This will happen if you haven't managed your businesses in about 4 days. It resets back to inactive, and has to default to a question which fits all.

Okay, so.

I've never had an issue with my businesses not running really, until today. My other characters had their businesses run, but not Caligrace.

I know that I ran hers yesterday, because I was testing her lack of charisma and speechcraft after a restat to see how well they'd do. They didn't come through today. :/

I think I found the issue. It was only updating the last active time stamp on day change, so if somebody had a couple of days break from managing their businesses, it would get left behind and not trigger in future. The time stamp now updates upon business dilemma choices now. This might mean your businesses don't run again tomorrow, but what I'll do is update three of your business with the current time stamp, and if only 3 of them runs correctly we know that this was indeed the problem.
