Re: Banner Feedback
Lessen the brightness on the boys, for sure. They look too dark for the background, but! I do like it. :3

Re: Banner Feedback
I see what you're saying. I think that could just better be improved by removing the background. LOL
I tried to add a dappled shadow across them as well to show they're in a forest, which I'll clean up when I try a new background...
Thanks!

Re: Banner Feedback
I think the background looks great. It's nicely balanced too, the two of them positioned like that. For me it's the colouring that's a bit unbalanced, and not the background. I'm sure any background would look ace. You blend like a pro.
My suggestion would be to tinker with the left fella. He could be desaturated a bit, perhaps play around with the cyan/blue in selective colour. Also, maybe playing with a dark grey layer and lightening on low opacity to bring all the shadows/black to the same shade. Just suggestions though! Perhaps it's intended for left fella to stand out the way he does. In that case, perhaps just de-red/de-yellow a bit, but keep the vibrance?

Re: Banner Feedback
I couldn't find a better background... >.<
I've had a try with your suggestions. I've lowered the orange tones in the dude on the left (Claude). He is supposed to have warmer tones as he's alive and Myk is a pale s.o.b. so I did want there to be that contrast, to be fair.
I've added some darkness to the background, believe it or not. I think the opacity on that was about 25%.
I've also added a bit more smokey opacity over the entire image... by about 20%.
So all in all, you can just barely see the difference, but I do think it looks better. So thank you!!

Re: Banner Feedback
I see the difference! It is subtle but it is visible. The white tones on Claude now match the white tones on Myk and there's less IntensityTM around the T-Zone for the warmblood. Looks good!
Do you use pexels for backgrounds? That's where I go. My second go to is Tumblr aesthetic or photography blogs.Myk wrote:I couldn't find a better background... >.<

Re: Banner Feedback
My old arse has mostly been using DeviantArt for resources and putting things together that way for backgrounds. XD
Thank you for the link to extra resources!! I'll be sure to have a look there and more on tumblr. <3 <3 <3
I still long for a newer version of Photoshop, which I kind of have access to already, but I worry my <i3 processor won't even be able to handle at this rate. I need a new PC. <.<

I love your work so much, Claire. Is it hypocritical and bratty of me to demand more graphics from everyone when I haven't made one in months? i just love looking at everyone's work. They're always so inspiring!
