Hart Psychiatric:
Stock: Average
Prices: very cheap
Advertising: Newspaper
(5 Rep, 42 pop, 10 morale on this one)
Aspire:
Stock: Bad
Prices: Insanely Cheap
Advertising: None
The Institute:
Stock: Awful
Prices: Insanely Cheap
Advertising: None
I realized now, that changing it to none for advertising, probably didn't help, lmao. I meant to hit newspaper. I'll tinker with that and see if it goes up any.

You should improve your stock, I think.
If you're struggling with reputation, you want to go with your absolute best stock and absolute rock bottom prices to help it grow.

Yeah, I had her set up similar to that - like I had Caligrace when she first started, who didn't have any issues with business. I'm starting to think business really is just a random luck game sometimes, lol. Or maybe Cali was just super lucky herself.
I switched it around to do that again. I'll post when/if things change. ~

I think at some point in the past, a person could start with average stock/prices and do decently well with rep/pop gain. It was never really supposed to work that way, so we modifiied it (I'm not sure exactly how long ago, but more than a year, maybe two) so that people sort of have to start from the bottom and work their way up.

I actually do think Lana's right in something going wrong with reputation.
I always start out with good stock, low staff wages, cheap prices and local radio. One of Tierney's businesses has a 12 - it was started 9/13/18. I might not run it everyday, but I've not seen it budge in weeks. Her other business was started back in April, same stats, reached it in a matter of months. I've boosted it for now and will keep an eye on it though.

You should try starting with the best stock quality and insanely cheap prices to see your rep move. It may still take a couple of days to budge, but that's what I did with McTesty, and it worked for decently steady growth.
