretty good for a first time. She looked over at Lexy, as she explained about the creatures and the path of Necromancer. She looked down at the struggling feral, taking out her blades from its body and quickly stabbed it in its head, it stopped moving under her weight and she got up.

"Don't expect any other live captures for teaching purposes..." she said, it was hard not to go into fight mode and just kill something. Of course she did have fadebeasts in a cage that could be used. She sure wouldn't be able to do capture another one, she knew those three personalities well enough she knew how to get them to down in the basement. She never expected fadebeasts to even have personalities. Not that it was much of a personality. One liked silverware, one liked surprising and attacking people, which was pretty normal for a fadebeast. The other one liked her handcuffs.

She tilted her head as more zombies started to show up because of the sound of the gunshots. "Here comes some more target practice, Alston." she said, taking out her own gun to be ready to shot so he didn't get ganged up on if the numbers were too many.

He felt like he was in a horror movie, not only seeing zombies and strange creatures but also the paths that his sire was teaching him. If a Necromancer could bring up the dead then what could he do that made him supernatural? Hearing Kira asked about his shooting he readied himself as a group was coming near.

"Since nine I hunted, 15 I started my gun collection and I was number ten in hunting competitions." Aiming at one zombie he squeezed the trigger and watched as the creature head now had a hole in it. Turning he shot one in the temple , then waited as two zombies lined up. Pulling the trigger again the bullet hit one and went through the other. Watching them fall he turned and finished off the other two that were nearing close to him and the group.

Knowing the gun personally he knew the bullets were running low looking at his sire he smiled. "I need more bullets, this has a couple left in its chamber."

Alston's handing of his weapon was expert, and Alex looked her new childe up and down with fresh eyes. "I'm impressed! You are a much better shot than I started out to be. It took me awhile to get used to guns. I even shot a friend of mine in the crotch once. It's actually how we became friends." The Allurist laughed brightly and then drew out her sword. "Myself, I prefer my toys to be sharp and shiny." She waved the blade around slightly, letting the light from the moon and the lights from the buildings across the river dance on it's long curved blade.

In the gangway between two buildings across the street, the already dark shadows became darker by looming shapes that were taking form. "Sorry. No time to dig it out and reload. Another reason I like swords, they don't run out of ammo. What ya got will have to hold you until I get back. So watch your back." Alexandrea sprinted across the street as two identical fadebeasts emerged from the shadow of the abandoned supermarket, certain Kira would be right behind her.

She engaged with one quickly, narrowly missing her face being bitten off as she thrust her blade up and into the misshaped creatures chest. Shaking the critically wounded monster off of her sword, Alex swung the weapon up just in time to block a swing from the first monsters' twin. She could hear the first creature struggling to stand behind her while striking out rapidly one blow after another on the fadebeast that was still on it's feet.

Kira checked some of her pockets. "Hum...might have bullets." she said, she would pick up anything she could off a gangster either to keep or sell. No wonder he was good at shooting, "I prefer pointy weapons as well." she said, she looked off where Lexy was looking. "Well ****.." she said, spotting the shift in shadows and the fadebeasts. One was plenty to keep a person busy but two? You'd get the **** beaten out of you. She tossed a couple of bags of bullets towards him, she didn't have time to look inside to see which one he needed.

She was hot on Lexy's heels, this sure was an interesting night. She took a swing at the beast that Lexy wasn't engaging, but that one had went to attack and now the first was going in for the attack as well. Kira lashed out with her blade, cutting into its arm. She ducked as it swung around to hit her, she rolled out of the way as it charged her.

She ran as it chased after her until she got to the wall, she ran up it and flipped over the beast. She landed behind it and stabbed it, she wasn't too sure if it was its back, even though she was hoping to get the spine, it was hard to tell. She quickly withdrew her weapon as it turned around again, growling.

Kira ducked and weaved as it lashed out at her, making the wrong move, she got slammed into the wall. She fell to the ground, holding her ribs. She blurred as it went to slam its arms down on her and she ended up behind it again. She used Hall of Mirrors to keep it confused as to which one was her so she could strike again, slicing open its leg. She then used harmful Illusion, it growled and screamed as she damaged its mind.

Catching the bullets he made a mental note to buy a sword and start practicing. Loading the chamber he ran out to see his sire and Kira fighting two monsters. Standing there for a moment he heard footsteps coming up behind him. Turning he saw another zombie and shot it point blank in the head, shrugging he turned and watched both of them battle.

Not knowing if he should go and help he kept watch around him making sure nothing else attacked them. He liked how the night turned out, and wondered what else was in store for the three of them. Looking out he saw another zombie, raising his gun he shot the creature and watched it fall to the ground.

Moving around he kept eliminating the zombies to keep them away from his sire and Kira. Watching there technique he was amazed how quickly they moved. Startled by the roar of the beast he wondered what Kira did to make him do that. Moving fast he stopped and looked at her. "You ok? Do you need any help?" Stepping back he kept moving around so he wouldn't be attacked.

Alexandrea finished off the one fadebeast with a quick thrust into's face. Whatever brains, if any, the misshapen creature had were sliced into bits and pieces as Alex swung the sword's blade back and forth through the split skull. With a quick turn, the blonde pulled her weapon free as the monster collapsed dead.

Joining Kira, Alex was in time to see the creature of nightmares suffer through a few of it's own before the the injury Kira had done to it's leg caused it to stumble. Knowing her friend would finish it off, Alexandrea stood next to Alston to watch the end of the battle.

"She's fine. This is just a little fresh air and exercise. So what do you think of Harper Rock's dirty little secret? Welcome to... The Quarantine Zone!!" The Allurist laughed and nudged her new childe in the ribs. It never occurred to her he might not get the joke.

Kira grinned as the fadebeast screamed, using that power was pretty standard for her. It kept them busy while she went in for a hit, it was on the ground now since one of its legs was already damaged. She moved forward, stabbing the creature a few times in the head. She really wanted to make sure it was dead. She stared intently at it for a moment before moving away.

She rubbed her ribs, making sure she hadn't broken any before moving over to her friend and her childe. "I've never had such an exciting time here. What a strange night." she said. She put her weapons away, "Wonder what other kind of trouble we can get in.." she said, not that they were getting into trouble here but now she was just hyped up.

The Quarantine zone? He chuckled, while his friends were watching the latest reality tv he had the tune down for that show. Humming the opening scene he grinned and nudged her back. After a moment he looked to see the beast on the ground and dead. Impressed he gave a nod to Kira. "Well the night is still young, where too now?" He looked between both of them.

He liked how the night changed quickly and how anything could happen. Standing there he looked out and saw another zombie, looking at Alex he smiled. "Be right back, I see another zombie." Walking out the zombie charged him but was to slow. Looking down he quickly picked up a crow bar and hit the creature in the temple with the sharp edge. Pulling it out the zombie fell and he walked back with a new weapon. Wiping it off he hid it in his outfit.

The Quarantine Zone seemed like a nice vacation spot, a place with none too many people and plenty of things to examine. When Myk had been much wetter behind the ears than he was now – as a Vampire that is – he came here regularly to practice with the movers and the shufflers. Zombies were easy prey; easy to kill and easy to incapacitate, but not so easy to study. Myk didn’t have a clue where they’d come from or why their presence was limited to the QZ, but for all his want to trap and examine, he was simply overcome by the exhausting efforts of it all. Being so easy to kill as they were, one had to be particularly delicate when cutting them apart. As it was, Myk was none too delicate. While he killed Zombies with ease, to this night he still struggled with the Ferals, as people called them. Shove a sack of meat like a Mooncalf in front of him and he could take it down in next to no time at all, but Ferals were quick. Myk thought he was quick too, but he clearly had a lot more to learn about speed and stealth.

As it was, tonight his blade felt too heavy to hack into creatures, so he merely walked the perimeters of the Zone; pewter eyes curious and watchful of the Vampires around him. He liked watching their technique, but most of all Myk just enjoyed people watching. If he didn’t know them – which was very likely – then he would prefer to make up stories about their lives based on the limited information he could glean. Not simply satisfied from watching them, however, Myk’s curiosity and branching abilities led him to delve a little deeper. He had come to learn how to Appraise people. In fact, it was his most favourite thing to do! He could compile this ability into his people-watching fascination all too easily and even break down his new hobby into simple (by his standards) steps:

1. Find a suitable individual
2. Keep an eye on them for at least 5 minutes
2a. If they seem interesting enough move onto step 3
2b. If they are boring, ignore
3. Appraise the individual
3a. Are they still interesting? Move on to step 4
3b. Are they scary or somehow boring? Ignore them
4. Watch them a little longer
4a. Are they particularly fascinating? Stalk them
4b. Are they less fascinating now? Ignore

In this case, Myk’s pewter eyes fell upon a familiar stranger: Alexandrea. He couldn’t place her companions, but the bond between them all was obvious. They were monster killing and it seemed particularly obvious that they were honing their skills, but chiefly the male’s skills. Myk barely gave him any attention however, his gaze locked on the blonde bombshell that was Alexandrea. She’d passed the four steps with ease and had graduated to ‘stalkee’ level. Myk decided to follow them for a couple of minute, albeit keeping his distance as was customary for stalking. He kept them just within sight and made out that he was busy all the while as he followed them because there were many things this strange, strange man could be doing. Why assume he’s following you? Myk chuckled lightly to himself.
