So long as we all are working towards the same goal, I think it's fine but I have only had 3 cups of tea so far this morning so don't quote me. :|

Why I have asked is, I have been in other rp things where if you post before all others have, you have broken the chain, yada yada, bad you, delete your post, and I have no desire to cause a glitch into this rp. Want this to run smoothly.

I don't know anything about a posting order. I think you can post as you like.

Macaria -- want to do our meeting via YIM? I tried to come up with a solo bit, but it doesn't make sense. It seems like there would be a conversation before we went in.

i will be doing an aerial recon of the area while you are doing your meet up, if you are above ground, i can make it so my post ends up with me seeing digo and joining you, if you are doing sewer recon, I will upload my info telepathically to digo and zo as they are my 2 contact points so far.

eta, if you want to meet up, i will wait a few days to post to let you get on scene before i shift and fly. otherwise let me know here and i will post and pass info

As I read it, Macaria was waiting on a bench. Since you dibsed "fly over", Digo will probably arrive by more conventional means. I'll come up with something creative and hopefully we'll work out a dialogue tomorrow evening that can end with one of us noticing something flying overhead or something.

Maybe Mordie and Digo can have a telepathic conversation... it would be good to have eyes above while people go underground.

So, my thoughts thus far:
It seems like we have all of the participants that we're going to have. If someone starts now, they're going to have to post more than once a week for the next three weeks.
David said that threads with obstacles and challenges will be more readily accepted than threads that are a straight line to the reporter, so I'm thinking the Mausoleum should turn out to be a (mostly) dead end. Interrogate a soldier, find out only that they suspect a leak... but only the bosses know who or what leaked.
Then we come across information regarding the scientist. "How" would be up in the air. If we need something easy that is already set in motion, we could use Wendigo's money-probing: he comes back to his desk to find an individual has purchased a large quantity of stocks from one of his dummy companies. Someone who obviously has no idea how to wield money (i.e., "new" money), and someone with a Ph.D.
Alternatively, maybe someone who has been less active or less direct in the thread wants to manage this discovery. I'm not a huge fan of using Digo's businesses as an explanation, because I have no business sense at all, and I don't think it will sound 100% realistic.
In either case, we probably suspect that the scientist is the leak. A small group tracks him/her down to X location and interrogates the crap out of them. Finds out they already sold information on vampires to the reporter. We had figured that the information might have been on the government projects, and might still be in the scientist's possession, so here we have a collective "holy ****, this is so much worse than we thought" moment. The scientist probably doesn't know where the reporter is, so we're back to square one.
How we find the reporter? Damned if I know. Ideas?
