But if that's canon, I'll just have everything my characters post on the public boards be anonymous from now on. Does that mean my character being attacked for saying something on Crownet is crossing? O.o
No, I'll have to talk to Natasha to try to remember if we'd made a statement about this already.

This implies that posting on CrowNet or in the CrowNet IC Chat is pseudonymous, under whatever the handle is. How exactly does this work? If one vampire posts, is another vampire able to ascertain what vampire posted it? Or is this mostly a cutesy meme-type thing that doesn't actually have any bearing on canon?
I'm drawing a blank with that. I believe we said that the handle would be shown, rather than the real name of the vampire. But somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
When I first started playing roughly 3 years ago, you told me in PM that our CrowNet accounts were made automatically with the vampire's name because it was the Crow who made the account. At the time I hadn't started role playing yet but was getting ic emails and PMs about grid occurrences which didnt make sense from a logical standpoint that people would auto know how to get in touch with someone.

That's what I remember. Supposedly only humans could have an alias or w/e on Crownet.

Fadewalking question:
When fadewalking using Enter Shadows, what happens to the vampire's physical body? Do they leave the shell behind and enter as spirit, or do they go through as they would be in the living world?
Further, assuming for a moment, they exist in the SR as a physical being rather than a wraith, what are they capable of physically?

Can all posts be made anonymously? And, related to the above, would there be an IC way for someone to track down a person who posts?
Most vampires, you'd assume, would be too clever to leave a trace that leads back to them. It'd be god modding to assuming that some / all / even one vampire didn't take the required precautions to protect their identity while online.
For that matter, what exactly ties a vampire to their crownet account now? Could they give a human their password and be like "Go wild!"?
They could now that Crow isn't protecting Crownet, yes.
Could someone hack into another person's board? Like what's to stop a human from hacking into the Worthington board? I mean not that I would assume they would know enough about vampires to go looking for that, but my main question with that pertains to whether or not the faction/private boards fall under the same principle as the primary crownet.
They could do that in theory, but Crow didn't leave a weak system behind. Crownet is still very, very secure, so hacking into private boards would be extremely hard.
Sidenote: I think it's worth considering a side story where vampires have a chance to claim Crownet forums for themselves, and dictate certain things such as anonymity and adding more security. It's only realistic, really.

I believe this has been answered before. They enter into the shadow realm and their body vanishes, as they are spirits themselves anyway. They still exist in the SR as a wraith, despite having a (kinda) physical body.

That would be beyond awesome.
Thanks for the answers.

How would you suggest RPing out that a human did this? Reading is fairly straightforward, I think. So I'm more curious in a human getting a login and posting.

So...I was told I should direct my question here, as it would be a canon based question...I guess.
It goes back to my question on Temporal Disruption. First, I know that it is RPed that there has been awareness of it occurring, and that I am cool with. It's what happens DURING that I am not so sure on.
Does the character fade to say...the Shadow Realm, and they knows its the SR...or could it be something their own minds sort of...create? Like a fugue state, maybe?
Example...Aliyah experiences this Disruption, and while she may be in to the SR, or cease to exist...is it possible that her mind goes into this fugue state, and so its an awareness of something totally different, like her hometown in the washed out, deserted and broken down way that they SR would appear?
I don't know if I am making sense... >.< But I was told that sort of idea could break canon, so I should check.
If I am making sense...feel free to try and answer the best you can.

I'd guess that she would only *think* she was in those other places and so long as you make it clear that it's just her in her own world in her own mind... it should be okay? But... I'd wait to hear what David says.
I'm wondering what we can say about what relics look like, there isn't any image on grid (yet?) and nothing in the wiki but I suspect that;
as there are plans for us to be able to dress up our grid avatars and that plan includes some wearable relics from what I understand, this will change. So in the meanwhile, can we get written descriptions of some of them that might be being given as gifts in an rp? Like what is a 'Sanguivore`s Bane' for example? Can it be worn like an amulet, is it made of bone, etc.?
