Another game entirely, but I quite like what I made:
(Bearing in mind the bottom background blends into the other forum's background, but yeah >.>)

Haha, I was going to say the bottom background was a bit off. Do you use photoshop? When I use photoshop, I create an image with two layers. I make the bottom later the same color as the forum, and play with text over top. As soon as I'm happy with it, I delete the bottom layer, so that the text is sitting on top of transparency. And then it would blend no matter what colour the skin is of the forum.

I'm not sure of the text. I think it's too dark/should blend more.

I think the whole thing looks good. I'm not sure if changing the text could improve it

It does look like a double n as opposed to a double s.

But it's really pretty all the same!
