Are we going to make any progress here? The thread seems to be languishing.

Thread is currently waiting on a couple of people to post. Regardless of whether or not they do, however - the next round of posts will start tomorrow, when Brandy (Nikolae player) posts next.

In the future, things will move faster. The reason for the delay right now is laying the foundation for the group.

However, when the impact threads start, the groups will be smaller (because they'll be split), so the posting itself will go quicker.

Yup, gonna post tomorrow with the caveat that the remaining three folks that had initially voiced interest in joining can STILL join anytime in the thread. Hate to pass folks up but I don't wanna lose steam either. :)

Second round is a GO! >_> To the remaining two folks who hadn't posted, you're still more than welcome to!!! Just shove the door open or something, make a grand entrance (I love hilarious and awkward posts, personally).

Brandy is going to be posting again tomorrow, just so people know. So any more posts in the second round should go up by the end of today!

Round 3's a go. Was planning to go 4 rounds, though if the RP demands a little more I'm not opposed. After that we'll get the board up and running to begin planning future threads.

Presumably, A.R.E.S. will still be taking members past this initial gathering thread?

I’m still pondering as to whether to sack a project that a tiny handful of us have been working on and just join this, which seems to basically have the same mind-set.

Yeah, A.R.E.S. will be taking more people. We just needed a starting point.

Brandy will have more details about that though.

I absolutely hope ARES continues to grow. I have a long-term idea in my head, but most of my thoughts on this group (on this game from my perspective at this point) center more around the story than on the game-play. So story-wise, ARES has every reason to grow and develop it's own identity within the grander story of Harper Rock itself. If that makes sense. .-. I was telling Joshy the other day that I feel more like a writer than a roleplayer lately, and I'm hoping others join me in that sense! But yeah, long story short I'm hoping for future recruits to join the fray!
