'Hold on tight' and hold her breath. That seemed so odd, yet she found herself doing both without any question. He said he didn't have to breathe and the just made her mind spin – or maybe that was the lack of oxygen from holding her breath. However, now she knew what he meant by the fact that she wouldn't have been able to keep up. The world flashed by her in a blink. Perhaps she should have closed her eyes too because the moment he set her on her feet again she felt dizzy and a bit nauseous.

It wasn't until the world stopped spinning around her and she felt like she could turn her head without barfing all over this guy's nice floor, that she actually took a look around. She slowly made her way over to a couch and leaned against it, she was still a little light headed. However now she could really appreciate the place.

Well decorated and it did – in fact – look like a traditional home, only, no windows that she could see. In a way, she felt it made sense, vampires and sun didn't exactly go hand in hand, and he said that not all vampires could tolerate the sun like he had. Charlie continued to look around the place, noticing the computer in the corner, it reminded her of her bag, thankfully still at her side and heavy with the weight of her laptop. Everything else, her phone and such, it too was all there. She finally took a deep breath and stood up again, especially when she heard his curse.

"What's wrong?" She asked, slowly making her way over to him. Her eyes glanced that the fridge he was standing at and looked at him with concern. Did he keep blood in there? Was he out? And then it dawned on her, he was offering her to show her his world. She had taken the offer so couldn't he use her? Would he? Charlie found herself leaning against a wall as she wondered what would happen next.

"Need to feed.. I'm a little bit drained, after all the **** I had to do tonight. I'd ask you if you'd let me, but you haven't even told me your name yet.."

There was no way this girl would let him use her as a donor. Not this soon after meeting him, and possibly still unsure of whether or not he really was a vampire. Though, how that could be possible after all the things she had gotten to witness, he wouldn't have a clue. His mind was addled as hunger and drowsiness seemed to take hold. The Killer couldn't chance another excursion out to feed now, either. It was too late for that. The sun had already broken the horizon and there would be entirely too many people on the streets, heading to work and the like.

Unfortunately, feeding from this girl was his only possible option right now. He'd even used too much of his spiritual strength to use his Blood Boost power, now. It was either see if she offered, take what he needed, or force himself into bed without feeding, and risk being highly irate and possibly murderous when he awoke.

But, he would give it a few minutes to see if she decided to offer him her blood. 'Please, just offer it.. things will be so much easier if you do..' was the only thought in his head right now.

Charlie blinked, and blinked, and blinked a third time. She was just thinking something like that but then he mentioned that she hadn't even told him her name. She thought back through the entire night that she had been with him, every visual and word spoken between them everything he had shown her was burned into her memory with a visual and audio clarity of a HD movie. She shook her head as she continued to look at him and then finally spoke, "I could have sworn I brought it up somewhere but it's Charlie. Well Charlotte but I prefer Charlie." She took a step towards him, taking in the way he was acting his mannerisms and all of the things most people didn't spot. She usually did but not always. He spoke again and it pulled her once again out of her thoughts. He sounded almost distraught. At least that's the way he sounded to her, it could have just been her hearing things. Still...

She took a deep breath and looked down at her arms, she shrugged out of her jacket and set it on the counter. "Of course. You saved my life, and you let me keep the money I took from you. It's the least I can do." She said as she crossed the last bit of distance and looked up at him, her chocolate eyes filled with a wonder that was colored with all kinds of different questions. "Is this going to hurt?" She asked as she leaned against the counter, one hand slowly running up and down her arm, as if the motion would allow her arm to grow numb, but if anything else it was making her more sensitive to anything.

Charlie lifted her arm to him, not really sure what else she could do or if he could even feed from there. It was quite possible that the vein so clear in her wrist that even she could see it was too small to feed him. Then there was the part of her that still didn't believe that this was real, that she hadn't followed this guy through the sewers, that he hadn't done things he had, that she wasn't offering her blood to him. So many things almost screamed dream or nightmare. Still, it was time to take a leap of faith here.
