That makes sense! I was just wondering, before/if I chose to have my paladin set up that way.

To be fair, the earlier situation might not be an accident. The character set to automatically attack is sitting on the only entrance into the lab, that I know of, making it difficult for anyone - militia or otherwise to get inside.If it's working as intended, grand! Things can be come up with. Just wanted to make sure it was, as someone earlier pointed out, it is a new building. Could be some kinks. :)

That brings up another question: mistakes do happen. Is there anything in place to protect someone on the militia? There was a scenario example given of you could check the list, go down to move your character and attack someone that could have gone behind you and signed up for the militia within the same time frame of you moving and you could hit them without knowledge.

Just wanting to make sure of everything involving this part, because it's fun to finally have a character that's so not pro-vampire. I don't want to mess up due to mistakes. :)

If the militia felt that was the case with one of them, they'd just nuke the lone sentry with the entire team, and the infiltrator wouldn't have any backup AI as it would be on a secure floor, so they'd get killed.

Yes you can have multiple characters take part in the chapter.

Is this going to be monitored at all? I only ask because a person could believably just involve all 4(+) of their characters in the militia, go down and attack people on the first floor with all 4, and then go back to the relative safety higher up. I mean I don't think anyone would do that, but I'd love something official from the big man to verify if that's a reasonable strategy or if it's not kosher.

There's nothing set up to protect from that. I've advised people maybe only attack those you know for certain are working their way through the human guards, as that way you're much less likely to attack a new militia member. It should be pretty easy to see who is working against the cure, by checking to see who progresses to floor 2 or those who seem to move to kill humans live. If their security is revoked, they can always stick to the bottom floor and run away again somewhere outside when they are done attacking.

It's not going to be easy for either side, but that's the idea. No need to make it easy for people

The cheat code would prevent it, as it'd be a direct attack on specific targets. Chapters in terms of slider progress, on the other hand, is always okay for multiple alts to manipulate, and that exception is already stated in the rules. Game wide events aren't subject to the usual alt rules, but that doesn't mean we'll allow for alts to gang up on the same target just because it's a chapter.

I don't want it to be easy at all, not for something like a cure. I was always kind of hoping you'd do something like this. xD

It'll take some watchful eyes, then, to make sure we do what we're supposed to. This should be fuuun.

So someone can't join with intentions of defending the research and the cure and later try and steal it in rp?
