Well it could, in regards to toughness. Not that I have a big opinion anyways on the matter. I doubt any of mine could get to thirty so...haha. Plus, 50k for the minimal dollars of loot gained doesn't really appeal to me.
However, I think your battle tactic seemed...strange. Too short for any character, as well as the xp being only 49 on level...35? That's another thing that turns me off completely. Too much fluctuation in xp gain.

Jaxon VS Ancient Hardened Revenant
Jaxon thrust his arm forward, unleashing a bolt of wild lightning at the ancient hardened revenant.
the ancient hardened revenant was knocked violently to the floor, his skin crackling and sizzling.
Abandoning cover, Jaxon took a second to take aim, heedless of any dangers, and unleashed hot fury.
The ancient hardened revenant was knocked backwards as a bullet hit him in the chest, narrowly missing his heart!
The ancient hardened revenant glanced around the wall, biding his time.
Jaxon slid along the ground, pumping off round after round mid-slide while keeping low.
The ancient hardened revenant's head exploded in a shower of blood and grey matter as several bullets thud into his skull!
Jaxon gains 49 exp!
Jaxon also took an item (Ancient Hardened Revenant Trophy)
Something seems not quite right about that.
49 exp? Ouch! That definitely doesn't seem right. Surely, by level 34 the exp should be worth the effort?
I don't know how tough the ancient hardened revenants are supposed to be, relative to, say, a wendigo (which are possibly the toughest regular NPCs?), but a wendigo can go down in 3 hits too, so to me the battle report isn't much of an issue. My concern is the exp reward. The difference with beating a regular NPC or a labyrinth creature is that your character gets 125/136 exp for the job, not 49, and you get to attack another one if you lose, without trawling back to the start.
I love the concept of the labyrinth, I really do, but those rewards just aren't enough to tempt me out of the forest :/

Yeah, I think the exp rewards need an additional bump up. I'm thinking (hoping) the 49 exp thing was a bug of some kind.

Kira must be pretty weak to get kicked out of level 2 (was killing everything then suddenly lost one). Forgot to put on full reports to look out for weirdness. Considering level 1 was doing like 33 exp, would think a floor that high would offer more than 49.
Floor 2 gives 50-55 exp

She got kicked on floor 2? That seems a little...off.

Yeah...that seems very off. I think there's a small chance that you can fail against just about any NPC. Random number generator being cruel type of thing.
That being said, is there a way to change that in the labyrinth? It would blow to have to start all the way from the beginning when you're 20 floors in and can get another 10-15 more floors.
Like in a raid, I'm not as worried about it because you only get kicked back 1 floor, but the entire thing with the labyrinth is to see how deep you can get, which is largely based on stats and battle tactics. And having that small chance to get bounced back to the beginning regardless of your stats or the like seems counterintuitive to me.

Yeah...
Wait kicked back one floor? I got kicked out completely and had to buy another key. Or is that when you get to a certain floor? If we're risking that big sum of money and lost progress for a random glitch of being kicked, so not worth it.

The revenants were broken. I spelled their name wrong on the stat generator code. Basically you were fighting enemies which were about as weak as normal zombies, haha. They should be very tough now.

That's about what I suspected it was! Happy to know they're fixed =D

Yeah, it's 50k, and then like when you get kicked, you get kicked out. Start over, get a new key. That's kinda a lot of people's thoughts. A lot of money, especially if youre getting kicked out early. I don't think the xp or loot is worth it personally. But, maybe if I could get to level 30 something it might be? IDK.
