Nah, even with whatever tabloids and the government keeps spilling, you all still sound as if you're a bolt short. How do you know the winery isn't owned by a serial killer? Ever heard of Jeffery Dahmer? Richard Chase? They aren't the first ones who actually drank their victims blood. Andrei Chikatilo, the Rostov Ripper cannibalized his victims for fun.

This is laughable, if vampires were that much of a problem the city would be full of nothing but blood dolls by now. Sounds like you're just mad that they can do things that you can't. Since several vampires owned businesses help the community I think it's kinda hard to sell that vampires don't care about humans at all because no one wants your food source to die off. If vampires were that much of a problem they've already taken over this small city every human would be enslaved. But the reality is that vampires here are coexisting with people quite well until their threatened just like any other society once you start to push and they push back. Humans have had a fascination with vampires since the beginning of time every single civilization has a rumor and story that exist about them and their mythology as well in their history. and if that is true that vampires had existed most likely for longer than recorded history. And if they were that bad they would've taken it over the world by now and humans would be nothing more than their slave so it, goes to reason that maybe vampires as a whole in a society pretty much like to keep themselves do what they got to do like everybody else. You have a few bad apples and I'm sure on a regular basis they like to deal with their own.
