She nodded as Kayden made an apology for not being more social and smiled softly, pinching his arm. "It's no one's fault, no need to place blame. Life gets busy even after 'death' apparently." Alexandrea gave him a wink and chuckled quietly.
Laughing more loudly as she batted Kayden's hand away from pulling on her hair, Alex paused to reply to Temperance's words as they came into her mind and returned the wave of one of her mentors with a huge smile.
*Well you're back now, Tempy! And I am very glad. Don't you dare leave without giving me a hug, woman!*
Alexandrea finally caught sight of the woman that Temperance was with, and waved again. Her grin widening at the sight of her adopted Sire. *Liz!* Alex sent to the family matriarch and slightly bounced. *Woot! You're here!*
Kayden also waved towards the pair and then offered to go set up the pool table.
"That would be great, Kayden. I'll meet you there I have some hugs to pass out but I'll make it quick. She turned as he stepped away and headed towards her two favourite teachers.
As the sound of glass breaking was heard over the music, Alex paused in her steps and watched as something shiny that caught the light as it rolled went across the bar and then landed on the dance floor. Spinning to a stop, Alexandrea saw it was a mirror of some kind. Or it at least used to be.
Reaching the two women, Alexandrea gave them both tight hugs and then playfully scowled at Temperance. "Where have you been, I've missed you!"
Over the shoulder of Elizabeth, Alex could see Liz's husband Shamus as he headed towards them and gave him a cheery smile and a wave before addressing Tempy and Liz again.
"I promised to shoot some pool with my big brother but please don't leave before we get to all catch up, okay? Remembering her promise to Kayden and being a creature of her word, Alex kissed both women on the cheek and made her way to the area with the pool tables.
Spotting Kayden quickly by his stylish attire, Alexandrea went over and gave him a fake punch in the arm.
"You are looking very GQ tonight, trying to make Harper Rock's best dressed list? Stripes or Solids, by the way. And no betting. I'd feel bad if I took all your money the first time we played a game together."

Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
Familiars popped up from everywhere in Dark Eden. The allurist had no clue she would be so popular tonight. Temperance smiled politely and returned the wave towards Kayden as he wandered from the bar. She had some recollection of him joining DC a little while before her disappearing act. That thought only lead her to more questions. How many were still there? How many have gone? Eventually, she would need to filter these things through Elizabeth, but tonight was for fun.
She turned back towards Liz with a nod, "Well, I shall have to try one and fill you in on every hint of sweetness." She was kind. Temperance knew that her own club had a staple drink named after favorite choice, but it was especially nice knowing that others had some as well. Perhaps it was one thing that the allurist learned about Elizabeth in some time.
Temperance pulled on the stool in front of her. She was not sure whether to sit or stand and decided to stand and rest her foot upon the lower bar. Her crystal blues scanned the across the counter for the barman. It appeared he was preoccupied with another customer. She had only a glace towards Zodiac before Alexandrea arrived with the most restrictive embrace. She was startled at first. Tempy quickly brought her palms up to cradle across the women's arms. She shied towards Alex's expression. She knew very well that an unannounced leave was unlike her. Deeper inside she had wondered if they'd even want her back. It was her guilt talking, the feeling of had done something so possible wrong and how to approach it. Alexandrea's positive spark, eased her some. "We must catch up. I hope SoA isn't crawling with bugs and webs to mask our bookshelves." Temperance joked in response knowing well that if Crissy or the fact that Alex was still around, SoA was in extremely good hands. Temperance had prided herself in that little notion. A gleam now in her eye. SoA was meant to be a well run engine even if the conductors were away.
As Alex wandered off to play a round of pool, Tempy gave a slight wave towards Shamus than finally sat upon the stool she adjusted earlier. Her hand lay to the bar as she turned back towards Elizabeth, "Do you know the kind of ingredients in the drink?" She was curious now.

With his arrival, as he would call it, Shamus realized that he had overestimated just about every vampire that had gathered so far. It was kind of funny in a twisted way. Most vampires bickered either on the forum or off about how humans would do this or that if something wasn't done. Most vampires didn't do anything and just liked to complain. Yet here he caused such a noise by breaking a window and from what he could tell, only a small handful of vampires noticed it. Judging how there was no talk about it at all besides Elizabeth's whispers into his mind, he suspected that it was even less than a small handful. The staff didn't even seem to care, nor did they seem to care that he entered through the back. If anything, they seemed used to it. He gave a nod to himself as he walked closer towards Elizabeth. He would have to reform new opinions about everyone. Not only that, he came to a new conclusion. The race of vampires would not die because of humans but because vampires failed to pay attention to anything.
A frown formed as he shook his head and moved to stand next to Elizabeth. He was sure by now, she was probably scanning his thoughts and would soon be debating with him that it would be in fact the humans that played the crucial role if vampires were to fall. Such were the way things would go. Shamus rolled his head around in a few circles and then forced a small smile, this was a party, he was supposed to mingle and be joyful. With that thought in mind he cocked his head over towards Elizabeth and Temperance, "Ahoy there. How ya be doin'? I hear ya be talkin' about tha Golden Tulip? Such a grand drink it be. Worth tryin' once, even if ya have ta leave ya entrails behind afterwards." He gave a bit of a nod, before scanning the room to see what might be going on.

Corin danced and smiled at Knyte "I will have to introduce you to them soon but for now you are mine. " She leaned her head on his shoulder because he was there and keeping her calm and the voices at bay.
