"That's my Girl!"
Doc whistled as Dom shot Enver several times, putting his cigarette back in his mouth, he gripped the fencing with his fingers, "You got this Kid!"

When was the last time he had been so banged up? Years. And Enver had the scars to prove it. He wondered how many would remain on his body as a reminder of tonight's shitfest. And Crash would never hear the end of it. Sure, ladies liked scars and rugged men, but a couple scars with a good story behind it. Not, 'I was part of some stupid fight club ring to try and win a million bucks and all I got were these lousy scars!' That sounded like a t-shirt of some description.
As he moved to where he saw a gun-hopefully not one he had already used, he felt the sting of more bullets enter his side and Enver turned in time to see her 'daddy' goading her on. Enver grabbed the gun frantically, and fired off a few shots in Lady Girl's direction, but again! He missed! Lady Girl was a worthy foe, but he wouldn't tell her as much. Maybe in his next novel in a few years, under some other alias. Perky, for the set she didn't mind showing off to the world.

Her sire gave her the inspiration to follow through with her current plan. Giving up was not an option. Especially now. Finding her clip empty HOPE pulled it. Her head turned briefly as the sound of a trigger being pulled caught her attention. He found ammo. She shook her gun as the bullets pinged around her. An hiss of profanity sounded behind her then a drop of heavy flesh hitting the cement.
"That ******!" Dominique could only bob her head in agreement as the permanent honeycomb heart at the center of her throat seeped black beads into the air. The fencing behind her shook wildly. "Let me at him!" Sounds of a near riot building behind her left her hopeful for the sounds of support falling into the ring beside her. Support that was fully loaded and improving her chances of setting things back in her favor. Finally the heavy thud of steel hit the floor and she was lightning quick grabbing it and putting it to use as soon as Old Man made his fateful step.

Everything felt like it was weighing against him. The fact she was such a damn good shot, his arms and legs, hell, even his head felt heavy and Enver felt a little distorted. The sound of the crowd was infectious in both a good and bad way, and Enver, being Enver, decided if he was going to go out as the loser [which, seemed like any minute now], he was going to go out in a blaze of glory. Or, flat out fuckery, but at least people would be talking about the way he kamakazied instead of how badly he got his *** beat by a fifteen year old!
He pushed himself to start hobbling, and then running towards her. He lifted his gun and took aim, only to be shot at, which made Enver turn away towards her. Better the side or back, then the heart or head, in his mind. As he turned, bullets hit him in the upper back, and he kept on spinning until Enver was full circle and back where he started. Facing Lady Girl.
He let off a few bullets from his new gun and saw them heading her direction. She wouldn't know what hit her, but he knew he didn't miss.
You take a couple of shots at Dominique, and one of them rips through their throat!

Just like that a bullet caught her in the throat inches to the right of the first wound. Both permanently inked bees were oozing black. She dropped and huddled down into what she believed to be the most cover to be found in an open ring of the arena. This gave her enough time to be realistic. She had perhaps two or three more wounds tops before she was in the red zone. The weakness was impossible to ignore but a hell of a lot harder for the cursed former paladin to accept. The fighter in her said go hard or...well go to hell. She been there and booted out more times than she could count so go hard was going to have to be it. She knew it was fact but that didn’t stop her body from fighting. Against the very wafer thin, wet paper sack possibility she still believed she would likely come out bloodless, blind and walking Swiss cheese proof that bitches in uniform can clean up and dismiss the retired actors as well as the produce and fruit throwers. Plushie tossers could stay. She was going to need all the cushion for her tenderized *** she could get her hands on when this was over.
The raise of HOPE and LESS joining in for extra support had the barrel of the gun aiming for him a little shy of where it needed to be. A single step out from where she had been hiding and the pull of her trigger sealed the fate of the bullets disappearing into the crowd behind him instead. So much for that. She sank back where she had been and prepared for her final moves. There was something to be said for a blaze of semi-glory.

Finally! Luck was back on his side as Enver heard bullets whiz past him, but didn't connect anywhere on his body. He tilted his gun to the ground, where Lady Girl was crouched down at...was she ready to quit yet? He sure hoped so! Truth was, Enver didn't know how much more fight was left in him, and while he could pull a few more tricks out of his sleeve, he felt it best to save what he could and restore some blood in his system.
He took aim, but with his focus split between staying alive and doing a little healing, versus shooting her and getting her to admit defeat so he could go the **** home, heal and tear into Crash at some point too. It should have been easy to shoot her in the head, but Lady Girl had a little bit of fight still in her, or luck, or something, because at best, he shot her in the side of her leg, causing nothing more than a flesh wound.
You fire wildly at Dominique, but your aim is poor. You do, however, hit them once in the leg, tripping them up.

Lack of what likely was her last pint of blood pretty much meant either Old Man turned to ash or tossed up the proverbial white flag and called it. Something about the fight he put up said the latter wasn’t going to happen. Not when he held out as long as he had. Just as she was preparing to train her shaking hands to hold the weapon and fire her leg buckled with the bullet that entered with such force that it took out the cold muscle and nearby bone sending the particles in a spray behind her. The ******** needed to die already, fade or whatever the hell his kind did. She didn’t have the fucks left to care. Bouncing back up with far less dexterity or speed than she entered with she took aim, focusing as much as possible on her mark and fired. What was left of the inside of Enver Marshall ll became all that more pungent to the sensitive shadow. That meant he had one more reason going with him to remind him to think twice about underestimating anyone in school uniform.

He was sure he was going to die. He didn't sign up to die, but he was shot...what? Ten or Twelve times? Never mind the broken leg, broken ribs and never mind a headache from being dropped on his head, the size of Canada! At least it'd be done then. He'd be done, she would go back to her 'daddy,' and put some damn clothes back on. Enver shuddered as he made eye contact with the old guy at the fence that had been cheering her on. And trying to piss him off. He had once or twice, but Enver realized he had to focus and take this **** seriously, because Lady Girl was a force to be reckoned with. If he lost, well, he'd have to warn the next guy or girl that was up to face her.
Enver decided to do what he did best...avoidance. He lifted up his healing leg, yanked the shoe off and then tossed it to the right of Lady Girl. When she moved to listen to the sound of what hit the fence, he took a deep breath in and fired off a few shots and waited to see. He wasn't a religious man, or the praying sort, but deep down, Enver prayed that this would be over with soon, cause God Damn, he'd be happy to get out of here.
Dominique has been defeated!
The battle is over. Enver Marshall II's team are the victors!
You creep up on your target and take aim. You fire, catching Dominique directly in the heart and knocking them to the floor!
You have seriously crippled Dominique, and they will be no threat to you for quite some time.

The unmistakable final dose of pain sent into her body confirmed it was over. They say it isn't about winning or losing but how you played the game. This certainly was true for the former paladin turned shadow that had the last of what she had to fight with seeping out into the air around her. The crowd cheered. She knew the count was up and she had been had. Pride before the fall wasn’t exactly beneficial but it was her to the core and she was taking that **** with her. A challenge was made and she accepted it.
Now if someone would have only impressed it upon the asshole that grabbed hold of what was remaining of her skirt and upper garments. Like a broken doll she was plucked from the floor. Using the material for the leverage needed he moved in a fast pace and hip checked the door and swung the petite female nearly behind him then sent her forward. The tossed shadow rolled and bounced out into the back alley darkness.
“Better luck next time.” That was the only verbal offering left with her as the brute quickly turned on heel, entering the arena and slamming the door to lock behind him.
A bent but hardly broken HOPE raised a single finger in parting. With the feet she was fortunate to have left she balanced herself questionably and managed to stop the cab about to pass her by. Sinking into the seat she was relieved to find immortal eyes glowing beneath the cap that turned with the drivers head to look back at her. He had a busy night ahead and figured he recognized her from the Honeymead side of town. He started the cab into a fast roll and headed for the market area. From there she would disappear into the outskirts of town and hunker down in the one place that had reliable refuge. It would keep her safe until she was like new.

Doc winced, "****." He muttered to himself. "Great fight Kid! You kept him on his toes!"
She was going to be angry when that head wound wore of..
