Doc: He nodded, "Good. Don't stay open too late.. close on time every night. Have someone walk you to you car too.." He looked at her. He didn't want to scare her, but if a young girl went missing in this city no one would think twice. "We are all targets.. whether we like it or not. There are secret government agencies that are not above kidnapping a few.. 'experiments'." How did he know? He used to work for them, and kidnap hopeless kids for experiments. "Install cameras on all corners of your diner..just to be safe."
Cathy Dawn: She nodded "For now the diner is in the mall so it closes on time when the mall closes. I have one Camera on the main door and have my hidden room. I will be careful when I leave there."
Doc: "Alright.. I would feel better if you had security walk you to your car..." But he doesn't press the issue. Who was he to demand anything from anyone. **** him.. he killed his wife. That inspires trust and respect.. right? He snorted derisively at himself, as he tossed back the second drink. "Do you know where to stab someone .. to stop them.. in case you are attacked?"
Cathy Dawn: She nodded "For now the diner is in the mall so it closes on time when the mall closes. I have one Camera on the main door and have my hidden room. I will be careful when I leave there."
Doc: Doc nodded. She was his innocent. His sunshine if you will, she was always happy for everyone and willing help if she could. But being an innocent, she was also the one that did not realize there was evil in the world. She wanted to believe the best in people. "Do you have a weapon..? Mace? Anything like that .. that you carry?"
Cathy Dawn: She nodded "I carry my gun and my sword with me. I will use them if needed. I hope I never have to." She would only use them if she needed to. She would never do anything she did not have to do.
Doc: "Good." He raked a hand through his hair. He was tired. He had slept. But it was a restless type of sleep. He couldn't put his finger on it. But he had a feeling of unease about him, and it was bleeding into his normally well compartmentalized life, affect his sleep, his concentration, and his memory, "I can't remember Dawnie.. do you live alone? I would feel better if you weren't alone.."
Cathy Dawn: She looked at him "I live with the Wraith and my dog that is all I live with. I do not know many to have a roommate. I also do not know anything to have a human like me to have one of them live with me."
Doc: "A dog.. " Doc didn't care for animals.. but dogs could be protective... unless it was a purse sized dog. Those were just wastes of skin, but he wouldn't tell her that. "Dogs can be protective..thats good."
Cathy Dawn: Cathy smiled and nodded "Yeah he is a pitbull. He is full blooded. I got him just after you left he is only a few weeks old though and needs some training but he likes to bark at Vincent and Vincent likes to play tricks on him." She had to shake her head the wraith and the dog did not get along that well.
Doc: Barking was a good thing. That would warn her if anyone was breaking in. He needed to start back on the tomes.. The spawns needed them. Dawnie Especially. Maybe it would take his mind off of.. her. Doc nodded. He really didn't know what to sy now. His mind kept wandering back to the fight he had with Cytherea.
Cathy Dawn: She looked at her dad and cocked her head to the side "Anything wrong dad?"
Doc: "Wrong...? Yea.. my wife is dead."
Cathy Dawn: "Not the Dad is dead? How did that happen? Did it happen in the Crash?"
Doc: Doc frowned, He thought she knew...maybe he misunderstood..that's probably what happened. He couldn’t keep his thoughts straight lately. "No.. after the crash..." He wasn't about to admit he killed her. No.. not yet. He poured himself another drink.
Cathy Dawn: She looked at him "After the crash she died. So she will not be back at all. Oh dad." She gave him a hug and just sat there with him. If he did not tell her that he was the one that killed her she would not know and he did not need to tell her he was the one that did it if he wanted her to stay the way she was.
Doc: "No she wont be back.. " That was all he could say. What more was there?
Cathy Dawn: She continued to hug him she did not know what to say to him at all.
Doc: He rested his chin on the top of her head, and said nothing.
Cathy Dawn: She knew what it was like to lose someone but she did not know how he felt about losing not the Dad.

Re: All Expense Paid Trip to Tahiti, What Could Go Wrong?
Dominique watched Ric up to his charades and was prepared to set sail on whatever was available. It could be anything from a sea worthy cruise ship or the S.S. Lollipop that was too small to be outfitted with liferafts. Who cared at this point? She didn't. She was far more concerned that her sire was out there and at the mercy of who knows what. Not only that, it didn’t help matters any that his wife was with him. That raised the danger factor tenfold.
Cytherea Nilson. If the name didn’t say enough the fact that the woman had only recently put the pedal to the metal and cleared out half a farmhouse interior in one of her moods that Doc inspired with his typical antics most certainly did. The shadow was uneasy with any ideas that came to mind as far as possibilities for Cytherea’s reactions to being in a plane crash. A crash that despite her best intentions, Dominique had paid for and gifted to them.
It could go badly really quick. And that bad part, well, that was reassuring to think about. Worse had her starting to pace on the dock while Kenlie asked where Boner was at. Hell if she knew. She currently didn’t even know where the **** Doc was crawling around. HOPE massaged the leopard spotted surface at the nape of her neck.
“Guys we are so unbelievably fucked right now.” She sighed as HOPE reached to the pocket that started shaking with the incoming call to her cell phone.
While holding up a finger she stepped away and took the call. It was Grace. The receptionist at Genesis Travel. Dominique was prepared to hear the woman go on about how her employer was lost and the terrible possibilities that would not be any help in lifting her own mood. A usually positive mood which was sinking faster than a rowboat with an anchor size hole in the bottom of it. Much to the petite woman's surprise the first words out of the travel employee's mouth were the best she had heard in the last forty-eight hours. Doc had been found. More like he got his *** out and they were to wait for word from Doc himself. The call ended quickly because she needed to share the good news and relieve everyone standing there ready to risk limb and *** to find him and Cyth.
“Doc has made it back. We are to relax and wait for word from him.” She shook her head slowly. “Before you start asking that is all I know. His receptionist called. Anything else... I don’t know anymore than you do. How, where, when and why he will have to fill us in later.”

Re: All Expense Paid Trip to Tahiti, What Could Go Wrong?
This wasn't going well. Everyone seemed to be in confusion and not sure what to do. That guy Boner wasn't showing up either. Stagger Lee let his eyes wander around, watching Roderic jump from boat to boat, disappearing below deck for a while before showing up again.
He heard Mini's request to check his bag, and shook his head absentmindedly. Of course she was right, it was a sensible suggestion. But unlike for most of the others, this wasn't his first trip out into the wilderness. He knew every single bit he had packed and why he had packed it. He was prepared, and he had made sure Kaelyn was prepared, too.
"My boat?" He looked at his girlfriend a bit astonished. His boat was rather small and suited for short, swift trips on the river. It was just big enough to squeeze all five of them into it. But the luggage would sink it. And even without luggage, they'd run out of gas as soon after a few hours.
Thus he shook his head. "I think Roderic has found the right one", the cowboy said, pointing at the big fancy boat. This would be a rather insane trip. On a stolen luxury yacht that was near impossible to get out into the ocean unnoticed. But if by some odd luck they made it, it would sure be a good vessel to make it to Tahiti safely.
None of them seemed to be an experienced sailor though. But there was no reason to worry, he had all the equipment needed for navigation with him. Just as he was about to call over to Roderic that they were coming to join him, Mini announced some news to them.
"Good for him", Stag said with a cool shrug, but obviously relieved. "Well Roderic, seems you have that boat all for yourself", he called over to the vampire, then turned to Kaelyn. "So it seems we won't be celebrating our anniversary on the ocean at all...", Stag told her with a smile.
