Ivy Pratt wrote:Since you can steal zombie animal parts from greater mooncalves, and there are Dead animals in the gift shop (which is really creepy coz even my human charrie can see them and buy them XD) could it be possible to make a zombie pet? Necromancers can summon zombie people, so surely they could summon zombie animals, at least in rp theory?
You mean a greater Mooncalf? That would require the "craft greater mooncalf" power.

Or do you just mean a zombie animal? Because greater mooncalfs aren't zombie animals; they are simply zombies (well, mooncalfs) who have had animal parts melded with them.

I don't believe I've decided on the zombie animals thing yet. I remember somebody asking, but I think I said maybe in future.

Serenity wrote:It has already been done RP theory. Serenity while human witness a dead cat come back as a zombie. That was over a year ago and that help drive her into finding more answers. Be really bad if that's not the case at all... seeing as you know... what drove her to stay in Harper Rock, to do research on what was going on here without that ONE thing? There wouldn't of been a reason at all...
You should take care when roleplaying things that aren't yet canon. I might not ever allow zombie animals.

Having said that, you could probably come up with a reasonable explanation if you had to.

No no, "fact or fiction" is just a forum on the internet somewhere. Humans posting there are humans who have chosen to seek it out (or were told about it by friends or whatever).

Prudence wrote:If a vampire character "left" the country, and rp'd doing things that were against the masquerade on purpose or accident, would they acquire a bounty?
If Crow saw it, yes. But Crow probably won't get wind of it unless it's international news or something like that.

Dex wrote:Are zombies contagious or not? I'm pretty sure I've seen people RP it both ways.
They are not contagious, but if you die from zombie wounds, you're very likely to return as a zombie, because the places where zombies spawn would cause your own body to rise as a zombie.

There's also the fact that a bite from a month old corpse is surely going to give you an infection, if left untreated. A regular infection, I mean.

Robert Pratt wrote:Question on wraiths....

How are they connected to their 'master'?

As in - would it be legitimate RP for them to be having a convo with someone on one side of the city, or in the SR, and for their 'master' to be able to hear the answers or see through their eyes somehow so they can know how the convo goes?

The wiki says:

"Often more powerful than a ghost, but also less sane, these spirit creatures will do the bidding of the summoner and acts as his or her eyes and ears, but wraiths can do very little damage to a living vampire."

But I believe when I wrote that, I meant "eyes and ears" symbolically, like "you are my right hand". Unless I've stated differently in the past, wraiths wouldn't act as relays / proxies for sight and hearing. They'd have to communicate things to their master afterwards. I'm kind of torn on the issue though, if I'm honest.

ETA: As Justin said, maybe player choice is best here. It doesn't matter that much.

Elizabeth Naarc wrote:Shamus does that a lot, but he also has read memories. His thrall/wraith and minds are often "linked," it's a pretty neat rp idea that I would steal (borrow) if Liz and Reynold didn't have such animosity.

Yeah I'm okay with that. Combining powers creatively (as long as the combinations aren't too powerful) are cool. You'd probably need read memories, mindspeak and even maybe eye spy to see and hear what your wraith sees and hears. Which is NOT to say that's possible to read other PC's minds in a similar way, because it's not.

I actually asked David that when i was playing Eze for a possible story line, and basically? Fae are pretty much on their own and don't really like humans persay.
Yeah this exactly. The fae used to get involved in human affairs more often, but don't hardly ever anymore.

The origin of paladin powers, however, is a little less black and white than that. Suffice it to say that although they don't communicate with fae, there may or may not be a fae who is on their side. >.>

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but is it possible to trace the Crow through hacking? I mean, it uses a computer technology to put the bounties up, so it should be traceable.
That's okay, let's see how you do it

Can I have a cookie?

Seriously, though. How should Enchanter be RP'd? I don't quite get how an IC power could affect the Crow's decision-making process.
