The lights going out didn’t startle Meara, but the gunshot noise did. She squeaked in surprise at the noise she should be used to by now. Her fingers held onto the bartop as she waited for it to stop. When the lights came back on, the woman in white had been removed, and the redhead in black was lying dead on the floor from the gunshot wound. The woman’s nose wrinkled as their roles had been revealed. Meara frowned rather dejectedly as not only was their guess wrong, the detective got killed too. So they were now down two good guys.
“Well ****.” She mumbled as she looked around at the others around her. There was the blonde next to her, and the two men across the room, and herself remaining. There was supposedly someone else missing, but she didn’t think it could be them because of their lack of participation in the other phases. But now come to think of it the woman that got removed’s husband had been actively trying to cast doubt on her on top of her antics. So perhaps he was trying to create a diversion. The other man seemed to be trying to protect the now deceased detective, and look at where that got her. The only person she couldn’t read too well is the woman next to her.
So Meara turned to her and offered a smile. “Well, now what? Should we join the fellows over there and see what they think of our predicament?” She picked up her wine glass and started to walk that direction.

The lights went out and there was scrambling close to him. Close to him? No! Beside him. When the lights went back up, Amalea was on the floor, shot between the eyes. “****!” He knelt down to view the ‘body’, but actually he was trying to see if everyone were where they were when the lights went out.
Doc’s gaze went straight to Mr. Faber, and then his hands. He was looking for the gun, or the tell tale signs of him quickly stashing a gun.. Or in this case paint brush.
Standing up slowly, and staying silent, he put some distance between himself and the three present people. Doc made sure his back was protected by a corner wall, so that the ever absent Ripper could not sneak up behind him.
Doc then looked more pointedly about for Ripper, who was still gone. Had it been Ripper all along after all?
Mr. Faber, could it be him?
Or could it be the two females? Neither of them known by him.
He narrowed his eyes as they seemed to want to stay together, while he wanted distance. Why was that?

Interesting. My 'wife' was innocent. Then what the heck did she mean by what she said earlier? Did she know who the killer, or killers were? I pull out my phone to send the 'wife' an email, but as I'm typing her a quick taunt, the lights go out. I had barely begun to type anything out before there was chaos in the room. There's a 'pop' in the room and a little more noise before the lights are back on. I look at where everyone is, or where they should be and the woman closest to me and the Doctor is dead. Shot in the head. Looks like a professional sort of job.
I see the doctor looking at me and then my hands, and I hold up my cellphone. Then I give him a steely glare that states, quite plainly, 'do I look like I could do that?' I scowl in his direction, before pocketing my cellphone and then look at the other two women that remain. Were one of them the killer? Was that why the detective went that way? ****. What did she know?

Yvette looked at the redhead beside her, nodding, as she looked suspiciously at the group. She hadn't really reacted this time when the lights went out, just staying still so as to pose less of a target, not that it would matter in a game like this. So both the women had been trying to find out the truth in order to catch the killer. Pity that, as now they were both gone and it left the innocents in a dire predicament. She hadn't yet voted for anyone, and she felt rather bad about it, abstaining both 'nights' but she couldn't help but wonder what she was missing. Something was off.
She was looking at the three people that were more vocal and frowned, her mind rolling over the thought in her mind until she voiced it aloud. "What if it were one that we'd least expect?" she mumbled to the woman beside her. Still, all the same, she followed the redhead quietly, lifting up the edge of her gown in one hand. As they approached, she looked at the 'husband' who had just put away his cellphone, then at the man whose back was against the wall. She watched him curiously, feeling suspicious.
Why back away at all? Signs of a guilty conscience, perhaps? It did seem that any that had talked to either of the two men were now among the deceased. So the possibility was there. More questions than answers at this point.
"Sir," she said to the husband of the newly deceased. "I am sorry for your wife's unfair arrest. Your wife was a vibrant person, from our conversation was a rather brilliant mind as well." Her mind was still turning. Supposedly, they were all connected to the prince, and Yvette had seen herself how the two men were involved with the last victims- for being accused of guilt as an innocent made the woman in white a victim as well- so perhaps if she could find a connection to the other two, she could make the discovery.

"What if it were one that we'd least expect?"
Meara rolled that question around in her head, thinking quietly to herself. if there was one to be least suspected to her eyes it would be the woman who posed the question to her. Meara noticed that the blonde was projecting herself in a very demure kind of way. Almost in a manner of not getting noticed so she wouldnt be suspected. Perhaps that was why she posed the question. Curiouser and curiouser.
In Meara's opinion, she had equal circumstantial evidence to accuse any of the other three that remained in plain sight in the room. So for now she would just wait and see how the husband of the white woman would react to the other blonde's question.

Yvette glanced at the redhead beside her, and shrugged as the husband of the woman in white took some time to answer. Her eyes flitted over to the man now resting in the corner, and she tried to make sense of it all. Why exactly were they all trying to scatter? What would be the purpose of this? Three gone, four left. And she vaguely remembered another man, but did not seem him now. Perhaps he left?
She couldn't manage to keep eyes on all of them, and it began to make her feel uncomfortable. It was too quiet, even for her. So she looked down at the floor. If they could not come to some consensus now...
Perhaps it is already too late.

Doc watched everyone. He didn't know any of them. The one he did know.. was no where to be seen.
He had no desire to play nice, and then be stabbed in the back, because of it. Someone killed Amalea. It brought up .. some really bad emotions.

Her eyes kept going to the man in the corner, as she replayed everything that had gone on that night. He seemed close to the detective, and it seemed like he had familiarity to everyone that had been removed. She didn't know about the first night's victim, as the woman had disappeared, then only reemerged once 'deceased'. But both the men could say that. She looked back and forth between the two men, before she decided, sighing.
If she had gotten it wrong, well.. it'd be too bad and far too late.

Meara wrinkled her nose. It seemed everyone had clammed up, they were too afraid to speak for fear of incriminating themselves. Admittedly, she had a feeling one of the men was for sure in cahoots with the enemy. Her mind kept wandering back to he inconsistent behavior of the husband to the woman in white. Logically, he seemed to encourage his other half to be voted off the island. Perhaps it was so he didn't have to order her killed. Or perhaps he knew she was on to him, like all good wives were. Either way, Meara didn't have a better suspect at this juncture. All things seemed to point to him.
Her blue eyes shifted to give him an appraising glance, as if she was admiring the mans nice suit as well as how it contoured his frame. Meara, however, was looking for signs of recent struggle or handling a weapon.

I look at the blonde haired woman, then narrow my eyes. Each one of these women were by my 'wife' for a good portion of her time here. "Arrest?" I ask, not sure what she means by that. "She was arrested?" I should be happy and I normally would be, but my 'wife' was innocent, even if she tried to pretend she wasn't. I want Romeo to suffer, but not at the hands of others. She was mine. "Where would they take her?" I glance around, trying to see which door she went out. What kind of game was this?
I look at all three of them, thinking back to what was said earlier in the night. Something about people being around, then disappearing. The 'doctor' was the first to been seen and then disappear before she died. Then, some mysterious man I might have seen, but can't be certain. "Look. All I know is my wife told me before she was...whatever, was that I needed to stick close to her, if I wanted to get out alive. Then, she went to where you and you were at. What did she say? Anything might give us a clue."
