Alrighty, that means we're about seven days away from being able to post the auction cards


Auction cards can be posted as of 11:59pm EST, 18 September 2015.

So, that starts next week and people can start posting their auction cards up in Lancaster's for the event at the above date.

I'll be reserving the first auction spot for the special beginning (or end) auction, depending on what gets offered up as far as story goes.

Have a quick squidge of the rules, if you've never done this before (I know they're long, but they're just trying to cover the bases, and any questions about functionality can go in this thread and I'll pop in and answer them as soon as I can.)

I don't understand any of this. I'm not trying to be negative, but I just said this in a thread in DC because someone else is confused about the auctions in general.

All money goes to PP, and 15 percent vanishes? Did I miss what happens to the other 85 percent?

Once the auction has ended and the participant has been announced as being sold by sold Pi dArtois, bidders should immediately transfer...
50% of the winning bid total direct to the participant
50% to Pi dArtois. (Will now go to Poetic Puppy)
Please PM Pi dArtois once BOTH payments have been made.

Of the 50% given to Pi dArtois...
15% will be taken by 'The House' (Which will be deleted from the game by Natasha)
35% will be split between auction related contests; At the moment those contests are: Best Auction Card (Poll), Best Auction Photograph (Poll) and Best Event (Randomly selected roleplay).

Which I think is a pretty happy solution, so ty to Natasha and Pi :)

Yeppers, we think so too. IGC/prizes will still be made available for comps but directly from the admins. Pi and Elliot don't really need the IGC on the grid, and it was mainly the IC mechanic that worked for me.

So it was a happy solution for all.

Actually I am kinda weirded out that 15% will just... vanish? O.o Did I get that right? No way it can go to some kind of something that's for a good cause without some kind of drama attached?

The admins fund the comps with money, relics and other items so saying it disappears just means that it'll go into the ghostly pile of resources they use to fund those things.
