Mortll slipped outside into the mall ... even with the crowds in the mall it felt like a breath of fresh air just exiting the restaurant. Mortll sighed what a mess how the hell was she to know the dude was a pint low already. She walked slowly to Quartermains custom Creations . So Tiamat cared for the young man this was a interesting turn there were few things Timat got passionate about it seemed this young man was one of them ... Mortll got that having such a scene happen on what she considered her home turf was upsetting to the young woman but it was how you handled such situations that spoke about your temperament the most . It took some balls for her to yell at Mortll as she had done .

Mortll made her selections quickly picking up a expensive Portfolio a few drawing pads and kit of quality charcoal and lead sketching pencils she paused and grabbed a pack of colored pencils as well. She had hated to see the young artists work ruined The portfolio should keep future works safe. It had been a awkward conversation at most when Mortll had asked the young vampire to become her adopted childe. It had seemed to bring a new dynamic to their relationship and Mortll was seeing a new side to the young woman. Mortll had always been the hard sort she rarely let anyone get to know her very well even as a human she had been shunned by the greater parts of society as a child deemed a witch. The one relationship she had let herself go and had made a true friend had ended in such disaster. It had left her reluctant to get close to anyone and each relationship she had thought just maybe after that had proven her point over and over.

She brought the items back into the restaurant and looked around for the young artist she was still there talking to Seiji . Mortll brought the items over to the table ." Hello there I'm Mortll this is my place I got you these things I saw that your drawings were ruined... I know such works cannot ever be replaced but I would like to offer you these things in hope that you make many more works." she paused not quite knowing what to say next she Turned her attention to Seiji " Are you feeling better and did your friend leave ?"

Tiamat heard the knock and glanced up from her computer. Her head cocked slightly at the woman standing in the doorway. It was rather amazing that she had made it all the way back without another member of staff saying anything. Her fingers kept working on the keyboard as she watched Winter. She stopped working and placed her hands on the desk as the other woman spoke.

“You’re right,” she stated, “you shouldn’t be back here.” She raised an eyebrow at Winter’s questions and comments. That was the second person to have pointed out her use of the old words. Being questioned over her use of an entirely dead language was not something thing The raven haired woman needed at the moment.

“I’m fine. I’m not entirely sure what you heard. It was probably one of the chefs in the kitchen. They’re always screaming at each other for adding some ridiculous spice to their special recipes or some such nonsense,” ~There~ she thought, ~That should be convincing enough to fool her. We have enough chefs from various Asian countries working here that it can hopefully passed off as some local dialect.~

Tiamat rose from her seat and and unzipped the back of her dress. She slipped out of the long white outfit, revealing a pair of black leather pants, black stilletos, a silver metal belt, and black laced half shirt. Tiamat approached Winter slowly. She motioned for the woman to follow her out. “Let’s have you return to your seat. I personally don’t want to have my job shut down by the local inspectors for this. It’s quite a pain to deal with. And Em get really annoyed with having to deal with them.”

Aside from circumstances, it was wonderful to see Seiji. He insisted once more that he was fine and Silhouette was forced to acknowledge, fearful that any more pressing would push Seiji away. The blonde woman ventured off, comparing Seiji to a younger sibling. it seemed to throw Seiji (as if he hadn't done that enough himself, she chuckled.) Things felt off kilter in restaurant, but she couldn't entirely place what gave her such a horrible feeling aside from the obvious feeding. Though all she had as a lead was a blood droplet with no wounds, Sil was wary.

"Been busy this past year, Seij?" She attempted to start up a new topic, hoping it would go in a more positive direction.

One of the women who'd been involved in the clean-up was approaching the table. "Mortll" she'd called herself. Silhouette's unprepared listening thought she'd said "mortal" but inwardly shook her head at her own ridiculousness and thought to herself that she really ought to pay more attention when people speak.

As the revealed owner of the establishment extended her hand, Silhouette's jaw lowered. She'd replaced the sketchbook, an action already deemed unnecessary to Silhouette as her sketches really weren't that important. With the beautiful, intricately covered book was a heap of rather pricey looking supplies.

"Holy shhii-"
"Holy shhii-"

Silhouette heard the double sound of her thoughts and words becoming entwined and she winced just slightly as she dreaded any response following the slip. Truly the book caught her off guard. Silhouette had already practiced the restraint of mind speak but obviously not enough.

She grinned, but quickly corrected it so that the extension of her teeth was hidden behind her lower lip.
"Sorry for the language... this is really, really a lot ..." her face dropped in utter awe as she gently handled the journal as if she'd been handed a newborn before realizing she needed to uphold manners. "Thank you so much. This is beautiful, absolutely beautiful."

Seiji shrugged weakly in response to Sil’s question. He’d been busy enough, he supposed. Work had taken up most of the time he could recall, but his mind and memories were so scattered that he wasn’t sure how he’d spent the rest. Had it really been so long since the two of them had spoken? Really, it was surprising he’d even recognized her at first, but something had just instinctively clicked when he’d seen her. It was Sil, he knew with a clarity that had surprised him.

He was about to answer when that strange woman returned. Her words reminded him of his little accident, and a fresh wave of guilt twisted a knot in his stomach. He swallowed his words, fixing an awkward gaze on the floor as the two spoke. At the same time Sil swore, Seiji winced slightly. A minor ache in his temple had worked up, prompting a sip of his unfinished drink. He nearly jumped when he realized the woman - Mortll - was speaking to him.

“U-uh..” he faltered with an unintelligent sound as his brain caught up with the conversation. “I- I”m fine, really, sorry- I..” Hurriedly he placed the cup down on the table before he dropped it, as he usually did with things in hand when anxious. “I didn’t really know her, um.. I- I think she went that way,” he stumbled over his words as they tumbled out of his mouth, gesturing in a vague direction he’d seen Winter leave. As if by fate he could see her now, with Tiamet. His heart sank with a sense of dread. Were they talking about the accident? How bad had it been? Hand shaking, he tried to make himself look as small as possible as his mind tangled over it’s thoughts. He could feel a headache coming alright.

Mortll supposed she should fix the situation she had fallen into Shame that a bit of lunch would cause such a drama. She raise a eyebrow as Seiji spoke he was hardly making any sense until she realized the blonde had vacated her seat at the table. She frowned as he gestured toward the direction she had taken. Hopefully the woman had just had to use the bathroom but something was telling Mortll she was the nosey type and needed to be kept a eye on. She looked around for her curvaceous employee but there was no sign of Tiamat .

"Seiji I am going to make you a appointment to see my Dr. I wont take no for an answer " She politely excused herself from the table " You don't go anywhere hun before I get you the appointment details Ok " she patted him on the arm careful to touch the material of his shirt . It would not do for him to feel how cold her touch could be so soon after she had fed from him ..... She turned from the table , Now ladies where have you gone she thought to herself as she went in search for the missing women .

Winter looked at the woman and smiled "Well what I heard was older than what they might know. I have been studying dead languages and it was a dead language. Then again it could have been from one of them. I was making sure you where okay. I saw you where upset though Sinji was not feeling good and fell. I hope he gets better he reminds me of my younger brother." She followed Tia as they left the office she did not want to get the woman introuble but she would also watch this woman because she knew the voice came from back here and was female but she would not say a thing it had sounded like Tia's voice.

She cast a glance at the woman who spoke to her. She was now absolutely certain she had heard everything. Thankfully, she wouldn’t have been able to understand what Tia had been yelling at Mortll for exactly. That would been something of far greater concern. So for now, she’d keep an eye on Miss Snow. If things got too close for comfort...well, she had ways of dealing uncomfortable situations.

“It was nothing. No need to worry about a complete stranger Miss Snow.”

She motioned back to the booth with her left hand before speaking again, “Enjoy the rest of your night here, I’m certain that Michelle will be back from her break shortly. Anything you want is on me for the remainder of your stay here. I must get back to work.”

With that she moved away from Winter and made her way back to the bar. She occupied herself with fiddling around with one of the taps that seemed to have gotten clogged, again. She removed the offending line and simply attached a new one. While she worked, Sam walked back and forth helping the patrons.

“When you have a moment Sam,” she said quietly on a pass, “Can you fix me a shot of the strongest whiskey Em bought this place? In a double shot please.”

“Of course Tia,” he replied with a nod of his head. He finished up with the last order he currently had and poured Tia’s drink for her. He left it on the counter and collected even more orders for drinks from the rest of the waitstaff. Tiamat stood up and downed the drink in one attempt before moving away.

“If anyone needs me, I’m going to be heading back into the office. Do you mind trying to make sure that no one needs me,” she asked of the few coworkers standing nearby.
