"Might want to follow the right cash. 15k max increments." She said and then followed with, "95,000."

Skee ball, the young vampire had been wandering through the club in search of the game. It’d been years since he played, but the nostalgic atmosphere left him yearning for the smooth touch of the wooden ball and the clatter it made rolling up the alley before bouncing into one of the shoots. He still had the orange porcupine tucked under his arm from his win at the darts booth. He stopped before the stage where the redhead in the blue dress stood. The tattooed allurist watched as the bids rose higher and higher and on a whim, placed his own,

“110,000.”

Immediately May’s voice screamed through his head, “Jack, this isn’t why we are here!” He knew that, of course. It was quite a bit of dough to be sure, but he’d just won quite a hefty bounty. "And you’re just going to throw it all away, aren’t you?” It was only money, there was always more to be had and besides, it was the adventure, the thrill of the hunt that had motivated him in the first place. Diving through the depths of the city, swinging through caves and catacombs, and fighting monsters, made a guy feel like the hero of his own fantasy novel. An exasperated sigh rattled his brain. “You never much cared about cash before…” he said aloud, looking much like he was muttering to himself. His ghost giggled, "You’re silly, you haven’t even gotten the coin yet.” Her statement was true enough to have Jack crossing his fingers, hoping like heck that those funds would come through soon. He doubted he’d win this gamble, but that girl on stage sure looked like she could use a song.

Amaranthia furrowed her brow at the male she didn't recognize, she didn't like this, not one bit. Though she could appreciate that he was actually playing the games she'd so painstakingly sought out and researched.

"125k."

Perhaps the allure was that the young woman was a human...maybe all the bidding was just for a chance to snack on her. It was a chilling thought, even for the allurist with the toxic kiss. Still there were other mortals present. Possibly the other bidders just saw that similar, soul scratching, something swimming behind those eyes.

“Put me down for 130,000…”

The young vampire’s gruff, yet strangely melodious voice rangout. 'I guess we’re not playing any skee ball tonight…’ May’s regretful response tickled his brain cells. “The night’s young, darlin’, there’ll be time for whatever games you wanna play,” Jack blabbed aloud again. He really needed to watch that. 'We could buy a whole skee ball parlour with the dough you’re dropping.' He smirked and shook his head.

The allurist furrowed her brow, as the male kept speaking to himself "Are you quite alright there?"

"He's just thinking out loud." Alex offered and stepped over to stand beside her childe.

*'I vouch for him, Elder. He's one of mine.'* Alex sent to Amranthia's mind while she pinched Jack's arm discreetly.

Amaranthia breathed a sigh of visible relief "If I place trust in you and am burned, you will rue it." She replied in the same mindspeak to the woman. She would trust this one, because of Alexandrea's words.
