Pfft, that's because he wants to torment her. It can be left up as a choice.
I like having her being able to mind speak while in kitty form lol

I had a query over the Shadow healing some time ago. Couldn't get my head around the concept of how exactly it would look.
Would the reforming arm look like an arm or would it look the a shadow in the 3D shape of an arm?
I personally think it would be an important thing to know considering that the latter could have very serious impacts on the masquerade.

The shadow limb thing I always saw as a process, based on the healing rate, but I've seen others play it as though it happens more 'at once' and less slowly (as in 8-9 days later the shadows start gathering forming this shadow arm that then slowly begins to look more and more like an arm by the end of the x-time (normally and hour, sometimes more)) I don't think I've seen anyone as of yet do it as a process over the days it's gone. It's just gone during that time.
and yeah Ally, I agree, I don't get the whole shifting back with the cloths thing... I would think if the creature is larger it would destroy said cloths if still on, or if the creature is smaller it would simply be a pile of cloths. Those between likely would have to struggle to even get out of said cloths if they shifted in front of them. I am interested in knowing if the cloths thing is more for IC modesty or something else.

This. And I also went with the losing the clothes option cus it's theme for Alex to find her self ending up nekkid in awkward situations...

Healing
A Shadow generally heals at a much slower rate than all other vampires, and this is considered their greatest weakness, as it makes them easier to kill in the long run. Whereas the severed arm of a Killer will grow back in layers of bone, muscle, and flesh, a Shadow's arm will fade back into existence. For a short time, they will find themselves with limbs or wounds that appear spectral and translucent, which gradually turn more opaque as time goes by.

David actually answered this awhile ago. When shifting the clothes meld into the new form and unmeld when reassuming human form. But this also seems like the type of thing he'd be cool with people taking liberties with.

Kira always naked when transforming, having to find her way out of her clothes and refuses to change back until she is in a closed room with clothes lol.
The whole melding thing would be cool, maybe something after really working on it.
