Fadebeasts are not entirely spiritual; they are part physical, and do need a womb to gestate inside. They also require the DNA of the father, and the biological impregnation and gestation of the creatures is described in the wiki as "not entirely physical," indicating that they are partly physical beings. As the exact reason as to why a fadebeast is created instead of a baby, I can't go into it too much without making a roleplay unknown into an OOC known, which spoils the fun a little bit.
The wiki, however, doesn't talk about contraceptives. So basically, it's unknown as to why fadebeast fertilization ignores things like condoms. Essentially, the decision for it to be like this was made to make roleplay simply more interesting, because you can't avoid it! lol

Maybe they carry a handbag? >.>
But let's say they keep it in their sword hilt, instead.
Not all of them are naked; just the really really insanely devout ones who believe that believe that being naked and baring their tattoo runes will enhance their power.

Paladin Power from the Wiki wrote:- Incitement

If this is cast on a PC, yes the intelligence drops per the powers description but how would it be RP'd? Some think that it will just be the drop in intel and others think that it would be the drop in intel along with an uncontrollable rage until the power wore off. I find the uncontrollable rage to be interesting but want to make sure that this would be the proper way for the power to be RP'd when the power lands successfully upon it's designated target.

When you cast the power......
You incite Zelda with your paladin power, causing them to enter an uncontrollable rage.

lol I was just checking hun. I don't have a pally and Drea was just going off the description. So we got into a debate about it and I checked the wiki but the human powers (RP) pages aren't filled in so thought to post here just to make sure because Drea hadn't cast it before to know what it said on the attackers side.

Yeh, when I'd told you about it last night - I thought I was going insane. I could have sworn I saw it somewhere - but it was nowhere on the wiki - yes, I looked! Shocker! - or the forum. I honestly thought I'd made it up.
Then I remembered and was all AH HA! I'm not 'that' insane!!

Yes, it would incite rage or a similar emotion, as the power description suggests. They lose their head, so to speak. However, it would only cause them to feel rage towards you, the caster.

I apologize in advance if this has been covered before.
How long would a body modification such as a tattoo/piercing "last" for a vampire who does not have psychosomatic dysepulosm? Also, does the healing stat affect the longevity at all? For example, would someone who has 20 healing see their modification vanish (or whatever happens) faster than someone with 10?
Thanks!

How closely would the symptoms of vampire pregnancy mirror human pregnancy?
At which point during the ~1 month gestation period does the little bundle of joy start attempting to eat/claw at mommy?
When it escapes the womb, does it magically expand into a full grown monster or is it just a rabid midget cloud of darkness?

I asked those questions when it happened to Alex, David pretty much said it was up to the writer to figure out those details.

What physical reactions would she experiences that would be different from human ones? I understand they grow at a faster rate.
And what sort of damage are we talking about that she would suffer when it was born (talking stat wise here, I get the whole ripped to heck idea) and can that be done on grid to reflect what happened? If I was to have her 'die' from the event, would have have to find another way to send her to the sr? Even if I had someone summon a fadebeast npc, that isn't going to kill her and would rather her 'death wound' was accurate.
That's all something I'll leave up to individual roleplayers to decide. As I've said, they gestate within a couple of months, and they rip a gaping hole right through their mothers. They also often kill their mother, which could explain the death thing if you wanna play that.
As for her death wound being accurate, you'll just have to use your imaginations I guess? The grid is just a reflection of the roleplay, not the other way around.
