With most of the threat dispatched due to the variety of methods by all those in the group, the chaos was starting to dwindle. With one of the many in the hands of one of the Dragomir males, and a female with Mordie, Pru figured someone would get something out of one of them. If not the whole story. How they knew that they were a group of vampires. She hadn't given them any tall tale signs, had she? Had Lori? She knew Mordie and Kennedy couldn't have and Prudence doubted any of the Dragomir would have given themselves away either. And who were they? Part of the Order? A group of vigilantes?

Lori let her know the cops were on the way, not that that was unexpected. Prudence strapped the gun around her-not wanting to leave a gun she used with her prints on it at a crime scene. She preferred staying out of human affairs by all means possible-positive and negative. "Mordie, Kennedy. We need to bounce. Like, right now."

The redhead grabbed a piece of what seemed to be scrap paper from her pocket, then shot a glance over to Nikolae. "Get your people out of here. We're about to have company. The law abiding kind." Before he could reply, the tall Killer gave him a salute and vanished, using a tome to take her back to an apartment in the city. When she got there, Prudence didn't waste any time going to find her mini to make sure she was alright and then find out how she was so sure the cops were on their way, before Prudence even heard any sirens.

From his place perched behind a table, using the wooden surface as cover, he was able to take out a couple of the assailants, but he was by and far, one of the least useful in the fight. Still. His aim was good enough that at least he wasn't putting bullets into his own people, and that was the important part. The battle raged on around them for several minutes and the enemies were hewn down with the accuracy and effectiveness that might have been expected from a team of well-trained individuals. Really, between Prudence, Mordechai, and Nikolae - those three probably could have ended the whole thing themselves. He was not too proud to appreciate that about them.

He heard the mental voice in his head and could only nod in the man's direction. He didn't have the concentration to send back a response, which was likely another sign that Az's sire was more suited to battle than Raeth himself was. Just moments later, Lorelai ran towards Prudence, and the Mystic found himself moving to stand from behind the table. It seemed as if the majority of the humans who had attacked were either dead or broken on the floor. He was about to approach Pru to see if she was alright, when she spoke. Right. The gunfire and the quake would have attracted the police.

Raeth wasted no time in reaching a hand towards Nikolae and the human he had cornered. The other reached in Andrew's direction. He trusted that Mordechai would take care of Kennedy. One second the three Dragomir were there, and the next they were gone. They appeared immediately across the city at the entrance of the Temple, though for what Raeth had planned, he could not drag the captured human inside; it had just been the first place that had come to mind when he had focused on going somewhere safe, away from the dangers of being spotted by the police or violating vampiric secrecy.

"Everyone alright?" He asked the two other men, reptilian eyes moving between them for a moment before he reached for the human. "I will work with him if you don't mind, Sire." His apartment had been modified shortly after he'd moved in. The walls were sound proofed and all of the materials had been picked because they didn't soak up blood residue. The changes had been intentionally subtle, but he could handle turning it into an interrogation chamber if need be.
. . .

It was only several hours later that an e-mail was sent to each of the night's participants, save for Lorelai and Andrew, the former because Az wasn't sure how new to the vampiric life she was, but she had not seemed to do well with the violence. The last thing he wanted was to make her feel like she needed to do something about it. The latter because he intended to tell his childe in person.

It seems our friends were sent by a third party. Before he had to go, the one that the eldest dragon snagged for me, he told me who was responsible. Consider this issue a top priority, because they have files pertaining to us. Files that will need to be erased. We need to meet soon.

He deliberately didn't go into too much detail. He intended to tell them more when they were all face to face.

Slowly the killers body began to shrink back to its normal seven foot sizes, fangs and claws withdrawing inside of him as the quiet of the dead encased the bar room. The slight moans of the broken female hunter in the chair before him the only ambient noise, as first Pru then Azraeth gave warning and disappeared. Scooping the the wee pup from the floor he passed it to kennedy, giving her a quick kiss as he bent over her. "I can hear sirens, take her and go. I will be ok, and home soon. Just going to take our friend back to her home."

A scan of the room showed that all the apparent damage could easily have been done by a battle between gangs, nothing overtly pointed towards the supernatural. Lifting the woman in his arms he took her outside and positioned her on the bike in front of him. Propped up like a drunken date, Mordechai wheeled out of the back parking lot headed east towards River Rock. Reaching his shop in the market place, Mordechai parked the Judge then scooping the woman into his arms drew the shadow to him heading towards the factory by the river. Slipping thru the lot he approached the river and started to run towards it. Reaching the bank he leaped, putting everything he had into it, landing with a grunt on the other side. The jarring landing brought a short sharp screech from the broken woman in his arm. Pausing he listened for a response. The woods were quiet around him as he made his way to the cathedral in the wilderness. Quietly he knelt in front of the doors laying the broken woman on the ground, arranging the body into a cross. "Remember your message" he whispered as he stepped from her and leapt into the air transforming into a majestic harpy eagle, and winging away into the night.

Everything was finally coming to a stop and she was able to relax for just a mere second. Looking around at everyone and the mound of bodies by the door. Clearly the hunters under estimated their target even though they had sent a great deal of hunters, it wasn't enough to incapacitate the five older vampires, maybe the two younger ones if the family wasn't with them. It was pure and utter chaos.

As she was about to answer Mordechai's question to whether or not she was hurt when Pru chimed in. Removing the duster to give it back to Mordechai, exposing the shot to her shattered knee. Nodding her head as she took the puppy. "I'll see you at home. Be careful." Using her powers of speed to move across the city was going to hurt like hell with her knee but it was either that or get caught by the cops. Having to deal with the cops would be a disaster especially since she was a vampire. Granted she could play the part of a human but given the chaos of the bar and that she was left standing with only the shot to her knee. A low grunt slipped from her as she quickly hugged Mordechai and let her powers slip through her, carrying her across the city to Veil Towers.

Entering the apartment, she put down a few puppy pads until she healed or got a set of crutches until she was healed. Crutches would be better as she didn't want to train the puppy to go in the house. Letting Princess run free, she changed into a pair of sweats and an over-sized T-shirt before sitting down at the crafting table. A few hours had gone by when the ding from the computer alerted her to a new email. Scooting over to the computer, she checked the message. A third party? A sigh slipped from her as she realized that they were in a lot more trouble than she had thought. Sending a message off to Sean, hoping that she didn't interrupt him having a bit of fun with one of his male companions.

Hey Sean....something major has come up and the family needs to lay low for a while. Please cover me at Mortll's shop for awhile.

After she sent him the text, she started to toss toys across the apartment for the puppy wondering if they should hide out at the Sparrow house since it was larger and easier to set up the traps for protection. Kennedy knew that her and Mordie would have to put up baby gates to keep the puppy safe from the traps but it was an idea worth talking about. Maybe invite Pru, Lorelai, Nikolae, Azraeth, and Andrew. They could stay safe while continuing their 'get to know each other' meeting while planning an attack or being safe as they deal with the hunter situation. She just needed Mordie to come home first to see what his thoughts where.

The body deposited, message sent, Mordechai winged his way across the sky, dropping to the rood of Veil, and entering the access door to the stairwell. He was in his apartment moments later, kneeling before his beloved kennedy as he examined her wound. The text he had received had little in the way of information, other than what they had just settled, was not the end. Rising he closed his eyes, and using the very essence of his blood, he drew spirit s to him. Kennedy would be able to use the spirits to heal, and if more **** was coming down the pipe, she would need healed fast. He had yet to say a word, just silently taking care of his first priority, his kennedy.

He touched her mind quietly, no words spoken, just the feeling of love he felt for her, then headed into the bedroom and the beautiful guncase she had bought him. He would be prepared the next time. Again reaching out with his mind he traveled the city finally locating Azraeth. "When you have details, inform me"
