She goes to the bathroom, and begins to shower. He can hear the water running through the walls like most apartments. The walls are rather thin and noise can be heard from the floor above and under as well as the apartments on either side of his. As she does this he looks around the room for anything that might be out of place. It's a habit for him since he has been turned and found out that his ex paladin girlfriend has entered into his apartment a few times. It's almost as if she doesn't get the message of what has happened - he's a vampire, she's a paladin and so the relationship they had is over. His eyes dart to the door as if by thinking about her she may show up like the imp she is. Taking a seat again, pleased by the fact that his apartment looks like it's not disturbed while he's been away. The water continues to pour a bit longer, so he leans forward and then takes a book into his hand. The book opens up about mid-way to the story “The Music of Erich Zann” and his eyes begin to scan the pages. It’s been one of his favorite stories for years and goes back to read it several times.

As she comes out of the bathroom, towel around her, she asks if he has something for her to wear. He thinks for a moment, wondering how upset that Renee would be if he let someone else wear some of her clothes. He’s not had very many interaction with the opposite sex that would lead him to believe that they’re okay with sharing. In all honesty, he’s sure that the other half of his old species is capable of sharing anything. If it weren’t for something to vent through such as social media, he’s sure they’d all kill one another. Instead of giving her some of Renee’s clothes, he stands and then smiles as he motions to the couch. “Take a seat. I’ll be back momentarily.” he moves to the bedroom where he usually sleeps before making his way back to the living room with a pair of shorts that he wears sometimes while he sleeps. They’re black with red lines down the sides. Handing her the objects in his hands, he feels this is a safe choice because it keeps everyone’s prides out of the equation.

“Put that on. I keep the apartment pretty warm in the winter so you should be alright with the little bit it is. Tomorrow I have something warmer for you.” He continues to speak as he sits down and gets comfortable. There is a pause as he makes sure that his page is marked in the book before placing it on the table. “As for the pentagram, it’s more there for show. Magic is unlike what you think it is. It’s used with the language of the fae.” He states, though that’s about all he knows of it. he put a little effort into rituals before he just sort of gave up and moves on to tracking. “Do you have any questions now that we’re alone”, his eyes look to the clock making sure that they have time before he would have to sleep.
