Re: Doppleganger bug - DISCUSSION

Just my little tidbit on the matter.
I don't actually have doppleganger, but I do have a shadow vampire on Path, and an Allurist with enthrall human 2 on blood.
Honestly it's not all that bad of a power I bet. The problem is more that it's a mastery power but even then it isn't all that awful, except for that it costs 2 million to get the thing to unlock it, and only then the pxp.
1/3 of my current stats, for a character I can automatically swap places with, who can fight and function in gameplay basically as a thrall without clothes, is actually pretty great. Even at only level 17, I could make huge use of this for exp gaining, crafting, money, stealing, and just in general.
Human thralls are fantastic, but in total truth they aren't all that powerful or skilled. I have yet to break into any lock with a thrall, they aren't great at hacking, I've been using mine almost exclusively for either zombie ears, pickup loot, or getting the saphires/emeralds from alonquin caverns. But a doppleganger could break into stuff as long as you get a high enough stat for it, it's basically a pureblood human in terms of leveling up that relies on your actual character to get them.
In gameplay, it's a fantastic power, aside from the two million dollar price. It just happens to not be the easiest for everyone's particular style, and doesn't provide a lot of rp content to work with unlike thralls do. Admittedly it may not seem like the most enticing, but if you use it right I'm sure it could be pretty cool.
