He meets his sire's eyes at the end question. Questions were so fickle with always another brewing. A question for his sire? His sire was allowing him to question him. A smirk crosses his lips, playfully. "Well, is it still possible for me to find true love? With a human or vampire? Are there hybrids?" The questions rolling off his tongue. He wasn't that curious, but it'd just be practical to know. His sire was beautiful which made him wonder if he was just as 'shiny' as well? Usually dead things were, well, dead-looking. "And, is there anything besides cops that can break our family...?" He wasn't really an optimist even as a human, he always looked at the dark side of things. It always seemed more realistic to him. It felt that every good thing had a time-limit.

The Old Town Graveyard was, as its name suggested, old. Of course, there were a number of headstones, but an inordinate amount of the graveyard was dedicated to crypts and tombs. Gray, of course, didn't really know the history of it. His own family owned a plot of land in New York where everyone born into the Wyatt bloodline was buried. He had to think then, that a number of the bone houses had been designed for families who had lived and died in Harper Rock.

He knew a number of them had been cleared out to be used by vampires.

"Love is a powerful thing." He said, and Grayson firmly believed this, his gaze narrowing on the road as he began to search for a place to park near his home. "If anything can overcome the chains of death, I have to think that's love. I think you should let your heart guide you and decide these things for you. Though I wouldn't try to go making babies with either vampires or humans. As I understand it, the results aren't that great." He didn't elaborate, in part because he really didn't know. He'd read some things on CrowNet which suggested it was a bad idea though.

And then finally he parked and released a sigh. The tension of having been in the city, in the midst of an attack was already beginning to melt away. "There are all sorts of dangerous things out there. Zombies. Other vampires. Paladins. Hunters. Soldiers. Cops. A lot of animals probably won't like you either." He tacked on. "You are strong though. Stronger than you ever have been - you just have to be cautious, be smart, and stick with your family. We will make sure you're okay." And with that, he slipped out of the car, stretching to hear the pop of bone.

He nods at that. He agreed that love was powerful. He steps out of the car and looks around at the graveyard. His eyes narrow slightly. Well at least he wouldn't be blinded by bright colors. He walks around the front of the car to stand by Grayson. "So we live in a grave? One for each of us I see." He begins to wonder how his sire was turned, but worried that the questioning phase was over. He decides to take that chance. "Was it painful when you turned?" For some reason to think of his sire in writhing pain didn't settle with him. He shifts the weight onto his other foot and shrugs his hands into his jean pockets, his shoulders tensing. Of course he would have to get personal. Nothing was simple.

It seemed that as soon as he was out of the car, Kinder was at his side, and Gray couldn't help but offer the other man a smile at his comment about sleeping in graves. "And have to crawl through the dirt every night? Not at all. Can you imagine that? It would take hours every evening just to be presentable, because you'd need to clean off the dirt and worms." He commented even as he reached to grasp his newly turned childe by the wrist, giving him a little tug in the direction of the crypts. There were a large number of them, with doorways leading into subterranean compartments. The crypts themselves weren't huge, but they were certainly big enough to store some of the comforts of life.

"Crypt 54. Adley calls it Studio 54, and it's absolutely perfect. You're going to love it. There's this enormous bed like two king-size ones together. The fambam likes to get comfy and cuddle a lot. Everything is about comfort, like we even have an enormous lovesac, and kitchen for those few of us who can eat. Wait until you see what Adley calls a bath. It's absolutely bonkers and I love it." His voice was a purr as he pulled the other man towards the building in question, only to let himself inside, dragging Kinder along for the ride.

He wasn't scared or surprised when his sire grabbed his wrist. They weren't running just sort of speed-walking. So they wouldn't rest in graves, what a relief. His sire didn't answer his question yet, and he wouldn't push for an answer. As they walk in the crypt he was surprised at the space. It was an actual decent sized. A Goldie-locks size. It would be decent living for once. Strangely the 'cuddling' Grayson mentioned sounded interesting. "I can't wait to meet everyone." With his sire holding his wrist it wasn't as friendly as if he were holding his hand, but it was efficient. It got him where Grayson wanted him to go. He couldn't help but glance over at the other male every now and then just to make sure he was okay. He was waiting for any signs of pain, but only because he wasn't an optimist did he think this way. Either way it was hard to tear his eyes away and focus on anything else.

Just past the entrance into the crypt, and Grayson released Kinder's wrist so that he could slip towards the small kitchen. It was still relatively early in the evening, and he knew he was going to need some coffee. Thankfully, he always set up a new filter and grounds after using the coffee maker, because he never let the beans themselves go unused for long enough to stale. He just had to turn the thing on and then haul himself up onto the counter, seated beside the sink, his back bowed a little bit. His legs were left to dangle, where his legs bent at the knee, his head touching the front of the cabinets above the back splash.

Kinder had asked him a question earlier, and Gray honestly hadn't been sure how to answer it at first, so he'd left it to simmer in his mind for a few moments. "It shouldn't be too long. Make yourself comfortable or...wait. You might want to change first. Feel free to go through my clothes and see if you can find something that fits. I'll take you shopping tomorrow evening." He called out. "I'll be there in just a minute."

True to his word, it didn't take very long for the coffee to percolate and drip into the large basin. He inhaled, and the rich scent sent a little shiver up his spine. Soon he was pouring a steaming mug for himself, and evacuating the kitchen area to find Kinder once more. "As for pain, that depends on what you mean." He said, bringing back up the old topic. "If you're asking if being a vampire hurts - no. Not really. Before I was turned, I was in pain though, but I'd just been shot, so that was to be expected. Want a sip?" He asked, holding his mug up.

"No. You said that I wouldn't be able to handle food." He looks away from his sire for a moment, crossing his arms over his chest, calmly. "Were you terribly dramatic when you turned?" He walks over to where the clothes are pulling out a fresh pair of jeans and another black shirt. He looks around. "Am I supposed to dress in front of you?" Shrugs his shirt off and whips the new one on in a simple movement. Picks up the jeans, looking first at the size. Making sure it would fit him. It would. He brushes his thumb along the jeans glancing back over his shoulder at his sire. He wouldn't mind changing in front of the other because he didn't really want Grayson to leave him, but...

Grayson basically lived on coffee. Well okay, that wasn't true. He lived on blood, but he believed he lived on coffee and he loved the flavor, the scent, everything about it. So when his newly turned progeny refused the offer for a sip, he was content with the choice. More for him. "Oh, I'm terribly dramatic all of the time." he admitted, which was not really an exaggeration at all. Grayson had this habit of throwing himself into a mood or a situation or a moment. He wanted to live through his experiences as authentically as possible, and that meant he didn't do a lot of mental preparation or planning. He just acted. There were probably some flaws with this manner of living, but he wasn't too fussed with those. He'd taken a number of gambles in his life, and so far things seemed to have turned out pretty damn well. Well. He was dead. But he was more like a god than a corpse, so he was okay with that.

The Allurist slipped into the main living area, flopping onto a piece of furniture even as he heard the other man asking him about if he should get dressed in front of him. Gray had seen his sire naked within a couple of hours of having become a vampire. Of course. That situation had been just a little bit different. "Feel free, unless you're shy, at which point, I am happy to avert my gaze." He said before he got nice and comfortable, taking a sip of his coffee. "Once you've got something on, we can talk a little bit more about what it means to be a vampire, the sort of things you should be doing, the precautions you should take." He added on, as the warmth of the drink rippled slowly through his system.

He shrugs out of his messy pants and into the fresh jeans moving his stuff into the new pockets. He stands in the kitchen a bit longer even though his sire was now in the living room. Sighs as he touches his side again. "What am I doing?" He mumbles. The confusion passes as he begins to lose focus. He walks back into his sire's presence. "Then, let us talk." They were already talking about serious stuff, so to get more serious wasn't really a change. He decides to take a risk. The risk of 'getting close.' "You know I owe you my life. I will...heh..do anything for you." He kneels beside Grayson, smiling kind of. He wasn't really happy. And how he felt couldn't be explained with mere words. He reaches up and rests his left hand on Grayson's right knee, meeting his eyes.

It seemed to Grayson that there must surely have been a great number of things going through the mind of his newly turned progeny. There were hints of confusion there, allowed to leak through the cage of Kinder's mind and into the air. This didn't shock Gray really at all, because he had been a newly turned allurist as well only a short time before. He knew the intensity of the emotions that came with it. The highs were taller than mountains and the lows dipped to the deepest part of the sea floor. Through it all, meaning was something that had to be slowly created, like the careful deciphering of a new language with time and human experience as the only Rosetta stone for translation.

And allurists were creatures who naturally sought out connection, with bonds so deeply branded in them that it was a constant ache for more.

Before he could ask another question, he watched the way that Kinder knelt in front of him. He felt a hand on his knee. This was a unique turn of events - though Gray had never made a vampire before. Maybe it was not at all out of place. It was clear Kinder felt gratitude for Gray and the older allurist certainly understood that. The hand not occupied with coffee slid so that he could push his fingers through the other man's hair lazily, tips of his digits working lightly against a scalp in a sort of soothing half knead. "The only thing I'm probably ever going to demand of you is that you find your place in my family and find your place in the world. I want you to stay close to me. Most importantly though, I want you to feel the connection we share. You understand?" he asked.
