If an Allurist attempts to Inspire someone and the attempt fails because someone else has already inspired them, would the Allurist know the attempt failed RPwise?

That's not really a canon question per se. The game mechanics exist like that for the sake of fairness. At one point, a person could stack as many inspires on someone as they wanted. If I recall correctly, at one point, someone had like 20 inspires on them. As you can imagine, that's not exactly fair, because it creates statistically unbetable, behemoth characters. The mechanic was changed to fix that problem, see
here for the update. Honestly, it would be best if you didn't acknowledge the limitation at all because it's not IC, it's a purely OOC/Game function.
Besides, Inspire can be RPed in many different ways, like an inspirational speech, or an 'aura of leadership' coming from the one who cast the inspiration. If you absolutely
have to acknowledge the inspiration failure, I'd suggest discussing it with the Allurist in question so you know how their character uses Inspire, and then explain why your character wouldn't, for whatever reason, find that inspiring. I. E. Your character doesn't have any faith in theirs for whatever reason.
If it were me though, I just wouldn't acknowledge the limitation.
Vampire Physiology questions

Few questions on vampire physiology:
Can vampires spit? If so do they need to have the same power to produce saliva that an Allurist has to digest food?
Sexual organs, is the blood flow to the genitals under the control of the vampire? IE... could a male vampire become erect at will? Is it the same as humans? IE... occasionally involuntary/caused by stimulation? I'd imagine since vampires have some control over their blood innately that they would be in full control of this but not sure.
Pain: Do vampires feel hot and cold? Do they feel pain the same way humans do? I wouldn't imagine so being that they are dead and that these feelings would be more remnants of their human memories telling them what something ~should~ feel like.
Reproduction/Fadebeasts: Would a Shifter in animal form run the same risks of becoming pregnant/causing a pregnancy? I would imagine they would being that they are still vampires really but curious.

not sure of the fadebeast part...but david has said more than once that the actual shift was more of an illusion than a true shift, hence being able to carry weapons, not needing to be nude unless wishing it, the last time it was brought up his answer was that when first learned, nudity was better as able to hold illusion better, but with time and xp could also transform clothes, weps and small items to take with.

He's also said before that as the vampires are more spirit than body and therefore contraceptives are not effective. So my money is on Yes for getting knocked up/knocking someone up while in meaner things.

Contraceptives not working is contradictory to the explanation given by the dice roll for hardcore path rules that says:
Lucky you, the contraceptive(s) worked. Your union didn't create a fadebeast this time.
So not sure if that changed somewhere along the lines from when he stated that previously to contraceptives working or if the dice roll result needs reworded.
How does the eternal bond work in relation to fadebeast conception? It's my understanding that the ritual would help to block their creation being magical and all..

IMO, the bonding would make the odds greater of conception but ... it's not up to me, lol.
As far as the Dice? When we did the rp with Alex having a fadebeast it didn't exist yet.
So my questions to David about the process predated that update
and, yes, perhaps he changed mind on that detail.
Or perhaps it's just a wording issue that needs to be addressed? idk.

Yes. Vampires aren't really animated corpses, so while several rules that might apply to vampires as corpses
could work, not all of them do. Producing saliva is something all vampires should be able to do, if not subconsciously, then certainly consciously, barring some kind of defect or curse.
I don't see why both scenarios couldn't be valid. I think for this situation, it should be up to the person writing the character.
Pain: Do vampires feel hot and cold? Do they feel pain the same way humans do? I wouldn't imagine so being that they are dead and that these feelings would be more remnants of their human memories telling them what something ~should~ feel like.
In most cases, vampires would be able to feel hot and cold, but it wouldn't have a huge impact on their survival. For example, a vampire wouldn't suddenly freeze solid out in the cold, etc. They can feel pain and temperature changes because those are things that they would subconsciously hold onto as vampires. Pain exists as a warning signal to humans, and it would serve a similar function for vampires.
Reproduction/Fadebeasts: Would a Shifter in animal form run the same risks of becoming pregnant/causing a pregnancy? I would imagine they would being that they are still vampires really but curious.
Yes.

Regarding opening fade windows in the SR.
I noticed today that they don't show the snow/weather feature which I don't think is a bug. But if one was to roleplay looking through a fade window with a fade walker, would they see snow/rain/whatever? Or is the window not really a literal window looking into the 'real' world but just an illusion of the SR?
