When you turn a anime live-action basically you are kicking the audience who loved it in the balls. Is always going to be horrible there's a reason why anime is funny in a different way. It's because his animated slightly over exaggerated but hilarious because it is an animation. It's not funny when a real person doesn't it's just cheesy and stupid.
Both seasons were awesome.
